So delighted we were able to get a table here last night. Such an adorable place with an all female staff making delicious food and taking extra good care of us. Reasonable prices and excellent wine too. I can’t wait to go back. Absolutely loved it. Oh yeah… we ate a ton and had three bottles of wine so don’t let my price point per person worry you too much.

Fabulous place for an authentic Catalonian lunch. We chose from the variety of pintxos available, but there was another menu too. The waitress told us how it works - choose your pintxos: the larger sticks cost €4.75, the smaller sticks €4; and at the end, they charge you with how many sticks you have. All the pintxos we had were delicious, it's just a shame we didn't have room to try everyone.

A vibey fun Tapas experience, you generally have to wait but totally worth it. Kind & efficient service. Standing on the pavement the best! Beers are very good!

Fantastic tapas/ pintxos bar. Managed to grab a table at lunchtime on Catalan National Day. The pintxos were excellent as was the atmosphere. This is the kind of bar we look for when we are in Spain. We enjoyed it so much we went back in the evening!

Best place ever!! The food is INCREDIBLE! Especially the blue cheese sombrasada!! And the croquettes are the best we have ever had. There were six of us and we came back the next day as was so amazing! Wine is also great and service was outstanding. Thank you we will be back!

Great selection of local and regional wines at such a reasonable price. We were in Girona for 4 days and we visited 3 times, Alba and the team were very friendly, knowledgeable and the pinxos were great too!!

Great, cosy tapas bar located in ‘old city’ Girona. Service was fantastic, all wines come with a very generous pour, and the food tasted fresh and delicious. You help yourself to the food, and then pay at the end by counting all the ‘sticks’ that were in the food you ate. Great range of tapas, highly recommend. Maybe not so great for large groups as it is small and they don’t take reservations, but for groups of four or less, El Cafe is a must visit when in Girona.

We had a lot of fun trying tapas dishes here! We got the half plates of patatas bravas, manchego cheese, chicken wings, and the three cheese with jam. The ambiance is laid back and the open entryway gives it a street dining feel while still being covered. Would recommend trying for tapas with groups of 2-4.
