Kettner Exchange Group Revamping El Camino in Little Italy | Eater San Diego

"After opening in South Park in 2009 and moving to India Street in 2010, this corner spot under the flight path at the north end of Little Italy became a destination for drinking and dining well before the neighborhood was a hotspot; with immersive, playful decor it hosted countless dance parties and karaoke nights and served endless margaritas and Taco Tuesday specials. Now renamed Camino Riviera and scheduled to reopen this August under SDCM's stewardship — a collaboration between SDCM owner Matt Spencer and El Camino founder Mauricio Couturier — the redesign leans into the Riviera Maya vibe. Corporate executive chef Brian Redzikowski's menu pays tribute to the Caribbean coastline with wood-grilled prawns and octopus and tacos filled with crab, chorizo, or Sonoma lamb barbacoa, while beverage directors Eric Johnson and Leigh Lecap plan cocktails inspired by regional dishes: the Mayan Underground mixes tequila with achiote sherbet, crème de banane, lime, and banana leaf, and the Bandito #1 combines rum, macadamia, blended vermouth, and mole. Music and dancing will continue." - Candice Woo

El Camino has some amazing food. The girl who seated our group seemed a little sour, but our server Tamara made up for it. She was pleasant, polite, quick, and double checked that everything was perfect. All the food we tried was top notch and full of flavor. The hot sauces we had were delicious too. They were spicy, but not unbearably so. My empanadas were exactly what I wanted—just protein (cheese and meat) and no beans. My friend’s burrito was amazing too. The chips and salsa we got for our table were tasty and fresh. Great Mexican-style cuisine. Plenty of room inside. Clean and well-kept. And our server Tamara is awesome.😊

Google
Amazing restaurant. There is a huge outdoor seating area. Didn't even consider sitting inside. We arrived during Happy Hour and drinks were $6. The guacamole was fresh made with just enough spices to make you want to order another one. I had the chicken fajitas. Huge portion, spicy, and delicious. Also ordered were brisket tacos and fish tacos. No room for dessert. Valet parking is available.

El Camino in Boca Raton is hands-down one of the best Mexican restaurants around! The tacos are absolutely incredible — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they take pride in every dish they serve. The margaritas are amazing too — perfectly balanced, refreshing, and the ideal complement to the meal. The atmosphere is vibrant, the service is friendly, and everything about the experience feels top-notch. If you’re in Boca and craving authentic Mexican food, El Camino is the place to go. Five stars all the way! Happy hour prices🔥🔥🔥

Google
Day 5 Happy Hour at El Camino location in Boca Raton, FL was incredible. The place was buzzing, but the atmosphere was fantastic. We snagged a table pretty quickly despite the crowd. Our server, John, was top-notch. We started with a $6 margarita & a michelada, & the tamarind straw was a game-changer. The food was phenomenal - chips with salsa, pork tamale, chicharrones, & more. We were stuffed, but the flavors were perfection. What a steal!

Update: 12/15/2025 Returned with the wife and I must say, the food and service was even better than the first time, if that's possible..Autumn, our server, is terrific and ger recommendations were spot on! My wife loved, loved, loved the watermelon Sangria! The chicken and shrimp fajitas were a Home Run... but the All-Star was definitely the Coconut tree leches! First timer here and I have one word...WOW! I had the three taco combo without the tortillas ( on carnivore diet) and used the freshly cooked and delicious chicharrones as the vehicle...Home Run! Here's a great tip: mix a little of their delicious house hotsauce with the sourcream..you'll thank me! Definitely returning weekly. Oh...let's not forget the staff, Mathis and Cassandra were Fastastic accommodating my specific dietary restrictions!

Google
What a terribly disappointing experience. I reached out to the manager at El Camino via their website to see about reserving a table for 15 of my employees for a work anniversary celebration. They replied saying I could only reserve a high top if I paid for a fixed menu and drink packages in advance. T phoned and told them we were interested in ordering individually from the menu but wanted to ensure there was seating for all. I chose to simply arrive at 4:30 pm to grab a table but that is when the antics began. I was told I couldn’t be seated without my party being there even though I told them our office was across the street and everyone was in their way. The manager said they could seat is when a handful arrived and when the first 5 of 15 arrived the hostess told me they couldn’t seat is until we had 75% present. All this despite dozens of empty tables and booths throughout the place. When the entire party finally arrived they sat us outside at two separate tables again despite large numbers of open tables that could accommodate us all. Each time I approached the reservations kiosk it felt like they were struggling for no reason at all. When I walked away I overheard them saying I was just going to have to wait and I was unreasonable. My co workers commented that it seemed like they were intentionally trying to avoid seating us. When I pointed out the inside empty large table and suggested seating us there they said that was not the “happy hour” seating! Not sure why they assumed we needed “happy hour” seating and I told them that. It was as if they were making decisions for their customers based upon their own preference. We were intimately seated and serviced by one server. Service was slow and food mediocre at best. Sad because we are so close we could walk there and we entertain clients every day. They need a change in management and much better training. We won’t be going back.

Google
Overall, the place is great for casual dining and drinks. Atmosphere is great, decor is good, and the indoor outdoor sitting options are plenty. The staff is attentive with just the right amount of interaction. Food is a bit salty. Get the big nachos!

Google
Sweet lil spot with a big atmosphere! Fun vibes! Amazing food! Flavor was outstanding! Chips came with a red and green salsa! The queso was the star of the meal! The house made hot sauce is just perfect amount of spice! The tacos best I have ever had! That says a lot because I eat a lot of tacos😉

Yelp
This spot is the place to be for taco Tuesday. Can't beat their happy hour price. Great drinks and food is amazing. Bar staff friendly especially TAYLOR. Not only she made sure I was taken care of, but for my dog as well by getting water for her. Another reason why I like this place DOG FRIENDLY

Yelp
Always a Great Time! I can't recommend this place enough! Every visit is a fantastic experience. Their classic margaritas are the perfect balance of refreshing and flavorful--definitely a must-try. And if you're a fan of seafood, their fish tacos are absolutely delicious--crispy, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The staff here really makes the difference. Bryan and Nick are top-notch bartenders who always make you feel welcome and take care of you with a smile. Whether it's your first time or you're a regular, you're in for a treat!

Yelp
This location of El Camino is larger and less "wild" compared to the location in Delray. Overall the indoor/outdoor atmosphere on a nice day serve as a great backdrop for coming here for a meal or drinks. It's what you'd expect for an American/Mexican restaurant so as long as you enter expecting that you'll be pleased with the food. Lean more heavily towards their drinks and you'll have a wonderful time overall. The portions are pretty decently sized and food is delicious.

Yelp
I am the biggest el Camino advocate!!! My favorite Mexican restaurant chain in south Florida. Each el Camino location varies slightly in ambiance but without a doubt the Boca raton location is my favorite! The outside bar attached to the happy hour area is incredible. And the happy hour and late night happy hour is the best that I've ever been to. For the price point and amount of food and drinks you get, it's so worth it. Even when not on happy hour, el Caminos prices are extremely reasonable. My favorite is the carnitas and barbacoa tacos. I also loveeee getting the brisket nachos for the table. That is so much food that alone could fill 3 people. The drinks are amazing! My go to is a spicy watermelon margarita with tajin on the rim. Half priced drinks for happy hours, can't beat it. El Camino will always be a staple when I come to visit Boca.

Yelp
We came with friends for happy hour and have been to this location before. Our servers, Maria and Melanie, were both very sweet and clearly working hard. They seemed a bit understaffed this evening, as it took about 25 minutes for my drink to arrive after we sat down. We started with chips and salsa. When we asked the manager for more salsa verde, he seemed a bit preoccupied and didn't really engage with us. On the positive side, you really can't beat the happy hour prices! My classic margarita was tasty, though my friend found her blood orange margarita a bit too sweet. We'd love to see the pineapple coconut margarita added to the happy hour menu--it's a favorite! For food, we ordered the carnitas tacos, kale salad, fish tacos, and brisket quesadillas. My carnitas tacos were flavorful and filling, with a nice touch of spice, though I wish they had more toppings. My friend felt the same. The brisket quesadillas were a hit--melty, rich, and delicious. Another friend enjoyed his fish tacos, although one taco had a noticeably smaller piece of fish than the other. He also loved the kale salad, which he said was perfectly dressed with pumpkin seeds, lemon dressing, and a standout cornmeal crouton. Overall, a mixed experience.

Daren R.

Yelp
Commercialized Mexican eatery on Restaurant Row in Boca Raton specializing in tequila and street tacos. The mixed trio street tacos were decent sized but the pork belly were visually amazing and full of flavor. I dribbled the tacos in the El Camino hot sauce - no label on the bottle. The chips and salsa were a good appetizer before demolishing the tacos. The gender assigned bathroom was clean with a Mexican floor tiles and a rustic comunal sink held secured to the wall by large chains.

Yelp
I love El Camino. Point blank. It's an amazing taco place and the happy hour is always a favorite of mine. This location in particular is very fancy, alluring, and beautiful. However, I didn't even get the chance to enjoy it because I came after a late night out around 1:30 a.m. They claim to close at 2 a.m., so I figured I had time to grab a quick taco and a drink. When I got there, they told me the kitchen was already closed and only the bar was open. That makes no sense. You're a taco place. If the kitchen closes at 1:30, then the posted closing time should reflect that. It's misleading and unprofessional. I drove all the way there and came at what I consider a reasonable time before closing. Most restaurants will still serve food if you arrive 30 minutes before closing, so I was definitely surprised and disappointed. The staff was friendly and made a joke about it, but that doesn't change the fact that the hours are misleading. Please update your closing time so customers don't waste their time coming for food when the kitchen is already closed.

Yelp
I had a great time. The atmosphere was great. From the moment I got close to the restaurant I knew this was going to be a good place. The music was great. The age group was mixed. It was busy and people kept coming. This was a nice fun spot to try. My friends booked a table. We were eight. It was a good idea to reserve. We ordered the chips and salsa. It tasted great. The green sauce was good. We then ordered the chicharrones. At first they looked like something straight from a bag, but no that was not the case. They were delicious. They tasted different, as in fresh. I recommend getting them. I got the brisket quesadillas. I loved them. I loved them so much I got a second one lol. My friends were saying that they had a good happy hour special on margaritas. The staff was great. A 20% service charge was included in the bill. The parking, the shops around here have a parking garage nearby. A little closer there is some parking around.

Yelp
I've been here a few times (Boca location) for happy hour. They really have a great happy hour. (4:30-7pm) The drinks for HH include margaritas, espresso martini, and more. Food items available include tacos (chicken, fish, brisket), kale salad, quesadillas, and more. I love their watermelon jalapeno margarita. Their food is very good too.
google avatar

Steve G.

Yelp
This place is always great. Like to go for happy hour as the margaritas are such a great deal... and typically order off the regular menu. Lots of good items. Chicken Quesadilla is excellent. Unless you just want a snack, order off the regular menu... the "normal size" dishes are so much better and actually a better value. For example, a HH Quesadilla is smaller, thinner. The margaritas are great. Always excellent service. So popular, always crowded, hard to get a seat at the bar unless you are there very early. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Yelp
I was in town with my husband for his job and decided to meet up with an old neighbor/friend for lunch at this place. It was a great decision because both the ambiance and food were great. They have plenty of indoor, outdoor and bar seating. We decided to sit at one of the hightop tables under an umbrella outside. It was perfect. The menu offers plenty of appetizers, tacos, fajitas, quesadillas, burritos, and salads. I went with the taco combo, which offers three different tacos, along with rice and beans. I got the gringo, pork belly and shrimp tacos. I think my favorite was the gringo, and then the shrimp taco. My friend got the vegetable fajitas and they looked good too. Service was good from our server, Autumn. The manager even stopped by to ask how everything was. A nice touch.

Yelp
Always have a great time here for happy hour; although, They've gotten a bit cheaper with their options. Tacos got smaller, removed my favorite drink from happy hour menu. Regardless, the atmosphere is amazing and staff is well trained

Yelp
This place is awesome. I've been a few times with friends and it's always a good time. The bartenders are always attentive, the drinks are good and food is amazing. I love the view and that it's partially outside. Definitely suggest checking it out but also maybe reservations. It's always busy.

Yelp
"Love this place and the people! The drinks were amazing and the service was excellent. The food was nothing short of wonderful. Overall, such a great experience!" great people watching too

Yelp
Great Happy Hour food. My favorite was the Fish Tacos. Good atmosphere. Not too loud.. didn't interfere with conversation. Excellent value.

Yelp
My favorite Happy Hour is here at El Camino! Delicious Margs and Spicy Margs with great tacos and nachos!

Vlady T.

Yelp
Did you ever regret not taking a picture before devouring your food? I did. I attacked my steak fajita last night at the El Camino and left no survivors. Their house tap Hazy Ipa (brewed by Funky Bidha) did complement it very nicely. The other impressive item served at my table was the burrito. I was very tempted to steal it from my son's plate and run with it... Only my steak stopped me from doing it. What is left to say about the ambiance? This place is relatively new in Boca but has already become one of locals' favorite places. Although the sexy atmosphere with decorations and lighting may seem a little intimidating to young students... the prices are super affordable for everyone! Great job guys! Keep it up!

Yelp
Probably my favorite el Camino location. I love the layout of this place so much and I love the vibes! I've been here numerous times and I have never had a bad experience. Came here for happy hour yesterday (Friday) and sat at a high top outside on the patio. The weather was perfect and the HH is such a good deal. $3 tacos, $3-4 quesadillas, $6 margs. My friends and I had such a good time. Our server was awesome too. Recommend this place to everyone, especially during happy hour. Recommend getting there at 4 when it starts though if you plan to go on a weekend as it gets busy quick. Also wish there were more bathroom stalls for the ladies room cause the place is so big that there's always a line of like 10 people for the bathroom.

Yelp
El Camino located by the Town Center mall is a happening spot! Great happy hour daily from 4 - 7 pm! During season it's packed!! The restaurant itself is decorated really pretty and the Mexican theme is very classy. Lots of indoor/outdoor places to sit. When the weather is good, all the doors/windows are all open and wherever you sit it's feels like outside. The food is fantastic! All the typical Mexican dishes and also have ceviche and vegetarian options. They have homemade hot sauce that is brought to your table, so tasty. The forest mushroom taco is fantastic!!! So much flavor We also got the wahoo ceviches, simple and delicious. The fish was really good and thin slices of jalapeño peppers. The steak and shrimp fajitas was also great and good portion size! The steak and shrimps was good quality. Tons of parking available. Check it out!
google avatar

Yelp
Went to try their brisket nachos and they were huge....a mountain of chips, melted chips, pinto beans, brisket, guacamole, salsa, and more.... The size of the plate was very large, but the quality of the nachos was just average...the brisket was dry, the chips at the bottom had no cheese, the overall taste of the dish was not memorable. We did have a nice table outside and a great server. Overall a forgettable experience....

Yelp
My Late night stop was an excellent 1st time visit at this location. A Beautiful new facility. Big open layout. I sat at a HiTop table in the bar area and had excellent chicken enchiladas with refried beans, rice w/ salsa verde sauce. Great plate! Delicious! Chips and Salsa were great. Served warm, a big thin crunchy fresh chip. Few types of salsa. One I didn't like but the other was great. Side of Guacamole was Excellent, fresh & delicious. Highly recommend. Overall I give this visit high marks. Service was outstanding! I'll be back!
google avatar

Kim G.

Yelp
I ordered only from the happy hour menu because i like to see the quality difference. Cocktails were delicious and worth every penny. I ordered the guava-habanero margarita but with regular agave. Scrumptious. Chicken quesadilla was awful. It tasted like dark meat mainly and tasted fatty like the skin was left on and a few bone fragments. Chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. You get two bowls of salsa .... the red was hottttt .... and the green was amazing ... mild a little sweet but still a kick. The kale salad wasn't even worth the $5 tbh. Firstly it was spinach not kale and no dressing so the cheese just fell off. The pumpkin seeds were yummy tho. All in all I'd revert to the main menu next visit. I've eaten at Las Olas location several times. Stunning restaurant... gorgeous layout and decor .. huge bar...... very impressive
google avatar

Yelp
We went for happy hour and were super happy! We had a large party (8) so we did have to wait an hour for happy hour seating. But there is a nice water feature with some benches and things in the square and some of it has shade at least at the time when we went. The food was great and SO fast which was helpful because we only had about 30-40 minutes to order before happy hour ended.
google avatar

Troy C.

Yelp
Wow I really enjoy El Camino! I have never been to this Boca location, only the Las Olas Ft. Lauderdale one so it was great to finally see it! They have a huge outdoor bar and indoor bar as well as a ton of seats and free parking which are all big positives! It was super hot out during the day but we decided to eat under the shade on the patio! We ordered the chips and guac as a starter which was great and then I ordered a burrito which they do so well here! When my burrito arrived I noticed it was not carnitas like I ordered and was some form of spicy ground beef. It made me quite disappointed and it was a bit too spicy for my liking. I didn't want to complain since everyone else had their food at the table, but I wish I had the carnitas like I ordered instead. I definitely would come back here! I love El Camino, they have a great happy hour and the have a really good menu for pretty affordable prices! Such a great addition to the Boca Raton area

Yelp
We went to El Camino for Happy Hour. There was a wait for Happy Hour tables that would actually make us miss happy hour so the other option was for "regular" seating. Either way, no Happy Hour. For reference, I got there at 5:15pm and happy hour starts at 5 and ends at 7. There were 8 people ahead of us for Happy Hour and the hostess said we would miss it since people had just been seated and there was a wait. So, we opted for regular seating. They sat us at a table along the wall. It's one long booth with various tables and reminded me of crowded NY restaurants. People could hear us, we could hear them and the tables were too close for comfort. The guy at the table next to us sneezed and I caught some of that. We were that close. The chips and salsa were my favorite. Fresh chips and home made salsa. Delicious. I had the cheese quesadilla. It's cheese in a tortilla...nothing special. My friend had the burrito bowl. It was good, just nothing special. Now, what was special was the Espresso Martini that I had. I asked them to add Baileys and it was off the charts yummy. I had the tequila version. The place is completely open and although it was a cool night, it got crowded-hence it got hot. The prices are fine. The Happy Hour prices are insanely low so I get the crown and wait but I've never gotten somewhere and not been able to partake in a Happy Hour during Happy Hour so that was a bummer. The service was good, not great but good. To me, this place is not bad but it's also not memorable. It's a glorified Chipotle hay serves alcohol. Nothing truly Mexican about it outside of the picture of Frida they have at the entrance. If you're looking for a franchised, over-rated American version of Mexican then this is for you. For me,it's meh but I'll let you decide.
google avatar

Yelp
Yum yum yum. Service today was a little slower but still good. Only got chips and salsa and some of the chips were really soggy ;( Still will come back tho.

Yelp
I wandered in to this cute little spot nearby my hotel coming from the Town Center. I wasn't sure if it would be worth it but as I went to sit down I was greeted by the biggest sweetheart Carlos! He was super knowledgeable when I asked about the happy hour that was moments upon us...see, I'm a pescatarian and Mexican places can be a bit of a struggle for me. Luckily, Carlos knew exactly what I could eat there. I enjoyed one of the best original margaritas I have ever had! In addition to Carlos' recommendation of the kale salad, crispy fish tacos, and three cheese quesadilla-I left so full and happy! 10/10! Thanks for being so accommodating Carlos! I will be back again, next time I'm in town!

Yelp
El Camino in Boca Raton is my go-to spot for a fun night with friends! I've been here four times now for dinner, and every visit has been a blast. Last week, I went with a group of friends and we kicked things off with pineapple and coconut margaritas--so delicious and refreshing! For dinner, we had the carne asada tacos and the queso--both were amazing. Shoutout to our server, Sarah, who was super quick, friendly, and on point with everything. Great food, great drinks, great vibes. We'll definitely be back soon!
google avatar

Yelp
Our office holiday party was held here. We had a good sized table outside, and the weather was perfect for outdoor dining. We started off with some cocktails, that everyone enjoyed. I got the pineapple coconut margarita, which was very tasty. We ordered a bunch of appetizers for the table. The brisket empanadas and guacamole was fresh and flavorful. All of the food is made from scratch, and you can taste the quality. I got the brisket quesadilla, which they can make with or without their salsa (which is a bit spicy). They also make their own hot sauce, but I didn't get a chance to try it. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, and handled our orders well, especially for some of us that had food allergies. There are definitely a few dishes that I'll want to try the next time I go. Everyone in our group was very happy with their food and drinks.

Noelle M.

Yelp
Another top gem in Boca Raton! We went here just because the place looked beautiful. And open air concept with beautiful lighting and decor. The food matched the ambience. We started with the chips and guac, which was fantastic. Had a pineapple margarita that was recommended by our waitress and I'm so glad she did. Had a chicken fajita, a quesadilla, and an enchilada for our table of three. We all shared and loved it! We will definitely be back. Our servers name was Autumn - she was fantastic!!
google avatar

Wil S.

Yelp
This establishment is more known for their happy hour and reverse happy hour specials. Drink forward type establishment that hits all the necessities for a fun time out with friends. Food is definitely an afterthought or ancillary to the experience. Tex-mex cuisine reminiscent of failed Tex mex chains (ie chi-chi's) but with modern vibes. Service is fairly consistent given how packed this place can get. Lite American "mex" snacks and margaritas is the move. Definitely seek elsewhere for authentic Mexican.

Yelp
Finally took my wife to try El Camino in Boca. She's been wanting to try tacos here for sometime and today was the day!! This location is pretty big and have lots of outside seatings. It was super nice out today so we asked the hostess to sit outside and she was very nice and friendly. She took us to our table and mentioned the $6 Margarita Monday. Our server Daya was also very nice and friendly, explained the drinks and some of the food dishes. We ordered the Wahoo Ceviche, the Pork Belly tacos and the Combo Taco Plate (we chose the Carne Asada, the Pollo and the Chorizo). And some Margarita as well. Margarita tasted very good and refreshing. Wahoo ceviche was also very tasty!! We loved the Pork Belly, the flavor was delicious and cooked perfectly! Moist and tender inside and crispy on the outside. We had a wonderful time at lunch and our server Daya was awesome!!

Vasthy D.

Yelp
Went there with some friends and had a really great time. The short rib birria tacos were the best I've ever had, the meat was very juicy and well seasoned. It was a little bit crowded but it was not too loud so the ambiance was just right. We had a great server who was very attentive. Overall, it was a really good experience and I can't wait to go back there.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow first time here. Amazing staff lots of food and drink specials. Cooked fresh and to perfection I don't like guacamole but there's was well worth it and so good lots of seating inside and out.

Yelp
My boyfriend went there last night and because they offer In the biz discount for restaurants workers and we had asked for a discount at the end. The manager came over and gave some of us the discount but he refused to give it to my boyfriend and said that he took too long.we provided him with prove of employment and he refused and said no its personal. So why offer if u dont want to honor the in the biz deal. The manager is rude.

Yelp
El Camino of Boca Raton is a authentic Mexican style food. They have really spacious and classy outdoor seating. Very relaxing atmosphere with a fountain in view. The interior was really nicely decorated. The menu had a lot of food options. I ordered the guacamole and chips that were very tasty. The chicken burrito was large and very good. I would definitely order that again. The service was excellent. The location is perfect by the Boca Raton mall. I will definitely revisit in the near future.

Yelp
9/12/24-went for lunch. Nice big booth. I believe our super sever was Ilana ( it's says that on the reciept). We orders few drinks, plus the chips $5.00. ( came warm ) .I had the watermelon liqueur w/ Tito.. plus they have fresh squeeze of all their juices .i had the Brisket Enchiladas, my friend had the shrimp tacos. Thank you to our server, she was awesome, made the meal that much better.

Trent B.

Yelp
Bus the bar. Nothing screams I don't give a shit more than dirty plates on the bar for extended periods of time. Multiple empty seats at the bar , multiple bartenders chatting with each other yet still dirty plates remain where the previous diner had been. In addition how long and how many eye contacts does a non busy bartender need before approaching a customer? At el Camino it's at least a half dozen minutes and eye contact. One would think by your behavior diners had no other options in Boca. I was disgusted.
google avatar

Bruce S.

Yelp
I have eaten there twice food tastes good but whatever they put in it leaves me very thirsty, bloated and not feeling right They should take a look into that Would not recommend

Dawne A.

Yelp
I went for happy hour, was on my own. Matt was the bartender that greeted me very nice. They have quite a few bartenders. I ordered the crispy fish taco, cheese quesadilla and chips with salsa. The taco was delicious as well as the quesadilla. The chips were fine the salsa I was unable to eat. Margarita was good. The place has a younger vibe.
google avatar

Lizzy K.

Yelp
Came towards the tail end of happy hour with some friends and the bar was super packed. The music added a great lively vibe. Bartender was friendly and served a great watermelon margarita especially for a $6 happy hour deal! Loved the inside/outside spacious setting- slightly bohemian, modern decor. We were seated just shy of an hour. I ordered the chicken quesadilla which was super meaty, would have liked some more cheese though. One of my friends ordered the burrito which got a special photo op since it was huge. Clean bathrooms.

Yelp
Really great happy hour (as well as dinner) restaurant. Lively vibe, huge wrap around bar, friendly servers and bartenders. $3 Tacos, $2 chips and salsa, and $6 margaritas for happy hour - can't beat it. The smoked brisket burrito is massive - hearty and filling. El Camino is a mainstay in my rotation!

Yelp
The half-price drinks happy hour is a good deal for the area- $6 margaritas and $4 draft beers including craft selections. Bar was absolutely hopping then. We enjoyed the food and portions were extremely generous for the price but could've been a bit less salty and spicy (or at least tell us the spice level up front on the menu). Service was good. Would come back to try some of the tacos.

Yelp
Went here for happy hour with a few friends. Busy! But we snagged a table and it was great. Really pretty restaurant, good service, good strong drinks for half price, cheap food that was really delicious . I had a coconut pineapple margarita that was very tasty and strong. $6. Then we had a huge plate of chips and salsa, $2. Chorizo taco, $3. Brisket quesadilla, $5. Really delicious. Nobody rushed us, will absolutely be back. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Our server, Anna, had great energy and knowledge and was extremely attentive. The short rib empanadas had a divine crust that had a perfect crunch and was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The taco trio was beautiful to the eyes and the palate. An unbelievable selection of tacos to choose from! Finished our meal with the Nutella flan, on the firmer side of the flan spectrum with a layer on Nutella and topped with fresh whipped cream . The only downside is that I forgot to take photos. All the food looked too good to wait!

Yelp
I was initially super impressed when I walked up. Such a beautiful place with a great ambiance, and I was excited to try it out. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. The food took forever to come out, and our server, who was very nice but clearly stressed, came by twice saying she didn't understand the delay and would check on it. Eventually, she said it should be out soon, but another 15 minutes passed. Meanwhile, a table seated after us got their food quickly. When our food finally arrived, it was disappointing. The guacamole lacked flavor--even basic salt--and I had to add salt and lime to make it edible. The drinks were good, but the food just wasn't up to par, especially considering the price. To add to the frustration, I received a call the next day to ask about our experience, but the caller left no name, just a number. I tried calling back three times and never got an answer. Such a shame! I left this place super disappointed and, unfortunately, won't be going back.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my experience at the bar. They were able to explain the details of the mocktails and the specifics of the alcohol component since it is essentially 0% but had a tiny trace or something like that. I don't remember the specifics but the bartender made me feel super comfortable. It was also hands down the best mocktail I've ever had. Tasted like an actual margarita. The food was good but I personally think it's over priced for what it is. For two drinks, chips and salsa, and two entrees we paid around $130 for lunch.

Yelp
Food is delicious. Everything I've tried so far has been great. I like this El Camino better than the one in Delray Beach because it has more room, it's not so tight and it has outside tables which is perfect. The service has always been good.
