Efes Restaurant (Whitechapel)

Amazing first visit! This was my first time at Efes Restaurant (Whitechapel) and it was such an amazing experience. The customer service was the best I’ve experienced they were so welcoming and even brought a few complimentary dishes (bread, sauces, salad, and tea at the end) which was such a nice touch. We had a lovely small chat with the waitresses, which made us feel right at home. The food was delicious, with generous portions. I would definitely recommend this place and will absolutely be coming back!

We had a lovely night at Efes Whitechapel. The food was grilled to perfection.. loved the shish and adana! Great flavours. The sides complement the meal, and it was great value for money. Service was excellent, the staff really look after you 😊

A recent, first time visit to this restaurant with family including our 11 year old grandaughter. The prices are reasonable and the staff were so friendly and accommodating to our varied, dietary needs. The food was so delicious, I am bringing some friends along for a social get together evening meal

One of my favorite Turkish restaurants in the area! I’ve been here many times, and the quality is always outstanding. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic a great example of traditional Turkish cuisine done right. From the tender grilled meats to the perfectly seasoned sides, everything is prepared with great attention to detail. The service is friendly and efficient, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. It’s also a big plus that the restaurant stays open late, which makes it a convenient option for a delicious meal, even in the later hours. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality, authentic Turkish food.

Really, really good food and service. Lamb ribs, chicken wings and lamb doner were excellent. Charcoal grilled makes a huge difference, and we were very impressed. Highly recommend.

Fantastic! The restaurant was packed on Wednesday evening, which tells how good it was. Nice atmosphere, menu with photos, good wine list and fresh salad and bread with authentic sauces on the house to say you are welcome here. My lamb shish was mouth melting with a touch of smokey flavour from the charcoal grill. The owner was around and kept his eyes on everything, making sure everyone enjoyed their time at his wonderful restaurant. Will definitely come back and highly recommend.

Extraordinary Dining Experience! The dining experience at Maldron Hotel Newlands Cross was truly exceptional! The food couldn’t have been better — absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The service was equally impressive, with staff who were attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. A big congratulations to the management for assembling such a fantastic team! Every guest was served fresh bread and a lovely salad as a starter, which added a thoughtful touch to the meal. The main courses were on par with what you’d find in the best restaurants in Turkey. Visited their spot in Whitechapel and had quite a nice time. Service was nice and the food came out quite quickly. I had their chicken Iskender which was quite nice, heavily in part due to their yoghurt which came with it. Overall the food was pretty good but I do think the menu is on the pricier side especially given the other restaurants in this location - it is just down the road from Brick Lane. Overall a pretty nice experience but not sure if I’m as eager to come back.
