I'm a stickler for prices with being overcharged. I can't stand nickel & diming people to get more money out of them. I used to come to this spot a lot before there were changes to management. I decided to check it out and see if the vibe was the same. IT'S NOT! This place has changed and their are fewer people here. I appreciate the Happy Hour specials - THANK YOU! The staff were sweet too! But the issue I have is with pricing & my change! Instead of giving me the 76 cents that was due as part of my change, she didn't and I was just out that money. It's ok though because it came out of her tip. I usually give $2 tip for the drink, but only gave her $1. I felt bad, but the rest of her tip is in that register. The other issue- Please fix your POS system to give cocktails 1 price! I ordered a Jameson & ginger ale and these people had the audacity to charge me $2 extra for the ginger ale. 🙄 Again, make your cocktails 1 price & don't nickel & dime your customers. So my drink cost me $18 on a Thursday evening! I can go to a bar in midtown Manhattan, order the same drink, and it's half the price! Whereas I would love to support local businesses, especially Latino owned businesses, they need to remain realistic of the area/neighborhood they're in and the people living in it. I expect to pay $18 for a drink if I'm at a club in midtown Manhattan, not Washington Heights after a Thursday evening Happy Hour. I find it difficult for me to come back to support this establishment if they don't fix their prices and charge 1 solid fee for the drinks. I wonder if I order a margarita would they charge me $2 for sour mix? Not kewl! You took your staff's tip money away! Don't be greedy & good luck.
