I moved to Harrodsburg from Chicago last summer. Talk about a culture shock. I was used to being able to get fantastic Mexican food on every corner, and Harrodsburg is not known for being a haven for culture variety. We tried another Mexican place in town first and was most definitely not impressed. Then, we tried El Charro, and we are so happy that we found a place so close to home that tastes like, well, home.
We have been back once a week for most weeks and have not once been disappointed with our meals. My ONLY complaint is that although they have Horchata, Jamaica, and Tamarindo, they seem to be made from a mix. I would love if they had homemade aguas instead of powdered. Come on guys! Give us our complete experience!
