I'd been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, and we finally did it for dinner on a weekday. They do not accept reservations and seating is first come, first served. You can choose to sit inside or on the patio. We decided to sit inside because it was too hot outside. The interior did not impress me. It's rather small, and even though we sat inside, it was still hot and didn't give me the impression of a fine dining establishment. Their prices are comparable to those of nearby restaurants.
Service was good and our server was on top of things but the food was mediocre. We ordered some drinks, and they don't have a big selection of wine. We started with their soup of the day, which was nothing special. I even forgot the name.
Then I had their Grilled Chicken Chimichurri, which is marinated chicken breast and comes with some salsa, rice pilaf and grilled broccolini. I liked it but they need to work on the portion size. You can see in the photo below that it wasn't much.
We also tried their Grouper, and it was good but not the best we have had. We didn't like their steak frites either even though that entree was recommended to us. The steak was hard to chew and nothing special. Order something else from the menu. It's not their best dish, but it's more expensive than other items on the menu ($40).
Overall, this is a good restaurant, but I doubt I'll return for dinner because there are better options nearby. Like I said, it was too hot inside, food portions and quality could be improved.
