Goodness, what an experience!
Ekstedt at the Yard was outstanding from start to finish. The fire‑driven cooking gave every dish a deep, smoky complexity, from the trout with vegetable foam and dill to the hay‑smoked sirloin with cherry. A delight for the palette. A highlight was my invitation to see the chefs at work in the kitchen as they prepared my oyster for me. Yum!!
Service was faultless - attentive without ever feeling intrusive. and Yousef in particular was fantastic, I found him to be really warm yet professional.
Would I recommend - yes I would! I will be back, for a special occasion, because this was indeed a very special experience.
