El Gaucho Tràng Tiền

I ordered the fillet salad for 890,000 VD and it was simply perfect. Perfect balance of meat and salad with a delicious dressing to cut through the richness of the meat. Paired this with the creamy garlic mash which was also delicious. To finish off the meal we had the cold homemade cheesecake which was one the best ive had in my life. Overall exceptional experience with 10/10 service from who I think was the owner (Slovakian gentleman) would highly recommend to anyone visiting Hanoi. Just to add, every first Tuesday of the month you get 50% off if you book a table before 12pm.... we didnt know this beforehand but got a pleasant surprise when paying the bill. We had an EXCELLENT meal here on Tuesday night. The restaurant was full, so perhaps best to book beforehand. I had their delicious melt in the mouth Wagu filet, and my sons had the beef and rocket salad, which was equally mouthwatering. The icing on the cake was the cheesecake desert, just THE BEST! A big shout out to the owner/manager who was extremely friendly and chatty, and who couldn't do enough for us. Indeed, the food and ambience is so good that we will be going back there before we have to leave Hanoi.

Dined here 3 times. Once for prime rib another for a wagyu burger and third time for the special they had. I also enjoyed a glass of wine each time I dined. Hospitality was amazing and attentive. I enjoyed the free shot they offer of a cool liquored drink that’s exclusive to the establishment, it’s called El Caramel. The proprietor even gave us extra shots when we asked for more. It’s delicious and refreshing.

My wife & I decided we'd fancy a steak and found El Gaucho online. It was the most delicious dinner we have had anywhere in the world. The steak is to die for, cooked absolutely perfectly. We also had the truffle mash, sauteed broccoli, sauteed mushrooms, baked potato and pepper sauce along with the bread and it's accompaniments. Everything was absolute perfection. The service was top tier also and we will be back 🔥

What a great place. The second best steak I've ever had after Don Julio Parrilla in Buenos Aires. I had the japanske wagyu and wow, absolutely amazing. The service from the staff was top notch and both me and my buddy felt we were treated so well. Thank you so much for not only the amazing food, but also the great service. An incredible service all-round!

When you value a restaurant is not only because of the food, it has a LOT to do the service! And WAO this place had an amazing and attentive service. Really good steak & the bread with the Grilled Garlic they serve you is really incredible! I was craving a piece of steak and i didn’t miss.

The service is the worst for a fine dinning place ever. I asked for a chair to put my bag on since I didn’t want to put my bag on the floor, and the waiters all told me there were none. I asked about the steak and the beef tartare, and the waiters didn’t know anything, they needed to ask the chefs. When I asked for the manager, he showed up and provided me with the extra chair, and provided me with “free stuffs”, but the damage had been done. Food is decent but still overpriced

Great food and value for money. Both service and ambiance are exceptional! Had the wagyu sirloin and it really melts in your mouth. It was a great feast for our last meal in Hanoi, we also had the pleasure of having a chat with Eli. Much respect to everyone in the front and back of house because everything is just perfect <3
