Seattle Restaurant Openings for September 2025 | Eater Seattle

"Landing inside Melrose Market, the hyped breakfast-sandwich chain opens a Seattle location—good news for 'slut fans, and also good news for the neighboring businesses, who have been complaining about the construction." - Harry Cheadle

As a frequent visitor to the EggSlut in DTLA, I was excited to come here for the first time. The freshly-prepared food and friendly service did not disappoint! I got my usual: the Fairfax, sub chipotle ketchup. Delicious. I wish they had more beverage options or had more good options nearby, but next time I’ll just BYOB.

Came by to check up on a place that I never forgot during my visit to LA. I can’t say the atmosphere matches at all, but the food? It was amazing as I expected. medium eggs, runny yolk, amazing buns, and tasty hashbrowns. Would love to visit here again. P.S. as the location is placed in the Melrose market, the space has limited seatings and parking space.

Eggslut is absolute amazing!🌟 – their food is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared 🍴😋. The staff is warm and attentive 🤗💛, and I loved that one of them even came out to offer orange juice to people waiting in line - such a thoughtful touch!💖 The atmosphere is modern, lively, and full of good vibes ✨, making it perfect for brunch with friends or a quick solo treat. 🌞Highly recommend to anyone looking for the BEST breakfast experience in Seattle! 🏙️

First time at Eggslut Seattle and it definitely lived up to the hype! The sandwiches were amazing - perfectly cooked eggs, and so flavorful. The Fairfax is a must-try! Staff were super friendly and the service was quick even though it was busy. Great vibes and delicious food, I’ll definitely be back!

I got the Fairfax sandwich and the truffle hashbrowns. Both were tasty. A little on the pricier side. Parking was a bit tricky. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Update : Couldn’t resist going back today—had to get my all-time fave, the SLUT (still undefeated 🥚✨) and tried the vegetarian hash browns too. Both were absolutely delicious! Crispy, cozy, and sooo satisfying. The Fairfax is still on my “must-retry” list for next time. But for now, these two get my top recommendation! 🥄💛 Also the staff is super nice 😊 Opening day review : I first discovered this place a few years ago in Vegas, and it instantly became one of my favorite spots whenever I visit. So, I was really excited when I saw they were opening in Seattle! I went on opening day yesterday and ordered the Fairfax sandwich. It was delicious--the bread was perfectly buttery. That said, I felt it was missing a little of the bold flavor I remembered from the Vegas location, maybe because of the sriracha mayo (it seemed lighter here, or maybe just less of it). Still, I absolutely recommend this place. Their SLUT (coddled egg) is simply divine. A must-try for all egg lovers!

Glad Eggslut is in Seattle, but taste-wise it’s hard to say it’s special. My company and I had fairfax sandwich, bacon, egg & cheese sandwich, cheeseburger and slut. We both expected Fairfax to be the best, but surprisingly we liked cheeseburger > bacon, egg & cheese sandwich > fairfax sandwich. The slut was better than I expected as the egg with mashed potatoes had rich and savory flavor, but the pieces of baguette that comes with it tasted like few days old store bought ones. We had to wait over 2 hours in line to get the foods and it was just average brioche with eggs. If you want to check this place out, I’d highly recommend to wait until the hype goes down. Lastly, they only 3 seats inside and 4-5 seats outside, so be prepared to make your order as to-go.

I went here on a Saturday, not much seating. The sides are delicious, the French toast sticks, hash browns are great! But the sandwich was a let down. We got the fairfax and egg salad sandwiches. Both were average, and certainly not worth the wait. The cinnamon sugar coffee is incredible though, serves as dessert and not much like coffee.
