Overall a not so good experience. Food was a 1 Star at best. Service and Ambience was more like a 4 —- can’t get myself to give an overall rating more than 2/5. More of a fancy cocktail bar with a full menu but I think you can definitely do without the food here. Stick to the drinks in my opinion and skip the food or perhaps if you do get the food don’t expect much. Place has two outdoor patios(one by West Alabama and the other to the side). Plenty of parking in the back and easy to get to. Staff is very friendly, nice and kind.
Looking at the cocktail menu I started with the old fashion to then find out they don’t have the ingredients required - this happened with 3 other drinks before I was able to successfully order the Tres Agave - which was actually a decent drink. The manager and staff mentioned that most drinks are “special and popular” and they had run out of ingredients - I take this at face value.
Then comes the appetizer: the meatballs, fried pickles, pitza, avgolemano soup, hummus and pita. The meatball and hummus/Pita tasted like they were frozen or came out of the bag - not fresh at all. Pickles and pitza were ok. The soup was so bad that we returned it after one spoonful.
The chicken skewer was bland as was the Mac and cheese. Highlight was the tatziki dressing served on the side. The side of rice was just awful - tasted like old burned spinach with tomatoes with the rice itself hard to find.
For desert we had the mud pie, soppapita and the red velvet ‘egg roll’ — I would say just skip it. Egg roll is deep fried and made the red velvet taste burnt, soppapita was just a very oily not so tasty funnel cake and the mud pie was decent well the brownie was but the so called mocha frosting tasted like the pudding cups you find at the store.
