Family run, small business in the heart of southwest Detroit. The service is great and I apologize for not posting pictures of the tacos...we ate them too fast!

Hands down the best carnitas and pastor tacos I’ve ever had. My wife and I have been to a ton of taco places in the area and always come back to el capital. They are the perfect size, crisp, and price. Their consistency is on point and you can always count on them. Customer service is top notch, you always get fresh free tortillas, and taco Tuesday 1.50 tacos hit the spot every time. Literal los mejores tacos de Detroit👌🏻

Delicious! Small family run restaurant offers up amazing food at great prices. We had the special the waitress recommended - enough for two to share. It was excellent and we had some left over!

Had two amazing bean and cheese enchiladas and a pop for under $20. The food was delicious, service was friendly, and it was all made fresh and quickly. Great spot for Mexican food!

Really nice authentic Mexican cuisine. The warm salsa with the guacamole was a perfect start for an afternoon lunch.

Wonderful experience. If you like heat, try the Pambazo.

El Cap quickly became our "go-to" for Mexican food in the West End of Richmond. They always greet you with a smile, and offering 2 types of complimentary salsa for your chips is a bonus! We have found that even when a favorite dish isn't on the menu, if you ask they are generally happy to make it for you. Service is quick, and the wait staff are attentive. Prices are very reasonable, and this is definitely a family-friendly restaurant.
