El Burrito Taqueria

Great Mexican restaurant. Some tables inside and a few outside. The staff is very nice. Free Chips and Salsa! The food comes quickly and very fresh. We had the fish tacos, which were great. I had the Shrimp fajita and it was huge and great. They gave me extra shrimp at no extra charge. I would recommend for a quick burrito, tacos or fajita for sure!

My friend claims it's the best burrito in San Rafael. I've had it twice now and each time my order was wrong. The chili Verde is pretty amazing. I have mixed feelings about it, but will definitely give it another chance. I do recommend ordering in person though, unless you are a Spanish speaking person.

Chicken soup was fantastic. The fresh juices are also good...the rest was just 'meh' & expensive!!! $65 for 2 small adults & 1 kid....other than the soup hit up a Taco 🌮 Truck for more flavor & much better value. This neighborhood is also a bit sketchy.... more ambiance to be found at the taco truck.

Good food, great prices. I really enjoy the tacos. They make an unusual fish taco that rivals any I've ever had. The carne asada (steak) taco is scrumptious as well. Eating is believing! Nice folks serving good, freshly prepared food.

While there are plenty of good taco shops in San Rafael, you won't find one with better prices. Yep, El Burrito might be the home of the last sub $3.00 taco in San Rafael, or even Marin for that matter. The place serves traditional Mexican Food with a fresh juice bar. The salsas are fresh and bright, the guys behind the counter are helpful and the tacos solid. Even if it's not the best taco in town, you can't beat the price.

Bought a breakfast burrito with chorizo. Had no taste except like panko or something of that texture. This place has changed owners more than folks change their undies. It's really sad cause this was the first place we ate at when we first moved here. The burrito cost $9.98 I never pay that much for my super delicious shredded chicken burritos at "Sonora Taqueria", which has best mexican food in Marin county hands down. I'm only telling you folks about our horrible breakfast burrito, but ill never go back until new people take over. Cause that's how this place works. A big rip off. But the ladys were nice, For theives. Jmo.

Food is good, decent portions and service is courteous and fast. The restaurant itself looks a bit dated and could do with a lick of paint and be a bit more cleaner. Overall a good place to grab a quick lunch bite.
