El Cucuy Burritos

The carne asada fries tasted amazing! And you can get any of their burritos in a bowl, which I was very thankful for! I enjoyed everything here. The drink choices are limited. Also the bands that played tonight were most enjoyable. The people who worked here were nice and did a great job.

Such a cute little restaurant with a very welcoming environment. The staff were so friendly, like it actually just felt like I was talking to friends, the food was DELICIOUS and the wait was not very long at all. In fact the food was so good that my party had to order another round when we finished our plates. I had the Carne Asada fries and WOW. Lucky enough to get to chat with the owner for a bit and really this guy is someone that you want to support. Do yourself a favor and visit this place while in Denton. Or just drive to Denton and go there as the reason!

Mark is a pure artist. As soon as you step foot into his “home” you know your day is about to get seasoned with the most delicious food in the area. Every bite was pure happiness and an explosion of taste! My husband and I have traveled quite a bit, we’ve had some amazing food in the past! When we settled in Denton, we truly thought we’d never find a place that would bring back those late night Cali burrito runs. I truly appreciated the atmosphere and the welcoming environment Mark has created for every guest, Our go to place, El Cucuy Burritos, we’ll see you guys again and again and again! Thank you

Had the El Cucuy, it was pretty good and filling. Staff was super cool and place was very clean. Food was really good for a local spot, but a bit overpriced. It was about $15~ for a burrito and drink, which I don’t feel the portion size fits that price.

Just tried the Carne Asada Fries and they were absolutely AMAZING! The flavors were perfectly balanced, the fries were crispy, and the carne asada was cooked to perfection. Literally 10/10. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal in Denton! ❤️

Best burrito I have ever had in Denton! We got the El Cucuy carne asada burrito and the carne asada cheese fries. Killer food! So tasty. The burrito is done San Diego style, so it has fries inside it! Yum. They also have spicy red and spicy green salsas that are great. This is a great food truck on North Austin Street. Tasty stuff.

First time trying them out, had heard good things about their Food Trucks. The name was the 1st thing that caught my attention, & I continued to be amused by the clever/creative menu items. Started out with Queso Blanco, & ordered Sweet Tea & SANDIA Agua Fresca-SO GOOD!! 🍉 Ordered the Vegan Burrito- El Impostor WOW!! Fresh ingredients, good portion, great flavor!! Love finding a place with solid Vegan/Vegetarian options!❤️ Wife ordered La Suegra, which is the chicken fajita burrito...EVERYTHING was delicious! Staff was very friendly, & helped us navigate through the menu. Grill guy heard us ordering, & cut our burritos since we planned on sharing. Turns out he is the owner, really nice guy! Took a tour of the space, good seating options, as well as patio area. Excited to bring friends, & try more items on the menu! We ended up getting another Sandia Agua Fesca, to go. We will be back soon!!
