I'm a stickler for prices with being overcharged. I can't stand nickel & diming people to get more money out of them. I used to come to this spot a lot before there were changes to management. I decided to check it out and see if the vibe was the same. IT'S NOT! This place has changed and their are fewer people here. I appreciate the Happy Hour specials - THANK YOU! The staff were sweet too! But the issue I have is with pricing & my change! Instead of giving me the 76 cents that was due as part of my change, she didn't and I was just out that money. It's ok though because it came out of her tip. I usually give $2 tip for the drink, but only gave her $1. I felt bad, but the rest of her tip is in that register. The other issue- Please fix your POS system to give cocktails 1 price! I ordered a Jameson & ginger ale and these people had the audacity to charge me $2 extra for the ginger ale. 🙄 Again, make your cocktails 1 price & don't nickel & dime your customers. So my drink cost me $18 on a Thursday evening! I can go to a bar in midtown Manhattan, order the same drink, and it's half the price! Whereas I would love to support local businesses, especially Latino owned businesses, they need to remain realistic of the area/neighborhood they're in and the people living in it. I expect to pay $18 for a drink if I'm at a club in midtown Manhattan, not Washington Heights after a Thursday evening Happy Hour. I find it difficult for me to come back to support this establishment if they don't fix their prices and charge 1 solid fee for the drinks. I wonder if I order a margarita would they charge me $2 for sour mix? Not kewl! You took your staff's tip money away! Don't be greedy & good luck.

El Barcito is amazing, from the food selection to the drinks. I have been here a little over 5 times and have had an fabulous time each time. This is a great spot for working from home, watching sporting events and of course drinks in the evening. Gyo is an extremely talented and super friendly bartender.

I'm not a fan of this new bar. The old one was much better. I have stopped coming to the food hall cause they are blasting music too loud every time I come. It's a food fall, not a club. Their events have also been disappointing and the bar is always difficult to get a drink at, I walk away without a drink half the time

A great space and great vibe! A good place to grab a drink with friends and have good conversations! They play music but it’s not ridiculously loud. A fun date spot

The New management seems not able to read the room. The old version catered to the new crowd in the heights. This new version is trying to bring Tijuana to the heights. I dont care for it. If i wanted that kind of environment, i'd go to Jackson Heights

I dont understand how there are people that complain about the music being loud when is the opposite. The only day that can be said is on Saturdays and its only until 10pm when the DJ is there. Every other day the music is at a level where everyone can have a conversation and not have to shout. And to those that find it "loud", there is a very easy solution to that....LEAVE!!!!They are doing the best they can with getting things comparable to the old place. So stop comparing. Geezus

This place is way too overpriced for their food. Literally they charge you 5 dollars each for the smallest and oiliest empanadas ever. The usual price for an empanada at other places is around 3 and at a decent size but this place has outrageous prices for their food. The empanadas are about the size of your index finger and they charge you five dollars each. My experience was very disappointing
