Highly recommended! This cozy, charming restaurant is owned by a powerful and friendly woman. The bartender crafts the best margaritas we've ever tasted. The food is delicious and fairly priced. Be sure to make a reservation in advance cause there are not that many places. We had a great evening over here!

Such an authentic and vibrant restaurant. We had super tasty cocktails at £6 each before 7pm and 2-4-1 Taco’s on Tuesday. So flavoursome, incredible value and would highly recommend this gem!

Such a great place to go for Mexican food! Riley provided such great service and the other staff were absolutely lovely. I had the mushroom tacos and these were incredible- as a vegetarian I did not feel like I was missing out. My friends who had meat options also loved theirs. The margaritas are amazing and so many marg options! Definitely worth a visit!

One of the best Mexican restaurants that I have found in London after looking for many years. We had a great experience in this place, it our first visit on a Tuesday tacos and we have a great experience. All the food is delicious, and we highly recommended the ceviche, los tacos al pastor and the cheese quesadillas. And to make it even better the margaritas are amazing, specially the spicy margarita that blow my mind! We highly recommended this place 👍🏼⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Highly recommend the tuna tosdana. It’s probably the best one I’ve tried. The king prawns al tequila was great too. Not sure if I’d recommend the cactus taco but worth a try. All in all very pleased with the food.

Showed up for 2-4-1 Taco Tuesday for a quick bite. Tried 4 types of tacos on the menu and was delighted by all of them. The Cochinta Pibil (slow cooked pork marinated in achiote, cooked in orange juice) was exceptional. It made me put down whatever I was reading on my phone (typical solo diner I know) and just marveled at the juicy, wondrously flavors in my mouth. I finished them off before remembering to take photos. The Pollo al carbon was my second favorite out of the four. British chicken is pretty bland in general (assuming that’s what they used) I applaud any chefs that can somehow manage to bring out the delicious flavors of British chicken without needing to rely on excessive spice marinate. The flame grilled char topped with crunchy pickled red cabbage added the magic touch to this taco dish. As for the cocktails, can’t go wrong with a classic margarita. Sensational. It was sweet but well balanced out with enough mouth puckering acidity from the fresh limes. Nothing is worst than a weak tasting, over-shaken margarita, and this one is not at all that. It hits the taste buds in all the right ways. Highly recommend all to end Tuesdays with belly full of tacos at El Cenote.

Authentic Mexican! I’m a 3 month pregnant Mexican craving a bit of homey food and this absolutely did it for me. Daniel, the chef is amazing. For me, the cochinita and the mole truly made me feel closer to home!

Wonderful day celebrating our friends birthday today. Superb food and hospitality from the team at El Cenote. The mezcal treacle, spelling out happy birthday was the best! Sacred Tamarind cocktail was so delicious. Thank you everyone for a great experience
