Service was great! Atmosphere was very open and comforting. I’ve never been a fan of eggs, but my girlfriend was craving sandwiches and recommended this spot, so we went. Best decision ever. The food was insanely good. She got the Chic and I got the Breakfast Burger. Definitely would recommend this to friends

Google
Overall I thought the place was good. I had The Scramble and a coffee. The sandwich was really tasty and the coffee was great. They use a digital system to order, but what I found strange was they had an employee that was at the counter and walking around, but they never greeted me or helped me get napkins, utensils or anything. They simply dropped off my coffee and then the sandwich. That part seemed a little strange. The restaurant is nicely appointed otherwise. There were no tables outside, maybe because it was on the colder side. I would recommend this place based on the delicious sandwich. Just don't expect any service unless you ask for it directly.

I had a The Chic sandwich, and I love it! The Taiwanese spiced chicken is so good and it is dark meat! Best chicken sandwich I ever had in town! If you like Taiwanese flavor, please give it a try. I also had a Match coffee latte. It tastes great too. The wait was ok about 20 minutes.

Decently fast service despite being very busy. Tasty eggs and nicely roasted brioche buns. Crispy tater tots. Their tea selection is amazing. Love the strawberry matcha tea! Will go again for sure.

I used to always go to the Rivermark Plaza location, and decided to come here while I was in the downtown area. Very cute and spacious location, but the parking sucks. The Eggy is a menu item I normally love, but this location makes it quite salty. They are very generous with the bacon, so maybe that's why? But it was still enjoyable. The bread was tasty too. It also took a really long time to get our food unfortunately... We waited about 25 minutes when the staff estimated 10 minutes. Unexpected for a takeout order we ordered ahead of time.

Google
The egg sandwich is sickly sweet! I’ve had many egg sandwiches before and this is the first time I’ve had them with caramelized onions. There is no balance to the food. The salty drink on the menu that I thought would be interesting, was legit so salty, it’s undrinkable. The tater tots were the only savory g grace. Don’t know if I went on an off day, but they’ll never see me again. The food just looks pretty but it tastes awful

So I was hungry for breakfast while at work and found this place. It was down the street, and so on my break, I stopped in to grab some food. There was only a table of 4 and a table with one person in the place when I walked in. It took about 2 or 3 minutes for someone to acknowledge me and take my order. It then took 12 mins to make a egg sandwich. The egg was overcooked and the bacon was burnt in some spots and not cooked enough in others. The sandwich was flat with a lot of bread and a small egg. For the price, I expected more. The staff was not very friendly and the food was bland and not very appealing. I seriously doubt that I will be back after that

Google
Always a line out the door. The hype is believable! We were blown away with the flavor and taste 🤤 Brioche buns were being baked as we waited to pick up our order. Smells of fresh bake bread and other yummy flavors were all around the cute cafe. Recommend to order online and then come when order is ready. When we got there, line is still long, lots of people waiting outside. There were some people who brought a picnic blanket and ate by the grass area. Wonderful idea!

Yelp
The good: they were open early and had decently good breakfast sandwiches compared to all that's out there. Opportunities for improvement: Faster turnaround on orders-When we arrived, there was one person waiting for their food already, another person ordering and then us. It took just short of 15 minutes for the two coffee drinks, which one of them were incorrect. It took an additional 10 minutes for the food. They weren't slammed at all. If this is the norm, just remember this if you're stopping in before work or an appointment; allow for the time Food not to expectation-we have had egghead before and the food was out of this world. There perfect scrambled eggs, fresh buns and all together one of the best breakfast sandwiches ever. This was my expectation at this location. My bacon was cold and hard, but did give a huge portion; they got extra points for that!! The egg was okay. The bun was a tasty brioche bun, but wasn't as fresh as previous experiences. I think I may be being picky here as I was comparing it to expectations set by previous visits and offlit a little by the long wait. so sorry if I'm too critical on this one. Besides the wait, it was a good breakfast sandwich. I probably would have given 4 stars if it wasn't for the wait at a critical time of the day.

Yelp
Honestly not a huge breakfast sandwich person so I ordered the chicken sandwich. This sandwich was massive but I personally thought there was too much batter and had just large chunks of batter with little to no chicken in it. The spices were good and similar to Taiwanese popcorn chicken, but the spice on the chicken was also concentrated in one spot instead of evenly spread. I liked the egg which was cooked perfectly and runny, but wouldn't come back here for the chicken sandwich. May need to try some of their breakfast items instead!

Yelp
We fell in love with the Santa Clara location, so we had to check this one out--especially since it's just a short walk from home! This time, we tried the Eggy, and my daughter absolutely loved it. Something about its deconstructed style made it so fun for her to dip and repeat. We also shared the BEC, an absolute classic, and decided to try The Chic. It did not disappoint! It reminded me of the Taiwanese popcorn chicken you'd find at boba cafes, but in the form of a delicious breakfast sandwich. Definitely a spot worth visiting!
google avatar

Yelp
This location gives huge portions of chicken! I'm my favorite is the chic sandwich, which is a huge piece of Taiwanese fried chicken. The side chic sandwich is also good too for a healthier alternative. The tater tots are also solid. The food also came out pretty quick as it wasn't busy. There's ample seating inside and outside, although not a lot of seating for large groups.

Yelp
Egghead is a nice breakfast spot located in downtown San Jose, offering a variety of breakfast items. The restaurant has a cozy and modern vibe. I ordered the scramble and a coffee. The scramble was delicious. The eggs were creamy and soft, and the spicy mayo was well balanced. However, I would have preferred the bun slightly less toasted and the cheese slightly more melted. The coffee complemented the food well, but it was average. Overall, Egghead is a great spot for a comforting breakfast at a decent price.

Yelp
My BF and I decided to eat here after our morning Sunday run. We tried the other location in North SJ before and was also great. I ordered The Chic and loved the crispiness of the chicken, the egg was cooked perfectly and I just the right amount of mayo, and added avocado for an extra charge. For drinks, I got the Iced Matcha Latte with no sugar, substituted for an oat milk for an extra charge and it was delightful. My BF got the The Ultimate Sando, according to him the bun was nicely toasted, the eggs were deliciously seasoned, and the sausage patty was juicy and tender. For drinks, he got an orange juice which was fresh and pulpy! Overall, we're happy with this location and glad they opened one near us! Employees were nice and attentive and the place was clean and minimalist. Though I think the lighting is too dim lol. But, that's okay!

Yelp
We were in the area so we wanted to try this sandwich shop out for breakfast. It's in the middle of DTSJ so street parking might be a bit hard. We came on a Sunday morning and we ordered our food from a kiosk. The service for drinks seemed to be going fast, but the food took a little longer than expected. There's a kitchen behind the coffee bar and I believe they bring out the orders in batches. I got the chic sandwich and it was pretty good. The chicken tasted soft and tender and it was freshly fried. You get a BIG piece of chicken for the sandwich so that was nice! You have a few seating options indoor and outside. It's a fairly quiet area to enjoy a nice sandwich. Would def recommend and come back if I'm in the area to try out the other sandwiches and drinks!

Yelp
Heck yes. Egghead is definitely a go-to if I want to treat myself to a nice chill breakfast/brunch. I have tried the other sj location, but it was my first time at this downtown location. First impression: super cute and casual vibe! The menu is on the wall, but I love how you can order on the kiosk because I'm a visual menu kind of girl. I ordered the Hawaiian morning breakfast sandwich, the kyandi drink, and the tots. Everything was so delicious. The sandwich was perfectly filling and the drink literally tasted like candy (but refreshing). Also the tots were crispy and perfect for sharing with my friends. They could use some salt, but that's my preference. The only con about my experience was that the tables were super sticky, but that could be fixed. Overall loveee though and will be back!

Yelp
Staying in downtown San Jose for the night we were looking for a bite to eat in the morning. The location is nice because you can walk or drive as there is nearby street parking. The set up is very pleasing insid, clean, nice decor with the full menu on display. They have two ways to order, one via a kiosk or through the front desk. We chose the kiosk bc it offered photos of the menu items. We got a coffee and two egg sandwiches. Be careful when ordered to specify hot or cold (I guess it defaults to iced on some). After about ten minutes we picked up our order. It's really messy to eat, and best sitting at an actual table if you can. The flavor was good, not bad and not great. I just don't think I would come here again. The sandwich price seems steep as well, to me but then I have to ask myself that a lot with the price of everything now. $14 bucks for a sandwich with eggs veggies and meat. Overall a good experience.

Yelp
I'd actually give this place 3.5 stars but the food was good so rounding up. I'm a fan of the Egghead in Santa Clara in the Rivermark plaza so when I realized there was a DTSJ location and I was in the area, it seemed like a good option for a quick late breakfast before dropping a friend off at the airport. I've had the BEC (bacon, egg, cheese) and the side chic, but have yet to try the popular chicken sando so figured this would be a good time to try it. The chicken was seasoned well and the crispy texture was a good contrast to the brioche bun. Plus the chicken was still moist. It is big so I'd only get it if u was really hungry, but definitely a must try. I had some of my friends tater tots and they were so good! Crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside making it a great side to any sandwich you get here. The only downside was the service. While there were a few other people who were already there before us, a majority of the time we were there was spent waiting. I guess that speaks to them cooking everything to order which is nice, but considering how long everyone was waiting with the amount of people actually in the restaurant, the wait seems to be a bit on the longer side. Two of my friends got their food before me and another friend and the wait in between was so long that they finished their food before I even got mine (and they were trying to eat slow). Thats the only reason I'm knocking it down to 3.5 stars. The interior though is cool with an industrial/modern loom and there is also seats inside and outside, making it a cool place to chill. I think I'd give it another chance if I'm in the area just to see if the service was a one-off but definitely like the food

Yelp
I really love egghead! The interior look and creative menu items are really nice to experience. Often times, I find myself gravitating towards Egghead for breakfast/lunch. I have tried several items from Egghead, which includes their Scramble and Breakfast Burger. All have been delicious and very filling for breakfast and lunch. I have also tried several drinks and have absolutely loved them. The drinks taste very fresh and refreshing, especially with the food. One downside is this location is a bit on the slower side. Although not too inconvenient, it's just something I need to be reminded of when I visit. All locations I have been to have been pretty consistent with flavor and menu offerings, but I've noticed this Downtown location takes just a tad bit longer to prepare the food. For me, it isn't a huge inconvenience but might be for someone who is in more of a rush. I highly recommend Egghead for a delicious and filling breakfast or lunch!

Yelp
Delicious breakfast sandwich shop!!! I ordered "The Scramble" and I absolutely loved the soft scrambled eggs + caramelized onions in the soft brioche bun combo. The spicy mayo wasn't spicy at all but added such a pleasant creaminess to the Sando.
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
Came in for breakfast and this place is good! I ordered the breakfast burger which was cooked to perfection and the yolk was runny! Amazing brioche bun but it was slightly too saucy for me. Still a great place and good prices! Service was friendly and quick and the vide is very hip... totally could grab a table and talk or just work.
google avatar

Jenni G.

Yelp
I have become addicted to their B.E.C. Sandwich! It's way too expensive, but it's literally the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Please open a location in Campbell or west SJ!

Yelp
Egghead was one of my staple places to get food but lately it's been disappointing. When they first opened their various locations, service and food was good, but over time the quality of these things have gone down. Ambiance is okay at this location. Lights are slightly dimmer to match the interior but there's nothing bad about it. It seems like on slow days no one is out in the front, so there's only just you and the self-order kiosk. This location in addition to the capitol expressway one are not the best. I also have a review on the capitol expressway one but I will never come back to that location ever again. Overall, their time management still needs improvement. When there's no other orders, it takes typically 10-20 minutes to come out. When there's a swarm of orders, it takes 40+ minutes. I've also ordered online countless times and it has never come out on time. Quality of food is still relatively okay and fine. Some days they may or may not have what you want. Today I was not able to substitute for pepper jack since their shipment did not arrive. This location overall is not the worst, but there are still things they can improve on. Parking is also a huge hassle unless you want to park in the garage across the building (but no guarantee that there is available parking). I still come to this location every now and then, but the best location imho has to be at Santa Teresa. It's far but their service is a lot better.

Yelp
A nice brunch spot open early! I always get the Eggy (their poached egg over mash and bacon with baguettes). Super yummy and hearty in the morning. The tables are well spaced out, you don't feel cramped. Plenty of seating and there are outlets along the walls if you choose to do a bit of work or studying here. There's limited bar-like seating outside the restaurant as well. Parking - street parking or if you go to a near by garage the first 90 minutes are free. (see pic for Parking info).
google avatar

Abha S.

Yelp
It's an Asian/ethnic menu for breakfast. Only a few choices. It has a fun upbeat vibe. Coffee is good! I would recommend the Eggy! It's warm and comfort food. Service is self serve. The order gets completed fast and is promptly brought to your table. It's decently priced.
google avatar

Shinny L.

Yelp
They still need to provide consistent food. While I'm now getting the same ingredients in my orders, the last two times the food was (1) too spicy when I asked for plain ketchup (not the spicy ketchup) only on my side chic (like lava in my mouth and I'm able to eat most spicy food) , and (2) gave me stomach issues. I normally have a stomach of steel and can eat all sorts of food, but something didn't sit right the last time I ordered from here. Also the service is inconsistent. Sometimes they are nice sometimes they are not. They change personnel often as well. I think I'm going to refrain from returning even though it's very convenient for me.
google avatar

Yelp
I so badly wanted to like this place but it did not meet my eggspectations :( Super cute interior and easy to use self-serve kiosk for easy ordering without the hassle! They have a great variety of sandwiches to choose from and a ton of drink options. That being said, I thought my order was just ok! I got the chic with a side of spicy ketchup and my bf got the scramble sammy with bacon and a side of spicy mayo. Our order took around 15 minutes, which isn't bad at all! However, it seemed like only one girl was handling bringing all the food out and there seemed to be a ton of doordash orders and people waiting. When our order got called, we were missing our sauces on the side, which may have been because there were so many orders and only one girl so I totally get it! The girl informed us that there actually wasn't any spicy ketchup so she gave us an alternate sauce which I believe was ketchup mayo(?) - which I didn't mind. Onto the food, I thought the chic wasn't anything to write home about. The brioche bun was really soft and a perfect bun! The chicken was just okay IMO. It came out hot which is great but I thought it was lacking flavor and kinda got chewy in the middle. I also ordered the strawberry matcha which was also just okay! I wouldn't get it again. That being said, my bf really enjoyed his order. So, if I come here again, I might try something else and update my review!
google avatar

Helen V.

Yelp
Although there was no wait in line, our food ended up being the last to come out within our group of friends even though we ordered first. It makes sense that it would take longer because our sandwich had chicken in it but it was over fried and dry. The waffle fries were as hard and crunchy as chips and super salty. The interior of the place is nice with seating around.
google avatar

Lulu T.

Yelp
I got their ultimate sando and it was soo good My friend also got their salad and she said it was pretty good too! the food came out fast!
google avatar

Rylan B.

Yelp
As someone who is not from the area, I had high hopes for this place but it fell flat :// One thing I will say is that the place has a really nice interior and ordering is super convenient through the use of a kiosk. The wait was not too bad, even considering the fact that there was people waiting for online orders and seemed to be a short staffed kitchen. I will say that service is a hit or miss. Since ordering is through a kiosk, it is hard to get the attention of an employee since they're busy in the kitchen and they hardly come out to the register unless its to tend to online orders. On the menu, the drink and sandwich options looked sooooo gooood. However, it ended up just being okay. I ordered the Scramble with spam and a Brown Sugar Hojicha Latte. The Scramble (3.5/5): For a place that brands themselves around eggs, I think that was the most meh part :( It lacked seasoning or fluff. The sandwich is carried by the brioche bun, which I WILL give props for because that was easily the best part. It was soft/airy and sweet, which complimented the spam well. It wasn't bad, I just wish the eggs were a little bit better. Brown Sugar Hojicha Latte (2.5/5): I'm not really picky with my drinks, so I just don't know why this didn't stick with me. The drink was pretty watery, even though there was plenty of brown sugar. In addition, the brown sugar overpowers the hojicha flavor, so much so that it just tastes like you're drinking straight boba even when you mix it. I'm sure their other drinks are good, I just do not think this is the one for me. Overall, I am willing to try this place again. There was a lot of excitement for it and I still see the potential. Maybe I just need to order something different!

Sarabi A.

Yelp
Overall, very good. Not pictures: waffle fries 10/10. Tater tots 5/10 would skip on those

Alex A.

Yelp
Food was good. Was really put off by the cashier/service though. I placed my order by 2:25. I received my order at 2:41. She tried to pack it to go, and I said no it's for here. She's replies "um, we close in 15 minutes." Aka, at 3pm. I said, i waited 15 minutes for this, that's not my fault. Mind you I was in the ONLY person there. Sorry I've waited tables for 15 years, I would NEVER hint at someone that we were about to close DURING actual open hours. Bring on the robot cashiers I guess, cause this was not it.

Yelp
We got the Scramble, and Breakfast Burger with cheddar, and both were made fresh, the eggs cooked perfectly, the burger patty flavorful and juicy, lots of melted cheese... maybe a bit too much mayo in the Scramble, and way more eggs than the sandwich could hold (3 eggs to be exact), but both items were still really good. The bread was on the sweeter side, not my preference for this kinda sandwich but it was fine. The Pineapple Cucumber Green Tea was delightful, though a bit heavy on the cucumber flavor. The restaurant setting was bright and modern with ample indoor and outdoor seating available on a beautiful sunny day. Waits for service (to order and receive our food) were a bit long this past Sunday around noon. In the order line, there were several customers ahead of us holding up the line and placing their orders in slow motion, as we just stood there patiently... until finally an employee decided to help out and take orders at the front counter, but that's after they just watched us suffer in silence for 10-15 minutes with the line barely moving. I blame the slow, unprepared, and inconsiderate customers too, but a business should have a solution for the delays and inconveniences such problematic customers cause, and staff should be more quick to help waiting customers if the eatery is not going to have more than one single self-order kiosk. That being said, we still had a great meal and positive experience overall, so I'm giving 4 stars.

Yelp
A variety of tasty sandwiches on brioche bread . I ordered the ultimate sando sandwich with eggs spicy mayo, avocado and sausage. Also the tater tots were nice and crispy on the side. The fresh juice from sunburst was a nice refreshing drink on the side. Service is simply based on coming to get your food when your name or number is called. Ambiance has a fun industrial look with retro lights and pipes on the walls with a projector highlighting the name of the business on the wall in the back. Seating is limited and parking can be hard unless you go for one of the surrounding parking lots. A fun breakfast spot for the most important meal of the day in downtown sj. Thanks Egghead Sando!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a cute cafe that's clean, nicely minimally decorated & decent amount of seating. The cashier was helpful to answer a few questions I had about the menu. Since it's located downtown, parking is challenging. There is a parking garage conveniently across the street, but it's pricey. If you like OJ, order their freshly squeezed OJ as it's pulpy & refreshing. Tater tots were big enough for 2 people, just needed some salt. 10/10 - The B.E.C.: this sandwich was so good! Bacon was thick & very crispy; egg was perfectly cooked & the brioche bun was buttery & light. 8/10 - The Chic Sandwich: this was a bigger version of popcorn chicken you get at a boba spot & they use chicken thighs so it was very juicy; it needed more sauce as it didn't really add anything to the sandwich. This was a yummy choice, but I'd try something else next time.
google avatar

Maddie M.

Yelp
It was a cute little place to come and hang with friends. I got the fries and strawberry matcha latte. The fries were so good. The strawberry matcha was good, but they didn't cut the strawberry small enough because I wouldn't be able to get anything out of the straw because there were strawberries getting stuck. Overall, the matcha was good and I would go again.

Yelp
Happy it was open on New Year's Day to experience for the first time! Efficient screen process to order & pay. Took 10 minutes to receive full order, drinks came at around 5 minutes. Breakfast burger was delicious, egg ooze & bun was nice and soft. Chicken sandwich was very crispy, a good sized chicken sticking out of the bun, and a tad spicy if you like good spice. Overall clean environment, kind staff, and good food.
google avatar

Vanessa P.

Yelp
Everything was okay but nothing here to rave about. Flavor and pricing were meh. Portions were decent . They forgot the spam that was added to the burger, but politely brought it out once brought to their attention,so adding an extra star for that. Also, keep in mind they don't offer any dipping sauces. Sauces wouldn't have made the food less dry or bland but it would have added some excitement lol. I asked if they validated for parking and they didn't even know. Ambiance is very forgettable, sticky tables, poppy music , probably best for pick up and not dining in. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. Overall experience was mediocre.

Yelp
This is my second time trying egghead and my first time getting take out and first time at this location. I came in the morning on a Saturday, so there was plenty of parking and walked about a block to get to Egghead. This casual dining restaurant specializes in breakfast egg sandwich that is served all day. Breakfast Burger (5/5): I was really craving something heavy so I got this. It's a burger with medium in between two brioche buns. It comes with arugula and grilled onion. For a place that specializes in eggs, the burger was pretty good. I like how the sauce and onions added so much flavor. The eggs was juicy and drenched very throughout the sandwich. I definitely see myself coming back here again!
google avatar

Jill U.

Yelp
Clean location with friendly quick service. The Hawaiian, the Scramble, and some tots. The coffee and the egghead latte were both good. Everything is served in to go type containers but we ate it all so none of it was leaving in a box. There was a regular stream of dine in a lots of UberEats/DoorDash types.

Yelp
Ordered the chick and it was really good in my opinion! The chicken was well seasoned and was flavorful! The restaurant sparking is a little tricky since it's downtown but besides that it was good! Workers were really sweet and nice! The restaurant was small but nice! They had a kiosk you could order from.
google avatar

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised by this place. Someone else mentioned the brioche bun and they were so right. It was great. I think I may not have known how good a brioche bun could be until this morning.... Ordering was easy and the food was ready within a few minutes. Coffee was also REALLY good.

Yelp
Tried Egghead Sando Cafe today for the very first time. I had lunch with a friend and am super glad we chose this place! I've seen multiple Egghead Sando locations around the bay area, but never got the chance to stop by. This location is right in the middle of downtown near all the bars. Parking won't be easy. I didn't ask if they validate, but you'll have to park on the street or garage. There is a little kiosk for you to order your food. Loved the ambiance and decor. Very simple and modern. Felt very clean too. Food came out pretty quick! What I tried: Ultimate Sando What I liked about it: - bread was soft and sweet - egg was nice and floofyyy - meat was good quality, tender, moist - liked the addition of the caramelized onions - avocado was soft and creamy Overall, I had a really good experience at Egghead. I'll definitely be back and maybe check out their other locations if I'm ever craving a breakfast sandwich. Give it a try!

Yelp
The sandwhich was amazing and satisfying! I got the egg Sando and added chicken to it. Everything was so delicious. The eggs were extremely fluffy and the bun that it came on was soft as well. The chicken was the right amount of crisp and flavor. I also got the matcha strawberry latte. That was refreshing and tasty. The service was self service and quick. Recommend giving them a try !

Yelp
We came here to get breakfast on the way to Fanime. Decent amount of people, wait was kinda long. You order on the iPad and wait for your name or order # to be called out. Really good breakfast sandwich though! Thinking about it makes me crave it now. I would recommend asking for extra spicy mayo aioli or asking for more on the side, I think I would've enjoyed it more that way. I also got a drink, the strawberry hojicha latte. Delicious! There's a good amount of seating inside and also outside. Not really good for quick service but the quality of ingredients are really good.

Yelp
Pretty decent sandwiches here. We ordered the BEC, the Ultimate Sando (with sausage), and the waffle fries. I think the Ultimate Sando is not on their menu on their website, which is a little weird. We found it while ordering on the iPad at the restaurant. We liked the BEC, but thought the Ultimate with sausage was only OK. (The sausage was a little disappointing in terms of flavor and size.) The waffle fries were pretty overcooked, so they were hard and tough. Service was a little weird. I noticed their condiment/utensil station was out of ketchup and asked someone at the front if I could have some. She did not believe me when I said they were out, and she wouldn't give me any ketchup until she verified the shortage herself. Unclear why they have a soft embargo on ketchup here.

Yelp
Came in on a Thursday afternoon and it was pretty empty! Heard good things about this place, so decided to try it since I'm not from the bay. Overall food was pretty good! My favorite was their cheeseburger LOL! It's like a cute little cafe style place, where you order at a kiosk and they bring things out to you. Nothing too big about service, we asked for waters and kind of got some attitude from the workers, but nothing too bad to completely ruin the experience.

Yelp
Clean interior with about 4 tables inside, and a few outside. Quicker and more causal breakfast spot to brunch if you're looking to grab something quick. Parking available in the plaza. Brioche bread was airy and paired well. My sandwich didn't feel really "hot", kind of room temperature which threw me off a bit as I like my breakfast sandwiches to be warm when I get them. It's not bad, but also not out of the park special

Yelp
The food here is perfect brunch food! I ordered The Chic Sandwich and it was very good and filling. The chicken is like Taiwanese chicken and it was crunchy and had a good spice to it. My favorite part of the sandwich is the arugula. The workers were very nice and attentive, as they brought the food straight to our table. Would come again!

Yelp
Side Chic (3/5): Weirdly, the strongest flavor is the arugula and the brioche bun, even the bacon is barely noticeable. The bun was beyond dry and stale, it made the entire burger unenjoyable; the buns could've been improved if toasted and despite the many fix-ins, there's more bun than meat. The chicken is marinaded but it's nothing special, it's just soy sauce, doesn't make an impact. It is huge, moist, and it's not really grilled like how you'd expect, it's soft and wet, reminds me of barely air fried chicken. The bacon was also not crispy, more chewy. Chimichurri sauce's flavor wasn't noticeable but every few bites, there's a nice little kick, would get this. Personally wouldn't come again, not crave worthy. The place is self serve so not much to say. You order on a tablet and pay there too. Sit and they'll bring the order to your table.

Yelp
I wanted something healthier and so I ordered a salad at egghead sando. Their specialty salad is mostly arugula, bacon bits, with side of scrambled egg topped with a slice of cheddar cheese. Unfortunately the egg and cheese were cold by the time the food was delivered to me, hence the taste was only ok. Meanwhile, my friends' orders of side chic looked very very good since the piece of fried chicken was bigger than the sandwich itself. I really wished I also got a side of fried chicken to go along my salad.

Yelp
Modern industrial interiors, a self service kiosk for orders and some great sandwiches! We had the Chic and the Side Chic. Much like in real life, The Chic was crispy fried and dry but packed a spicy punch, while the Side Chic had juicy grilled chicken breasts swaddled in sauces! I absolutely loved both sandwiches. Also ordered a non caffeinated house made -strawberry purée drink and a Hojicha latte, both of which I'd skip. The drinks are made upfront , while they serve fresh, warm sandwiches from the kitchen behind. Quite spacious and would stop by again when in downtown SJ.

Yelp
Arrived at 7:20am hungry on a Thursday morning. We were the only ones there and were optimistic. Apparently, someone had placed an online order for 22 sandwiches ahead of us so we waited almost 40 minutes for our food :( When our food finally came out, both breakfast sandwiches were prepared wrong - they didn't include any of the add-ons & customizations we had ordered. The taste was okay but nothing special. Overall, we really wanted to like this place but were let down. Obviously, the wait time was out of our control so my rating is purely based on food quality and getting both our orders wrong.

Yelp
Oh em Buddha! I'm not sure if I've been to this place (chain, I think?), but holy flippin' moly is it fantastic! Where have you been all my liiiiiifeeeee!! Went here with a couple of friends and ordered a whole bunch of different junk. I could go into deep detail about each item on the menu, but I don't really wanna do that, cuz I gotta go into work, but regardless, I'll just go ahead and tell you that EVERYTHING is the best thing you're ever gonna eat! But I'll tell you that the Ultimate Sando is what you crave. Just like Brawndo. It's what plants crave. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yelp
