About a week ago, we placed a phone order @ 6:00 pm - the gal that answered the phone and who took our order, clearly stated that our order would be ready in 30 minutes - since we were running late, because we had caught a little bit of traffic, because we are not from the area, we TRIED calling the restaurant 15 minutes prior to their "closing" hours to let them know we were running late, and NO ONE picked up the phone - (mind you, we attempted to call 5 times), and still no answer - we arrived at the restaurant at 7:11 pm, 11 minutes after they had closed - my son knocked on the door and the "OWNER" himself answered the door, and turned my son away, he told my son they had tossed the food away -
We drove for an hour and a half to get to this restaurant and when I got off the car, the owner himself asked me if "I had expected for them to wait for me"? I was amazed as to how the owner did NOT "taste his words before spitting them out" on me - he did NOT care to accommodate our needs since I'm assuming his business is "booming" and did NOT care to lose a sale let alone a customer -
He has lost a customer, and we will NO longer go back to this restaurant!
My message to the owner is the following:
Remember that word of mouth is what keeps all in businesses, in business!
