El Buen taco

I don’t often review food trucks, but this one is great. Eaten there twice in the past week. They come to your car and take your orders. Whether it be street tacos, tortas or quesadillas, the portions are huge (and worth it!) Part of the Little Mexico area of Lexington, the place is always packed with customers. The food is made fresh. The green salsa is awesome. The flavors are splendid!

By far the best taco my husband and I have ever had. We always order the lengua tacos. NEVER disappointed!!

Booooo! This place stinks orders six tacos order was confirmed by cashier when they handed off but was incorrect. Cook in the back did not realize I speak Spanish and I overhead how they left it out on purpose. Poor behavior all around. Asked for extra green sauce before we left, even though I had already asked when I orders so I have to assume they charged me for it he only handed me one. So total I had two sauce cups for six tacos and two big sandwiches. Thumbs Down! Tacos were extremely small and had very little meat. Will not be returning.

Still a 100% solid experience. Street tacos and quesadillas and tortas ready in a flash. If this truck is not on your rotation, you're missing out. Don't forget to tip your waitress.

Tacos are good, I'm not a fan of how you order and whatnot but the food is solid. Sauces are good and the meat was tasty. Pretty well sized, just a solid truck.

This gem reminds of taco trucks in California. The real deal. The only downside is I should've bought more tacos.

This place is packed regularly. It's a taco truck right outside of a liquor store. Many times the workers will come to your window and take your order, then they'll bring you, your order along with the sauce. Once finished, they'll come collect your plate and cash. It is only cash, so go to the atm before you come here. Everything is pipping hot and fresh to order. Friendly, fast and delicious service. I didn't get a chance to take pix of my food but best believe it was that yummy! Update 4 days later.... I went on a Wednesday night and the parking lot as always was super packed and the service wasn't as quick as they normally are, but still great food. I managed to get a photo of the tacos this time. I ordered 2 steak, 1 chicken, and1 tripa (intestines) all with an extra side of avocado. Everything was tasty and the green sauce always hits me as it's deliciously spicy but so good on these tacos. Definitely an authentic taco truck!

They have Jowls, Tongue, Tripe, Asada, Barbacoa, Pollo, Pork. They have the best torta. Their tacos are second to none. Both sauces have the heat. Best taco truck. Highest recommendation. Pro tip: they will take your order from your car. You don't have to get out if you don't want.

Delicious authentic tacos with friendly service. Food truck where sweet lady comes out and takes your order. The meats are well-seasoned and not dry. Lengua is always my go-to meat, but their barbacoa is money too. The tortillas are tasty and have a nice crispy to it as well. And the green salsa is honestly one of the best salsas I've had. Great flavor with mild heat. The red salsa has lots of heat so eat at your own risk! Overall, this food truck is a place I'm willing to make a drive for from the other side of Lexington. Highly recommend!

The steak and pork are amazing. At only $2 a taco these are the best. We ordered them for lunch at school. Quesadilla was large and loaded for only $6. Arrange for lunch or a dinner night. Delicious. Authentic.

El Buen Taco is in front of the Imperial Liquors on Village Dr. It should definitely be a go-to taco spot for anyone. They serve tacos and tortas with tacos under $2 and tortas around $6. I got one taco each of tripa, al pastor and carne asada. Tripa - best I've had, I like tripa to be crispy but still needs to be a little chewy, this was great with the (HOT, be warned) red sauce. Carne Asada - wasn't my favorite or best carne asada I've had, but on par with most Mexican places and trucks. It was much improved with the delicious, and mild, green sauce. Al Pastor - it isn't "del trompo" which is to say not cut from the stand up rotisserie also used to grill gyro meat. But it's marinated like normal al pastor and still good all the same. This one was nice with a mix of green and red sauces. Both sauces are great and have a nice smoky flavor as well. All in all El Buen Taco is very good! It's clean, with friendly service and awesome food. I highly recommend this taco truck!

Discovered this taco truck the other day and already went back for seconds. The food is delicious and service is amazing! You don't even have to get out of your car to order.

Purchased about 20 tacos for a small gathering and El Buen Taco completed the order in a short amount of time, and the tacos were not only very fresh, but incredibly delicious. Very reasonably priced, too. I highly recommend El Buen Taco, as it is now favorite place to go.

Best tacos around lex. Corn tortillas are not stopping with oil they're always cook fresh and they're always busy enough to make sure they have freshen up food. The green salsa to calm down a little on the spiciness it's just all spicy it doesn't have any flavor but other than that I highly recommend this place

Have passed by these trucks many times, and the aromas coming from them have been awesome! My nephew told me about them. So, last Saturday, we stopped at the one on Village. Of course, they always packed, so we got there placed our order. WOW! I had the chicken and steak tacos.....WOW! Quick, it tastes exactly how it smells, AWESOME! Give 'em a try.....you'll be pleased!

My boyfriend and I visited this taco truck for the first time this evening. Service was quick and polite. We got the pollo, barbacoa, and pastor tacos with all the fixings. The meat was tender, juicy, and flavorful. It came with a delicious green sauce that was very spicy. I will definitely come back again!

Do not eat here. This place has been on dirty dining 4 times for being filthy! !No handsoap for employees. Meat is kept at unsafe temperatures! Go eat elsewhere!
