I got a cake for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was really amazing. Taste-wise a 10/10, the detailing- 10/10, my overall experience there was 10/10. We usually go to this bakery to get chocolate croissants and coconut jam cake - MUST TRY! The chocolate croissants dipped in chocolate on the both ends are so delicious and big for just £1.

I bought two cakes for a treat for tea, both were dry and tasted stale. The red velvet was not as bad as the pineapple upside down cake. But not really fresh and lovely. I did go at the end of the day which probably did not help.

Extremely disappointed. I ordered a pink cake for a big party and instead was given a black cake, which was completely inappropriate for the event. This wasn’t a small detail — the colour mattered, and it ruined the presentation. To make matters worse, the cake cost £45, which is far too expensive for such a basic and careless mistake. No apology, no attempt to fix the issue, and no refund offered. If you’re ordering something for an important occasion, I’d strongly suggest going elsewhere. Reliability clearly isn’t a priority here.

The team created a beautiful birthday cake for my son—both visually stunning and absolutely delicious. The design was thoughtful and well-executed, and the flavour didn’t disappoint. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again in the future.

This was the latest cake I got from Edwards. I've ordered a few personalised cakes from them and they were so good! And beautiful. And on many occasions have bought their fresh cakes from the counter and they are also brilliant!

Absolutely unacceptable. I ordered a pink cake and was given a black cake instead. That is not a minor mistake—it’s a complete failure to follow a basic order. The customer service was just as bad as the mistake itself. No accountability, no urgency, no real apology, and no effort to fix what THEY did wrong. I was brushed off as if this wasn’t a big deal, even though it completely ruined the purpose of the cake. This company clearly does not care about its customers or getting orders right. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere. I will never order from them again.

Very good bakery at the end of high street. No seating inside only grab and go. You can buy cakes baked goods and sandwiches.

Shocking Doughnuts are terrible. Taste chemically Ham and cheese croissant was awful cheap cream cheese The interior of this place is rotten

Edwards bakery in willesden is the best.Amazing costumer service, lovely staff.The kinda and polite lady who took my order was very helpful she made the cake exactly like I requested listened to me and answered all my questions with patience. the cake was amazingly delicious and looked beautiful i give them 5 starts.

The pineapple upside down cake is out of this world. I order 2 pieces at a time so watching my waistline very carefully.

I dont rate this place at all. In fact the area is in real need of a good bakers and Im sure this place was good at one time but it doesnt seem to have moved with the times. In fact it is probably stuck in a time warp from the 1950/60s. The bread just isnt that appealing. The French bread is long, shapeless and not that tasty. Their loaf bread is the same and the cakes aren't much better either. There is an opportunity in Willesden to offer something exciting from a bakery point of view but no one has grabbed the bull by the horns. Edwards could do with visiting other bakers to see what else they can offer rather than the same old tired stuff which just isnt exciting or appealing. My tips would be L'Angolo/Siansbury's for bread and Lisboa Patiserrie for cakes. Trying something different would be a start.

I always buy cakes from Edwards Bakery. The cakes are delicious. these guys make the best cakes and value for money. I got a cake for Christmas with free christmas decoration on cake for £20. Cant ask for more. I would recommend edwards bakery to all my friends.

We don't get our cakes from anywhere else except here. We've been loyal to Edwards for years because they've got fantastic tasting cakes, not too sickly sweet and jammy but just the right balance with the fruits cream and nuts! And for reasonable prices compared to other some higher end bakeries which don't even taste anywhere near as good. I also buy some of their delicious sandwiches made with freshly baked bread daily.

Consistently high quality of cakes and even though we don't live local to them anymore, we are still willing to order from them and drive all the way to pick it up!

This used to be good well over a decade ago. I bought a pasty here and it hardly any filling. Over priced and not good products. I like to support independent businesses where possible, but I'd choose Greggs every time over this place.

excellent service, very friendly and helpful and most importantly- best cakes i have tasted and reasonable prices too- unlike patisserie valerie who are popular but charge extortionate prices for cakes which are not as nice as edwards! their sandwiches also
