Do not eat from this location. Yesterday was a disappointing day in NYC as someone that works as a license documentarian and works in the city with NYC PRESS credentials, I was discriminated against yesterday by a young woman working and she got the order wrong. I asked for a veggie burrito and she makes me chicken instead and I had to give it away. The video is online and I would not recommend this location. As I was there, she force me to pay first when I asked her, when did NYC Health change their policies about paying for food first but there were two other Mexican men that order and did not pay her up in front but waited until they check their food and then pay, The same thing happen to the Japanese American person that order. He was able to order his food and walk away and she made his food, as he came back to the truck, he check his food and then pay. But, I wasn't allowed to do either but I was forced to pay up front first. There were times when she understood what I said and now she doesn't understand English, but in the video, you can see her face expressions. She understood and had this sarcastic expression. Many people point this out in the video. This is not the only like where a food truck has forced a customer to pay first and received the wrong food and that includes me. There have been a few times from these food trucks.
But the person I was on the phone with, still doesn't understand that you can hire someone that can't understand the community
and for that reason, she screw up the order or it could be she gave me someone else burrito. What a waste of $14.82
The food was left at the community fridge down the street from the truck because she can't understand english, not going to waste my time of these food vendors not following NYC health policies and it's time for a crack down.
