I ordered pargo "snapper" fish, with rice, beans, sweet plantains. It took about 25mins to cook. It was cooked and seasoned well. Good portion of food. The attendants know some English. Price $19.

Love this hidden gem of Honduran food 💖in Queens! It brings me nostalgia of my family. Great food and friendly service. It’s a rare find to find Honduran food in Queens NYC. I recommend going for dinner because breakfast and lunch time it gets filed fast and overcrowded since it’s a small restaurant. They have several chairs and tables for maybe 15-20 people to dine in max.

I gave 1 star out of 5, because the option to give no stars is not afforded. From the time I walked into this food service establishment to my exit, it was evident that getting money out of my pocket had been such a primary goal that staff had missed the mark on aspects of customer service that made it easy for me to decide they didn't deserve my business. Not sure what makes it alright to higher individuals who cannot communicate with the public, but I do know that communication is key in securing sales. When I requested a rag to clean off the table I was seated at, an obnoxious attitude and a prolonged wait was the response. I ordered steak and tostones (fried green plantains), instead, was given pepper steak and sweet plantains. Instead of asking me for clarification or notifying me of the unavailability with alternative options, I was served as if I ought to take what's available. While most customers eat with their eyes, I look for hospitality. Customer Service is about more than just an artificial smile, putting food on a plate and collecting money.

Really disappointed. They told me one price for the food but charged me a higher price at the register. There’s no menu or prices anywhere, so you don’t know the cost until you’re paying. Very misleading and I won’t be coming back.

I went here very early for breakfast. I was surprised alot of things was ready. I paid 9$ 2 small plates of food. Very tasting and very satisfying.

I bought a breakfast yesterday for 12.50 and a small quesadilla 2.50. I paid with card and was told 15.50. I was asked if I wanted a receipt and out of good faith I said no. And now I see this 17.46. I would encourage you to ask for your receipt. I'll consider this 3.96 overage a tip and I'll never return.

Food was def great i give the ladies that but i disliked the refusal of receipt .. they told me that paying cash means no receipt ..???? Also there was a bit of a long wait saw alot customers go in n out

Had the best desayuno tipico. Will be back in the future. My Spanish is rusty, but they knew exactly what I wanted!

Stumbled upon this little gem cause I was attending a Yelp Painting event down the block and needed some food before it started. So glad I stopped on in. Had a plate of yellow rice, plantains, fried chicken cutlets, and beans. Very tasty and enjoyable. Woman who served my plate sat me at my table and brought me a water. Pleasant and friendly. The place wasn't too modern but well lit. Little corner spot with some good Spanish food. If yall ever in the neighborhood stop on in. You will be pleased.

Another great lunch meal was had today. The chicken soup was so comforting and filled me with the warmth I was searching for. My coworker loves the rice and beans. She had that with her favorite pork chop and tried the shrimps. I'm told it was so good. Come here for a great meal with quick service. This is truly a neighborhood vibe here.

The food was great but the customer service is awful. Workers don't know how to take orders, answer the phone mid conversation, and completely ignore you unless you practically scream your order at them.

I was walking by looking for breakfast and this was the only spot open and ready to serve at 8:30 in the morning on a Sunday. Thank goodness for them! They serve all types of breakfast options including a Honduran/South American style of breakfast with beans and avocados. The place is simple, clean and takes credit cards (which believe it or not is a rarity in this section of Jamaica Queens). If you're in Queens and need some early morning eats, this is probably your best bet!
