Recommend: tilapia tacos*, salsa verde, campenchanos
Good: tamales, barbacoa tacos
Ok: chicken flautas, arabes tacos, lengua (tongue) tacos, tripa tacos
*Probably would have been a 3 star rating if we didn't like the tilapia tacos so much. They were definitely the favorite. The fish was tender and nicely seasoned.
The seasoning and cook on other things were a little hit or miss. Barbacoa had great taste but too salty, arabes were dry, lengua was disappointingly dry and bland. The salsa verde was used liberally to save many of the tacos.
The flautas were nice and crispy but the chicken inside was dry.
The tripe had some crunchy bits that some people might like but I found them tough.
The campenchanos in the flour tortilla were also a bit salty but I liked how soft the tortilla was.
The tamales had nice texture, but the cheese stick inside was strange for me.
