"With a plethora of egg sandwiches served on warm, freshly baked brioche buns, as well as coffees, teas, and juices, Egghead Sando Cafe specializes in quick, grab-and-go breakfasts. Some of the standout sandwiches included the Chic, which comes with hand-battered fried chicken, arugula, an over-medium egg, and spicy mayo, and the Scramble, which has fluffy scrambled eggs, chives, melted cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, and spicy mayo. The strawberry matcha latte is a fan-favorite with layers of housemade strawberry puree over fresh milk and organic premium-grade matcha. The restaurant originated in a small cafe in Cupertino but has since moved and expanded to two San Jose locations." - Dianne de Guzman, Cathy Park

Yelp
The food was delicious. I had the Hawaiian morning and an eggy. The eggy is a 10/10. Delicate but savory with little bits of bacon. The Hawaiian morning was delicious. The only constructive criticism that is to my palate. I'd add something to give it some tanginess. (I suppose I could have added ketchup) The music was nice, the cafe was clean, and the staff was super friendly. They made it a point to greet me as well as check in with me as I was hanging out enjoying the atmosphere. The gentleman who was working is a good brand ambassador. He informed me about the homemade bread and made me feel very welcome. Lastly, I dig the kitchen window. I was watching the two lovely ladies putting in work. It is a small shop, so seating isn't the best inside but there is plenty of seating outside. If the shopping center would put out umbrellas for the sun it would be perfect. Definitely retuning and will recommend to friends. PS - I've had their "The Chic" previously. Also a fantastic Sando. Can't go wrong.

Yelp
I've always seen this place featured on my Instagram feed, and I'm not a morning person but I finally decided it's time that I try out this place. I finally woke up in time to get ready and stop by since they close at 3pm! The parking here is really easy to find since it is located within a huge plaza so there shouldn't really be a problem, and there are also electric car chargers here as well. The spot inside gave me a cafe vibe and there were some tables and chairs for people to sit by and eat or wait for their order. There is a kiosk you can order from or a team member can assist you with your order. The service was very quick and staff members were very nice--shoutout to the guy with the tan hat and black piercings who served me today! Everyone had amazing customer service, such as welcoming us in and bringing our order to our table. Today I ordered their B.E.C and fresh milk with strawberry puree drink. The sandwich was wrapped nicely with parchment paper and it was easy to hold. The sandwich was not too overpowering or greasy at all. However, there were some spots in my sandwich that tasted extremely dry. The drink was honestly whatever, it was just fresh milk and strawberry puree after all. I honestly think that the sandwiches are pretty expensive for what you're asking for (I paid somewhere around $10 for my sandwich alone), but I think that Egghead Sando Cafe is worth trying. I enjoy this spot, but I think there are better places that you can get your money's worth out of.

Yelp
I came here with friends since I was craving a chicken sandwich. Parking was really easy to find it is located in a big parking lot. I love the music they played it was valorant and porter robinson. It's a brunch place so it has a chill vibe like a coffee shop when I walked in. I ordered the chic which is their signature sandwich it was around(11 dollars after tax) I got my order really fast around 5-10 minutes after I ordered. I was pleasantly surprised with how large chicken was. It was really juicy and the chicken spice had a nice kick on every bite. Definitely a place to check out for chicken sandwiches.

Yelp
I've tried Egghead at different locations and they are all consistent in quality. I got The Chic sandwich and it was so good! Was very fresh and a big but affordable portion. The B.E.C sandwich was very good as well, with thick cuts of bacon. We also tried drinks here for the first time and I got the matcha coffee which was so good despite me being super picky when it comes to anything with matcha. The coffee and matcha flavors complimented each other well and it wasn't too sweet. The worker brought out our food to our table and was so nice and attentive. There is limited seating and did start to get busier once it got closer to lunch time. Great spot for brunch!

Yelp
Ordered online and picked up in-store. Sooooo good!! Got: Hawaiian Morning Sandwich, Eggy (extra baguette), Side Chic, Matcha Coffee Latte, and Egghead Cafe Latte. Would def order from here again, especially the Eggy.

Yelp
My friends and I came here for a quick lunch cause it reminded us of Eggslut in LA. It's located in a big plaza, so parking was easy to find. The place has a nice coffee-shop vibe to it and had a few tables/seats. I also enjoyed the music playlist as it was mostly league/valorant related LMAO. Anyways service was fast and I got my food quick after I ordered. I got their scramble sandwich and I thought it was a 7/10. The bun was toasted well yet had a soft texture. The egg scramble inside was pretty good, but I do wish it had a bit more flavoring and cheese. It felt like at times I was eating just an airy sandwich. Overall I think this makes a great light breakfast sandwich, but I would get something different for lunch next time. This restaurant left a good impression, and it's definitely a place to check out!

Yelp
The breakfast sandwich it serve taste good but the quality of the sandwich need to be worn on. I have the scrambled egg sandwich the food is good. But the sandwich falls apart when I pick it up. And it's hard to hold and eat... hoping they have serve on a plate or something. Here is my scoring card for this restaurant: 1) Location: ( 4 Point ) - Great location for customer to see and find. Great parking for street parking and back side with parking lot parking. 2) Decoration : (3 Point) - They still have the original decoration. Clean. 3) Price: ( 4 point)- The price is competitive but still a little bit pricey compare to other same stars and type food they serve. Need to reduce the price or increase the quality. 4) Quality and Taste : ( 3 point)- The quality is ok, food taste is good and portions are below average . 5) Type of cuisine standard : ( 4 point) - The style of Asian fusion they serve is pretty close to the way it was prepare here in California. Not bad! But some dishes did have slightly modify to cater the customer's need Overall it's not bad and I thinks it's great to give it a try and let me know what you think. Go foodies Total max is 25 Score 18 Stars = 72% round up to 3 stars

Yelp
I had the eggy with no bacon, scrambled eggs sandwich, passion fruit and orange ice tea and Hojicha brown sugar latte ( both 50% sugar). The service was a little slow nothing too bad. The Eggy ( no bacon) came with 4 perfectly sized pieces of toast. It needed to be mixed in well for some flavor. I'm guessing because I skipped bacon they didn't really compensate for flavor. Egg scramble sandwich was requested with spicy mayo but it didn't taste like anything. The brioche with the scramble sandwich was one of the softest I have ever had. Overall it needed some flavor too but still wasn't bad. I also had a hot brown sugar Hojicha latte with 50% sugar and really enjoyed it. Would probably try the iced version next time. The passion fruit and orange ice tea 50% sugar was great too. The ordering screens could be a bit cleaner.

Yelp
Egghead, the charming to-go brunch spot, has captured my heart with its cozy ambiance and filling flavorful offerings. Having visited a couple of times before, I recently returned for a quick lunch with friends, and Egghead remains amazing. The chic sandwich, a popular item on the menu, has generous portions. The chicken is not just batter, you get the entire chicken, it was bigger than the bun (haha). I paired it with the honey matcha drink, the combination of flavors is a match made in brunch heaven. The drink was not overly sweet and beautifully balanced the distinct notes of matcha and honey. On a previous visit, I opted for the Eggy, a more modest choice perfect for those with smaller appetites. The variety in their menu ensures there's something for every taste. While the interaction with the staff was minimal due to the kiosk ordering system, the efficiency in quickly getting our food to us was commendable. The limited seating, with only 3-4 tables, might pose a challenge during peak hours, and while there are outdoor options, the weather can be a deterrent, but since there's a to-go option, there are no worries. If you haven't tried it yet, I strongly recommend it. Its a great experience!

Yelp
Cute breakfast spot, but a little underwhelming. Food -- 7/10 I got the side chic sandwich and tots. The sandwich is massive and impossible to eat as a sandwich. I ended up deconstructing the sandwich a bit but unfortunately, it was all a little bland and boring. Maybe if I could eat all the components together, it would have been better? The buns were on the larger side too so the ratio just felt off. All I could taste was bread and it was little dry. Service -- 7/10 Not much to say. There wasn't a lot of interaction with the cashier. It seemed like they didn't want to be there. Environment -- 8/10 Space is cute. There's about 4-5 tables inside. Cleanliness -- 7/10 Tables were not clean or wiped down after each guest. Our table had crumbs all over it. Value -- 7/10 The sandwiches are massive so I guess you're getting a bang for your buck, but I would rather have a well put together sandwich that's easier to eat.

Yelp
First time coming here and I thought it was going to be busy for a Sunday but luckily they were not busy. When I first entered I had to order through the touch screens which was fine. (I've noticed a lot of establishments are doing this which makes sense) I ordered THE B.E.C and a matcha latte I was beyond impressed with how the sandwich did not tasted greasy or salty. Other places would be over the top but not this place. I ordered the less sweet with the matcha and I am happy that I did because it tasted exactly how I liked for it to taste. The place was very clean and had some nice music playing in the background which is always a plus. I will definitely be returning

Yelp
Had to make my visit to Egghead by my work. I saw the Breakfast burger and my eye and belly were sending me signals to go and buy one. I had to try it out. The Wagyu beef patty was cooked to perfection. The egg inside was ooozing out with the yolk and the sauce they use in this preparation was NOM NOM city. The whole complete sandwich was like a little bullet for the belly it was soooooooo good. Go and try one. I could have ate 2 or 3 of them but then I would have gained around 5 lbs. So I had to limit myself until next time. I ordered to go and the service was quick and easy and I loved the way the packaged the little grenade into the box and the bag they used. I will stop by again soon. This year again to try out the other great sandwiches on their menu. The male employees were great on the service and knowledge of the product was excellent. The place was filled with customers which is always a good sign that this place is good.

Yelp
Great food for a pretty good price! I went here with my mom and we shared the side chic sandwich and the egghead salad. The food was fresh, yummy, and pretty healthy. The sandwich was a bit difficult to eat because it was so tall but it was okay. The interior was a medium size so we were able to find seating. There's also outside seating for more space. The interior decoration was cute and I liked the vibes of the whole place. The workers were nice and accommodating. Parking was also easy to find because it's part of a shopping plaza. Id definitely come again!

Helen V.

Yelp
Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The cafe is aesthetic, clean, and has a modern vibe. You can order on a self-service kiosk and they bring it out in a decent amount of time.

Casey Q.

Yelp
Be ready for get your hands dirty because these sandwiches are messy! It's all worth it though because it was delicious. Seating inside is very limited, but there is plenty of public tables outdoors. The Breakfast Burger: Such a good quality breakfast burger. This is a pretty hefty burger for what it is. I love that even though there are a lot of ingredients in this burger, it didn't overpower the meat patty flavor. Side Chic: Wow! The piece of grilled chicken in this sandwich is huge! This is definitely a hefty sandwich. There was a good balance of salt and spice as the chicken was well seasoned all around.

Cindy T.

Yelp
First time at this location! I had the other location in Cupertino before it closed. I got the chic sandwich, and I thought it was super flavorful 10/10! My friend got the scramble sandwich, and she liked it! We both shared a side of tator tots which was super crunchy! For our drinks, I got the strawberry hojicha latte and my friend got the black sesame latte. We both thought it was lacking in flavor and gave it a 6/10. I probably wouldn't recommend or get those drinks again:/ But I'll definitely come back for the food! I also wish they had more seating. It was a bit packed on a Sunday but we were able to get a little seat inside the restaurant. They have outside seating as well.

Nahyla C.

Yelp
Egghead Sando Cafe did not disappoint at all. Their flavors were so good and definitely not something I have ever had. I got the Ultimate Sando ($12.75), Pink Dream ($5.50), and the Waffle Fries ($4.50). I think their drinks are a little overpriced for the size that they are however everything else I think is reasonably priced. The service was good, they were really nice. The ambiance in this specific restaurant was a bit gloomy and sad. Overall, I really liked the food and I would love to come back and try other options that they have on the menu.

Yelp
wanted to grab a quick brunch with a friend and stumbled upon @egghead_sando_cafe ! they seem to have four locations so far in south bay , including some in downtown sj, east side sj, and santa clara, making it easily accessible for all of my south bay friends‍ specializing in breakfast sandos, the buttery house made bread paired with the generous chicken and drippy egg made this a really solid meal! also tried their strawberry matcha lattewhich was refreshing, but i just wish the matcha taste was a little stronger. definitely want to try their hojicha drinks next time:) -- -- -- what i ordered: the chic ($10.75) strawberry matcha latte ($5.50)

Yelp
Cute cafe, but The Chic wasn't great. Detailed breakdown below: **Service, 5/5** Friendly service, and food came out relatively quickly. **Decor & cleanliness, 5/5** Super cute interior with tons of natural light. **Price & portion, 4/5** Portion size would be great, but the taste of the chicken fell short for me and didn't make it worth it. **Taste of the food, 2.5/5** I ordered The Chic, which visually was stunning with the sunny egg and the huge piece of chicken. However, the chicken wasn't hot and was barely above room temperature. The breading was good and a bit crispy, but the chicken itself wasn't juicy or tender. It was actually quite dry and tough for what I'm presuming is thigh/dark meat, which makes it extra disappointing. The bun itself also was kind of dry and not fluffy like I was expecting. I've had this same sandwich a while ago at the Cupertino location and it was phenomenal, so sad that this location doesn't seem to be serving food at the same standards. If I return, I definitely won't be ordering the chicken sandwich again.

Sumbul M.

Yelp
Loved the coffee. Definitely coming back to have coffee and other drinks. The breakfast burger was also quite good and super filling. Chicken sandwich was a little too much to handle, the taste was good but I guess it was too big for us to finish. Tater tots were delicious. It's a self service cafe with minimalistic interior.

Jules C.

Yelp
Love this place! Since it's literally down the street from my house, it's one of my go-to spots. So much so that I've earned a few free sandwiches. Highly recommend you join their rewards program. The Chick and side chick are great, tots are awesome and crispy. I always order online and it's always ready by the time I get there, and more importantly, always accurate. The inside is pretty small but when weather permits, there are tables outside.

Sharon T.

Yelp
FOOD: - Hawaiian Morning: Tasted exactly how it sounds. A bit too much arugula for my liking, but not a big deal since it's easy to take out. 4/5. - The Chic: HUGE and tasted just like popcorn chicken you'd get at boba shops. It's worth the buck, but it's also hard to eat given how big it is. 4.5/5. - Breakfast Burger: Simple and also tasted exactly how it sounds. 4.5/5. - Waffle Fries: Not as crispy as we would like and it was overly salted. 1.5/5. - Vietnamese Cold Brew Coffee: Decent Viet coffee that goes well with the sandwiches. 3.5/5. SERVICE: Service was decent. There was no one standing at the cash register for a while, but someone eventually came by to take our order. Also super random, but they keep one of the doors locked, but everyone who entered kept pulling the locked door on the right--maybe they should have that door unlocked instead of the left door lol. SEATING: It's a small shop with limited seats inside--fits maybe 3-4 small parties. However, there's a few more communal seats outside!

Amy S.

Yelp
I would have to say for quick service it could be rated like fast food. The staff was friendly but not very informative for someone being there as a first timer. I had high hopes this would be good but it was pretty bland. Not to mention my stomach was upset right after. Skip it .

Alex X.

Yelp
Really good Taiwanese chicken and brunch sandwiches, if you happen to be around the San Jose automall. I really appreciate the more modern interior design of this chain - the aesthetic is very nice, and it definitely feels nicer than some of the other locations. You order at a counter and food comes out pretty quickly. There are a few places to sit. I really think the Chic outshines everything else on the menu in. It offers large pieces of Taiwanese chicken, breaded and cooked to perfection, and the chicken is still moist and tender. An over medium egg and arugula completes the sandwich very well. The tater tots as a side are very worth it in my opinion (just regular taters, though). I'd err on the side of caution for the drinks, though - tried a strawberry hojicha latte which was not sweet at all and a brown sugar hojicha latte which tasted like pure sugary syrup. Still, I always try to stop by and get that chicken sandwich. Only downside is that the hours Egghead is open are rough to make for working individuals, unless you're an early riser.

Anissa R.

Yelp
Count me in as an official Egghead! I loved coming here for an awesome breakfast. After a long night of drinking, the fiancé and I scurried on over to Egghead for the perfect breakfast for the morning after. He ordered the fried chicken sandwich and I got the steamed egg on top of puréed potatoes with toast on the side. We also ordered a side of tots and avo (avo was just on the side looking a little sad like it was forgotten. Probably could've been put in his sandwich). The fried chicken breakfast sammie was bomb! So crispy and light; full of flavor and the fiancé could not stop talking about it. The steamed egg (which came in a mason jar) reminded me of one I've had in Vegas at Egg Slut. Very tasty and different! If you're particular about texture and not in love with softer foods, I'd stay away from this. Tots were also great! We both ordered the Egghead cafe lattes with almond milk and they were good. Could've been sweeter but that's a personal preference. Overall, service was great and quick. The spot is a little on the smaller side and indoor tables were scarce. They have outdoor seating but it was pouring when we stopped by. Be prepared to pay for sit down service prices as this wasn't the cheapest breakfast (~$50 for two people). We'll worth it though as we loved and enjoyed a unique breakfast!

Ellery D.

Yelp
My first time going at this location. Been in Almaden, service is fantastic. Here however im not too a fan. Everything is slow. Employee talking my order was not focused. Location wise plenty of parking. Food, I had to wait for 20 minutes for 1 order. Food was different maybe because it took too long for my order. Ambiance was okay small area and few tables inside, there's bunch outside.

Francie M.

Yelp
Got the Hawaiian breakfast sandwhich with spam, arugula, egg, and subtle ketchup Mayo. So good!! Matcha with honey was matcha without milk - it was good but pretty sweet. Limited seating inside, a few outdoor tables

Jenny Lyn N.

Yelp
Awesome place, really cute, clean interior! I came here during a weekday morning, there weren't a lot of people so our foods came pretty fast. First you come in you can order on the tablet, and then they'll call the number for you to pick up your drinks, they bring the food to you however. Now the food reviews, my bestie got the breakfast burger, she said it was good but it's missing something, she just added ketchup to it and it was a lot tastier. I ordered the chic, it also seems to be missing something, I just added the hot sauce and significantly improved the overall taste. I do recommend this place if you want a chill place to hangout and good food!

Anna S.

Yelp
Matcha coffee, Hojicha Latte, and the Fruit Teas are solid - Don't hesitate to try if they appeal to you. I appreciate that tater tots are an option, nothing special but hits the spot if you like taters. My favorite sandwich is the Side Chic, tastes less heavy given grilled chicken and super flavorful. Otherwise if I am ready to feel weighed down and full for the day, the Hawaiian Morning and The Chic Sandwich are pretty darn delicious. Brioche buns are made in house, pretty light, works well since their sandwich innards are heavyy. Their current spicy ketchup is different from the one before, it's a new version that's less spicy, hence less dark in color...I do miss the previous recipe, but apparently some people thought it was too spicy. Oh yea! I like the Eggy too, it's tasty.

Calvin B.

Yelp
This location has great service because all the baristas and cashiers are kind, process service fast, and the ambiance is clean and pretty! Definitely valuable if you study here. The food is good I had the BEC and the Chic here and on both occasions I left satisfied. The arugula ties everything together.

Cam Loan N.

Yelp
This is going to be one of our new go-tos. Food was perfect. The hubby and I both got their Chic sandwich, the crispness of the chicken was on point. We also got their tater tots and passion fruit orange green tea - both were delicious. The tots were crispy with a hint of salt. Yum. I kept the drink at 100% sweetness and it was perfect! I normally don't like my drinks too sweet, but their regular sweetness is not too much. We ordered online and the process was smooth as well. Highly recommend. Enjoy! -Sushiwhisperer

Tiania C.

Yelp
If I could do 4.5 stars I would. This place is pretty solid. The one detractor I don't like is lack of seating. They do have some seating inside but depending on the weather for outdoor seating isn't great. That being said, there are so many good points at this place! I've tried their brown sugar drink, matcha latte, matcha honey latte and all of those are solid. There is definitely matcha flavor so if you're weird like me and you don't like a really strong matcha flavor, be warned. That being said, each of the drinks grew on me. Each of the sandos have their own personality and we're pretty spot on. My partner said it absolutely hit the spot for a breakfast egg sandwich and even asked that we go two days in a row! Seating was hard to find but we found that around 1pm and around 2pm worked for us. That being said, it is a pretty small sample size so come for good food but dont expect a seat! If you get one, great but if not, it might be better to do to go. Parking here is plentiful. Since it is in a small shopping plaza, you really don't have to worry about lack of parking. They are easy to find and the location is really close to a park that is great for Pokemon go and if you're feeling like going up hill, communication hill is right there for some after brunch/lunch exercise.

Kathleen H.

Yelp
The ambiance of Egghead Sandro Cafe looks really nice and the chill music in the cafe sets the tone. The service is good, and the food tastes amazing! The chicken in The Chic sandwich is crispy, and the Hawaiian Morning sandwich is tasty with the spam! I recommend coming here for breakfast/brunch.

Matthew M.

Yelp
So yummy! I love, love, love egg sandwiches and Egghead did not disappoint. Sometimes DTSJ can be a little dicey but they keep the storefront clean and the inside has a great vibe. I work DT and sometimes I get food to go and sometimes I eat there. The staff is really nice and friendly. Just writing this review makes me want to place an order.

Jace C.

Yelp
Food is great. Drinks on the other hand is mediocre. This place seems to act like there's an ice shortage. There is never enough ice in the cold drinks. I don't know if I should take that as a good or bad thing. I'd like to think that if you order a cold drink you would like it to remain cold for a while and not for the ice to melt within 10-15 minutes. Besides that I think the sandwiches are absolutely delicious and affordable. But if you want to get a drink I'd recommend going to the 85 or the Tastea in the same plaza.

Lorianne L.

Yelp
My friend and I had breakfast at Egghead Sando Cafe on Capitol. Neither of us had eaten there before (or at their other location in Cupertino), but we're glad we did yesterday. The little corner shop had zero customers when we walked in at 9:00 am. The employees were singing along with the Christmas music, wore masks, and seemed to be having a wonderful Wednesday morning. Even though Egghead Sando Cafe has a small menu, it was difficult to choose what to order, because each item sounded so appealing. After a little back and forth, my friend decided to try the B.E.C. and I got the Ultimate Sando with cheddar instead of pepperjack. The sandwiches were wrapped well for easy eating, and we both enjoyed our breakfasts. I liked that my eggs were soft scrambled instead of rubbery over cooked eggs, and the brioche roll was a perfect vessel for the hearty amount of sandwich fillings. The only drawback from this first visit was the quality of the napkins. Egghead provides super thin single-ply napkins (think back to old-school diners that had those rectangular silver napkin dispensers on the table). Especially with finger-licking good sandwiches, it might be worth buying a higher-quality napkins. Egghead is only a few miles from my house, so I will definitely be coming back.

Erika T.

Yelp
plot twist :O First time here! I ordered a Strawberry Matcha Latte, and it tasted okay. I'm not an expert though not an amateur to Matcha drinks so this in comparison to others is okay. First taste after mixing the drink completely still tasted like milk than matcha, The sweetness and ice were normal though it was not sweet enough for me. Although, I admire the open space and quick service. The decor are definitely to die for vibes. I WOULD come back and order something else.

Sendy T.

Yelp
This is quickly becoming my favorite breakfast sandwich chain Tried them in DTSJ, bussin. Tried them on Capital Expressway, Bussin! Congratulations on the expansion into Santa Teresa! I'm sure it'll be BUSSIN

Thalia M.

Yelp
I've been meaning to try Egghead Sando Cafe for quite some time and I finally got the chance to try this place out! This is located right by Tastea on Capitol Expressway. This store is not too spacious but there's outdoor seating with plenty of tables as well. The Chic: 4.5/5 Chicken sandwiches are pretty good but some places tend to be on the dry side or even too salty due to too much seasoning. I actually really enjoyed this chicken sandwich because not only was it juicy, it tasted just like Taiwanese popcorn chicken but in a patty form! I absolutely enjoyed this and the veggies really paired well with it too. I would definitely order this again. Strawberry Hojicha Latte: 3/5 I don't normally order Hojicha lattes as I prefer it in a soft-serve form when it's less strong, especially the one from Matcha Love. However, this Hojicha latte was so creamy and delicious and the strawberry paired really well with the roasted tea flavor. This is one of the better Hojicha lattes I've had so far.

Calvin L.

Yelp
I came here looking for a sandwich. The name implied that they would have good sandwiches. I did enjoy the sandwich. The chicken was unnecessarily big and had a nice popcorn taste. I enjoyed how big the chicken was since you could eat it as part of the sandwich and on its own. The restaurant itself could be better though, tables are pretty dirty and seem like they don't get cleaned and staff is pretty flippant. Cool lil spot.

Brenda K.

Yelp
I tried Egghead for the first time when they were located in Cupertino but they now moved to San Jose. I am super disappointed by the location change because it is now so much farther away and I won't be able to have it as often. This place is delicious and I crave it often! My go to is always the B.E.C. and Hojicha Latte! I really like breakfast style sandwiches and the flavor is amazing! The Hojicha Latte is to die for - so fragrant and delicious! I have tried the The Chic before but sometimes the chili powder can be super overpowering and the arugula can be somewhat bitter. This sandwich definitely has a kick to it and you really have to be in the mood for it to order. The San Jose location is definitely an upgrade to the Sunnyvale one in terms of parking and abundant of seating - indoor and outdoor. The staffs are all so friendly! I highly recommend this place. I just found out they opened a location at the Rivermark Plaza which is so much closer to me and I can't wait to go!

Karissa R.

Yelp
This place has a cute and bright ambiance! They serve breakfast sandwiches and a variety of coffee, tea, and non-caffeinated drinks. It's a small place with limited seating inside & a couple of tables outside. There's plenty of parking. My first time here and I got the Ultimate Sando, which had everything you could want in a breakfast sandwich - eggs, sausage, cheese, avocado on a soft brioche bun. Not sure if it was good enough that I'd go out of my way to buy it again, but I still really enjoyed it!

Yelp
Cool place that specializes in egg sandwiches. I ordered The Chic which adds fried chicken on top of a perfectly cooked egg. I been here a couple times and the egg has been consistently cooked to perfection--yolky. The honey match is my favorite as it has enough sweetness with matcha bitterness

Yelp
Service was amazing! I love how vibrant and kind their workers were. The energy was unmatched and I'm glad we chose to go here over subway. Prices are roughly around the same from subway (right next door) to this location. The only difference is quality, taste, and okay fine everything is different and better here. Food: We got two items and all were so so so delicious!!! We'd definitely come back here again.

Yelp
Cute, fresh buns, and smart set up. I like places that focus on a few things and do well at them. This seems to be a very popular spot with a nice selection of egg themed sandwiches from scramble only to spam or fried chicken centers. I got the "Chic", which had a nice kick on the fried chicken. Also the fried chicken was juicy and tender, always a huge plus. The sauce layered in the sandwich with arugula also added another yum dimension. Looks like they make their bread in house and they have a good selection of lattes as well.

Yelp
Literally egg sandwiches, loaded. Egghead has good sandwiches and super friendly service (tips DESERVED). There's a nice outdoor dining area along with plenty of other students who eat/study inside. Parking is plentiful in the plaza but it does get busy at night in the vicinity. Food: I got the Ultimate Sando- which has great portion sizing with some avocado, cheese, sausage, and of course some scrambled eggs. It's a hearty meal, but i won't say it's the most flavorful as the avocado and eggs can mellow out the flavor profile. Nothing some extra salt & pepper can't fix but I tend to prefer less salt over more anyways :) They have good drinks too- strawberry matcha latte is what I believe a friend got and enjoyed. Will be sure to stop by again for lunch!

Yelp
Great place if you wanna treat yourself. Definitely would recommend to eat these sandwiches there as they taste the best warm and fresh. I got the breakfast burger which was actually really good, it did not need any extra condiments. The bun is super fluffy. The eggy probably is their most popular item but I was a bit underwhelmed from it. The bread wasn't toasted well and the base of the dip felt like clam chowder with an egg on top which I wasn't expecting. It is a nice size for a snack but k probably wouldn't order the eggy again. The honey matcha drink was really refreshing, just make sure you mix it all up first before drinking. This location isn't super big, there are probably around 4 to 5 tables inside.

Yelp
Lots of parking in this plaza. The interior of the café is super cute, but seating is super sparse. I didn't have any trouble finding a table the few times that I've visited however, so maybe they don't need that many tables. My favorites are the Chic and the Side Chic sandwiches. The chicken portion that they give you is way more than generous (it doesn't even fit in the sandwich) and the chimichurri sauce that they have in the Side Chic is just so delicious. Also love the bacon, it just complements the Side Chic so well (and I just like bacon). The kinda gooey egg that they have in the sandwiches are just perfect as well. I also enjoy the Brown Sugar Hojicha Latte, definitely needed to wash down all that chicken! If you need a comforting way to start the day, I would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Went here for a casual lunch and left very fulfilled. The Chic Sando: This was a pleasant surprise as I was expecting your typical fried chicken or chicken katsu style sando but it was prepared in a way that is similar to Taiwanese popcorn chicken. Nice seasonings and texture. I think the chicken could have been a little crispier and the egg a little less cooked so it has that runny yolk but overall still a good sando. 4.3/5 Hojicha Latte: It was a little sweeter and milkier than I expected and the hojicha tea was a little light for my preference. But overall still a decent drink. 3.5/5 Overall, I'd come back and try their other sandos if I'm in the area.
