I gave 1 star out of 5, because the option to give no stars is not afforded. From the time I walked into this food service establishment to my exit, it was evident that getting money out of my pocket had been such a primary goal that staff had missed the mark on aspects of customer service that made it easy for me to decide they didn't deserve my business. Not sure what makes it alright to higher individuals who cannot communicate with the public, but I do know that communication is key in securing sales.
When I requested a rag to clean off the table I was seated at, an obnoxious attitude and a prolonged wait was the response. I ordered steak and tostones (fried green plantains), instead, was given pepper steak and sweet plantains. Instead of asking me for clarification or notifying me of the unavailability with alternative options, I was served as if I ought to take what's available. While most customers eat with their eyes, I look for hospitality. Customer Service is about more than just an artificial smile, putting food on a plate and collecting money.
