The food and service were great. The beef was tender and flavorful. The refried beans were the best I had. My only minor complaint was that the restaurant was very dimly lit hard to read the menu, and our table was wobbly. Other than that, I would definitely come back when I'm in the area.

Google
Solid 4 stars. Quesadilla was pretty good overall, with fantastic seasoned chicken and good cheese. However, the tortilla seemed like it had been fried in oil, which was completely unlike any quesadilla I've had before (and I've had a lot!). I personally don't like this as much since it makes the whole thing a lot 'heavier'. Service was fine. We went around 2pm on a Sunday. Would like for them to update their prices online to be accurate.

It's fine. Good service. Lengua tacos with broth best thing we had. Their homemade hot sauce is slamming too. Guac needed some garlic and herbs or something. Salsa was tired. Steak on our tacos was lazily carved. Sticky menus. It's never crowded, which is nice, but I can see why. 4 stars because the staff is super chill.

Google
Excellent food, friendly and attentive staff. The chicken enchiladas and fresh guacamole are delicious. Service is fast and the food is fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Service was great Good was average Margaritas average Drinks average Maybe I got a bad night

Google
This place was great! A bit on the pricier side: for $6, I expected more than just 1 empanada (maybe 2?), but boy was it delicious! The dipping sauces they gave me were soooooooo good, ESPECIALLY the Chipotle Mayo. And our waitress Leo was beyond amazing! She was very kind, attentive and always within reach! Will defenitely be going back and requesting Leo. 😀

Google
All the servers are very nice but sometimes slow to come over and slow to clear plates. But food is excellent! Drinks are great too! Very kid friendly and love the atmosphere. We dine here often and have loved it everytime

Yelp
We ordered apps and drinks first which both came out fast but our entrees took over 45min which was ridiculous. They were pretty busy on a Friday night but still had some empty tables. The guac was massive and I like that you get free chips and salsa. We got a variety of margaritas which were made well and not too strong but not weak either. I'm a sucker for enchiladas so those were good and the churros weren't bad but the sauces were cold (?refrigerated) which seemed a bit strange

Yelp
We have been here many times it is a lovely addition to Dedham Square. Great place to host a brunch the rustic decor is beautiful. The food does not disappoint and the service is superb!

Parita A.

Yelp
The service was great l. Attentive, friendly, and quick. We went on a weeknight which may be why it was fairly empty. The decor was nice and the space is really large. The food was okay. We ordered quite a bit of food and it came out quickly. The portion sizes were big and definitely shareable! Luis Cano - good but bland. There wasn't too much flavor in this dish. Enfrijoladas qazaquenas - similarly this was bland. Enchiladas - fairly good. Good flavor and good sauce on top.

Yelp
Been many times to El Centro and always have a great meal. Queso, sope, tacos, enchilada, whatever you order, you can't go wrong! A friendly restaurant and staff that is worth a visit.

Yelp
I have passed this restaurant several times like some of the other establishments in the area. I went so that I could do work and have a hearty lunch. I asked for the WiFi password, which I didn't get until I was almost ready to leave. After receiving it, it still didn't work. There was no attempt to continue to try to get me online. I realize it's a courtesy, but so many restaurants offer it especially because of the pandemic. This location is so convenient, I was hoping to make it a usual spot to do work and eat. While that was disappointing, so was the food. The presentation was great, but molcajete was bland and a bit bitter. I usually love molcajete but I was not a fan of it here. The rice had an overpowering seasoning. The chips are house made, but they were a little stale. The salsa was basic fire roasted, but missed some key flavors. The service was so so. The greeting was warm in the beginning with the hostess but inconsistent with food service. They weren't even at a 1/2 capacity. I never got consistent refills or steady rounds of check ins. I believe in second chances for restaurants that are close, so I will go and try some other dishes. If you are looking for a quick taco within a 5-10 min drive try La Taqueria or Chilacates. They won't have the full variety that you get here, but it's a solid move. Hopefully, my next experience will be better. Will keep you posted!

Yelp
We came here on a weeknight. Liked the vibe, the decor. The servers were friendly , attentive and helpful. Margaritas were great. We ordered classic, tamarind and later mango chamoy and tacos for our meals. Everything tasted great. The spicy sauce added an amazing kick to our meal. Churro's were a let down. Not the best churros I have had. Nonetheless, a great place to swing by for some delicious Mexican food.

Mark D.

Yelp
Tamale was mushy, guacamole was thin tasting, quesadilla was two slabs of shoe leather with something melted in the middle, grilled dish was made with a meat that was tough enough to be used in construction. Server was nice and the ambience was nice, fine if you just want drinks and no food.

arta r.

Yelp
This place is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in Dedham. We usually order shredded beef enchiladas with chipotle sauce which tase like heaven. Their salsa is great as well. Very friendly personnel and great ambiance.

Sidney H.

Yelp
I was craving mexican food. I just wanted some good, authentic, rice and beans. Entering the empty establishment, i assumed my food would be tasting fresh and delicious. That was not the case. My rice and beans were stale, and my plate was dark, no lime or anything to brighten up the plate. Lets not talk about how over cooked the chicken was...dreadful. On top of that, the corn appetizer looked like it was made for a 3 year old child. Ive never seen miniature corn for an elote, or served for 8$ on a menu. More like 80¢ for feeding me one corn kernel. I understand why this restaurant was empty. Staff was welcoming and felt taken care of. Food was horrible. Hate to say it but my diet coke was the best thing i got served.

Samantha C.

Yelp
Servers were nice, service was pretty quick, and the decor/ambiance was well-suited for the type of food served. The margarita I had was fine (Cielo Azul), but the food was not very good. I got the Al pastor tacos, and they were not as authentic as the website described. My friend also had a steak dish that contained very little meat and was drowning in sauce. Overall, the quality of the food could improve

Linda F.

Yelp
Just left El Centro and was not pleased with the service at all. We picked our seats but with not utensils and napkins, no problem I just asked but only got paper napkins not the bar towels that come with the utensils. We ordered drinks they were good but did not receive chips and salsa nor were we asked if we wanted any, just whats your order. The food was great but we were not asked if we wanted refills or if we wanted more food or drinks. We looked around to try to order more drinks but nothing, I also wanted dessert but i decided not. I know they were busy because of a street fair but why was it an isssue to get the service we should have gotten. I don't see myself going back but what I did have was great. If you're doing take out or delivery you should be fine for the food but the restaurant was not it at all...

Dayana P.

Yelp
Came here for cinco de Mayo, and was not pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is located in Dedham Center, which is a nice area but horrible for parking on a busy day. The decor is very pretty and welcoming, but not the staff. I waited by the door trying to figure if I get a seat myself or? Ones I figured this out... I began to order. My friend said order the empanadas there amazing, but me being Hispanic... it's hard to please me. The beef empanadas were very good, but the chicken ones tasted strange to me, like the chicken was chewy. The guacamole was NOT fresh, like they make it before hand and add something strange to preserve it.. come on it's guac! Like.. the margarita was really good but $60 dollars???!!!! not very much! If you want Mexican and have no other choice, eat here.

M T.

Yelp
Still looking for some authentic Mexican....this was not it. Ceviche was ok, but in a tomato based soup.... perhaps this is authentic in a part of Mexico, but not what I experienced in the Yucatán. The mole was sickly sweet...almost inedible. Margaritas were good, but also too sweet. And the NOISE!!

Lisa G.

Yelp
Met my good friend here for lunch while visiting DC. It was not busy on a Sunday afternoon but it quickly filled up. We sat outside and got great service. The food and drinks were excellent, too. I got a chicken Cesar salad and she ordered a taco. We both ordered food to go. Fair prices. I would come back again.

Joseph S.

Yelp
My wife and I came to El Centro for our Valentine's Day dinner and it was a great experience. The chips and salsa are great that you get when you sit down, the salsa had a little heat to it which I enjoyed. I was also a fan of the atmosphere, it is a nice open area with relaxing lighting. My wife got a taco salad which was massive and she loved it. I got 3 different tacos which were all great. I will definitely come back here.

Cindy R.

Yelp
Excellent choice for a good Mexican meal in Dedham Center. Had the same thing both times I've eaten here: Carne Asada and a coconut Margarita. On each visit the food and drink were top-notch! Will return.

Yelp
We saw this restaurant highlighted on The Phantom Gourmet and after looking at the online menu, we decided to drive up from Providence to give it a taste. The food and service were both rather good. For appetizers, we started with an empanada along with the guacamole. The empanada was really crispy, and the guacamole was rather good. For dinner, I had the molcajete which was surprisingly delicious. My husband had the Chili Relleno which he enjoyed very much. The only bad thing was the fact that they charged us for hot sauce and then we constantly had to ask for water refills. When I asked the waitress to just bring us a pitcher of water, she brought the pitcher to the table, poured the water, and then took the pitcher back. Oi vey. Nevertheless, it was a nice dinner at good prices.

Robert S.

Yelp
Looked like chips were straight out of the bag then they'll charge you $3.50 for the next round, lousy service.

Mama B.

Yelp
Went here for lunch with my girlfriends today. A really cool looking space with plenty of room so you're not on top of your fellow diners. Drinks were delicious as was all our food. Meals were presented beautifully! Among us we got carne asada, chimichangas, fish tacos and enchiladas which were all delectable! Wait staff was very attentive and very pleasant. I will definitely return for more!

Yelp
I placed an order at 4:40 PM through GrubHub. I was waiting on it for 3 hours. During that time, I received text updates (One was from the driver himself, who said that he'd driven to the restaurant but the order wasn't ready yet. The rest were automated.). At 7:40 PM, GrubHub's automated service marked the order as done and asked me what I thought of the food. Confused, I called El Centro and asked what was going on. They told me that they weren't supposed to be on GrubHub that day, I needed to request a refund from them, and then they hung up. I'm floored. First of all, the drivers' GPS showed him going to El Centro 3 times to see if the order was ready. When I called, this couldn't have been a big shock to them. They must have known that an order had come through a channel they weren't expecting based on the dude who swung by the restaurant 3 times asking about one. You'd think, after the 1st or 2nd time, they'd have the decency to call up the customer and make accommodations. Secondly, when I called, you'd think they'd be willing to sympathize with me. I did place an order 3 hours earlier after all. Even if they thought they disabled GrubHub for Cinco De Mayo, they should be willing accommodate a customer who inadvertently caught the brunt of that not working. But they didn't take my order via phone and try to help me out. They hung up. If they'd reacted to the situation with even basic customer service, I'd assume that they put in a request to have GrubHub disabled for a day but GrubHub didn't do their job properly in fulfilling it. It happens. But judging by the way they brushed me off and didn't care that I ordered a dinner from them that never arrived, I'm guessing they just didn't do things properly and didn't care. I had a horrible experience with this restaurant. I hope it doesn't last in Dedham and we get something better in its place.

Marina S.

Yelp
The rice and beans were cold when they arrived. My meal was so salty, it was inedible. The guacamole is no longer made at your table. It was served cold with no chunks of avocado! My friends meal was just as bad. I mentioned it was her Birthday, and nothing was provided. The only positive of the evening, was the cocktails were good. Needless to say, I will never go back!

Yelp
We have been here twice for dinner and thought that both times that it was just OK but nothing to write home about... Positives: * Good customer service. The manager was attentive during our meal and checked on us several times. * Great ambience and ample seating in the restaurant Opportunities: * The chips were stale on both times we dined here. * The guacamole we ordered for our chips was a very generous portion, but parts of it were brown and tasted spoiled. We thought they must have combined the old stuff with the new stuff and that's why the serving size was so large as they probably wanted to get rid of the old stuff and thought they could camouflage it within the good guacamole. * We both ordered the Chimichangas...my wife and agreed that they lacked flavor as both chimichangas tasted bland. * We had the Tres Leches cake for dessert, but it was stale. We did not finish it all. Overall, the restaurant has great potential and is located in a good location. However, they need to hire kitchen staff (cooks/chefs) who know how to cook authentic Mexican dishes and know the standards of quality of meals. Afterwards, my wife and commented on the drive home that we should try to find another Mexican restaurant to to try out for dinner and take a pass on El Centro in the future.

My O.

Yelp
Food was good, fresh-service was terrible-35 minutes to get order-no one checked in to see if everything was ok-no drink refill, no water refills..after asking for take home container, no one came back with check had to ask twice. Plenty of staff quiet night-no crowd. 7 ppl in our party they automatically add 20% gratuity. Staff standing around on their phones. Honestly had to ask for everything

Carolyn C.

Yelp
Delicious fresh food, great, friendly service & casual, comfortable vibe! Haven't had a bad meal in 3 visits!

Shaq E.

Yelp
5 stars simply because everything on the menu was THAT good. I wanted to eat and drink myself into a stomach ache, it was so good. On the outside, I didn't think much into the place but after dinner, the bill was reasonable, service was great, the aesthetic was on point, the options were extensive but not overwhelming, and so on. My only issue is that it was a bit loud and parking but honestly, you get over it. I believe there is a bank or a residential building across the street with a lot so maybe that's okay for parking but I'm not too sure of the rules. Either way, still worth it!

Gelitza M.

Yelp
Thought this ace was going to be great since its so pricey. The salsa for the chips is flavorless and seems to be watered down. I ordered a fish taco and a shrimp taco. The flavors were good but they were a but skimpy for a $5 and $6 taco. Presentation was horrible. It came out in a small baking pan and it almost looked like they microwave d it... it was microwaved! The waiter was nice but a bit spacey, he didn't ask if we wanted drinks or if we were ready to order. We had to tell him we were ready, he even forgot to bring water even when we asked. I also ordered an coconut margarita which was okay, the alcohol level was there but the flavor was eeh. I dont recommend this place to anyone. Its over priced and the service and food are not good.

Nicole G.

Yelp
Decent service, pretty good food, okay atmosphere, prices are meh, great management. Food was better than I thought it'd be. Though my tortilla soup was enormous in portion, it was lacking in flavor and the shredded chicken in it was very dry. Some salt and maybe a splash of cream or some cheese would have gone a long way. My friend said her tostada (and margarita) was enjoyable. Watching her try to eat it was a little awkward... definitely had to use a knife and fork. Her carne asada entree looked amazing and she gave me a bit of her steak-- it was delicious. It came with generous portions of guacamole, pico de gallo, and refried beans. It also came with 3 tortillas, which I think were too few. 4 or 5 would have been more appropriate. My chipotle shrimp was AMAZING. The sauce... I could put that sauce over anything! It was so damned tasty and it had bits of asparagus and corn in it. A really nice touch. The ambiance at this restaurant is an issue. Though it's beautiful inside, there came a point in the evening when the music got REALLY LOUD. Like, we felt like we were in a nightclub. It was 7 PM on a Wednesday night-- come on. Also, the air conditioning vents were dripping condensation all over and, in my opinion, the restaurant got very warm toward the end of our meal. Because one of the vents dripped on my friend, the manager sent us over a free order of churros (!). They were delicious. Fresh and warm... mmmm. The caramel sauce was the best (the chocolate sauce was just chocolate syrup and the strawberry sauce was surprisingly not-that-good). Totally wasn't expecting free dessert, but it was so nice. The prices are high... I don't know that the food merits the prices, but I'd probably come back here for dinner again, so maybe they do? The service was fine. Server was friendly enough and we were having dinner at a leisurely pace.

Frank B.

Yelp
Well... fingers crossed we are seeing the end of the pandemic and like everyone we're happy to be able to get out again. Wanted to revisit ElCentro for some time now a jumped at the chance. Per usual found seats at the bar( feels great to say that again). Our bartender was friendly and responsive to food and drinks. The chili poblano relleno with barbacoa was perfect, sides of rice and refritos made for a great meal. House and coconut margaritas rounded out a great meal. Looking forward to returning shortly

maithili r.

Yelp
The drinks were awesome and thus the one star. The tables and floor are sticky, the ambience is just ok. The food wasn't good - the salsa had no salt, my tacos were dry and the chicken in my tacos was over cooked. The service was very slow - felt like they had one poor waiter working on the entire restaurant. I'd probably only go back here for the drinks.

A P.

Yelp
Food was amazing but not please with the waiter we had. This was the first time my family ever went to this restaurant establishment. We made our food and beverage orders from the menu which was a great selection of food and beverages and explain what we wanted to the waiter. However, the waiter constantly kept forgetting what my family specifically requested from him on the menu and rarely check to see how we were doing. Although the food and beverages were great. I would suggest to the owner or owners of this restaurant establishment speak to waiters as a friendly reminder about providing more detail customer service. If you want a good tip from customers pay close attention to what the customers are asking check on them to see how they are enjoying there stay respectfully. The food was five stars but the waiter made it one star.

Linda D.

Yelp
Beautiful dining room and bar. Extensive menu. Staff extremely friendly and attentive. Food was amazingly fresh and delicious. Looking forward to going back. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Wanted to be hopeful about having a new local restaurant to hit on a Saturday night. Read many reviews and was not too impressed but the only way to find out for sure was to give it a chance. My partner and I were hesitant to go for a full dinner so we actually went elsewhere first for a light dinner and decided to drop in afterwards for a couple drinks and maybe try a ceviche and a taco or two. Bartender was pleasant. Bar was cool. Overall decor was nice. Our stay was not all that long, but long enough to agree with some of the reviewers that expressed this place was not one to shine. There was a table-side guacamole service which was silly and depressing. A joyless guy walking around the restaurant with his cart was deadpan asking "you want guacamole?" It was strange. He explained nothing about what or why he was doing it or cost or anything. It was almost comical. A couple sitting next to us took him up on it . They watched him make a bowl of it for them expressionless . He then reached between them, dropped the guacamole, ignored them and pushed his cart away leaving them with nothing to eat it with . The couple was confused and then tried for five minutes to get someone's attention for anything to help them eat it! Chips ? Utensils? How about a napkin as well? It was so strange. Back to us: the bartender was going to make us a tequila drink that was not on their cocktail menu, but did not have the ingredients once she started. No problem, we opted for the house margarita to keep it simple. It was fine, and we split a ceviche to try it out. We ordered a spicy tuna ceviche and although the tuna itself was lovely it was in a deep soup of straight out soy sauce. We propped up the bowl on a tilt to separate the tuna from the pool of soy. This led us to rethink ordering any tacos and we were good to go. Upon receiving the bill I noticed the margaritas were listed as one of their upgraded types (they have a few different selections of types of margaritas). It was a $2 up charge on each drink (increasing our bill overall by $8). Another previous review mentioned this issue as well so we were ready to pay attention and they did not disappoint. The bartender revised our bill with no question (or apology) and $8 doesn't seem that much, but it sure adds up to a lot for the restaurant if they are hitting multiple clients for it that don't notice it on their bill. Glad we went to Centro to try it for ourselves, but we won't be back. There was nothing special about our experience and when the bill came it felt shady .

Yelp
Third time here. We really want to like this restaurant but too many things aren't good. First the good- staff are friendly and pleasant, bring you chips and water right away and check if you want a drink. The chips are crisp and salsa is flavorful. Tacos can be a good choice here- various types are offered as singles, which is great for the customer but bothersome for the kitchen. But most every other dish has been a little off. To be fair, the menu informs you of the alternative style that you will experience. The guacamole is fresh but lacks a zip of lime or a hint of garlic you'd hope for and the tomato and onion lacked freshness. The chilli con carne underwhelmed in its presentation, with a flavorless salsa colorado over under seasoned skirt-steak, but at least there were a couple of tortillas. The chimichanga seemed a quickly thrown together mess, without much flavor- my friend wasn't sure what to think. Their tortilla soup (also known as sopa de lima) can be an awesome dish, but here the broth lacks seasoning and enough of lime and cilantro to give appeal, and typically served with thick, crispy tortillas, had thin, skinny strips on the side. Whereas chicken with mole sauce in the Yucatán is typically shredded chicken rolled into corn tortillas with mole sauce poured over the top, they have a decent quality mole with "chicken medallions" swimming in mole without tortillas accompanied by small sides of rice and refried beans. The chicken were not medallions, varied greatly in size, unevenly cooked and lacked the texture you'd expect in pollo con mole. Overall, the food seems hurriedly prepared and although mercifully light on sodium- often a kitchen's solution to flavor- it is surprisingly a little short on Mexican flavors.

J R.

Yelp
The best. Tried the shrimp, fish, and taco especial and they were all bomb. The best I've ever had. I've never had an over filled taco with meat till I came here. These people put alot of meat in there tacos. The best ever . Ill be back to taste the rest of the other tacos. .

Kate F.

Yelp
This place is the best! Great for kids, fantastic drinks, and delicious food. The portions are generous and the service is friendly and attentive. We came for the first time a week ago and returned tonight. We will be back again soon!

Alison D.

Yelp
Was really looking forward to visiting after seeing this place on the Phantom Gourmet. Service was awful. Waited forever for a server and once we had one, they never even came once to see how our dinners were, never refilled the water and when we finally ordered a couple more margaritas, they never came. I ordered a chimichanga, which was bland and not a chimichanga at all. It was more like a soft burrito, definitely not fried as it should be. I definitely will not be back.... There are too many other really good Mexican restaurants to settle for poor service and mediocre food.

EILEEN V.

Yelp
Hated it! Our first time there. The noise level was excruciating because of the high ceilings and a very loud large group of people. Awful when you have hearing issues We ordered the same thing, mine with chicken, my Latino husband's allegedly had beef. The only thing he liked was the refried beans which he usually dislikes. I liked them too. I tasted his beef dish which was teeny tiny cubes of something brown mixed with vegetables. At least you could see my chicken chunks. The beef tasted awful. I kept flicking out the tiny pieces of asparagus out of mine because I hate asparagus. The rice was over boiled, split, and tasteless. No doggie bags for us. Other tables got the table side guac which looked delish. Another person's dinner looked good too. I am not crazy about Mexican food and found the menu very confusing. Next La Taqueria!!!!

Marie M.

Yelp
It's gets 1 star because the coconut Margarita was so good. Serves was horrible! Our waiter (a male) Bar P was clueless! Got our order wrong, twice! On his phone most of his time. Now let's talk about the food, I think only the chip and salsa come out winning! My chicken was dry, and my hubby's beef taco horrible. I will never waste my time coming to this place! Rather drive to Milford for Mexican food! Don't waste your money here!

Daniel R.

Yelp
The food was awesome! We had chicken quesadillas, ceviche with the raw shrimp, and fish and steak street tacos! It was pricey but worth the money. The margaritas weren't amazing though. Too salty and the strawberry was spicy...not to the tasting of someone who likes sweeter drinks. Recommended though, definitely check it out.

Donna M.

Yelp
Food was very good. Had a street taco and a quesadilla, then churros for dessert. Service lacked a welcoming vibe. We asked the owner ( or manager) if we could sit outside. He looked at us like we were doing him a disservice as there was someone cleaning a table out there. Then all he said was that they were cleaning the table. We waited, then sat down. The chairs are not comfortable for men. My boyfriend isn't huge, but his hips were squished so we decided to go sit at the bar. We told the owner we were going to the bar and why. He just looked at us. We got to the bar and sat down. We got a pitcher of white sangria. It was not strong at all. The bartender had absolutely no personality. At one point one of the waitresses dropped a glass jar. It looked like she was trying to apologize to the owner and he just walked away. He did, however help her clean up, but even when done, she tried to apologize and he didn't say a word. I really liked the inside of the restaurant. It would be so much better if the staff had a more welcoming vibe and seemed thankful that you came to their restaurant.

S N.

Yelp
This place is a wonderful sit-down restaurant if you're looking for authentic Mexican food and delicious margaritas. The food was a little less spicy than I would have liked, but my Irish parents said the spice level was perfect. The flavors of each were on point and the service was fast and friendly. When visiting here, I recommend getting corn on the cob and guacamole which they make in front of you. Impressively this restaurant also has ceviche. When I came here for dinner I ordered the el quemadito and it was delicious. My father ordered the carne asada and my mother ordered flautas and all the dishes review tasty were very tasty.

Marco A.

Yelp
I came here with two of my colleagues as a recommendation from another one of our colleagues. It was relatively easy to find being on the corner of a moderately busy street. There is out side seating for nice sunny summer days on the patio area. We sat at the high tables, which were very comfy and spacious. Within minutes we were all provided water with orange slices which was a different twist, and chips and salsa. We all had the house margarita which was a healthy size and nicely shaken. I got the two street tacos: the Shrimp and Fish taco. They were both big and so flavorful. The fish taco was by far the best one, and I highly recommend . It was a generous size, had so many different sauces, salsa, and other toppings that all mixed so well together.

Yelp
Very glad we stopped in! Food and margaritas were delicious. They were pretty busy on a Friday night and the restaurant was a bit loud (poor acoustics I think, for the size of the place sound definitely carries) - but overall it was a great experience and I'll definitely be back. Flavors of everything were amazing and portions were also generous - we left completely stuffed and took home leftovers as well. Our server was from Mexico and the service was amazing - very attentive and kind. We tried the fish and shrimp tacos, one of the quesadillas, and enchiladas and loved everything we got. I can't wait to come back and try more from their menu!

Yelp
Best Mexican I have tried in a long time! I was skeptical, but drinks and food were delicious!

Yelp
Placed looked amazing! But food was so disappointing and cold. Everything was cold; and service was slower than we would have expected when the entire restaurant was empty. It was a shame!! I could see our food sitting under heat lamps!! Drinks were good, and pricey for a Boston suburb- we had street tacos to start and then the ranchero steak and pork Pibil; we left there feeling a "bad full"; I don't think we will go back for food but maybe for drinks... maybe. Truly not the same as the other locations!

Yelp
The service and drinks were ok but the food was meh. I ordered 4 Street Tacos which usually at a good Mexican place means they would get inhaled and scarfed down. Can't say that was my experience here, I took my time with these and actually left two of them almost intact. My wife enjoyed her meal though she got the Molcajete. I tried it also but didn't agree with her that it was good. To each their own as they say! The service and drinks were good so I guess maybe I'll give this place another shot but I won't be rushing my way back there anytime soon

Yelp
Juan and his staff are providing stellar Mexican in Dedham. The food is fresh and delish! Don't pass of the table side gauc! The service is stellar and I can't recommend this place enough! The margaritas are super too. Dedham has been lacking in quality Mexican and they really stepped up to the plate.

Yelp
We gave it two tries. We won't be returning. The service is terrible and the food is just not good. On our second visit, my meal was actually cold. Not good, and actually cold. I ordered a quesadilla, although I'm not sure what was actually placed before me. I do know it was topped with old, brown avocados (please see picture). My husband ordered a chimichanga, his favorite. His dish was also not hot and he characterized it as more of a mediocre wet burrito rather than a chimichanga. Such a a shame, as it's a beautiful space...which reminds me...the exposed venting system kept raining on me due to excessive condensation...in November.

Yelp
I liked it. 4 stars because it is a little too pricey for what you get. For drinks and apps I would give it an A+. The empanadas are to die for. And I also enjoyed the street corn....so tasty. I would go again to share drinks and small plates. They have enough combinations of things that would make me want to try again. I'd skip the entrees...too pricey and small portions. Stick with some small plates to share and drinks. The staff is really attentive. Definitely worth a try!
