El Galante Mexican Grill

El Galante Mexican Grill is now one of our favorite spots to visit! The food is excellent and full of flavor, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. We love how the cooks wave at you as you walk in—it adds such a personal touch. The Mexican music playing in the background creates a fun and authentic atmosphere. While we miss Punchy’s, we’re really glad to have this great new restaurant in town!

We totally enjoyed our experience here. I was leary at first, but we said let's give it a try. It was excellent! I had the chicken, cheese & rice (ACP), my wife had the steak, cheese & rice. Both very good and plenty enough to take home for lunch the next day. The nachos & queso were very good. I also got a crispy beef taco on the side, just to try their ground beef. It was very good, will get more than one next time. They have an extensive menu. We'll be going back to try some different items. Can't go wrong here. The wait staff were friendly and excellent. Plus they give military discount!

New Spot! Loved it and will definitely be back! It was a cold day so the seafood & chicken soup were ordered, and they didn't disappoint. Hubby got the torta and to his surprise he got some good hot crispy fries on the side. Can't wait to visit and try something else! ♡

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and had a great experience! Service was great, food came out quickly and was delicious, prices were very fair, restaurant was clean. And we always love when you get free endless chips and salsa! Salsa was mild but we got spicier options upon request. Also got strawberry churros to go which were great! If we lived in the area we’d be coming again!

My husband and I have visited this place at lunchtime a few times, and it has always been a pleasant experience (except the one time when the music was much too loud). I love how the staff treats you. Even the cooks wave and call "hello"/"goodbye" as you enter/exit, as if they know you. Very friendly and fast service, tasty food in generous portions, and reasonable prices. We will return often!

Service was excellent, establishment was clean. Food was good, came out hot and fairly quickly. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return!!

Hair in food, unseasoned meat, drinks were delicious, but that's literally all! Service was ok, but food was horrible. When I tell you I will NEVER recommend this place, I mean NEVER! The food was absolutely atrocious. A complete set-up, looked good, but it was so bland, so dry, totally disappointed. I didn't even box up the food I DIDN'T eat, it wasn't even worth giving it to a dog.

We have driven by here several times and decided to give it a try. The restaurant was very clean and bright. We were seated right away and check on frequently. The staff was excellent! They treated us with respect and had genuine smiles. (a smiling staff tells a lot about how a restaurant is managed). The menu has a lot to choose from and the price for our dinner was very reasonable. This is going to be our go to Mexican restaurant.

The food was amazing! We have FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!! Our waitress was Genesis & she was extremely kind, courteous & attentive!! Everyone is kind and friendly!!! The food is AWESOME, delicious & quick service!! 5/5 stars definitely a place to visit when you are in area!

We were curious to try this place after Punchy's closed down. This is a very good, authentic Mexican restaurant. Hubby ordered the Chicken Quesadilla/Fajita that includes peppers and onions and it was fantastic. I ordered the Birria Tacos and it was awesome! The complimentary chips and salsa are definitely made in-house. We highly recommend this place.

If you like Mexican food, don't walk.....RUN! This is one of the best restaurants I have been too. Food portions are large and still have good prices. Staff is very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Very comfortable atmosphere, great for a family/friend get together or even for a more intimate dinner.

Wow!! Very happy with our family lunch today. I had the Diabla Torta, a sandwich with chorizo and steak. Full flavor and amazing! Will definitely be back!!

Best Mexican food I have had in a very long time! Everything we ordered was full of flavor and high quality. One of my kids does not eat Mexican food but he was very impressed with their burger and fries. This is our new go-to for Mexican food. Worth driving past 10 others to get to this one.

Ordered the ACP thru an Uber Eats promotion that was buy one get one free. After placing the order and double checking the Uber Eats app I noticed that there was only one order of the ACP on the receipt, so I call to ask what was going on and was told that the promotion was no longer available. After I explained that the promotion was still showing on Uber Eats and that I had already paid and would be charged for cancellation, I was told that I would have to pay for the other ACP. Told the person on the phone that it's completely unfair to me as I had already paid and was expecting 2 ACP's. After going back and forth with this person, and them trying to get me to give them $5 for the plate, they finally agreed to give me the second one for free like it was supposed to be. Thought it was over and done with but I was wrong. When the food arrived it was 2 plates of only refried beans and chicken. ACP... Arroz con Pollo... rice with chicken. Not beans with chicken. To whoever the person I was on the phone with... GFYS.
