13 Best Frisco Restaurants - Eater Dallas

"Located in historic downtown Frisco, this cozy wine bar is well known for its artisan pizza, wine, and lively patio. Come with friends to enjoy shareable menu items such as the salmon board with honey smoked salmon or The Godfather pizza with prosciutto, salami, peppered pepperoni, and white truffle oil, with the perfect wine selection to complement the meal." - Eater Staff

Eight 11 Place is a great spot when you’re in the mood for good vibes and live music. We ordered pizza and beer, and both were solid — nothing overly fancy, but it paired perfectly with the atmosphere. The service was attentive throughout the night, and the overall setting felt a bit upscale without being stuffy. Prices are on the higher side, but that comes with the territory in Frisco. The outdoor seating with fire pits is a standout feature and makes it a cozy place to relax, though parking can be a little tight depending on when you arrive. I’d definitely return, especially for a date night or laid-back evening with drinks and live music.

Beautiful place for some wine, good old fashions and super good food! This place will hold a place in my heart as I got engaged there YESTERDAY everyone was so attentive and gave a beautiful presentation for such a meaningful moment! Shout out to Robby for working with my fiancé to organize such a beautiful moment. Definitely visit! You won’t regret.

We came here for my birthday this year and overall enjoyed our experience! The bruschetta and pizza we got were amazing; I was particularly impressed with the godfather pizza! We sat on the patio and loved the ambiance, especially when the country singer came out! I didn’t looooove our service experience…. It wasn’t bad overall but there was period of time where we needed more water, another plate, and wanted to order another drink and we could not get our waiters attention. He was in and out of the building, talking to friends at the bar…. Etc! We were left trying to wave him down at one point and couldn’t catch him. Eventually he did return but it was slightly frustrating, as it’s not like this is the cheapest place to go to dinner! Hoping that next time we go we can get slightly better service.

We came here for S’mores and we had reservations, turns out that the S'mores grill was out of order even though we had reservations specifically to do S'mores! Then they told us the two S'mores grill behind us was reserved, even though we were there the entire time, nobody showed up! Very disappointed! Also, on the menu for S'mores, no price was shown, it just stated small 4, large 8, so we thought the pricing was for small, it was $4, and large was $8, but NO, it turns out large was $15, totally not worth it! As for the ambiance, music was played by two singers and the music was good!

I was excited to try this place for a date night with my husband. He arrived before me on a Thursday night and wasn’t greeted or helped by any server, so he went to the bar to get a drink. When I arrived, a server eventually came to our table but didn’t introduce herself or acknowledge that it was our first interaction. She simply asked what I wanted to drink, so I assumed she had already spoken to my husband — but she hadn’t. We ordered the brie and apple crostini, which was delicious. We then shared a prosciutto and arugula pizza that the server said was one of their best. Unfortunately, the dough was very undercooked and gooey. We didn’t mention it because the server took a long time to come back to the table. We each had an old fashioned, and my husband tried a wine flight. The server never offered dessert and overall wasn’t very warm or attentive. When we left, we noticed six employees chatting at the bar while the restaurant had only four tables occupied, which made the lack of service feel even more disappointing.

Local wine bar and pizzeria in a refurbished house with outdoor seating. Amazing atmosphere complete with live music, an outdoor bar and fire pits. Service was great; they were very attentive, friendly and personable throughout the whole night. Food was outstanding as well; pizza, bruschetta and truffle chips were great and the sangria was refreshing even as a non wine drinker. Would recommend as a great place for a special occasion or a date night.

Pizza was too cheesy. Staff is nice and attentive, good music playlist.

Overpriced average food with poor service. We asked if the $19 Texas Chips appetizer was made with house made potato chips or french fries and the server responded “they just open a bag of chips and dump a bunch of stuff on them”. That doesn’t sound like the premium ingredients the management refers to in their review responses. Also three people in our party received cocktails with missing ingredients or weird substitutions. $30 for a mediocre 12 inch pizza is just ridiculous! On the way out we noticed that the bartender was watching YouTube videos, hopefully he was learning how to make cocktails.
