This is the new go to spot for a quick bite to eat in San Diego! Definitely the most delicious egg sandwich I ever had! Please take my word follow me and understand I know what good food is and this sandwich here is something special! I’d love to tell you more about it but I’d rather you come see for yourself!

Google
Great walk up breakfast place with a cute theme. Reasonable prices for what you get. The “What Came First” sandwich with fried chicken was messy but super tasty. The Eggie’s Classic was very good with a touch of sweet maple sausage. The orange juice was very fresh.

Had the Eggies Breakfast sandwich. Let me tell you, I LOVE breakfast. I try new places all the time, all over the world. But this sandwich was the best breakfast sandwich I’d ever had. The meat was delicious and flavorful, the bacon was just the right blend of crispy and thick, and the eggs themselves were SO DAMN GOOD.

The food is very good and is flavorful. The Potato Hash Jar is our go to. I have heard some people complain about the "soggy" potatoes in the jar, but it's cooked sous vide and there's no way to get them crispy cooking them in that manner. Definitely worth a try!

Google
A small but delicious food court here, just in front of the Breakfast Republic. It's more like a stand with a simple menu. I tried the Eggs classic, with the egg, cheese, crispy bread, crispy bacon, the breakfast sausage and the special sauce. It's full of taste actually. A $2 hash brown is worth a try with the burger. Also, the Vanilla cold foam brew is in good taste but less in amount

I was really excited to try this place and as a new vegetarian I was excited to try a vegan fried chicken sandwich. The girl at the front was nice at first but when she gave me my food she dropped the bag in front of me very rudely and turned and walked away. Now to the chicken sandwich. I would say it tasted exactly how non vegans would imagine a vegan chicken sandwich would taste. The texture and appearance was as if you made a boiled chicken sandwich. It’s supposed to be a deep fried chicken sandwich but as you can see in the photos, that most certainly is not the case. Wasn’t crispy whatsoever and barely had any fried batter on it at all. The moment I took a bite everything inside of the sandwich began to slide off like when you have sliced avocado on a sandwich. I had to keep pushing everything back in between the bread. The only reason I finished it was because I had just spent $12 on it which for what it is is absolutely absurd. I had to keep drinking my girlfriends tea to get the second half of the sandwich down. I’m not a picky eater but this was genuinely one of the worst sandwiches I’ve ever had.

If you crave and love breakfast sandwiches...this is the spot!!! Perfect seasoning on the Eggies Classic and the California sandwich. Here is the best part, the Coffee... It was the perfect cup. I want to try the jars next time. Love at first sight.

Yelp
The good: I got the bacon sandwich, the classic sandwich, freshly squeezed Orange juice, salted caramel cold brew, churros and vanilla cold foam brew. I loved how the coffees had a single square giant ice cube made of coffee! Churros were my favorite food item from here. My food was all ready in a jiffy. Their packaging is premium. I liked the fun egg stickers, the cartoon egg bag and the mason jar that the hash came in. The bad: The hash was just wet and very strong in rosemary flavor. I preferred the mashed potato egg jars at other egg breakfast spots. The caramel churro dip didn't add much to the dish. The sandwiches were ok but were a bit too much for me. I thought the lettuce and breakfast sausage didn't go well together though I generally like veggies in every sandwich. The interesting: Their store is in a shipping container.

Yelp
Just simply awful. The counter person is rude and dismissive, the egg sandwiches were put together sloppily and was impossible to even pick up - a total mess. Finally, their metal bar stools had a sharp metal point on the underside of the seat which punctured my finger as I tried to pull it in. Forgot to add both sandwiches we ordered were not the ones we received. There's only four or five to choose from, so getting both orders wrong is kinda inexcusable. We ended up throwing both out. Total waste of time and money. DO NOT GO HERE.

Yelp
Dark yolks so that's a plus, but man bacon was undercooked, sausage was undercooked, both pork meats were pink and in my egg, and my has brown looked like someone took a bite out of it. Trash was overflowing. Like no one here is properly doing their work.

Yelp
Made a quick pit stop for some breakfast. This was my first time trying eggies in San Diego and it was absolutely fantastic. The flavor was full and savory. It was the perfect "hangover" sandwich in my opinion. It was layered with a fried egg, avocado, bacon, a turkey sausage patty, arugula with an aioli dressing. This held me over for the whole day! Just to let you know, it is a stationary food truck vibe, with a few spots to sit.

Pianca I.

Yelp
This place is actually a "food truck" with a few oudoor seatings which is cute. The design and logos caught my eyes and reminds me of Mad Yolks from Santa Cruz. The cashier was prompt with order taking. Seems like it wasn't very busy and it took around 10 min for our food to come out. We got the "What came first?" and "hash brown jar". I loved the sandwich. Chicken was fried to cripsy, and nicely flavored. The yolk was still runny which added so much more goodness to the sandwich. On the other hand, I'm not a great fan of the hash brown jar. Hash browns should be cripsy in my opinion. They mixed cheddar with hash brown and pre-sous vide it in a warm bath. The entire hash brown was soggy and a little sour, maybe from the sharp cheddar. Will be back if I am craving for some great chicken sandwich.

Yelp
Realistically a 3.5 but I always round up! The extra 0.5 points comes from the fact that they actually make fresh pressed orange juice on site and this is less common than it should be in the US! lol However, when it comes to food, it is really just okay. I think it tries to be like egg slut with their own spin but the execution is simply not there. For example, their sous vide egg in a jar comes with hashbrowns which felt really soggy and didn't necessarily go well with the yolky egg. I personally like my hashbrowns really crunchy - and if the ywere going for soggy - they might as well have gone full mash potatoes. I also really liked that for the cold brew, they put a single coffee ice cube in so that as it melts, the coffee does not get diluted. Super close to the beach so its a convenient place to stop for a drink but by no means a favorite nor would I go out of my way to eat here again.

Yelp
Came across this little corner shop randomly but glad I did! Had the eggies classic , California classic sandwich and potato hash jar. The sandwiches were SO good! The potato hash was really greasy that I couldn't get myself to take more than 2 bites. It came in a glass mason jar, so that was a cute souvenir. Reasonably priced with its size and this location. Short walk to the beach where we got to enjoy our food!

Yelp
This cute little stand a block from the beach serves up hearty breakfast sandwiches to get you going for the day. They are part of the rise and shine restaurant group, so of course they have great graphic design, which includes a die cut coffee sleeve that allows you to play Luchador and pick your emotion (see photo). However, the coffee was inferior to that served at sister location, fig tree cafe. There was a nitro cold brew option I need to try. If they had hot cocoa, the coffee cups and Luchador sleeve would be great for kids. This is a walk up and pay when you order kind of a stand with limited outside seating, but we were greeted with a smile and my modification was well received. The hash browns are delicious. $2 for what you can buy at the store for 20 cents, but they are deep fried to perfection. The sandwich prices seem to be a little lower - maybe due to the competition a block down the street with similar sandwiches. They are now $10 each. The chicken on my rise and shine was a bit overdone with a super dark crunchy exterior, but the original eggies sandwich was perfect. Pro tip: ask for extra napkins before you bite in!

Yelp
We came here on a whim. And boy, it did not disappoint. I fell in love with their breakfast sandwiches. It was tasty, packed with protein and the bun was fresh. The service was fast and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
Not a ton of options but straightforward easy breakfast spot with no frills in front of the breakfast republic ( who will also validate your parking in the adjacent lot) The chicken in the sandwich makes it more like going to get fried chicken sandwich than breakfast but the chicken was one of the best I've ever had. Hash browns are crispy. Orange juice is tart! Would come back. Wish they had other cup options like I saw on previous menus like a breakfast crème brûlée. Did not see that available

Yelp
Okay, this was such a great experience, my husband and I went to PB with our little pup on Juneteenth, we actually came to PB because we wanted to check out a coconut spot but I had the wrong address. We saw Eggies on our walk and had both been wanting to check it out so we made our way over. I ended up getting the Eggie's classic and Bryan ordered their BLT sandwich along with a hashbrown. Ummm, why has it taken me so long to have their breakfast, it's so simple but so delicious! My sandwich was heft, the brioche bun was so soft, the sausage had really good flavors and the egg was perfectly cooked. My husband isn't a fan of eggs unless they're scrambled and he forgot to ask if he could have it that way but we ended up giving his egg to our little pup. He loved his sandwich too and especially loved the salsa/hot sauce and poured it over his sandwich. The hashbrowns were almost perfect, they could have been a crunchier but I think it's because it didn't have enough time to rest after being fried. We would definitely come back, service was great and the food is really tasty!

Yelp
Hands down, one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever eaten. The chicken is light but crispy. The pickle is perfectly acidic. The egg is just the right amount of runny to not be messy. The staff was friendly and u love that it is a locally ran place. This spot is amazing and everyone should come. After we at the first one we ordered a second one and added the browns which were also perfect.

Yelp
I'm not a big Breakfast Fan, but on occasion I get a craving for a good Breakfast Sandwich. Today I asked the young Lady at my Hotel for a good breakfast Sandwich. Without hesitation she said Eggi. 25 minutes later I was pulling up. I couldn't make up my mind which one so I got two. The California and The Classic. I also got a Hash Brown and well as a fresh squeezed OJ. Now we should be said I have been working recently on unbigging my back. I couldn't decide which sandwich but also decided that which everyone I didn't take I would give to the young lady at the desk at my hotel, which I did. She got the California. The Original, might be one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. Although I don't go for breakfast much over the last 4 or 5 years but absolutely at the top of my list. It was juicy creamy salty and a little bit of sweet with the Maple Bacon. Outstanding sandwich and flavor Overload. The Hash Brown was crispy little salt and pepper perfect. Dipped it in the House Sauce as well as Ketchup. Again Great. The Fresh squeeze orange juice also fantastic and not bad for $4.50. Service was fantastic and she was very patient with me as she noticed that I was completely taken by the Menu and I was stuck on Pause. Service was also exceptional and she was very informative about the Menu. If you have to be in the area or near any of the several locations they have do yourself a favor and pick up a sandwich. I'll be back for sure. Y'allhollaatchaboy!

Yelp
The California sandwich is eggsactly what we needed! 10/10, the best breakfast sandwich we have had in Pb!
google avatar

Lauren M.

Yelp
Love me a brioche bun breakfast sandwich. Great price point for a filling breakfast sandwich. I ordered the Eggies classic which had a medium easy egg, the brioche bun, eggcellent sauce, maple-sage breakfast sausage, applewood smoked bacon, and sharp cheddar cheese. Mmmmm defs worth ordering again next time I'm here.

Yelp
Food is holy balls out of this world delicious. It's worth the wait. I got the SD sub turkey for the sausage. Service - you will need to get their attention, it was quite the wait bc they were working the back of house. :/ Vibes- it's a container place, outdoor seating only, seating is rare. Grab a seat quickly or get it to go.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and stop by here! Their egg sandwiches are the real deal. I tried the classic eggie sandwich and the california eggie sandwich. Both sandwiches were AMAZINGGGG. My favorite would have to be the california though, it has all the flavors you want in a sandwich plus delicious arugula and avocado. Their eggie sauce has a tiny sweetness to it that compliments the entire sandwich so well. The strawberry french toast is okay. I would definitely skip this one, the flavors are good but nothing special and the "french toast" is super dense and is the farthest thing from french toast ive ever had. I would 100% come back for these sandwiches...the only things that made me knock a star off was the OJ cup ($4) was so tiny...i mean its a little comical...for $4 i expected at least a medium sized cup..but the OJ tasted good so not too big of a deal. Also in one of the sandwiches, the egg whites were still raw which was not appetizing at all. Im all for a runny yolk but i prefer my whites cooked all the way lol. Ill just ask for them cooked a little longer next time. Thanks Eggies, ill be back!!

Yelp
This place was amazing!! We grabbed brunch here to eat on the beach. I tried the BLT Sandwich and Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice. The juice was great and super refreshing. The sandwich had the perfect combination of flavors and textures. The bun was crispy but also soft. Overall, just so so good. It was large and filling. When I'm back in SD, I'll have to try a different sandwich!

Yelp
Best Breakfast Sandwich Ever! Prime location right by the beach in PB with great service
google avatar

Isabelle W.

Yelp
Eggies is soooo good. The california sandwich is my favorite. It is like a breakfast burger with a sausage patty, bacon, avocado and a really good sauce! I love to take it to the beach and eat it with a view. Definitely a heavier breakfast but it's totally worth it!!
google avatar

Samir Y.

Yelp
Honestly, this is a simple and delicious breakfast. They have 4 regular sandwiches on the menu and I'm pretty sure it'd be hard to go wrong with any. I got the California Eggie sandwich and it was really tasty, especially on the pretzel bun (substitution). The nitro brew coffee was a great compliment to the sandwich. Not a very travelable sandwich as the egg is a little runny but I wouldn't want it any other way. The staff is super nice and friendly, definitely looking forward to trying more of their menu.
google avatar

Christine S.

Yelp
These breakfast sandwiches are eggceptionally good! Their summer special - Spicy Chicken Eggie is super tasty! Everything about this sandwich just goes really well together. The sandwich is not that spicy at all, so if you want more heat... you should ask the member to adjust the spiciness level to your liking. I love the greens in their California Eggie, the arugula and avocado just makes this sandwich look so appealing and it is refreshingly delicious. I did not like their coffee, it wasn't hot enough and I think they didn't put enough creamer. You also can't ask for more creamer. They should have creamers and sugar out, maybe a coffee station? so customers can customize the taste of their coffee. They also do not have forks...why??? The sandwich falls apart with every bite. Be prepared to use your hands to pick up the stuff that fell out of your sandwich! Bring your own sanitizer! They don't have hand sanitizers for their customers either.

Yelp
When I first tried a bite of my plants came first sandwich at I thought I was eating real chicken! I asked the server if it was and she said it indeed was a vegan patty! This is a vegan sandwich don't be fooled by appearances!! Very delicious and large portion. Loved the outside seating where my friend, her baby and I ate and enjoyed the beach scenery! Great service.

Angie A.

Yelp
Food is amazing and staff definitely recommend!!10/10 will be going back for sureee . Got the California and omg to die for !!

Yelp
Came here for the good reviews but was extremely disappointed and grossed out. I got the What Came First sandwich. Took one bite into the fried chicken and was immediately grossed out. The chicken was rubbery and had a very weird foul taste. I then looked into the chicken I bit into, it was thin, grey, rubbery looking and I lost my appetite. It didn't look or taste like chicken. It was likely chicken thigh, but the quality was awful. My partner took a bite, thinking maybe I just didn't like it, and also thought it tasted very bad. I pulled out the chicken and tried to eat it with just the egg. I had to throw it away. I was surprised as everyone else said it was good on the reviews. My partner had the California sandwich, and said it was just okay, but greasy and messy. The coffee: generally it was good, but I think false advertising. I wanted the nitro cold brew, but was interested in the cold foam cold brew. The server said it's the same as the nitro, so I went with the cold foam. It was not nitro cold brew and it did not have cold foam- it was basically just cold brew. Again, it was good, but it's not what they advertise and super small for the cost. Last note, I like stevia with the coffee because I like it sweet even tho it's not necessary, I went to add the packet provided and it came out chunky and was partially green. I'm assuming it was molding? Also gross. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place. I'm sitting here with my stomach aching, making noises in knots with what little I ate of that sandwich. Such a bummer.

Yelp
This is an excellent option especially when Breakfast Republic has way too long of a wait. They're right next door to each other! Eggie's is a little stand with a very simple menu. They have some "bar" seating but I highly recommend taking it to go, then walking the 1 block to eat it on the beach! We got breakfast sandwiches along with nitro cold brew. Their nitro is sooo smooth and delicious! The sandwiches were messy so be sure to bring napkins.
google avatar

Yelp
Was originally gonna get breakfast at a different spot in Pacific Beach, then saw the sign for Eggies and knew we had to eat here instead! What we got: - Eggies Classic Sandwich - California Sandwich - French Toast Sandwich All three of these sandwiches were a grand slam! Each sandwich is served on a brioche bun with an over-medium egg. The Eggies Classic has both sausage and bacon, cheddar cheese, and their eggcellent sauce. Just like the name, it's a classic breakfast sandwich. Protein loaded and extra savory. Hubby enjoyed it! I got the California sandwich, served with house aioli, tomato jam, bacon, a turkey patty, avocado, baby arugula, and muenster cheese. Whoo! A mouthful, literally! And then what really sent us over the top (and straight into a food coma) was that French Toast sammy! Courtesy of the sweet custard, tomato jam, ham, bechamel, gruyere, and parmesan cheese all contained between that brioche bun. The perfect combo of savory and sweet, and just a damn treat for breakfast. We were for sure so stuffed after having tried all this food. Very filling! But luckily it's in PB, where a walk down to the beach or a couple hours of shopping around is absolutely warranted to help digest LOL. Def a must-try!

Yelp
A cute location that serves great breakfast food but suffers from limited parking and staff. Highly recommend just putting in an order for pick-up instead of dining in since there is only free street parking and the cheapest alternative was the $5/hour parking lot reserved for Breakfast Republic customers. Eggies Classic (4.5/5): Really enjoyed how smoky the bacon shined in this. Incredibly meaty and you should get this if you enjoy the classic sausage and egg combination. Definitely not your usual McDonald's breakfast sandwich. What Came First? (4.5/5): Great chicken alternative. Chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy. House pickles cut through the huge hunk of chicken and this choice suits the lunch cravings. Both sandwiches had perfect gooey eggs with it. Strawberry French Toast Jar (4/5): I need more of the crumble! While the French toast was delicious and resembled bread pudding, all of the toppings were mixed with the first layer only so the bottom half was a bit plain. Make sure to bring the jar back for a quarter discount if you come back. For the $4 combo upgrade with a hash brown and orange juice, I would pass. The hash brown was mediocre at best and the cup of orange juice was TINY. The orange juice was freshly squeezed but I had at most 3 gulps of it. There was only one person manning the front and while she was polite, she definitely didn't have time to wipe down all the tables people were sitting in. During these times, I wouldn't be sitting down here. The food was worth the $9 all around price but I'd stick to the original menu without any upgrades.

Alexandra V.

Yelp
Paid $4.25+tax only to be delivered a 8oz Orange Juice. The employee piped in with "it used to be smaller." Ummm... that does make me feel better? I was honestly so surprised at the size that I actually brought the cup home, filled it to the brim with water, and poured it in a measuring cup to confirm.. 8 fluid ounces. This place's prices are egregious at best. Johan Engman should be ashamed at how his businesses are operating.

Yelp
Eggies was truly great. A few friends and I stopped by in the morning and each grabbed a breakfast sandwich. I ordered the California and it was so filling and yummy. I will say though that the breakfast sausage patty was more of the star of the show than the egg, which was totally fine. For $9, I will say this is a pricier breakfast sandwich, but it definitely felt like I was eating a burger for breakfast, so the price is not bad for what you get. The food was very tasty and I'm glad I tried this place out.

Yelp
Last month I visited the Eggies location at the Liberty Station, and let me tell you, that was a life-altering experience LOL I didn't know breakfast sandwiches could taste so great! https://www.yelp.com/biz/eggies-san-diego-4?hrid=WiHFSh9z7IVfKncmJTcg1A&utm_campaign=www_review_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct) Long story short, Eggies is wayyyy better than EggSlut in LA if you're familiar with it. I got the Eggies Classic Sandwich $9 which has eggcellent sauce, sausage, bacon and sharp cheddar. It's super duper delicious and yummy! The only thing I didn't like about this Eggies location was the non-existent parking. I went on a Saturday morning and PB parking is terrible in general. I just wanted to grab-and go but ended up having to park at the CVS lot which is $8 an hour! You can only park there for free while you're in the store, so technically this sandwich ended up costing me $17. For that reason, I'll probably only go back to the Liberty Station location. I'd only come here if I were in PB for other stuff too. Still an excellent breakfast choice if you're in the PB area!

Yelp
NOM NOM NOM!! I finally tried Eggies!! "You Get Laid Last Night?" "YEP." Hahahahaha. According to the Eggies website, there are 3 locations: - East Village - opened around May 2020 - Pacific Beach - opened around July 2020 - Liberty Station - opened around June 2020 When I first heard the concept, I was immediately hooked. Who doesn't love EGGS?!?!?!?! I had the opportunity to try in September 2020 (via delivery on DoorDash app). My friend and I tried the following: (1) California - house aioli, tomato jam, applewood smoked bacon, turkey patty, avocado, baby arugula, and muenster cheese (2) Eggies Classic - eggcellent sauce, maple-sage breakfast sausage, applewood smoked bacon, and sharp cheddar cheese (3) French Toast - sweet custard, tomato jam, ham, bechamel, gruyere, and parmesan cheese The Eggies Classic is my favorite. French Toast definitely for the sweet tooth cravings. My friend ordered the California, and he loved it! AMAZING!! #ILOVEEGGS #EGGSALLDAYEVERYDAY ENJOY!!

Yelp
Food was delicious. Subbed for vegan chicken as I am a vegetarian and was pleased with my meal

Yelp
This trendy little counter-service spot has awesome breakfast sandwiches! I recomend "the classic" or the "what came first". Their items include a brioche that is super soft and buttery and a runny egg cooked perfectly. This visit I tried the winter special and it was good, but at $2 more than the usual sandwiches, I would not get it, especially if it your first time. Ask for the hot sauce!

Yelp
Quick breakfast bites here at Eggies! Eggies reminds me off Eggslut in Las Vegas for it's reasonable pricing, made to order- take out food. Breakfast: *What Came First- egg smothered in their signature "eggcellent" sauce, topped with fried chicken, muenster cheese and house pickle= scrumptious and filling! *BLT- bacon with bacon jam, bacon sausage, and muenster cheese to go with lettuce and tomato= yummy, but very messy as it was leaking in the box, meh *Cold Brew: pretty good, comes with coffee iced cubes. This PB location is a small station to order your food right outside Breakfast Republic. The wait time wasn't that bad I think about 2 others ahead when I came by on a Friday morning. The only bummer is the bar area is for waiting for food only, and the outside seating/tables were full of patrons waiting to get into Breakfast Republic. It's very wacky because I feel like it's should be reserved for Eggies' diners, but that's just wishful thinking. People rush to the table and seating and it's a bit selfish when one sees people that are getting food at Eggies, but the other patrons people are just hogging the tables waiting for dining in next door. Your best bet is to eat this at the beach/boardwalk across the street anyways for summer vibes. Decor is nice, and food is reasonably priced and appetizing compared to dining in with full service at most breakfast spots.

Yelp
The sandwiches were awesome! Perfectly poached egg. Definitely was surprised how good it was. Recommend the What Came First chicken sandwich and the hash jar.

Yelp
You know, I do not know what came first, the chicken or the egg. However, I do know that they both taste delicious together. Let's say, fried chicken, a medium egg, slightly sour pickles, some cheese, an eggcelent sauce, on a soft Toasted bun, well I think we have a winner folks! The sandwich was delicious and well put together for ease of eating. The egg was cooked perfectly and the chicken was crispy. Great sauce too by the way. The young lady at the counter was super and they are located right in front of the Breakfast Republic.

Yelp
I waited until this third location of Eggies to open up before writing a review. A shack (giant shipping container) was assembled in front of Breakfast Republic to house the operations. The setup is great for take-out which is perfect for a time like this. Because of the close proximity to the beach, free parking is non-existent on the summer weekends. The pay lot next door is suitable if you can find a space for $5 per hour. Since I had tried one of the two jars at the downtown location, it was time to taste one of their five breakfast sandwiches which cost $9 apiece. I chose the California which was comprised of house aioli, tomato jam, applewood smoked bacon, turkey patty, avocado, baby arugula, and muenster cheese. There was a lot going on with so many ingredients. What was underrated to me was the tomato jam. I could have used an extra slathering of that and a reduction in the aioli. As for the jar, I picked the Potato Hash which included bacon, eggs, sharp cheddar, and chives. It was certainly a potato mash-up, but the flavors were not distinct. I had a hard time understanding how it cost $8 as opposed to a neatly assembled sandwich for $1 more. If you return a cleaned jar lid at a future visit, then they will offer you a small discount on your next order. While the sandwich was worthy of four stars, the jar earned two stars which is how I came up with a composite three star rating for Eggies.

Yelp
First time trying this place and one of the 3 classic egg sandwiches had a black hair cooked into the egg... yuck! Went back and they were sorry and said they would redo a new one. The girl seemed blah and wonder if they were taught about valued customer service. Clearly they thought it happens and has this move on attitude. I would of refunded something toward the $60 order- I mean 4 items and an orange juice at least step up your game to perfect customer service don't you think??

Yelp
I think the best thing to do is to stick to the breakfast sandwiches and skip the rest... We decided on a special weekend brunch picnic and stopped by this popular PB intersection to order Eggies to go. Breakfast republic is right behind it, so the mob of people blocking the sidewalks was confusing and alarming. Despite the fried egg spots on the ground, no one seemed to care to adhere to social distancing while we queued up to order. With one man in the main truck and maybe one or two more in the kitchen, the service flowed surprisingly smoothly. We had the What Came First and BLT, $9 each and also the orange juice ($4) and churros ($4). Sitting down elsewhere to picnic, we took a sip of the advertised fresh squeezed orange juice. It was poured into those kid sized lidded plastic cups and certainly tasted more like a sour fresh squeezed orange mixed in with concentrate. The sandwiches were very good. Opening up the containers the giant monstrosities were delicious looking. I liked the What Came First with the runny egg and fried chicken and super thinly sliced pickles. Adding a touch of their hot sauce added a nice heat. The BLT had a sweetness to it from the bacon and was equally delicious. To end our weekend brunch, we had the churros which came as six little pieces in a box. Those were by far well over cooked and way too crunchy for my taste. Will definitely be back for the sandwiches, but not anything else.

Yelp
Food was fine but here's a picture of their "fresh squeezed orange juice" after 15 minutes... UPDATE: in response to the business owner below - I hope by "adjustments where needed" you mean to stop false advertising and overcharging customers for something they're not even getting.

Yelp
Was pretty excited to try out this place, overall their sandwiches were egg-cellent ! I would describe them as breakfast hamburgers, plenty of topics, hard to bite due to size, huge buns, eggs cook perfectly with runny yolk, quick service, line goes quick. there is a few tables and chairs in the patio.... would say, is good if you are looking for a quick bfast snack. was not a fan of the OJ or churros, OJ is served in a tiny cup for $4 and churros are not fresh, rather hard and cold in the inside. the use a hot water bath to cook their jars, which we did not try... but yea.. their sandwiches are solid... the area can be hectic if going during the weekend, we took ours to kate sessions and ate there :D of course a few pups came by to say hello.

Yelp
One of the tastiest egg sandwiches I've had ever. Similar to eggslut in Vegas, but prices are more fair. Coffee and oj kinda expensive for the drink size. Hash brown was crispy and scrumptious. Would def recommend to anyone in the area looking for a quick breakfast. It does take a while to come out.

Yelp
Got the Classic sandwich, sooo good! I'm actually not a huge fan of sausage but the maple sage breakfast sausage works great in this sandwich! Perfect over easy egg..can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Came to try it out, was super excited got the strawberry jar and the hash brown jar. Strawberry jar was okay the bread was super dense, why is the potato jar full of water? Like it's eggs and potatoes and cheese covered in water like when they put the eggs in they added a scoop of the water used to poach them. I could practically drink it. Very unappetizing and somehow the potatoes were hard in all the water. Disappointed all around.

Yelp
Loved the food, absolutely loved the fast to-go concept. I got a sandwich and a jar from Eggies, and it was so convenient to order and have everything packed to take away, or to eat on the outdoor patio area. What Came First Sandwich - eggcellent sauce, crispy seasoned fried chicken, an over medium egg, crunchy house pickles, and muenster cheese with their house aioli sauce served on a soft brioche bun. French Toast Jar - brioche bread, strawberries, mascarpone cream, and brown sugar crumble (served ready to go in a mason jar) and superbly delicious and decadent.

Yelp
Fuck this place, I didn't call you to listen to an AI tell me to hold, I didn't call you to not talk to someone in the store. Being on hold for over 10 minutes while THE MOST ANNOYING robot voice tells me to be patient and that I'm on hold is one of the most annoying things I've ever experienced when trying to eat somewhere. This awful service made me just not want to come here. I rarely leave reviews ever but this was just so annoying and frustrating I had to let you know to step it up and that u lost a customer. Edit: I was on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up

Yelp
Overall 3.5/5. Very average place. Take out spot by owners of Breakfast Republic. What came first fried chicken sandwich (4/5): pretty decent. Was a little soggy when I got home but it did take me 20 mins to get home. Flavor was pretty good. A little too much tabasco tang for me but if that's what you like, it's full of that. Potato hash in a jar (3/5): cute idea. Love the jar concept but flavor wise was only ok. Had bacon and chives with potatoes. It was kinda in between a baked potato and hashbrowns. Consistency was soft and not crunch like hashbrowns but shredded like hashbrowns. Then added the bacon and chives like baked potatoes. And then also 2 really soft eggs on top. Not too much flavor in there. Probably would not recommend getting that. Overall, would much rather wait 30 mins to go to Breakfast Republic instead.
