Small place. Mom n pops place. Food is good. Need to wait as they cook it fresh. Prices are great. Treated well by waitress.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was by far one of the worst cheeseburgers I’ve ever received. Look at this thing dry patty, a sad slice of cheese, and literally no toppings. No lettuce, no tomato, no onion, no sauce—NOTHING. Just bread, cheese, and an overcooked patty thrown together. The fries were soggy and the salad was thrown in like filler. For the price I paid, this is unacceptable. If you’re going to advertise a cheeseburger, at least serve something that looks and tastes like one. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent meal. The pictures on google don’t match!!!!!! ⭐ 0/5

My slice of cheesecake had mold on it. Makes me feel a bit unsure of their health/hygiene protocols. The chicken was not very good; was dry and seemed reheated. The rice was fine.

I was there with my parents and the costumers services was awesome, just had time to my old uncle and my mom to select the food and everything with a big smile and so huge. I’ll back again to enjoy the awesome food, no salty, just delicious flavor. 100% recommendations to them. I love this place.

Been buying here for 2 years, great food at great price. I order the combo #1 for $30, the roasted chicken is fresh and really great.

Ordered oxtail with rice and beans and goat stew with rice and beans. Total came up to $20ish. Didn't take a picture of the goat stew but I took one of the oxtail and as you can see, 3 pieces of meat and the remaining 90% of the container is rice and beans. The food was edible and salty. Overall, would not recommend unless you're okay with eating rice with a hint of meat.

The chicken soup with rice for $6.50 seems cheap but may come at another cost…. It looks off, it looks like it has been there for days… after eating it I had a weird feeling on my stomach…. Now I’d rather spend somewhere else where the quality is better…

Delicious food, great pirtions, reasonable prices and friendly staff. I ordered the mofongo with camarones (shrimp) and the sauce it was served with brought me back to my Grandmas's kitchen.

I ordered off door dash and it did not disappoint. The rotisserie chicken combo #1 meal was amazing and can feed 3-4 people. The meal comes with 1 whole chicken, huge portion of rice, pint of beans, small salad and small box of either tostones or maduros. The chicken was tender, juicy, and so flavorful. I opted sweet plantains instead of tostones and they honored it. I also tried their beef empanada, it's big but flat ish and heavy on oregano. The onion steak was thin but it was a big piece. It came with sautéed onions, rice, and beans.

I order from here every time I'm craving a steaming hot portion of rice and beans. My go-to is the white or yellow rice with red pinto beans, and I usually accompany it with their avocado salad. The salad is usually only topped with cucumber, tomato, and of course, avocado, but this place goes to the next level and adds beets to it as well. I've never been to the location in person, but I've ordered delivery a few times when it's been late, and every time is just as delicious as the last. I highly recommend their avocado salad and rice and beans!

I can't stop telling people how much I enjoyed this restaurant. This restaurant understands atmosphere. Workers demonstrated genuine warmth too. They give portions that become two separate meals. It is clearly not just about the money.

I order from them via DoorDash and wow it is the best lunch I had for awhile!! Good portion and the price is awesome too! I order the pernil lunch and it was a lot!! The sweet plantain was fine just right. Will order here again! The lunch special is the real deal.

Ordered baked pork chops and rice and beans. Delicious! Meat fell right off the bone and everything was perfectly cooked. Only thing though is it could've been flavored better but that may just be me. I will be ordering again. Thanks!

So I was looking for good Dominican food like I ordered in Bay Ridge bklyn . Since I was visiting Mom in Boro park I came across El Comedor. The menu was long with so many appetizing dishes I am familiar with. I decided to go with Pernil ( roast pork) medium white rice, small beans two sodas and three slices of Dominican pound cake. Since I have ordered many times from my own local restaurant I was hoping for the same service with healthy portions. I didn't want to travel so I went with grubhub.This was so disappointing. First off Pernil was dry and not flavorful. The white rice was a regular small portion I would receive with a lunch special. I didn't enjoy the yuca and the cake was so small it looked like one slice cut into two. Food was way over priced and not worth the 50.00 price Be smart steer clear of this place if your looking for healthy portions travel to El Malecon, Campo Bello or Castillo de Yaque but put this on a don't bother list. No stars on this one.
