Mexican restaurant with tacos, enchiladas, and margaritas

"El Dorado Cantina at Tivoli Village offers street tacos and the more dressed-up signature tacos. For platters of street tacos, mix and match supple al pastor with pineapple, cilantro, and fresh avocado salsa — or tacos filled with marinated pulled chicken, queso fresco, and pico de gallo. Signature offerings take the form of lobster tacos with chipotle ranch and guacamole or indulgent filet mignon tacos with chimichurri." - Janna Karel

"I note that starting at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 4 the Tivoli Village location will host a block party with a DJ, a beer garden, an outdoor margarita bar, a street taco stand, and an outdoor area with cornhole and other games." - Janna Karel

"Open bar packages from 9 p.m. to midnight are available starting at $50 per person. Bottle service will be available along with a chef’s special mole blanco pan-roasted sea scallops ($39), in addition to full menu service. After the countdown, a complimentary Champagne toast will be offered at all locations." - Janna Karel

"The Mexican restaurant at Tivoli Village that housed these hidden concepts continues to use the former speakeasy area as overflow and for events such as tequila-pairing dinners and private bookings. I noted that one of the hidden concepts' menus was distinctly more progressive and fusion-driven than El Dorado's offerings, and a spokesperson said the Chancellor closed to seek a larger venue due to overwhelming demand." - Janna Karel

"A Mexican restaurant that began its life as the next-door neighbor of a notorious Downtown gentleman's club (and was so delicious it began drawing a mainstream business crowd for power lunches, and eventually relocated) El Dorado kept the same exuberant, clubby decor to liven up this part of the Tivoli Village shopping area in west Las Vegas . Star lanterns, walls of dark red roses, a great bar, and big red leather banquettes make for one of the liveliest brunches in town. Favorites include a restorative green pozole with all the garnishes on the side (beware the chile oil); the "Macho Benedict" with chorizo and Fresno chiles, and colorful huevos divorciados (the salsas here are everything). For those into sweets, we love the tres leche French toast and the crunchy churro waffle, which marries the crunchy street churros with fluffy Belgian-style waffles and Chantilly cream." - Juliana Shallcross, Andrea Bennett
