This is an updated review from my last experience, and what a do over it was!
Firstly, after my initial impression and review of Eight Lounge, I received a message from management asking if I'd take them up on a complimentary round of drinks and an appetizer to make up for the experience as well as to reset my views of the business. Although I could not take them up on their offer initially due to schedule constraints, Moustafa, David, and Ian honored their offer as long as two months after the fact. They were also super helpful when it came to modifying my reservation and adding in another party.
Fast forward to yesterday evening's (12/19/22) reservation. Wow ! I was greeted first by Eight's Marketing Director, David, followed by their GM Ian. They had seated my first guest who looked like she was thoroughly enjoying her first cocktail. We had a great couch in the middle of the room.
Though I expected David and Ian to seat us, intro us to our fabulous waitress Tricia and bounce --no, lol they stuck around, asked thorough questions about my prior experience, about me, and we ended up talking about all kinds of topics. None of it seemed fake--they were super genuine and eager to make the experience a better one.
We ordered their panini and pizza, and I enjoyed their spicy margarita made with Casamigos. Our waitress, likewise, doted on us and was helpful. Everything tasted amazing . No waiting almost two hours for cocktails like last time!
The bottom line is, sometimes businesses make mistakes --but it's always best to give them a second chance when management reaches out. I am impressed, and will be back again soon. Thank you!!
