They do a "botanero Nayarita" style bar here, which means that as long as you keep buying drinks, they'll keep bringing the seafood-based snacks. Enjoy your favorite Mexican beers while you eat shrimp and veggie soup, fried fish "rinds" (chicharron de pescado—it's just breaded fried fish) served with 1 of 2 house sauces, fish and crab ceviche (most likely imitation crab), and a few other paid orders not included with the beer.
Paid orders include fried whole fish (a fish called Mojarra in Mexico), shrimp ceviche, and something else I can't recall.
Pretty authentic, and It makes me think of my parents hometown and state in Mexico. I only wish it was as delicious and varied as it is out there, although still good. Some aguachiles even as a paid order would be VERY welcome in my book, as they're not offered here!
Bottom line: if you're looking to drink at a Mexican/Nayarita style bar with some seafood snacks and some ambiance to go along with it, come here. Just leave the whooping and yelping at home, cause they'll kick you out lol it's a "family friendly" place. Children ARE allowed. Take that as you will.
