"A local outlet of Chicago-based Indian chain Eggholic is landing in Chantilly this March with egg-based Indian street food like lachko, which the menu describes as 'shredded green bell pepper cooked with cheese and running eggs.' The menu also includes curries, chaats, rice dishes, and sandwiches like the paneer masala sandwich with marinated paneer and veggies." - Stephanie Carter

I was excited to try Indian Street food here. All the reviews and photos looked great! My experience was not bad - just a bit confusing due to language barrier. The Chai was nice, though served warm not hot. Ordered the dahi puri.....so much food...but I was expecting a different flavor. The puffs were filled with goodness and i found the dahi puri were a bit too sweet. Next time I'll try the pni puri, perhaps it's my limited experience with Indian apps. The toofani chicken was tasty. Ordered it hot and it was hot. So good even though they were a bit conservative with the portion (6 bite size pieces of chicken in plenty of sauce). They were busy around 2PM so that was a good sign. Food came out quick too. Will try the holic chicken kabob next.

I have been curious to try this place for months, but kept talking myself out of it....thinking It's all egg dishes. I finally looked at the menu via Uber Eats app and then decided to walk in and order. I don't remember his name, but the employee who helped was nice when I asked him what were the popular dishes. I wanted to order the Amdavadi Touch Sandwich, but ended up ordering the Paneer Butter Masala. I asked him what it came with, he responded "roti". Once we opened the packages, the curry was full of oil and mostly gravy with rough 5 unusually large chunks of paneer and heavy on the salt. The "roti" was just plain white toast!!! This was very deceiving. Why would I 1. Order an Indian curry to eat with white toast 2. Pay that much for a curry that comes with white toast???? It Also, the menu on the wall showed one price, but it rang up a different price. I asked him why is there a price discrepancy, and he just responded that the computers are new and have the updated prices, but would not honor the price on the wall menu. The 2 stars is because the restaurant itself appeared very clean and nicely decorated, otherwise I would give 1 star.

EGG HOLIC is hands down one of our favorite spots! We come here at least once a month because the food is always fresh and packed with flavor. The grilled chicken Marsala sandwich is a must-try—it’s perfectly seasoned and so satisfying. Another favorite is the chhole, a deliciously spicy chickpea gravy served with the most amazing paratha. And no meal is complete without finishing it off with their Mango Mastani—absolutely perfect! The restaurant has a charming urban street vibe, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Gary, at the front counter, consistently delivers exceptional customer service and will make sure you leave happy. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a great experience!

Google
A 5/5🌟again for Gary n his amazing customer service. He's as good human as his tasty food. My another experience : Flying from the BayArea landed in Dulles little late than expected and it United airlines u know that hardly severs any food :( , so hungry I was n about 10:40 PM in the night by the time I got out of the airport. To avoid the junk n fast food, I crossed my fingers n gave it a try calling EggHolic, n to my luck Gary picked n they almost closed the kitchen, but this man is a great human beyond an entrepreneur for a reason who never says NO to a customer, specially a hungry one. He said don't worry order n get here. Being a chef himself, he prepared a good dinner meal and had it packed n ready , more importantly had a bright smile when I arrived almost at 11’sh. The delighted face of his satisfaction of feeding people was blissful n the desert for the night.Thank you Gary, surely a great memory it is , n indebted for this late night extra mile thing you did. During my stay, did go back a couple of times and tried some unique items on the menu. It's a veg n non-veg place , they keep it separate which is very good sign for a picky eater like me, so surely a good food stop if you happen to pass by this place.

Google
I’ve only tried their Lava Paneer Biryani, and it’s excellent—a must-try. My husband enjoys the egg wrap but wasn’t impressed with the egg bhurji and disliked the Paneer tikka wrap, as the paneer lacked flavor. Service is quick, both for takeout and dine-in.

Christina

Google
Eggholic is unironically one of my favorite places to eat in NOVA. Who knew the humble egg could be so delicious?? I highly recommend their egg sandwiches. They are deceivingly filling and super delicious. Their mango mastani is also a must-try for lassi fans.

Aarti B.

Yelp
Delicious Paneer Tikka Club Sandwich, bursting with flavor! While the combo of ingredients seem a bit weird - paneer tikka, cheese, cucumber, tomato, and Mayo - they actually pair really well together for the perfect bite. The Mayo balances out the spiciness of the paneer masala while the cucumber, tomato, and cheese help to round out the flavor. The quartered club panini sandwich is very filling and started to get full after a couple of pieces and managed to conquer all 4 pieces of the full sandwich. The gooey Molten cookies (Double Chocolate Chunk and Chocolate Chip) are a great sweet ending to the meal! Will be back for the Paneer Tikka sandwich and cookies!

Yelp
I honestly only get the chichen kadai and chicken butter masala. Even the mild version is a bit too spicy for me but I deal with it because it's delicious. They used to give small appetizer-sized plates of rice but this last time they gave us the larger regular-sized plates full of rice. I noticed the electric menu boards show $15.99 for each dish, but each item ring up at $16.99. I didn't make a fuss, but I will definitely point out the discrepancy next time. So far, so good though.

Yelp
Interesting experience. Decided to stop by for dinner Saturday night and was very disappointed. The grilled veg sandwich was cold and flavorless. The potato mixture tasted like unsalted mashed potatoes. Upon opening the sandwich I saw that spices were sprinkled on one side not mixed in with the potatoes. The bhel was ok. The onions/tomatoes mixture was not as fresh. It was too sweet, heavy pour of tamarind chutney. Staff were nice and plenty of seating and great lighting.

Gina H.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious samosa chaat. I don't think I will be able to pass by without getting it now. Nice lady assisted me and the dining area Was spotless.

Alex S.

Yelp
Ordered delivery, and the food did not disappoint. The food was packaged nicely, and there was no spillage at all. We had a number of sandwiches and egg dishes, and they all were unique. I would say the normal indian spicy is Very Spicy. I am pretty sure we selected everything to be mild but maybe one dish we forgot to select mild and maybe defaulted to normal indian spicy, and it was quite strong. Overall a great experience.

Yelp
Definitely a must place to eat at! Located next to a large shopping plaza in chantilly (Lotte is next to it) this place features Indian street food and does an amazing job at it! I love getting their sandwiches and it's a one of a kind! Paired with chips and some sauces this is my go to meal here. I also enjoy the mango lassi here so definitely recommend! Menu here has alot of variety so definitely something for everyone. Service here is great -- you order at the counter and pick a seating of dining in. They will bring out the food to your table and the wait usually is not long depending on how busy they are here.

Jay P.

Yelp
By far one of the best Indian Street Food cafes in Northern Virginia! I ordered the Amdavadi Touch sandwich and it was zesty, spicy, filling and delicious; the bread was light, too. They have many vegetarian options and seem to be able to customize if requested. Yes, the place (floors) could be cleaner and the ambiance enhanced with some music, but that aside, it was amazing! I will return. 4.5/5

Yelp
I looove Indian food and all I can say about this place is Authentic and delicious! They have a variety of egg centered street food dishes (their speciality) and of course mouthwatering curries. This gave me the perfect fix for my craving, I was thoroughly impressed! Everything that my friend and I tried on the menu was so flavorful, fresh and tasted really good! I love spicy food but I know not everyone can handle it so I love how you can choose your heat flavor for some of their menu items. Each entree came with naan bread and we got a side of rice. These are some of the things we had from the menu. Chicken Butter Masala Boneless chicken cooked in a creamy onion-based gravy Chicken Kadai Boneless chicken cooked in a creamy gravy with onions & peppers Surti Gotalo Shredded hard boiled eggs mixed with sunny side up in our special house spices Drinks: Mango Lassi Desi Chai The entree portion sizes were pretty big, we had enough to take home and enjoy for dinner as well. The food comes in plastic containers which have lids incase you don't finish the food but in the restaurant for dine in they offer paper plates for easy disposal. The staff was accommodating as they explained each of the menu items to us very clearly and also suggested great drinks. The restaurant does have seating they have a few booths and also tables for two. I'm not sure if they have restrooms as I didn't go to the back. They are located in a shopping plaza so there is a lot of free parking available. I would definitely go back!

Yelp
Quick stop for lunch. Amazing tasty unique sandwich. Crisp veggies separated by bread from the contrasting masala chicken. Sweet hot sauce and some kettle potato chips on the side. Can't miss with this gem. Colorful interior that is inviting but not upscale for a strip mall joint. Quick counter service and some imported Indian beverages. We tried a few, not to our taste but unique for sure. Employees were helpful with making smart choices. Home run!

Yelp
I'm not a fan of eggs, so it's funny that I decided to go to a place call eggholic... but there were more than just egg on the menu! I ended up with the Holic Chicken Kabob with Rice and it was delicious. The chicken was juicy and seasoning was perfect. I'd go just for this dish alone.

Khan S.

Yelp
A must-visit spot! Situated next to a large shopping plaza in Chantilly and next to Lotte. Eggholic excels at Indian street food and trying their best to keep up with the "Street Food" reputation Their sandwiches are unique and delicious, especially when paired with chips and their tasty sauces. I also recommend trying the mango lassi--it's a standout! With a diverse menu, there's something for everyone. Def. recommend it !!!

Yelp
Eggholic is a great place to meetup with your friends for a casual hangout and good food. They have a variety of authentic egg based street-style dishes where you can customize the spiciness level. They also have a great rewards program for first time customers where you can get $10 off a $20 order if you download the app. The menu has a wide variety of options for eggtarians, non-veg, and vegetarians. The medium spicy was the perfect amount of flavor for me. I ordered the anda masala sandwich and my friend ordered the anda pulao with raita. We shared the cheese katori too! The sandwich was a triple decker, balanced well with vegetables and came with a side of chips and maggi ketchup. The flavor and portion was phenomenal, especially for the price. Additionally, the ambiance inside was really nice. There's plenty of seating and it's aesthetic for pictures and is definitely somewhere I would take my parents for a casual lunch out. The wait staff was very nice + competent as well. They brought stuff out straight to our table after we ordered at the kiosk.

Yelp
Came here on Christmas Day and they were open! Reservations? Nope we just walked in groups? Yes there's lots of tables and we came in with a group of 6 and could easily fit Vegetarian friendly? Yes very - Lots of good options

Ramya R.

Yelp
This restaurant serves delightful varieties of egg-based street food-style sandwiches, fried rice, and curries that will tantalize your taste buds. The egg dishes are their specialty, but you can also savor their flavorful paneer and chicken options. If you're seeking an authentic Indian street food experience, don't hesitate to request a high spice level. Mango mastani was a perfect sweet finale to the meal, soothing my palate after an explosion of flavors. The restaurant's friendly and efficient service, coupled with its clean and hygienic ambiance, further enhanced the dining experience.

Pat T.

Yelp
5 for the sandwiches, they are sooo good! Buttery and crispy, yet soft and fluffy at the same time. I've been here several times and have tried a variety of items on their menu. I like how Eggholic has dishes that you don't often find at an Indian restaurant, because they are more focused on street foods. I will say that many of the items do have quite a kick. Not for the faint of heart but that's what adds all the flavor! I do believe you can request that they adjust the spice if your tolerance is lower.

Vibha M.

Yelp
Eggholic is definitely one of the few places you can get good Indian food in northern Virginia. The new owner Gary is incredibly nice and cares very much about his customers. My kids were in the car and he was nice enough to bring my takeout order to my car so I didn't have to get them out in the cold. The food is spicy and amazing!

Princess P.

Yelp
Was so excited to try this place out! Don't get me wrong - the food is very good. However, my issue is with the prices and serving sizes for the chicken dishes! I ordered the chicken butter masala because I wanted something simple and filling. I really thought I would get more chicken than 6 golfball sized pieces. I checked online and it seems like all of the chicken dishes are like this. I paid like $16 for this too! Insane for such little chicken. It was good and I enjoyed it a lot. I'm just upset that I feel like I was ripped off. I hope to return at some point to try the sandwiches that everyone seems to like and get more bang for my buck.

Yelp
Tried this restaurant for the first time today with my husband, being a couple of the first customers for the day as we got there early. All I can say is this food is AMAZING! and the service provided by Gary the general manager and chef was outstanding and kind. We were lucky enough to have been served by him as well. We didn't know what to try as this was our first time, so Gary suggested (based on my want to try something on the egg menu; they have a chicken and vegetarian menu as well) the Anda Masala egg sandwich, and let me tell you that this was the tastiest sandwich I've had in awhile. It's a sandwich with boiled egg pieces mixed in with Indian spices with cheese, tomato, green pepper, onion and mayo. This sandwich has the perfect balance/ratio of ingredients so that you taste everything without any one ingredient overwhelming another. Culinary perfection! We also tried an order of the samosas which came out warm and were perfectly crispy and soft at the same time. They were bursting with flavor! My husband tried the Desi omelette, which looked so simple but tasted wonderful! Even the white bread that came with it was flavorful. We also tried the Dahi-Puri--puffed wafers with chickpeas, potatoes, onion and filled to the top with yogurt and spices. I had the Rajwadi Lassi for a drink, which is a yogurt based drink with vanilla ice cream and a red syrup with almonds. I would liken it to a yogurt parfait but done much better! The food portions were big enough for two even though they were meals for one, and I have leftovers for tomorrow. I would say the price was definitely affordable, especially since the sandwich was more like two! I've never had Indian street food before but I love that we stopped by, and I will definitely be coming back time and time again! Try this place, the amazing food and service from Gary and his team will make you return, you won't regret it!

Yelp
One of my favorite restaurants. They had one in Chicago when i lived there and i was so excited to see one in Virginia after moving here. My partner had the paneer masala sandwich and I have the malvani burji. The food is sooo good. The ambiance is great and the food comes out so quickly. Highly recommend.

Raj S.

Yelp
I rarely give a 5 star ... I give it based on 3 factors - food , service and ambience .. in all of these - eggholic exceeds expectations.. service was good .. we sat outside and the guys were good servicing us outside . Indoor seating was good too.. was crowded .. Food was awesome : we have already had food in eggholic Edison.... So we knew the quality ... chicken Kebob was exceptional . Really good . Masala egg fry was good . The menu was almost similar to "egg mania" in Edison. Everything we had was good . Parking is also good . Overall loved the experience ...

Yelp
I had a solid experience at EggHolic in Chantilly, VA! The menu at EggHolic is solid, offering a wide range of options that cater to many palates. Whether you're a breakfast aficionado or just looking for a satisfying brunch, this place has it all. My friends and I ordered a couple of Sandwiches: Amdavadi Touch, Paneer Masala dish, and Anda Masala. I am very happy to report it was a taste bud explosion! Every bite was like a straight fireeeeee as all the simple but fun flavors danced on my palate. But are really heavy meals so make sure to come hungry! The service was solid but could have been better. The staff could be more attentive, and more knowledgeable about the menu. I had asked a question about the sandwich but gave me the wrong info. It's clear that the team at EggHolic Is good at what they do but there is a gap they need to cover to be above and beyond. I did appreciate the cozy and inviting ambiance of the restaurant. It's a great place to chill, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a quiet meal on your own. And the music they played was perfect (very fun and lively)! EggHolic is slowly becoming my go-to sandwich spot for Breakfast & Lunch. If you're in the Chantilly area and looking for a memorable adventure, don't miss out on the egg-citing delights that EggHolic has to offer! I really wanted to give the spot a 5 but the service needs to be a little better before getting a 5 from me!

Priscilla T.

Yelp
Excellent place for fast casual Indian food! It's clean, modern, and cute inside. I ordered take-out which was easy and quick. You even get $10 off your first order ($20+)! I LOVED the Chicken Masala sandwich. It was the perfect balance between the chicken and refreshing yogurt/tomato/cucumber. The bread was crunchy and fluffy. And it came with Lays potato chips! I also really enjoyed the Paneer Lajavab (mint-based curry). The paneer was shredded which was a subtle and nice, and the flavors were amazing! We order 3 roti with it which was just ok and also definitely not enough to complement the paneer lajvab.

Christine H.

Yelp
My second time around here and I had a much better experience. I tried some other dishes that I enjoyed so I updated my review. There is a lot of flavor in the food and a wonderful blend of spices in each bite. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Jazlene G.

Yelp
I don't eat indian food often, so this was a change and a relatively delicious experience! The vibes were casual and chill ~ cafeteria-style. Their service was really friendly and quick, we asked for their recommendations to order, and all turned out really good! We got the cheese katori, chatpata anda egg grill sandwiches, paneer butter masala with roti, mango mastani, and vada pav. There wasn't anyone inside when we walked in, but a few moments while we were eating, the place was filled! They have a pretty vast menu, halal, vegan, and vegetarian-friendly ~ and we highly recommend trying one of their grilled sandwiches, puri, and mango drinks. Definitely will be back!

Kay P.

Yelp
A local quick and easy place to eat some Indian street food! The restaurant gives off a higher end fast food chain vibe. Service is extremely quick and self served (you can find utensils, water etc on your own for your own). Food is brought out as soon as it's freshly made! I tried the two piece samosas - crunchy but super dry; but it did come with sauce! I also got the Amdavadi Touch sandwiches! Loved the flavor and the bread was super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside; my only concern was the amount of mayo - way too much. Also tried the Chicken Masala Sanwhich - which was also really good! Their Surti Gotalo was delicious with bread, chips, and or the roti! Definitely on the heavier side but was yummy nonetheless! Overall, enjoyed the food here - 7/10 in general! Their crisps were extremely crunchy in texture and not too salty.

Nikita D.

Yelp
If you're looking for an introduction to Indian street food then Eggholic is the place to go! They have a wide variety of dishes and add they're own spin to traditional Indian street food. You place your order at the counter and the food is brought out to the table as it gets ready. We didn't have to wait more than a few minutes for our food. We ordered the chicken masala sandwiches, bhel, and the mango mastani. The chicken masala sandwich was portioned generously and full of flavor without being too spicy. The bhel was delicious as well though it was heavy on the tamarind sauce. The mango mastani was the only item I wasn't a huge fan of, though it is still good. It had too much mango concentrate and not enough ice cream mixed in however, the almonds added a nice crunch. Overall, Eggholic is a great fast casual Indian restaurant and would definitely return to try other items.

Sharad S.

Yelp
This afernoon on 12/17/24 @ about 1:30pm we (4 of us) finished our Lunch. Food preparation was AVERAGE as compared to earlier at the same location. We asked for 4-boxe/containers to bring home remaining food for each of us. The "Manager at the Counter" PLAINLY REFUSED TO GIVE MORE THAN ONE disposable box instead of ONE FOR EACH. When asked, he said, "he can only give only one box". He expected us to carry our food together - no respect to separation for each of our 1/2 eaten food. He refused even to give me Owner's Contact Info. for lodging a complaint. In Indian Language - we were asked to eat "Zootha" Food of all of us.

Kathy T.

Yelp
The first time I visited this place was from a yelp elite event and I knew I had to come back! I got the chicken masala sandwich and it was delicious! Flavorful sandwich with melty cheese...yum!!! I also got the sweet lassi and it was a nice refreshing yogurt drink. Will most definitely come back to try the other dishes. Service was friendly and the inside felt very clean and modern.

Marin F.

Yelp
went here after getting rejected from semi colon because they stop serving egg toast at 730p (not anywhere on their menu). so my friends and i were looking to replace that egg toast feeling and of course what place to go to than this place called egg holic. looked at pictures on google and this was nothing like we expected. the menu was pretty confusing to decipher but the cashier helped us out and we got the number 1 and 2 he recommended. definitely needed more rice as 5 bites into the meal i was just eating sauce over and over again. overall, i would try something else on their menu maybe their wraps but it is not that good as the pita bread and rice they offer you is way out ratio compared to all the sauce that you get. their mango lassi was tasty though

Shweta S.

Yelp
We ordered to go. It's a small place for a sit down. The server was nice, and will help you figure out the spice level. Food: Amdavadi Sandwich - It's a three layered grilled sandwich with mashed potatoes and veggie masala and lots of yummy gooey cheese. Really liked it Surati Gotala - Creamy, buttery gravy of egg and it comes with an omlette or sunny side up with grated egg on top, comes with roti or white bread. Pretty decent. Definitely an option if you want to keep it on the lighter side. Will come back to try other things

Swapna Y.

Yelp
We were able to get our food very quickly which was great because we were hungry. The space was really clean and had both indoor and outdoor seating. It was a casual pick up spot but they brought the food to us when we were waiting outside. We ordered the samosa which were really good. We ordered the cheese katiori. The texture was good, but it was lacking in some level of flavor..maybe a bit more spice would be good. The chapata anad was flavorful and enjoyable. The dahi puri was perfect. It had the perfect balance of everything. Our server Vinod was really friendly and patiently explained things when we had questions about the food he brought out. I would def. go back and try some of the other options.

Yelp
5/5! Absolutely loved it here! Upon arriving, we were met with the manager here and he was incredibly welcoming and nice. He gave us a quick run down of the menu and helped us decide what we should go for. The Food: After browsing the menu and wanting to just try everything, I ended up getting the lunch special. Which for me, included an appetizer, half sandwich and an entree. I chose the Samosa, Chicken Masala Half Sandwich and the Egg Bhurji as my entree. The Samosa was good, flavor was good and the amount of crunch from the bite was perfect. The Chicken Masala Sandwich was absolutely amazing. The filling was just so light and tasteful and the toasted bread helped so much. The Egg Bhurji was absolutely delicious as well! Had a bit of a kick, but was very enjoyable! The Service: Service was incredible. The manager was incredibly nice to us after meeting him. After explaining the menu, he gave his recommendations and it was spot on. Food came out in a timely manner as well. The Atmosphere: The restaurant was nicely decorated. Plenty of seating and was clean. Overall, a 5/5! Highly recommend giving this place a try. It's quite different from the typical food spots around here. So it is a very nice change. I'll be back for sure!

Christina D.

Yelp
The sandwiches here are amazing!!! Seriously so flavorful and unique. I was a little hesitant with it being egg based for most of it, but boy does it work. I got the Anda Masala and that was delicious. I cannot wait to try the other sandwiches here! It does take a while to get your food (I ordered to go), so keep that in mind. I believe they make it fresh!

Hailey L.

Yelp
I saw this place with a wonderful rating on Yelp and decided to try it on Friday. I tried their two popular sandwiches on menus. They have two options (either 4 white bread or 2 roti) for any sandwiches. Be wary that even if you order from sandwiches, some come out with a curry in one plate and roti on the side (although photos on menu are four slices of sandwiches). The very first photo of Surti Gotalo on Yelp photo really got me because if you scroll more, it is actually the one with curry, not the sandwiches. Servers were not good at explaining menu, so I didn't know ordering roti instead of white bread would look so different from photos. However flavors were pretty good, and speed of service was fair too. It is a place where you order at the register and they take your plate to the table, so it is a great place if you look for a place where you can have uninterrupted conversation or don't want to be limited in time. It is spacious inside and parking lot.

Saniya S.

Yelp
Decided to visit the Chantilly location after I had been to the Edison, NJ one a few weeks ago, and I think both locations were a bit different from each other. I got the Veg Cheese Grill sandwich, and my friend got the Paneer Toofani. We also got the Rajwadi lassi. I loved my sandwich, it was simple but the sauces were great with the veggies. It reminded me of a Bombay Sandwich. My friend said his sandwich was also amazing, he devoured it so quickly. The Rajwadi lassi was good, but I think it tasted better when I got it from Edison. The yogurt was a little sour in my opinion and they added a pretty big scoop of ice cream. While I do like my lassi not that sweet, I thought this version of it was pushing it. My friend didn't like it too much, but that's because he likes his lassi tasting like sugar. I thought the service was a little slow too but I won't fault them for it. I went on a weekday in the evening, but they only had one person taking orders. He was also helping out with the kitchen so we saw a few people leaving before placing their orders. The interior of this location was almost the same as the Edison location, but definitely a plus since they were playing the cricket game :)

Yelp
Fabulous restaurant with amazing service. Gary taught us how to eat pani puri which is my new favorite dish.

Yelp
4 stars for the lava pulav only because of how greasy it was but the flavors were amazing The amdavadi touch was bland and more of a mayonnaise touch sandwich. A definite skip Super busy ambiance as expected but our order was ready on time so service was prompt.

Yelp
Very flavorful and delicious food! Great concept! We got our lunch (Chatpata Anda, Paneer Butter Masala, and a mango lassi) to go and a random passerby asked where we got it because it smelled so good

Yelp
Eggholic is a convenient, up-and-coming *innovative* Indian food place in the Chantilly area, next to the Lotte Plaza I've visited before. I came here with family and we stopped by here after quite a long day. The person who took our order, Vinodh, was very friendly and helpful in offering suggestions off the menu. He recommended Anda Masala as a "must have" sandwich and dish worth trying, which totally hit the nail on the head. Items ordered: - Anda Masala -- Eggs and veggies (tomato, lettuce) - Surti Gotalo -- sunny side up mixed /w curry - Samosa Chaat -- /w yogurt and sweet sauce - Mango Mastani -- mango- and yogurt- drink, similar to Lassi All food was great, and can't find a negative aspect to bring up. I had Anda Masala, and as promised it was the best dish of the lot. I am non-vegetarian (I eat meat) so it was nice that my dish had egg at least. It was well executed. Sampled a bit of other dishes. Surtí was nice with runny yolk and spicy curry. Chaat was very much on sweetish side with yogurt and sweet tangy sauce. Mastani (drink) was tad too sweet for me, so shared /w another. All in all, great food, creative flavors and interesting dishes all around, and well executed. Special shout-out to my man, Vinodh -- hailing from the land of Andra Pradesh, whose general manager is Gary -- for his spot-on suggestions which were very helpful and much appreciated. My only fear, is this place will turn me into an Eggholic eventually!

Yelp
This place is dynamite. Coming here after shopping at the Lotte next door is always great. I feel that the name, Eggholic, is a misnomer for me because I don't order egg-centered dishes (unless you count mayonnaise in a sandwich). Eggholic has some of the best vegetarian sandwich options in the NOVA area. While I do eat meat and this place has halal options (which is amazing), I intentionally go for the vegetarian options because they are that good! Everything is fresh and hot! We ordered the Paneer Masala and Amdavadi Touch Sandwiches- both of which were really delicious (though I prefer the paneer masala a bit more). As a Desi, I will say everything is seasoned to perfection. We also got the Rajwadi lassi, a yogurt drink with nuts and what I believe is Rooh-Afza- a really great dessert to round up our meal! At a previous visit, I ordered chai and mango lassi (and they also were great). The vibe here is good- bright and nice. Friendly staff, with solid food recommendations. Looking forward to coming back!

Yelp
Got their Holic Chicken and Rice, Chicken Marsala Wrap, Paneer Tikka Wrap, and Samosas. A lot of the items were well spiced and had a good flavor to them. The chicken came in large chunks and were very juicy. The paneer wrap was probably my favorite with a super flakey and buttery wrap. The employees were nice and helpful as well.

Yelp
TL;DR: Great twist on Indian food. Bold flavors, very tasty, and decent portions/price point! Great intro into Indian food Stopped by here for lunch on a Saturday; it's a fast casual spot where you order and pay, then they bring it out to your table as it's ready. The employees are helpful and make good recommendations. The space is nice and clean with lots of seating available. My husband was not the biggest fan of Indian food due to some past experiences, but this place has fully changed his mind! The food was so flavorful, tender, and overall great! FOOD: ~Samosa Chaat (4/5): Almost tasted like an Indian BBQ sauce. It comes cold, so just know it isn't a hot dish. The samosas were still crispy, and the toppings were so fresh ~Chicken Tikka Wrap (3/5): the wrap part was so tasty! The chicken was more ground up/shredded, and portion was a little small, but overall tasty ~Chicken Kadai (3.5/5): chicken was so tender; gravy was so bold in flavor. Had a nice kick to it. Comes with Roti ~Jeera Rice (4/5): Huge portion! I wanted some rice on top of the roti for the chicken kadai. Was so good. Really great, whether you want a slow roll into trying Indian food or already a lover of it! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
This has now become a regular lunch spot for us at work. We always do carryout and never had a problem until now. We all ordered through their app and received confirmation. Our volunteer pickup person get there at the provided pickup time and only 2 of 5 was ready. Then he waits another 15 mins and come to find out, they didn't even start on his every own order and said it'll be another 30 mins. He says he can't wait any longer and they wouldn't even give him a refund! Said he has to complain online. And the description of the chicken curry says it comes with rice and roti but that is also not true. It's actually rice OR roti...annoying to get a container of curry and two baby rotis thinking it comes with rice. Food wise they would get 5 stars because it is tasty and fresh. 2 stars off for poor customer service and misleading description.

Yelp
A small group of us came here for lunch on a weekday and based on the great reviews and tasty food we had, we were surprised to see only a few other customers there during the hour and a half we were there. Service was decent... not great, but acceptable. The menu is VERY interesting and unique... so many items on the menu, the majority I've never even heard of and I've been to various Middle Eastern countries and enjoyed many styles of street food. The majority of their menu is Indian Street Food that is centered around veggies and/or eggs. Everything we had was eggscelent! A fav was their chicken masala sandwich. The items on the menu that have the red pepper logo next to them are legitimately spicy, but not too hot. I highly recommend stopping in!!

Yelp
Really loved my visit here! Everything we ate was delicious and so unique. I definitely think they lend themselves better to a lunch spot vs a dinner spot (the sandwiches are very tasty but I don't generally want to have a sandwich for dinner. Everyone was super friendly and the food came out very quickly! We started with the Dahi Puri (Puffed wafers stuffed with chickpeas, potato & onions; served with yogurt) which were super flavorful. Next we split a few of the sandwiches, although the chicken masala sandwich was the tastiest in my opinion. Looking forward to them opening their DC location!

Yelp
Eggcellent! Decided to try this place out randomly while in the plaza and so glad I did! I've only had Indian food a few times so I was not sure what to expect. The menu was a little difficult to navigate since I wasn't too sure what each dish was. Therefore, I decided to go basic and get the Butter Chicken! It was super flavorful and came out pipping hot. The spice level was great and not too overwhelming. The only complaint I would have was there was not enough chicken pieces. I did take the left over sauce home and added more chicken to it. Overall, I am glad I tried this place out!

Yelp
I remember when this place was being built and have been meaning to try it when it opened. It's a fantastic place for delicious food, the inside is very nice and clean. The aroma of food just makes you want to try everything. The guy workin the front was very kind and helpful as he provided us recommendations.

Yelp
This place had had their "coming soon" banner up for so long that I actually gave up on them ever opening up. I did some online research earlier this year, and they had pretty good reviews from other locations in Chicago and they seemed to be expanding to several new locations this year, so I kinda hyped myself even before they opened up. Eventually, when we did make it to the place - we liked it. Now there are some menu items that are amazing and others that I did not enjoy at all. But because I keep coming back to this place for the items I do love, I will give them the 5 stars. In all honesty - those 5 stars are really for the amdavadi touch sandwich. It's literally the best thing that happened to me all year, haha! It's filled with potatoes and a amul cheese and omg bursting with flavor. It's spicy and tangy and my mouth waters every time I think about it. If you haven't tried it yet - RUN, don't walk to get it! Now that I have that out of the way - other things I liked/ don't mind getting again are the dahi puri, paneer masala sandwich, samosa wrap and the chatpata chicken wrap. All these items are decent. The chatpata chicken is actually delicious too. Things we did not enjoy - the holic chicken. I did not understand this dish at all. It came highly recommended by the person ringing us up. But honestly - the very dry chicken with weird tasting rice and a watery chutney did not cut it for me. I have also been sorely disappointed with all of their curries - chicken, egg and paneer alike. First off, most of them tasted like the masala wasn't cooked enough. Then the ratio of bread and/ or roti to the curry itself was massively weird. You likely needed like 5 pieces of roti to finish the plate of curry. Their curries come served in soggy disposable plates (not bowls), which blows my mind - kinda impossible to eat. Finally, the taste itself has not been mind blowing. None of the curries gave me a reason to try them again. So for me, I will stick with the Amdavadi Touch Sandwich and the Chatpata Chicken wrap. But I like these so much - I don't mind the 5 stars - I really do hope this place sticks around, we could use better casual indian food around the area.

Yelp
I love trying Indian vegetarian food and have eaten at many a Desi restaurant. However, I will admit that the dishes I tried today were entirely new to me. The Dani puri was pretty great - crunchy, creamy and spicy! The butter paneer simply wasn't what I expected so I wouldn't get it again. The surti gotala was completely new to me and it was pretty good but I would have liked some more acid or freshness (herbs perhaps? I would be interested in a sampler of their most popular dishes.
