Einstein Bros. Bagels

Went to pick up an order for someone. Walked in and went straight over to 2 guys working on something. One was prepping an order and the other was helping another customer. I waited patiently for them to finish up and the first guy finished helping the lady and walked away, so I waited for the remaining person to finish what he was doing before asking to pick up my order. Instead, when he finished his order he started walking away as well even though I made eye contact with both guys and they knew I was standing there. I had to get their attention, ask for my order, instead of apologizing or anything, the man didn’t say a word to me and handed me the order he was in middle of preparing and gave no acknowledgement. Very poor customer service and I would not recommend this location to anyone.

We wanted to try something new for breakfast. Man are we addicted. We both ordered the Maplehouse Egg Sandwich​ which was to die for. They have eggs with pork sausage, bacon, cheddar cheese, Honey Almond Cream Cheese Shmear and syrup on a fresh-baked Maple French Toast Gourmet Bagel.​ Holy crap it was amazing. We ordered to go and it didn't take long at all. The service was excellent and the restaurant was clean and a near atmosphere. Will be going back.

Great customer service and quick, easy pickup. Tis, [ I believe that is her name, if not I apologize] was courteous, professional, and delivered on her promise that my order would be ready on time [5:45am]. Co-workers enjoyed the bagels tremendously. Will definitely order from here again!!

I just experienced eating the absolute best breakfast sandwich I have ever had my entire life. Wow amazing 1st time trying Einstein now I will definitely be a regular. Again amazing and the young lady offered me a free small cup of coffee to see if I will like it. She noticed I was leary of spending money and being disappointed if the sacked. But the coffee was pretty good too. BtW I had the brisket breakfast sandwich.

cold brew shake had chunks of ice in it and was not topped with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle like in the photo. short female worker with red hair gave me so much attitude when I asked for it to be added. avocado toast had barely any avocado on it, and she refused to add anymore avocado (see photo). Service here is terrible. Food is also not good for the price. Silver lining- guy with mustache is super kind and provides excellent customer service

This location has completely turned me around about coming here and that’s because of these three women Kayla, Teaya and Sonya. They give me the best customer service every time I go in the mornings. Had bad experience in the past with one of there managers and let’s just say these ladies changed my mind. Thank you ladies for the constant smiles and on point service every time now!!! Oh and the hot coffee with the toasted bagels 🥯 perfect 🤩

The customer service at this location is horrible. The employee I have had unpleasant experiences with is the AA lady that opens the shop at 5am. She has cheated me out of my order more than once, and she has a bad attitude. I brought this to the attention of the leadership, but they have failed to respond. It's been weeks. I'll just go to Satrbucks or Whataburger.

This is a busy location, with friendly and fast service. I suggest you order online in the mornings Monday through Friday. You won't have to wait. No drive thru here. Staff is always fast and friendly.

We had a flight at DAL, and an Einstein Bros. Bagels gift card, and no Einstein Bros. Bagels near our home, so we capitalized on this. I'm not a bagel aficionado, but I find Einstein Bros. to be perfectly acceptable. I typically get a bagel with a schmeer, Thuy goes the sandwich route. Service was very friendly. Interior like any other Einstein Bros. Bagels you have ever been to, which is to say, rather sterile. Coffee was pretty good, sightseeing even better (see photo).

This is the closest thing to a native New York Bagel. I had the French Toast Bagel with Honey Almond Cream cheese and some Strawberry Jelly. Wow! That was delicious. But what really impressed me was their coffee. It was the best coffee I've had in Dallas so far.

I'm not a bread fan nor am I a breakfast fan. However, we ended up ordering breakfast from here and it all was delicious! I had the Santa Fe sandwich that was made with egg whites and turkey sausage with a jalapeño spread. I really enjoyed it. My only negative feedback is the prices. Way too pricey for a breakfast sandwich. Our total was $80 for four sandwiches and one bagel

Stopped in at this location recently while on travel for work for a bagel sandwich. Immediately, I could tell the guy taking orders seemed annoyed by the prior customer. My order was simple enough turkey-sausage egg and cheese on a six cheese bagel and a bottle of water. Nothing was read back to me, had an attitude to boot and no receipt was given. He then asked if I payed for the bottle of water as I grabbed it I then told him I ordered one and he never gave a receipt so he would have to tell me if I paid for it at this point he threw his hands up in the air and walked off. While I waited, another employee asked if I would like some coffee, and I declined. If you hate your job, go somewhere else it's kinda simple... One disgruntled employee can bring the whole ship down.

The food isn't bad so I have them one star. The problem is it may be the worst run restaurant I have ever seen. It's not because they are not nice or there isn't enough people like some other places, it's because they are horribly trained. They never get my order right and it always takes way too long. If there is more than 4 people on line, I leave. It's actually pretty amazing how slow they are with all the people back there. Also they ask me 10 times what my order is and still get it wrong. Today I ordered 2 BEC and 6 bagels. 5 everything and 1 poppy. I got 5 poppy and 1 everything. Oh, and they asked twice if I wanted them sliced. I always say no because their machine is terrible. Usually ruining at least 2 bagels. Yes, they were sliced. I come back every once in a while because my kids like them, but they laugh every time I come because they know there is no chance the order is right

DO NOT EAT HERE. I ordered the nova lox and there were multiple health concerns with the salmon. The photos are all the evidence you'll need not to eat here.

Out of several bagel varieties at 11:30 am... still had three hours to go. Unprepared management. Trash cans were overflowing. Mediocre bagels though I guess.

Was a regular here from 2018-2020, but then COVID changed all of that with the switch to permanent WFH. On the rare occasion that I have to make the long drive to work, a stop here at Einstein is a given. Fair prices on everything, including coffees and hot chocolate, etc. Make sure to sign up for the rewards program!

Two weeks ago, August 11th, 2022, my mom and I flew from Southern California to Carrollton, Texas to say goodbye to my dad who was in critical condition and take him off life support. My cousin who lives there took me to Einstein Bros Bagels to eat something before what was going to be a sad and terrible day. We arrived 10 minutes before closing and ordered a couple bagels, lattes, chorizo burrito, and a smoothie. Let me tell you, I have never had such an amazing bagel before in my life, and I only got the plain bagel! The mocha lattes were delicious and the two young men upon hearing how amazing we thought the food and drinks were offered to refill our lattes with no charge! We were so thankful and got to talking with the two men who I sadly forgot their names. We were still there alittle after closing and they did not rush us! They were cleaning and talking with us, laughing. They offered us more bagels that were going to be thrown away. I will never forget that visit... I was dreading my trip to Texas due to the inevitable truth that we would be unplugging my dad off life support. And here I was, at Einstein Bagel Bros, eating the best bagel, the best latte, the best chorizo burrito I ever had. The generosity and the hospitality we received from those two men brought tears to my eyes. I was astounded by the incredible kindness from two strangers that had no idea what I was going through that day. Please visit this establishment if you are in the area. Enjoy the little things in life and be kind to one another because you never know what someone else is going through. Thank you Einstein Bros. Bagels. I believe I was meant to be there... The two men that were working at the time was a young black man with hair up to his shoulders. The other person was a white man who had tattoos, one of which was of a grim reaper on his bicep. Amazing people.

We love the bagels here!! Especially the lox with cream cheese!! So fresh and delicious!!

Big Mistake ordering from this location!! Door Dash has been sitting there 30 minutes waiting for our order! It still has not been started! We have a houseful of hungry guests. The poor Door Dash person is not making any money just sitting there. We have called the place multiple times and they are not answering the phone! Door dash is debating on canceling the order. He makes no money for all his time and patience waiting there! My guests get no breakfast! I will never order from this location again!!! New Management must be done. Customer service is not even worth a 1 star! Never order from thus location!!!

Bagel was great! I got an avocado veggie sandwich bagel (or whatever the closest option to that is) on the spinach cheese bagel. Sooo good. Had good convo with the cashier too.

I had a wonderful first time experience at Einstein Bros Bagels! We went close to their closing time for lunch and Harrison was so helpful and accommodating. A huge thanks to Harrison! I ate a very filling avocado veg bagel and my husband had a cold brew coffee. Both were great. There was no line, it wasn't crowded, good food, and great customer service. So definitely 5 stars and I would eat here again!

No stars. Went to go pick up a DoorDash for 2 people at 11:21am. During the 30 minute wait time, I asked twice how much longer it would take before Deborah order was ready. The black guy cooking then says he is tired of door dash drivers and the confrontation began from there. He told me to JUST WAIT! Called me a bitch. Called me a ho while I left out. It's messed up bc nothing is going to happen to him. The manager didn't say anything to him bc I'm sure he's scared of him. I wouldn't even pick up another DoorDash here let alone my own food.

So disappointed in their bagels! They do nit have the texture or density of a bagel at all, some sort if mushy, squishy bread with large holes inside!

AVOID! WE placed a simple order: bacon, egg & cheese on a plain bagel, 2 coffees and an ok. The beverages were not delivered. Only the sandwich. And, the egg had so much pepper in it that I could not eat it! What a terrible experience. If you can't operate this franchise properly...CLOSE!

Worst customer service EVER!!!!!! Not a single word spoken to me & the guy restocking cream cheese creepy leering! Stay far away !!!

My boss usually brings us bagels from here in the a.m. sometimes, but I really wanted a bagel this morning so I stopped by and grabbed a bakers dozen w/ two shmears. It came to $15 and some change...not bad! The foh worker's were really nice, especially the lady who checked me out. She had such a positive vibe. I wish I would've remembered her name.

Took 25 minutes from the time I walked in the door to place my order. This is unacceptable for any establishment. To their credit they were woefully understaffed and they did their best. When situations like that arise ownership needs to get in their and roll up their sleeves. If this was my first time at this location, it would have been my last. Do better.

Super disappointed with Einstein Bagel this morning. When Mark is gone the whole ship sinks. I arrived at 7:00 AM to get a bagel to celebrate that it was Friday. It took 15 minutes to get my bagel. When I get my bagel and open it up at my office, I wonder why they call it shmear if they are only going to dab it on. There is so little of the shmear on my bagel, I can actually see the bagel underneath it. It is a shame that the place cannot hold it together when the manager is not there. It really makes me sad to see such poor service.

Last Friday, I went into this location to grab some bagels for my team. The line was pretty short when I first got there so I figured I would be in and out. Before I got to the counter I observed the person working at the counter picking out the cream cheese for each customer. When he got to me he seemed to be a little impatient and he told me to check pick out my own cream cheese. I tried to pay him and he told me I have to pay down there although he did not show me what down there was. So, I assumed when they would call my name and I would pay for my bagels at that time. Well no one called my name a guy came around the counter and gave me the bagels. I asked where do I pay he pointed to the line in the corner. Well when I went to pay there were like 20 people ahead me now. I patiently waited in line and I told the guy my name and he could find it at first and after a few minutes he was able to find it. I paid for my bagels and then I left. That will be the last time I go to this location.

If I could do no stars I would. First off whoever owns this business must not care at all about his business. Let's start with cleanliness, it's gross in there filthy I wouldn't even eat a bagel on one of the tables. Secondly the employees look miserable & are extremely rude. Zero people skills they literally act like you being there to order a bagel is an inconvenience to them. It's a shame too because they have good bagels but I'd rather give my money to another business. Don't go here for bagels it's a awful experience.

Bagels were fine. However the place was surprisingly filthy. Floors look like they haven't been mopped in months. We were there early and yet the tables were dirty with food stuck to them etc.

The worst place I've ever gotten food from.They didn't even get my order right.DON'T EVER order here.

This is my "go to" spot to keep my employees happy. They love these bagels. My review is about this spot - they are just great. I've been putting in catering orders here for years for 60-100 bagels and they always provide excellent service. The manager, Mark, is always on top of my orders. No headache, just delicious bagels. I walk in, grab my order, and he helps me load it. I make the drive past all the other spots because I know my morning will be easy and my employees will be delighted. Thanks Einstein!

This location really suck on service. Geeeez. It's not that hard. I called an order in and after 3 staff members noticing me at the counter....no one acknowledged me.

I wanted to throw up when I went into their restrooms.....the floors in the entire establishment are filthy!! There's spots on the floor you could tell would come off if they mopped and took care of it. It was gritty under my feet everywhere. The ceilings in the women's restroom are almost falling in with brown stuff coming from them. The ceilings even have that in the main area! So nasty. Cleanliness, being sanitary and food go hand in hand. Barf!

The best bagels in Texas Great costumer Service Rachel is great she too helpful , she provided every thing me and friend needed although was time for her to go home She made sure that our order goes perfectly on time , thank you Rachel Miller excellent costumer service , your a great asset to the store .

As much as I REALLY want to give them 4-5 stars for effort, they're just not there... yet. The manager of this location is clearly trying very hard to bring this Einstein location up to par. He's incredibly personable (ie, a "welcome to Moe's!" style greeting to everyone coming in the door) and wants to make every customer satisfied. He gave me a free coffee once because I had to wait a whopping 1 minute for someone to ring me up. It was an overly generous gesture, and I'm hoping he doesn't make it a habit (too many freebies = no profit and bye bye post Saturday long-run lox and bagel for me!) I think the staff is either newly acquired or needs some training, but from watching the manager's interaction with them, he's trying to increase efficiency. They just don't have the weekend breakfast/brunch rush down yet. Overall, nothing special other than the normal Einstein fare. A nice outdoor patio area, large seating area inside, and more convenient coffee station than most other locations. Don't expect to see it from the street - it's hiding in the far corner of the shopping center.

I've been coming here for three years and the service is awful every time. They've completely changed their staff over multiple times during that period, and it always gets a bit better at first and then goes back to normal. If there is one other person ahead of you expect to wait 30 minutes to get your bagel. I need to learn my lesson and find a new place to get bagels, because this location continues to disappoint.

I had a wonderful breakfast bagel with spinach mushroom and Swiss cheese and one egg on an everything bagel. The bagel had a nice crunch biting into a soft center which to me was perfect. The employees there were very friendly and worked quickly to get your order prepared which is nice for those who are on the go or just super hungry. I don't know why this spot has had low ratings so know that you will have a delicious fresh bagel anytime you go. They have PLENTY of flavors to suit everyone's taste!

My favorite place to sit and eat a bagel and enjoy the vanilla hazelnut coffee. I typically come on the weekends when I have time to wait and take my time. I love the honey almond schmear! There have been times I've had to wait but this location never seems to have a lot of people working and seems popular on the weekends and I'm happy to wait.

Pretty decent place, I remember my food being kind of dry though, and the service being somewhat slow. Not the worst experience of my life though.

I just wanted to say your employee Anthony, at the 5330 N MacArthur Blvd Unit 100 Irving, TX 75038 location is one of the most friendly, positive, happy to help & take your order person I have ever met. I usually don't leave reviews but his personality is so bright. He managed to bring down a line that was hitting the door and was able to get every single person in that line to walk away from the register with a laugh. Great job to him For making his job and those orders look easy, I wanted him to know he is doing a great job.

Terrible service. It does not take long to put a sandwich together, but they found a way to make it take 20 min. My wife's chicken patty was cold in the middle. This place is terrible. No way I'm coming back.

I'm only giving one star because I HAVE to for this post to even register. This is the worst place to start your day! If you want to be late to work despite leaving 30 minutes early and work only being 3 minutes up the road this is the place to come to. The employees are so slow and countless times I have seen the owner?/manager? just meandering around behind the coffee counter. TWICE I have cancelled my order because it took over 15 minutes....for a bagel! I keep coming back hoping they will redeem themselves and I can get a bagel since I love bagels in the morning, but it looks like I'll be back to ordering a plain one from my Starbucks app. (& guess what: I wrote this post IN line, after 5 minutes and before ordering! Another 15 min+ visit!)

I hate leaving bad reviews... but i've never had a good experience here :( Today, i ordered my food 20 minutes in advance only to come in and be told "well theres 6 people ahead of you, so..." so i waited , another 20 minutes ! for a bagel sandwich and orange juice. only to get it and the order was wrong! thankfully one of ur workers, i wish i caught her name, remade it for me in 2 minutes tops. it seemslike maybe everyone is overwhelmed ? maybe y'all need more employees for the AM rushes ! i love einstein bros but it's always such a process ordering from this location

The place looks like it hasn't been cleaned since it opened. We waited at the front of the line to put our order in for 10 minutes while 3 employees walked around aimlessly. This so called "bagel shop" ran out of 3 types of bagels before noon on a Saturday. If you can't decide what you feel like eating.. go to Chick-fil-A down the street.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Bagel was great and the strawberry banana smoothie made my morning.

Took over 20 minutes to get two breakfast sandwiches. Watched 6/7 customers who ordered behind me get their food first. They also had five people working. Two of the four types of Coffee were empty. The locations in Kansas City I've always had a great experience, but this location was not enjoyable.

We have been enjoying bagels at this location for past 5years. Service has always been excellent and friendly staff. Coffee is most definitely 'DARN' good. Love the asiago with Jalapeño salsa smear.

The food at Einstein Bros is excellent. Without exception, everything we had was very good. I am a huge fan of the Nova Lox bagel. And I couldn't get enough of their fantastic coffee. Sounds like a 5-star review so far. So what went wrong? We went mid-morning on a Saturday, which is probably one of their busiest times. But the chaos and the incredibly long wait had nothing to do with the number of customers and everything to do with the terrible way the business is run. First you stand in line to order. Person A enters your order into a cash register--but you don't pay there. You are instructed to get in the next line so you can pay. That line goes even slower than the order line because Person B--who is taking the money--is also making the smoothies and espresso drinks! So she has to make a drink, take it out to a customer, take money from the next person in line, and then go back to make the next drink. Meanwhile, Person C (located *between* Persons A & B) is calling out numbers for people to pick up their orders. Thanks to this maddening and incomprehensible system, it took us a very long time to get everything we ordered. This Soviet-bookstore model of customer service does not work. Fortunately, there is a solution to at least part of it: Person A simply needs to take the money when you place your order. This frees up Person B to concentrate on drink orders and might even give her a little time to help out Person C. Everyone who works in this shop seems stressed and irritable, and I can hardly blame them. I would be stressed too if I worked in this Kafkaesque environment. As I said, the food here is very good. I recommend it. But if you are in the mood for something from this location of Einstein Bros Bagel, I suggest you give yourself plenty of time. Then you can load up on the coffee like I did. Your mileage may vary.

Slow service and disorganized. One cashier doing too many things. Spent at least 3 minutes on one order. 5 minutes on the next. The man making the food was kind enough to as what he could get started for me. Then the other cashier (with earbuds in his ears) had to be told to cash me out. I think I saw a manager but he wasn't helping what was clearly frustrated customers. But he has time to take a personal call and walk out to take a cigarette break.

The staff is always fantastic,smiling,super friendly,very helpful.The bagels and bakery items are always fresh and very tasty.The coffee is always hot and very fresh. This is the place for bagels and a very good lunch menu.

The food is really good however the service not so much. Everyone seems really grumpy and impatient.

Service is spotty when fully staffed they do good but too often they are not and service is horrible. Really needs a good cleaning. Bathrooms are horrible.

Let me start by saying that I love all Einstein's. I just do but, I come here probably a few times a week, pretty much every time I go to work bc there isn't one near where I live. I have no issues. Food is good and staff is very friendly and have never gotten an order wrong. Mainly, I like the consistency and the manager is super attentive. I usually just order my food and go but, he's paid attention to his patrons and I appreciate that. I will continue to go here for my pre work Einstein's fix.

:-( Sucks that this location's reviews are all over the place. I am a fan. There's nothing more I like in the morning than a cup of their coffee and a bagel for breakfast. I usually come here on workdays and on early Saturday mornings when I'm about to run errands. I love their bagel thin sandwhiches when I just want something light. Their nova lox and bagel is also at the top of my list. It's a big feat for me to praise a bagel shop, as I'm not a big carbs gal at all! But their bagels are just so good - just the right amount of bite on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. I love the variety - they offer everything from the sweet to savory type of bagels. They don't skimp on "schmear" or cream cheese choices either. I think my favorite is the spinach florentine bagel. Maybe I've had good luck because I come in the morning and the bagels are fresh? Regulars who like to lounge around for a while are usually reading the paper, playing chess, and talking politics over the bottomless coffee that is offered here. I always had good luck with the service here - they always greet customers and are very attentive. I would say, come here in the morning to miss the work crowds. Such a shame to hear that people have had different experiences.

Go there every weekend and they're always friendly and make our food delicious! We have never been disappointed at Einstein and will continue to go there for those yummy bagels!
