I walked by this place after church, this is easily the best egg sandwich I've ever had in my entire life. It is located in downtown, parking may be an issue but if you find parking it's absolutely worth it. Is incredibly reasonably priced. This sandwich can eaibe 20$ and it's only 10.00. God bless it. It has indoor and outdoor seating. It's a beautiful place to people watch and have brunch. Insane, my new favorite spot. I can't wait to take my son here.

Google
9.4/10 California breakfast sandwich Honestly one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. The flavors really jump out at you. Pillow bread. Eggs flavor was paired perfect with the taste of the sausage, cheese, and aoli My only critique is the saltiness of the sausage but that's nitpicking. The Vanilla cold brew was also great. Nice subtle hint of vanilla. Not too bitter. Not too sweet. Great spot. Would absolutely recommend

I enjoyed my chicken sandwich "what came first?" ($10) + Combo hash brown and bottomless drip coffee (+$4). Menu and decor are fun, service from a young guy was pretty good. The place is really tiny though, with 5 counter chairs and a small bench (with no table) outside. I went with a baby in a stroller and a toddler, so it was a bit hard to eat there. Would get to-do next time, but then I won't get my much needed bottomless drip coffee! ☕

Google
The egg sandwich is high quality. I loved it, The sausage is very tasty and different, prices are normal for SD.

Google
The average wait time is 25 to 30 minutes but my food was ready beforehand. Customer service was non-existent that day but I came for the breakfast. The sandwich was really good the only thing that ruined it for me was a sausage was sweet. I wasn't prepared for that but overall it was a good breakfast and I really enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange juice.

Wow, what an incredible spot! The classic sandwich is an absolute game-changer—it's simply out of this world! And the service? Absolutely fantastic! Jason is so warm and welcoming, going above and beyond with his hospitality. You can bet that I’ll be back for more! 👍

Google
My first time here & it was DELICIOUS Incredibly filling & the overall aesthetic is so cute. I love the jars, I got both the hash & the French toast & it was soo tasty! Drove about 20 minutes to get back to my house & it was all still hot & the "What Came First?" Sandwich was still crispy! The worker there was welcoming & friendly, will definitely be going back to try their other sandwiches! French toast jar: the granola on top was delicious & the strawberries seemed fresh & were nicely cut. Potato Hash jar: so delicious, beautifully cooked bacon. What Came First sandwich: super crispy fried chicken, perfectly tangy pickles. The eggscelent sauce is the perfect spiciness. BLT: the bottom bun was soggy (but as I said I drove home first) but of course it had tomatoes so if makes sense. Really, really tasty, the sausage patty was super flavorful! I'll add more to this review if I try more 😋

Yelp
Whoever the gentleman is who operates this location should get a raise. His CUSTOMER SERVICE skills are super and he genuinely seems like he cares about the product and the customer. I don't write menu reviews, but someone who comes from a family of small business owners. I know the importance of customer service and like to give kudos to those we're doing a great job. The gentleman is a little on the thinner side and I wasn't able to catch his name, but I hope he sees this. Oh, and my egg sandwich was the bomb, hash brown on the side! There is street parking in front, which is clutch

Yelp
recently discovered this place and wow, now i wish they had a rewards program since I come here a lot! I always order the Eggies Classic with scrambled eggs option and this sandwich never disappoints. Must try the hash browns too which give me nostalgia to my childhood fast-food breakfast days .. With so many breakfast options in the immediate area, it is nice to have a breakfast sandwich exclusive place that is consistent every time. Be sure to order from their website for a quick pickup!

Yelp
Stopped by Eggies while staying in the Pacific Beach area for a weekend trip. We weren't impressed by a lot of the restaurants close to the beach and Eggies looked the best on Yelp. Glad we took the short walk from the beach because the breakfast sandwiches were delicious. The What Came First sandwich had fried chicken and an egg. It was a bit messy but good. The potato hash jar was alright. We didn't finish it but treated it more as a side anyway.

Yelp
Service was a bit slow, felt like we waited a long time standing for our order even though it wasn't busy but that's okay because the sandwiches are bommbbbb. Perfectly buttery, crispy bun, the bacon was crisp to perfection and crumbles in your mouth, the egg is gooey and the cheese is melted. I smashed the whole thing and it filled me right up. Perfect breakfast sandwich.

Yelp
I'm not a sandwich person by any means but when I tell you this sandwiches SMACK, I'm serious! I got the California and What Came First? on different days, because I couldn't stop thinking about it. What Came First? comes with fried chicken topped with an over medium egg and pickles. It was very delicious but I preferred the California. It comes with a turkey patty that has cheese and something spicy in it. It's topped with an over medium egg, tomato jam, bacon, and arugula. The spice, the sweetness, the tart--literal perfection! I got the combo and it comes with a hash brown and a coffee. You can upgrade for fresh orange juice instead. Overall, it was a very filling meal. It's located in the Gaslamp Quarter so parking is difficult. It seems like most people typically order to go because they only have a small eating area with four seats. However, they're very efficient and I love that they collaborate with the restaurant next door. Bella, our server, is extremely kind and was so sweet. Also, their decor and containers are so cute! I had to grab an extra coffee to bring home for my son to continue learning about emotions.

Yelp
I have gotten food here twice. First time I got a egg sausage sandwich and the meat was so pink but I thought whatever I'll try it again... Second time I ordered a different sandwich with sausage and the meat was pink again??? Pretty annoying because both times it grossed me out and was just a waste of money.

Yelp
Stopped by this place for a quick breakfast during the New Years holiday. The line was short and a short menu made it easier to choose. There are limited seats inside (5 seats and 2 tables) so it is best to take it to go. The food was good, really good, but it was spicy, be prepared for it. I wish there was a sign on the menu line warning about it because personally, if I knew that the California __ has spice in its meat, I would have ordered something else instead.  Their orange juice is fresh: I saw the oranges being put into a machine that peals and squeezes them. It tasted nice and not too sweet.  I really loved how cute their cups/napkins are as well as the interior design of the cafe.

Yelp
Despite the long lines and waiting times, it makes up for the queue inside the restaurant to eat so it's not so bad after all. Wait times were about 20-30 minutes for 2 sandwiches, but by the time the people inside are done eating, order is ready and seats are available inside to take. (about 3 chairs only inside to dine-in) I came here for a quick breakfast with a friend and ordered 2 egg sammies from the menu. Cute and hilarious branding! Menu was straightforward. However, wasn't a fan of the orange juice though (too tart, perhaps bad choice of oranges that morning) And coffee was okay. Was a great experience. Would come by again if it were not for the weird cramped seating arrangement, perhaps a quick grab and go might do in a pinch.

Yelp
Very disappointed with Eggies. I have been to other locations and haven't had this experience but today was unacceptable. We ordered and were the only ones there at 9am. The woman took our order (Californian cut in half and a hash brown). We sat on the benches and patiently waited. 15 mins later my husband looks by the register and our breakfast sandwich was just sitting there for who knows how long. The woman who took our order was no where to be found. We didn't know for sure if it was ours, so we waited another 5 mins and she still didn't come back. At this point my husband was tempted to reach over the counter and grab it, but being the rule follower I am I told him not to. The cook, who was alone, had to come out and my husband asked him if that was our order. It was. So he kindly handed it to us. It has been sitting there for over 10 mins. So when we got it it was cold, but there was no one to complain to as the woman STILL had not returned. The line to order was 8 people long and getting very impatient. In terms of quality, the sandwich has also sadly gone down hill. It's so much smaller now and meat doesn't taste as good. Hopefully it's just this location because I used to love their sandwiches.

Yelp
Delicious! We were looking for a quick breakfast option in the Gaslamp and Eggies was the perfect spot. Their menu basically consists of breakfast sandwiches, although they do have a few non sandwich options as well. I ordered the California and it was excellent (or egg-cellent). Service was super friendly, and there was no line when we visited so we didn't have to wait long for our food. There is limited seating inside/outside which I recommend taking advantage of if you planning on eating your food right away because the sandwiches, while yummy, are on the messy side and a little difficult to eat on the go. Overall I loved Eggies and will definitely visit again the next time I'm in San Diego.

Yelp
The perfect spot for a indulgent breakfast when you're craving something a little "bad" for you. The service is reasonably quick, and the decor adds a fun, unique vibe. A solid choice when you need a fast and satisfying breakfast option.

Yelp
Solid choice for quick and inexpensive breakfast sandwiches. I wouldn't order the hash brown jar. It wasn't very good. Orange juice was definitely fresh squeezed and refreshing

Yelp
Went to grab a quick breakfast sando before a day at the zoo. It's a very small shop, I think there were only 4 or 5 stools to sit and eat inside. Otherwise they have a huge window they keep open you can order through from the outside. While it filled us up and fueled us for our morning, I felt the selection was lacking with majority of sandwiches having sausage in it and me not being too into sausage. I ordered the BLT which tasted pretty herby honestly. My boyfriend got the What Came First? which he enjoyed. The fresh squeezed OJ was delish but it was room temperature. We also shared a hash brown which I think was bomb but tasted like a thicker juicier crispier McDonalds hash brown (which I love McDs hash browns, so I was really loving it). The young staff was very efficient and professional but still friendly. They also estimated our food to be done in 10-15mins from when we ordered, but I don't even think we waited more than 8mins so it was pretty quick. Personally would love to see a sandwich that had bacon as a main protein rather than so many sausage-centered options.

Yelp
Foods really good but I'm more concerned with the hygiene at this place. I didn't notice this until after I ate my food and was waiting on a friend to finish. I watched the guy taking orders touching the food and piecing the sandwiches together with his bare hands and then came out took an order, touched the iPad, handled cash and then went back to making sandwiches without a single wash. I observed this on 3 different sandwiches as I sat there. Wow disgusting. I'm going to need this to be fixed before I return to eat here because that's gross.

Yelp
Ordered the what came first(fried chicken and egg sandwich) on doordash, food was delivered fairly quickly and it was fresh and the chicken was flavourful and the sandwich was not soggy at all, will try it in person next time!
google avatar

Marissa P.

Yelp
Been wanting to try this place for a while. I wish the storefront was a little bigger because there's only 5 seats inside. So it's cool for an intimate setting but don't expect to eat here if you come with more than 2 people in your group. Service was ok with whoever was working not really knowing what coffee came in the combo. And then he went missing for quite some time and a big line built up but there was no staff in the front to help. However, food wise... 10/10. I got the California and it did not disappoint! The sandwich is fair for the price and the flavors were soooo good.

Yelp
Fun little breakfast sandwich spot I surprised my gf with for her birthday lunch! Breakfast sandwiches are one of her favorite foods so we had to come. Food: Small menu which I like and everything we got was delicious. Shared the Eggies Classic sandwich and the What Came First sandwich. Highly recommend both but personally preferred the classic overall, can't go wrong with sausage egg cheese and bacon! Also got the Potato Hash Jar which was great but even better if you add hot sauce. You get to keep the jar too and if you bring it back you apparently get a dollar off for your next one. Service: You order at the register and you pick it up at the counter. It was Tuesday lunchtime so it was just me and my gf inside. Got our food super fast and the staff we talked to were all really nice. Ambiance: The place itself is really small but vibe and merch they sell is fun. All barstool seating inside but we figure people mainly take it to-go. It also was pretty warm sitting inside so not sure if it's like that all the time. Water: They had no water!! :((( But the manager(?) said that they are related to Breakfast Republic which is right next door and he went over himself and got us some which was nice! But they really should serve water.

Ariel C.

Yelp
If I could give this place, negative stars I would. Waited over an hour for two sandwiches that were wrong. I waited so long I did not even want to wait just to have it fixed. No regard for customer service. Just awful. Food was mediocre for the price and wait. Only 4 seats in the entire place. Would not recommend to anyone ever.

Yelp
Came here as we needed a filling breakfast but didn't have much time to sit down or wait anywhere. There isn't much parking so beware of that, and there's both an indoor and outdoor setting for this place. The menu isn't very expansive, but it has enough variety. Service was nice, as it is a to go spot, but he was patient with our large order. We all got combos as they came with hash brown and a drink. I got the nitro vanilla cold brew and everybody else got regular black coffee. The cold brew was good but a bit too sweet. The hashbrowns took forever to come out and by the time they came out, our sandwiches were cold. Not to mention, the hashbrowns were SOOO oily. Too oily. The chicken in our sandwiches was sooo thin and lacked flavor. My father in law got the hot dog and he said it also lacked flavor. I hate to give this place 3 stars as the cashier was very nice, but the food was just not good. I probably wouldn't come back.

Yelp
I came on a Saturday morning for takeout breakfast and hopefully to also grab a coffee all in one trip. To put it simply, the hash brown and the Eggies classic were the best two items I ordered. I got a combo which includes the hash brown and coffee of choice or freshly squeezed orange juice in which I upgraded and chose the Vanilla Cold Foam Brew. It was one of the weaker cold brews I've had so I wouldn't recommend this if you want a strong coffee. As I was sharing this meal, we ordered a Potato Hash Jar as well. You get a cute little mason like jar filled with potato, cheese, bacon, egg, and chives. A little overrated and plain to me as I think adding hot sauce or a condiment could have made it much better, which we did not know if they offered any. You do get charged another dollar for the jar, but if you're returning the jar you can get $1 credit for it which is a method to recycle their jars. Eggies is perfect for times where you want a casual breakfast or brunch without dining. Although there is room for seating, I would choose Eggies for a grab and go occasion. Their breakfast sandwiches and their hash browns are so addicting. I could easily eat a number of those. Hopefully they can come out with more coffee creations in the future!

Yelp
I was going to have eggs Benedict at breakfast republic but there was a 25 min wait and no spots at the bar. I decided to grab a quick egg sandwich right next door Eggies. I ordered the classic and it was so good! The sauce is amazing and the brioche bun gives great texture. Plus I didn't waste precious time while visiting San Diego for long weekend. I'll be back! Check out what's written on the box. Funny

Yelp
YUM. I thought this was such a fantastic find. I didn't realize Breakfast Republic had a little sister shop serving fantastic egg sandwiches. The original egg sandwich was so delicious. My favorite was the California version. Crunchy and Salty hashbrown pairs wonderfully. The hash in a cup is a must. We grabbed a family bag of goodies here before going down to watch the twins and play at the new playground near the children's museum. The family all thought it was a fabulous way to start the early morning. Service was great and fast.. they didn't have the chicken sandwich when we ordered, but we will be back to try again. Prices seem a little high but the quality and flavors make it worth. Definitely recommend and it's a great way to start a morning adventure downtown. Order online ahead and pick up for a quick start to your day!

Yelp
Fresh and made to order. Delicious and very filling!!! I had the classic. Staff was friendly.

Mike P.

Yelp
They need some customer service training. I walk up to order I say "good morning" guy working says "what's up man?"...I attempt to place my order then notice guy is now tapping on his iPad thinking he's putting my order in. I try order a coffee with that and he goes "hold on I'm placing this online order"... Then looks up and says "what was that?" Yeah let's prioritize placing online Yelp orders over people standing right in front of you. I was so blown away I just left.
google avatar

Amanda G.

Yelp
It's a cute little walk up window with 3 chairs inside to sit, but worth making the stop. They were out of their salted caramel cold brew and the strawberry creme brûlée (I wanted to try both), but still very much impressed with the quality and price. The eggie classic was super tasty and juicy (the yoke exploded). The flavor was perfect! The California was tasty because of the arugula and the creamy sauce combo. The potato hash was interesting because it was literally hash browns with an egg and bacon in a jar! It worked.
google avatar

Ameenah M.

Yelp
Came here Wednesday morning 9/6/23 for a quick breakfast pick up and from all of the pictures it was our best quick option. I previewed the menu before and knew my order prior to getting here. We ordered: the egg classic and the what came first. The egg classic had a beef patty in it and what came first it was a chicken patty. I enjoyed the egg classic more but they were both really good. I finished the meal with churros. I do want to say that the churros were not sweet at all so they were made for me lol Will definitely be back if we are looking for meals to go only.

Yelp
A Plant-Powered Haven: EGGIES Reviewed Allow me to regale you with my culinary escapade at EGGIES, a sanctuary for the discerning palate seeking plant-powered perfection. Delving into their vegan haven, the JustEgg creation seduced my taste buds with its delicate dance of flavors. However, while the vegan egg embraced me with its embrace, it left me yearning for a more robust portion. The plant-based chicken, though embodying potential, fell short of its juiciness promise. Complementing this brunch journey was an invigorating orange elixir and a hashbrown symphony that reverberated with texture and delight. Let us converse about the venue's atmosphere: a charming little nook, albeit somewhat cozy for the discerning diner. Thus, be prepared to bask in the sunlight on the bench or embark on a gastronomic odyssey to-go. Adding to the ambiance, the melodies created an auditory tapestry, elevating the dining experience. In the realm of service, an individual valiantly managed the helm, orchestrating an experience of acceptable pacing. The intriguing observation of a shared culinary domain, where neighboring culinary virtuosos coexist, unveiled itself as a charming quirk. As my gastronomic adventure unfurls, the allure of EGGIES beckons me for future endeavors, where an extra helping of that tantalizing vegan egg shall be savored. To the realm of plant-powered connoisseurs, I beckon you to join me on this odyssey, as we traverse the realms of taste and savor each culinary note. #EGGIESCulinaryVoyage #PlantPoweredGastronomy #JustEggEuphoria #VeganEpicureanAdventure #FlavorfulExploration #BrunchConnoisseur #ZestyCitrusInfusion #HashbrownHarmony #CherishedAmbiance #AuditoryTapestries #ServiceExcellence #CulinarySynergy #FutureEGGIESJourneys #VeganEggEnthusiast #YelpEliteReview #ElevatedPalateJourney

Yelp
Needed a quick bite so we ended up here! Ordered the classic sandwhich and it didnt disappoint! Super fulfilling and inexpensive compared to other spots. Everything you can ask for in a bfast sandwhich tbh. Ordered a side of hashbrowns, yes! Lol you can make it a combo with coffee or orange juice. Got the coffee but it wasnt good, doesnt wake you up as well. Right next to breakfast republiq so parking is a b i t c h. Lol Seating is limited but other than that cute spot.

Yelp
I walked by several times and finally made it here for a meal. I love eggs. The menu is simple with several sandwich options on a brioche bun. The classic- sausage The chicken sandwich (forgot the name) The california - turkey sausage Each has its own flavor, and i went with the california which has avocado and arugula. I upgraded to a combo which adds a coffee and a Hashbrown. It was overall reasonably priced and very tasty. I think next time I'll get the california but substitute the protein. This is more of a to go place. There's a bench outside and 3 high stools at a "bar" to eat at. It's like ordering to go through a drive thru that you just walk up to. They have some desert options and a potAto in a jar dish that looked amazing. Parking is tough, your in downtown. No specific lot to park in. Hashbrown is like a McDonald's hash brown
google avatar

Danielle C.

Yelp
I ordered a BLT here, hoping that they would emphasize the B in bacon a bit more and less on the sausage but no, the sandwich was majority sausage. It was a very thick sausage patty too, to my dismay - I don't really like sausage all that much especially if it was that huge. Even my husband thought there was way too much sausage. The lettuce was also this giant rubbery piece that was hard to eat so I ate it separately. The bacon piece that was in here was also not crispy and I basically had to rip it to eat it. There was also too much bread in this sandwich - I felt like the brioche bun seemed more appropriate for a burger instead of a breakfast sandwich. I think this would have tasted slightly better on a croissant or biscuit. My friends got other sandwiches and they also commented too much bread for theirs as well. The hash browns were in a jar which on the outside looked cute... but I felt like this would steam the hash browns. I did try a bite and yes they were indeed on the soggier side. If you are looking for crispy hash browns this is absolutely not the way to order them.

Yelp
Yes yes yes ! My chicken sandwich was AMAZING . I got the chicken sandwich with an egg and cheddar cheese. I was in love with how great the chicken tasted and the bun was so soft. High recommend if you are looking for a quick bite to eat!

Yelp
randomly came here before my hair appointment because I was hungry. I've seen this place everywhere so I knew I'd have to try. I got the basic egg sandwich & made it a combo with the hash brown & orange juice. The sandwich was delicious! Super big & worth $9. The hash brown was sooooo good! I added a side of hot sauce and ate everything with it. The house made hot sauce was perfect! Orange juice comes in a small cup but it's freshly squeezed so it's worth it to me. Definitely will come back to try the other sandwiches soon!

Yelp
I saw this place while we were driving around looking for parking to go to a cafe. The eggies logo was really cute, which drew me to it initially. My boyfriend ordered at the cafe a couple of streets down and I waited at Eggies (I was the only one there where the kitchen staff kind of stared at me and no one was at the front). I stood there for 10 more minutes and I was debating leaving but there was nowhere else nearby where I didn't have to wait in a line. Probably 15 minutes later of me standing in front of this place, a server from next door came to take my order. So it's basically a hole in the wall owned by the next door restaurant so they could make some extra cash. He told me it's a 5-7 minute wait for a sandwich and I was the first in line so makes sense! Right as he said this the two kitchen staff leave, which was basically the whole kitchen staff lol. They just left, and no one was in the kitchen. I stood there for 20-25 minutes until they called my order. During this whole time, my boyfriend had time to order at the cafe down the street, get his drink, and walk over and waited with me. The California sandwich was actually good, super greasy but delicious.

Yelp
Was searching on Yelp for a quick breakfast spot to start my Comic-Con day and came across this one. Convenient, straightforward takeout online ordering! Every bite of the California sandwich was super flavorful (no skimping on the bacon and fresh avocado!). The strawberry creme brulee was pretty much like pure summer in a jar; refreshingly (not overly) sweet with the strawberry compote, light cream, and French toast crumbles. Neat that it came in a Mason jar that I plan to reuse. I docked a star because of the service. The man at the counter seemed really tired as he was preparing coffee for another order in such a slow manner. By no means did I expect an energetic and cheery attitude especially at 8 in the morning, but when I informed him that I was here for my pickup order, he stared at me and then pointed at the takeout bag right next to him. Cold. Overall recommend for a quick morning pick-me-up in downtown SD. Just wished that the service was even only a tad friendlier.

Becky I.

Yelp
They serve from early in the morning at 7am to mid afternoon 2pm. Service was fast and easy , was really pleased with how cheesy the egg sandwich was :) and appreciated the corny egg jokes on the food containers. It's a small area and not much to sit around but it's has an nice and bright environment.

Yelp
Cute little takeaway breakfast sandwich place. It think its owned by the same people who own Breakfast Republic since its right next door but it lacks the massive line. My california sandwich was tasty. I kinda wish they put guacamole or smashed avo on it instead of avocado wedges which all tried to escape my sandwich. The runny yolk is their signature and yummy. I also love the cheeky packaging. Reasonable prices. $9 for s sandwich and for another $4 you can upgrade to a combo with hash browns and a coffee or for $1 more get fresh squeezed oj.

Yelp
Great little spot right next to (possibly part of???) Breakfast republic. We had our little one so we didn't want to wait for a table at Breakfast republic, saw this spot and decided to try it. Small menu of egg sandwiches. Make it a combo (with hash brown and coffee) for a few bucks more. Glad we did, the coffee was STRONG with coffee ice cubes... just what we needed since our little guy had a rough night sleep the night before. Both sandwiches were very good size and tasted super fresh. The hash browns were frozen patty style but I'm a fan of them so I wasn't disappointed. They also have fresh squeezed Orange Juice and churros. We didn't splurge on either of those but I will next time. The gentleman behind the counter, guessing maybe a manager, was extremely friendly. No line, quick service. Got our food in probably 10 min. Will we return? Yes
google avatar

Yelp
Stumbled across this place while on a staycation for the holiday and wanted to give a try. It was a little wait as it's made to order. All the sandwiches are good sized portions and is customizable. I got the classic sandwich which was really good. My only complaint is it was a little greasy but would recommend!

Kim M.

Yelp
What a disappointment, I always look forward to getting "what came first" I speak highly of this place. But today was just not it! Super skinny chicken and small! A very small egg! I wish I could have taken a picture in the beginning but I was just so hungry. Also the hash brown was a triangle shaped. that look much smaller then what they usto be. This is how restaurants loose their value. Just like the breakfast republic did. Inflation ? Or cheap owner? A McChicken has more chicken than this.

Yelp
Atmosphere: Eggies is a charming, egg- and chicken-focused stand. The branding is very youthful and chic, and the stand itself is also fun and jovial. There's a cute Eggies bench outside to sit on while you wait for your order. Service: Our service at Eggies was good! The ordering was easy and the food was ready at a reasonable time. Food: We ordered the Eggies Classic and What Came First? sandwiches, as well as a Strawberry French Toast jar and Potato Hash jar. The eggs on both sandwiches were cooked to a perfect over medium. The Eggies Classic was very flavorful and well-balanced. The chicken in the What Came First? sandwich was juicy and went well with the Eggcellent sauce! The jars were both visually appealing and packaged very neatly, but neither tasted as good as they looked. The Strawberry French Toast was initially tasty and sweet, but as we made our way towards the bottom of the jar, the fillings became too moist and mushy to the point where it took away from the taste. The Potato Hash jar was cumbersome to eat because of the small jar and the fact that each "layer" of the Potato Hash was completely separated. This led to us essentially eating all of the egg at the top of the jar and then having to eat a mushy layer of potatoes at the bottom of the jar. Overall: For a trendy San Diego specialty shop, we thought that the sandwiches at Eggies were quite reasonably priced. The quality and flavor of the sandwiches were amazing and were the favorite parts of our meal. Although the jars were nice to keep and looked cute, the components inside disappointed us. We would definitely recommend giving the sandwiches at Eggies a try!

Yelp
Not entirely impressed but it was good! I had issues with the amount, rather the lack of, chicken in my breakfast chicken sandwich. It just all tasted kinda blah for the price you pay for a sandwich. Needs more sauce or something to spruce it up. However, the little mason jars with potatoes and eggs are the best idea!

Yelp
Walked INTO the store to order at 7:30am after seeing their stand out front saying they opened at 7:00am. A lady comes out of the kitchen and looks at me and just says they're closed and not accepting orders and walks away. If you aren't going to open at advertised times then change your times.

Yelp
Ah yeah I looked out the window seen his bald head Ran to the fridge and pulled out an egg Scoped him with my scopes, he had no hair Launched that shot and he was caught out there Saw the convertible driving by I loaded up the slingshot, let one fly He went for his to find he didn't have one Put him in check, correct, with my egg-gun The egg, a symbol of life I go inside your house and bust out your wife I pulled out the jammy, he thought it was a joke The trigger, I pulled his face, the yolk Reached in his pocket, took all his cash Left my man standing with the egg mustache Suckers, they come a dime a dozen "When I say dozen, you know what I'm talkin' about, boy" Yeah, that's right, I'm the Egg Man, driving around King of the town (yeah) Always got my windows rolled down Ready to throw You know, I'm the Egg Man

Yelp
Aw man I love the classic! It has so many flavors of sweet and salty mixed in there. Bacon was crispy which I love and the hash brown was nice and greasy! Mmmm mmm mmm to my belly.

Yelp
Super yummy breakfast sandwich, WOW! Got the California and it was superb. Definitely more of a burger with egg than a breakfast sandwich, but I didn't mind that. Brioche was phenomenal. The sauce is soooo good. And the hasbrowns have the most perfect crunch and they're so salty but in a good way.

Yelp
The sandwich was pretty good. I had the classic. I had this place on my list for a while so finally had the time to try it out. Not sure if I would try something else but overall, I recommend. Service was quick and ambiance was nice being its a small place.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place heading back home and decided to give it a try. The Eggies Classic sandwich did not disappoint. I ordered mine with no cheese and it was delicious. I love the sauce they use inside the sandwich. The order came out fast and they put your order into these cute to go bags. I aso ordered a nitro cold brew with almond milk.

Yelp
I love to go to Eggies or order on door dash if I'm feeling lazy. (Today I was feeling lazy so the picture isn't as pretty if I ordered there.) But, 10/10 breakfast sandwiches. I always get the "What Came First?" that has fried chicken and eggs. So good! The combo or at least the hash brown add on is a go to as well.
