The Indoor Day Drinking Guide

"We could tell you El Grito has four different kinds of frozen margaritas and stop there. But you’d be missing out if you didn’t also try some fish tacos with chips and salsa. Things can get kind of quiet here during lunch, so it’s a great option for an impromptu group lunch when you don’t feel like waiting. Plus, it won’t be as embarrassing when your cousin starts singing karaoke despite the fact that this isn’t a karaoke bar." - aimee rizzo

El Grito - Review - South Lake Union - Seattle - The Infatuation

"There are plenty of trucks and fast-casual spots in the neighborhood to grab some Mexican food quickly before sprinting back to your computer if you work in South Lake Union. But maybe you have some time to kill because you emailed some people saying you’d “circle back” with them soon (which means next week). Hang out at El Grito for fish tacos, enchiladas, and tasty homemade chips with salsa. If you partake in a frozen margarita (get the prickly pear), we won’t tell whoever you had to circle back with." - Aimee Rizzo

Google
Very solid taco spot, the marinade on the steak tacos and the chicken was very good with good flavor. The cod tacos lacked some flavor with the slaw also not being my favorite. The best thing was the chicken nachos which were full of flavor and absolutely delicious.

Google
I was there for Taco Tuesday and the tacos were top notch. In tried three different tacos, and the Cod taco was the best. I’m not a huge fish person but the sauce and fish together was my favorite. Server and hostess were super friendly, gave me great recommendations. A must try is the 7 layer bean dip. This was something that was super unique and one of the best things I’ve had as an appetizer.

I recently visited El Grito Mexican restaurant in Seattle, and it was a delightful experience! The ambiance was cozy and warm, perfect for a relaxing meal. I ordered the cactus enchiladas, and my husband had the shrimp tacos—both dishes were excellent with great flavors and generous portions. The service was on point, making the experience even better. Highly recommend this place, and we’ll definitely be visiting again!

Sour Psycho

Google
El Grito is a fantastic spot for delicious food! I had the pastor tacos and the corn, and both were absolutely amazing. The tacos were packed with flavor, and the corn was perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. Highly recommend checking it out!

Google
Pros: The service was wonderful. The shrimp tacos had such a spicy kick and were delicious. The margaritas were lovely. Cons: The outdoor patio was next to two dumpsters. The chicken burrito was terrible. Three tablespoons of guacamole was $11. My fault for not asking, but I was surprised and angry. Skip this place. It wasn’t worth the aggravation.

Google
Guacamole was solid. The margs were excellent, and the fajitas and tacos were really great too. Will definitely be coming back another time 🤝

Google
Found this little gem just round the corner from our hotel, and glad we did. The food was really tasty and there was plenty of it - the only issue was that the nacho starter arrived at the same time as the main courses, but it wasn’t much of an issue, we all enjoyed our meals. It was a midweek lunchtime, but still quite busy.

Krishan Dhamaraju

Google
Insanely super “house” margaritas. The chips and sauces are amazing. The best part is the happy hour menu. The nachos are very flavorful.

Yelp
working next to this place is hard because i want to order it for lunch everyday! delicious and large burritos. recommend getting the red sauce on the side to dip in. i tried the trio sauce but thought the red was the best, the verde is great too very acidic and charred. the habenero was not my favorite. was very spicy but not much flavor. ive gotten their enchiladas before and plates which is also really good. price is typical for the SLU area ~$20 for entree. theyre always nice and good service take out and dine in. drinks are great too if you can make it to happy hour i recommend their house marg with the cactus slushy. i dont recommend their salsa and chips as they gave a tiny little cup of salsa and didnt refill it.

Yelp
We were looking to grab some Mexican food and ended up at El Grito, unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. The ambience itself feels very corporate and not cozy. The service was not friendly - felt like they didn't know enough about the food and were in general uninterested to serve. We got the margaritas, chicken and fish tacos. I wish I had something positive to say about it but it lacked flavor on all fronts and was extremely pricey for the food that they served. We never left a place more quickly; won't visit again.

Yelp
I'm between a 3-4 on this - i love the fun and colorful ambiance here. There's a dining area and a bar area. The decorations are fun and bright. The Happy Hour menu looks superb with great prices and options, but I dined for a regular dinner. It was fairly crowded on a Friday evening but there was always a table or two open. As my meal went on, I wasn't as impressed. I love the chips - very thick! I ordered guac and salsa - they have three kinds of salsa. I also thought their fried cauliflower was unique and tasty! The main courses were fine - standard dishes. The margaritas weren't the best and we didn't finish them - there was an artificial taste to them? Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way or choose to come back. If I was nearby with a friend and they wanted to come, I wouldn't object.

Yelp
Went for a casual lunch and sat at the bar! The bartender was super attentive, and nice. Got the chop salad with prawns and it was so fresh and filling. We also got a chicken burrito - Christmas style - which was huge and delicious as well. The inside is fun, but casual. There is front of the house seating, as well as bar and back of the house with lots of TV's and outdoor seating. Great spot!

Yelp
I came here with my friend for happy hour. I always walk by this place and was excited I got to try it. They have a cute outdoor patio as well as an inside area. We were seated inside. We ordered the nachos and chicken quesadillas off the happy hour menu. The prices were good and the portion of food was very large. The quesadilla was very yummy and flavorful. The nachos were good as well, but I do think they needed a bit more cheese or salsa. The server was super nice and making jokes with us which was a fun time :). I would definitely come back!

Yelp
KEY: OPEN LATE ! Awesome music and friendly service. Easy walk if in the SLU area. Got the nachos and shared with a friend. Could've easily shared with the whole table (4 people) because the two of us barely made a dent in it ! For ~$20 I'd say that's a steal. Gave a 4/5 because a lot of the add ons were extra $$ ($5+) and it made it seem more expensive tbh But like I said, if you're sharing, it's worth it. Not pictured: Quesadillas also very large portion for equal price to nachos. Tacos come with 3, no sides. To me, $17 for tacos is a little much.

Yelp
El Grito is a Mexican restaurant in downtown Seattle. It's walkable from the hotels downtown and has cute decorations inside. They take apple pay and the service was okay. The tables are very small and the restaurant is humid and dark - I wouldn't recommend dining in with a group. Our waitress was nice and answered all our questions. The portions of food were okay for the price - it was a bit expensive. The food itself was average. The chicken tinga tacos and quesadilla were way too liquidy and the elote was too salty. The Fajitas were seasoned well and were a little dry but the best thing on the table.

Yelp
Hands down the best hidden gem in Seattle for Mexican food and ahhhhhhhhhmazing drinks and cocktails. They have the best pina coloda I've had in my life. I have had authentic ones in the Caribbean with dark rum! El Grito puts the dark liquor at the bottom and the pina coloda frozen mix is on top! I had 2 and would have gotten a 3rd if I didn't drive!. The prawn grilled shrimp enchiladas dinner plate was perfection in taste, size & presentation. I did add a side of the lime slaw for more of a acidity crunch! My bartender was excellent! I was here almost 3 hour's enjoying the entire vibe. Only draw back was no complimentary chips and salsa. Another con was that most cocktails started at $18! My pina colodas were $12 a piece &worth every sip! The happy hour menu and taco Tuesday menu is your best way to try more items on the menu!

Yelp
AMAZING chips and salsa! This spot is so close to me and I've been wanting to try it forever. I finally got the chance to come for happy hour one day right before it ended. We shared the chips and salsa + guac combo, and I also got the fish and carnitas tacos. The chips themselves are absolutely incredible -- perfectly thick, crispy, crunchy, and salty. I loved the salsa which is really flavorful as well though I thought the guac was just average. The tacos were served on dark tortillas which were good, though I wasn't the biggest fan of the mascarpone. However, the fish and pork were great and the tacos are only $4 on taco tuesdays :) Overall, its a cute and cozy Mexican restaurant in SLU, and definitely worth visiting for their happy hour and taco tuesday deals!

Yelp
Great vibes, great food, great service! We were greeted right when we walked in, told to grab a seat anywhere, and decided to sit at the bar. I ordered the slushie special: OG Daiquiri, and we shared chips and salsa (fire-roasted), a quesadilla (with chorizo), and the chicken wings (with the sweet chili sauce). Everything was DELISH! The slushie wasn't too sweet or too boozy, just the right amount! The chips were fresh made, though had a bit too much salt (may have just been a little heavy hand with the shaker on that batch), and the fire-roasted salsa was super tasty but my ONLY complaint would be the amount of salsa compared to chips wasn't enough. The quesadilla was enormous and they did not skimp on the meat! And the chicken wings were my personal favorite! Perfect crisp and the sweet chili sauce was delicious!

Yelp
**vegetarian review** I really like el grito. There are many vegetarian options and food is generally really delicious. I really liked the prickly pear tacos and the mushroom and potato quesadillas. I also like their fijitas. The service is quick and I have never had to wait too long for a table

Bobby H.

Yelp
Food was good and hot. The ladies loved the drinks even though they were on the "stronger" side. Carnitas meat was great! The weather was nice so we ate outside which was a great treat!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious and fresh were common themes in everything we ordered! There was limited seating inside but it only took us about 10 min to get a table because they don't take reservations. The chips were seasoned so well and paired with a super fresh salsa, the fried cod tacos had a creamy chipotle aioli, and the el grito margarita was strong and fruity!
google avatar

Yelp
Restaurant was clean, great food, okay service and the prices were pretty high but I'd return.

Yelp
I went with a party of 8 and everything we ordered was really good! I ordered the Carne Asada which I ate all of ! I also tried the shrimp enchiladas , which everything was good about it except the shrimp was over cooked , I wouldn't order again as that's the main protein of the dish. The el grito margarita and the prickly pear slush was strong & good ! I highly recommend the el grito margarita It was a nice place with a low lighting place with music playing. I went on a Saturday night and it wasn't too busy but service was very slow. Our first server only came to our table twice and gave attitude. We had 3 different people helping us throughout our meal!

G M.

Yelp
I am so glad we took the advice of the nurses at Fred Hutch and went to get the best Mexican food I've had this side of the border!! The chopped salad with steak was raved over, and I had the best carne asada I've ever had! The staff were very welcoming, and service was prompt. I highly recommend this restaurant!
google avatar

Yelp
Tried the takeout steak fajitas ($18). Could have been more flavorful but they were nicely cooked, packaged, and tasty Loved all the components that came with it! I am definitely trying to come back and dine in!
google avatar

Yelp
Food - the nachos. That's where it's at. Best nachos south of lake Union that we have had. Also the drinks are really good! I like the El Griton and La Gritona best. Service - always very friendly, chill staff. Good service. Ambiance - there's a dinning room, bar, and outdoor seating. Always a chill little vibe. Sometimes the music is a bit loud but it's a good place to grab late night snacks and drinks with a friend or family.

Christopher G.

Yelp
Awesome, bartender and waitstaff! Thank you so much for your kindness and service to us Cancer patients! Food in ambience top notch!
google avatar

Yelp
Our server, though having a gorgeous tattoo on her calf, had quite the ugly attitude. This is particularly unfortunate because I quite liked the food, which is infrequently the case for my spouse and me here in Seattle. If you're fine with potentially being treated like scum of the Earth, I would highly recommend the caesar salad with shrimp as well as their Strawberry Lemon Drop slushy (still thinking about this dayyyyyyssss later). The atmosphere is cool too. Plenty of parking nearby. The outdoor eating space is adjacent to some dumpsters and lots of car fumes but still a nice little spot.

Yelp
Are you looking for a happy hour spot in SLU? Well, I got a suggestion for you! Come to El Grito in South Lake Union for happy hour (or regular dining)! We came in during happy hour (4-6pm) and had ordered the Chicken tinga quesadillas & blue Hawaiian slushie & prickly pear margarita slushie. The drinks were very good (although not on Happy hour menu). The chicken tinga quesadillas were spot on! They were bigger than expected and I even brought home leftovers. This item was on the happy hour menu. Service was great as well. I'll definitely be back for happy hour after work!
google avatar

Nikita S.

Yelp
Ambience (4/5) - The bar area is pretty nice, cozy with good vibes. I highly recommend reserving bar area rather than entrance area Food (2/5) - MARGARITAS WERE GOOD!!! I highly recommend the margaritas, it was strong and the best part was it wasn't sweet BURRITOS (2/5) - Chicken Tinga, It lacked flavor. However, the green sauce was spicy and good I would definitely go in again but for drinks

Yelp
Their salsa verde stole the show when we tried it; I'm an immigrant from Queretaro, Mexico and the food tasted just like the enchiladas I would get from a small spot in Tequisquiapan. The rice is also delicious, it reminded me so much of my grandma's recipe. The beans were also great, but the enchiladas truly stood out the most. I love that they serve them with the rice and beans, it's very traditional and took me back to my mom's kitchen growing up. The chips and guac were also great, and the serving sizes are fairly big, so you could totally skip the appetizer if it's just two of you. My only complaint (not even a complaint, really) is that the Mexican coke costs $4. But I understand, import fees, distance, etc. all add up so totally understandable. I highly recommend you check this place out, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
We walked here from salt lake Union, but it looks like there is street parking. Restaurant is very dark (look at pictures), and it is kid friendly. Bathroom was clean. We brought our friends from out of town here because they were craving nachos. We ordered nachos, chicken wings, elote corn, quesadillas, and chicken enchiladas with beverages (cokes & beers). Food is fair, service is awful. Service was limiyed even though we were the only party in this restaurant. Seattle freeze is real in here: no facial recognition, lots of scowling, rare appearance on beverage refills or how your food tastes, and lack of everything. I had to find the staff each time we needed something, and I get it - it's a taqueria, but when it's drink orders wouldn't you want to make money?

Yelp
So obviously this place has such incredible staff. They make you feel like you're at home, they know how to create a vibe~~that has you feeling after a hard day that going out is actually a great idea. The out of this world staff Craig, Keegan, Matty, Lori, Jackson & Zoey are so genuine, so on top of it and know how to make the already amazing food even better. Thank yall for always giving me, my mom and Gran such a wonderful experience every time. The vibes are immaculate.

Yelp
My friends and I were looking for a spot with good drinks and good food. We were feeling Mexican and this one was close to our hotel so we decided to check it out. It's dark inside, giving off a cozy atmosphere. We got several drinks to start and while browsing through the menu, we noticed another small menu on the side with Taco Tuesday deals - $3 tacos - so we definitely took advantage of that. $3 tacos aren't that cheap in my opinion, but it lets us choose what fillings we want rather than ordering off the menu which would give 3 of the same tacos. I love variety so I'd rather get to have my own picks. The tacos were alright, I liked the fried cod the best. The meats for the others were a bit on the dry side. They also aren't very big, about the size of my palm. We also got nachos with carne asada, which was a good portion and had plenty of toppings, as well as some sides. I don't see refried beans often so I got it and liked theirs. It was thick and creamy, which some cheese and tomatoes on top as well. The elote was also kernels in a bowl, which I actually prefer since it's easier to eat. It had the traditional seasonings and was charred nicely. We ended the meal with churros which were covered in chocolate syrup with whipped cream and strawberries. These were delicious. Perfectly fried so nice and crunchy and covered well in cinnamon sugar. Overall, a decent Mexican spot. Prices were okay and food was pretty good. Get the churros!

Yelp
Stopped by on my visit to Seattle with friends and we had a pretty good experience. The restaurant wasn't super big, but it was a comfortable space to be in with a group. We came in on Taco Tuesday, so we had to take advantage of their deal, which was $3 a taco. They have a list of options for you to choose from, so that was perfect since my friends and I wanted to try almost all of them. All were pretty decent; I think one of my favorites will have to be the fried cod because it was crispy and had good flavor. The rest of the meats were just okay. I do wish the tacos came out in bigger portions though. We all also got some drinks and the prices were average. A lot of the drinks were sweet and not too strong, so it was perfect for me. To end the meal, you must get some churros! They were delicious and so crunchy. It comes with chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and strawberries, which were all great toppings.
google avatar

Valerie N.

Yelp
I was glad they were able to accommodate my large party of 8. I enjoyed the steak tacos and salsa and chips here. They give more salsa and guacamole than chips, but unfortunately no free chip refill - I believe it was $2-3 for more. I think it would be great to come during their happy hour. I love the vibes and decor of this restaurant!
google avatar

Akanksha G.

Yelp
Decent tacos at a reasonable price! I came by with a friend for Taco Tuesday happy hour, and I was not disappointed. At just $4/taco, they had an incredible selection - from cactus to chicken tinga and even their carnitas! They do come in one plate for the table, so just double check with the server which taco is which. As I am weak for carnitas, I decided to get two (bottom two in the picture). They were flavorful, with just a hint of sweetness, and the orange sauce (I can't remember what it was) made the vegetables taste SO good. The meat was a bit dry, but otherwise it was good. Plus, don't be fooled by the size - they were surprisingly filling, and I almost couldn't finish mine! I had a really good time and will definitely be back to try the others!
google avatar

Tammy E.

Yelp
This is a nice little Mexican restaurant in the downtown/Westlake area! If you are here outside of lunch or happy hour parking is easily found nearby and the restaurant won't be crowded. I had lunch here with my friend and we enjoyed giant salads with protein. Our server was friendly and helpful and our orders were up in about 15 minutes. Will definitely return to try other menu items!

Yelp
Pros: Excellent food. Wonderful menu*. The food came out on time. One of the three waiters we interacted with was friendly. Cons: Dark, loud atmosphere. Most of the service was rude to the point of concern for their wellbeing. No silverware. Severely reduced menu from 10:00pm-close on Saturday night. *no mole, late-nite only after 10:00pm Story: The restaurant is open until 12am. We arrived with a family of 5 at 9:50pm on Saturday May 4th expecting a nice dinner. We were informed shortly after seating that the only menu available was the late-nite menu consisting of six entrees plus two vegan options. Rice and beans aren't available after 10:00pm because they're "in the fridge." It also seemed like the servers want you out by 10:15pm-- they start blasting 80s rock and metal, with little variety: Hot for Teacher and Under Pressure both played twice in a row. Two of the three servers roll their eyes at questions. They seem overworked and underpaid, even at 10pm. I hope the management is treating the servers well; I'm worried about their physical and mental health. We were seated in a dark corner, under a speaker, in a nearly empty floor of tables. It was difficult to appreciate the quality and effort put into the food because of the darkness. No silverware was provided.
google avatar

Ann N.

Yelp
Solid taco place. Nothing standout, but tasted good. The tacos only had 1 tortilla under, which made the food spill out and not be able to hold very well. The service was slower than usual. There was only 1 waiter that served us and we didn't see her basically the whole time we were eating. I think she was one of the only waiters from the front and back. There was louder than normal music and dark lighting.
google avatar

Zina P.

Yelp
It's a cute little spot! They have lots of indoor seating that extends into the back of the restaurant. Everything is very vibrant and lively. We got the enchiladas - red and green sauce. You can't change anything about the enchiladas other than the sauce. We tried getting one with chicken and one with another meat but they weren't able to do that. I can't speak to its authenticity but it definitely is not your classic comfort type of food. It's very modern. The enchiladas were very salty. The sauce itself wasn't but the meat in the combination with the cheese and sauce drizzle on top was way too much. The plate had three enchiladas, rice and black beans. They do not bring you chips and salsa like some other restaurants. I do believe you can order it as a side. We didn't get a chance to try their drinks.
google avatar

Sabrina C.

Yelp
Food here was decent but it's pretty pricey for what it is and the service is very slow. I ordered a burrito with chicken tinga and red chili sauce which was $18 before tax. It was pretty big and filling but Seattle Mexican food tends to be overpriced and this was no different. Flavor wise I mostly only tasted the red chili sauce which I found a bit too salty and not spicy at all. The service here was honestly really slow. I believe there were only 1-2 servers and it was fairly busy at 7pm on a Thursday. After asking if we were ready for the check it took 15 min (or honestly maybe longer) for them to finally bring it out.
google avatar

Carly L.

Yelp
Very friendly staff with excellent customer service. The waitress put in our order for two before a big party which was nice since we were on our lunch break at work. The food was also delicious and reasonably priced which is hard to find these days- definitely recommend!
google avatar

Josh R.

Yelp
We came here with a large group. I ordered the steak tenderloin enchilada. I'm very picky about my enchiladas. It's not the best I ever had, but it was filling, and it hit the spot.
google avatar

Hailey G.

Yelp
The go to spot in SLU for Mexican food! Large portions, spiccccy margs, always great quality food. El Grito is one of those spots that hits dining in or takeout!
google avatar

Jay C.

Yelp
Once great, now underwhelming. That's not to say you won't enjoy it here, but the best of their staff seems to have moved on to other places, and the food isn't consistent anymore. I used to order the steak fajitas and they would come out a beautiful medium rare each time - now they are always well done and when I asked about this, I was told I would have to pay more to have it cooked properly (as in an upcharge for a different type of steak). The drinks are tasty, though overpriced, and the ambiance in the bar is great. It's worth a visit now and then, but there is better Mexican food in the city.
google avatar

Nainy A.

Yelp
The service was really good. As per my check dana was my server and she did an excellent job to make sure to check with me. She even got me half serving of churros(for dessert) which I requested, if possible. For the main course I ordered fajitas with chicken. Chicken was very dry and guacamole and sour cream that came with dish was also not enough. I had to request lime for my dish. Churros were nice but if you like crispy ones. I will give 3 star for the food as it was not as per what I expected but giving 4 star for service and ambience. As it is well decorated and has good seating space. Must try: can't suggest at the moment as churros and fajitas were not the best. Probably need to try other dishes here.

Yelp
Stumbled upon El Grito Taqueria because all the nearby restaurants were packed on a random Tuesday night. Lucky us, we came at the right time for Taco Tuesday special. Make sure to grab some churros before you leave. The interior was well decorated with a dark yet cozy ambiance. Their cocktails are aesthetically playful and tasty. If you are feeling adventurous, you should try one of their slushies. El Grito Taqueria's Taco Tuesday was definitely a hit for me, without that, I wouldn't have known what else to order. There are also plenty of seatings in the back, and outside which is great for large groups. If you need your taco craving fixed and you happen to be in the area, I would recommend El Grito Taqueria. The cactus taco was also interesting and worth trying, it was probably the most "exotic" thing on the menu.
google avatar

Cheryl W.

Yelp
Great food, fast service, reasonable portion sizes and fair prices; what more can you ask for? We all enjoyed our food & there were truly no complaints. I would definitely go back if I lived in the area.

Yelp
Good food, good ambiance, big portions! Exactly what I was looking for on a weekday evening dinner. Prices are average for food around SLU. They have lots of tables and booths inside and 3 covered picnic tables outside! We sat outside at one of the covered picnic tables, which was perfect with the nice weather here. I split the steak burrito and cactus enchiladas with my SO. The steak burrito was absolutely huge and came with a delicious red sauce on top. The cactus enchiladas were also pretty good - I wanted to try the cactus even tho I am not veg. Cactus was ok, probably wouldn't get it again. The green enchilada sauce was yummy. My friend got the carne asada plate which came with a big portion of meat and lots of sides (rice, beans, salsa, tortillas). I heard they have $3 tacos on Tuesdays so I'll have to be back for that!
google avatar

Matthew K.

Yelp
I've been here twice. Both times were absolutely delicious. Ordered the huevos rancheros with steak today and I thought it was delectable. In all transparency, the food here is a little bit pricey for what it is where you can expect your total to be $25+ with tip/tax. However, it is a great meal and filling (for me at least). The service is fine but the ambiance of the place is very cute! Worth coming if you're in the area
google avatar

Jamie C.

Yelp
Adding onto original review because this restaurant is almost entirely gluten free. I emailed the website prior to visiting and even their fish is bartered in an alternative flour. The only unsafe item is flour tortillas. They should brag about this more and I'm sure visits would only increase! Add wheat icons to the menu!
google avatar

Sage M.

Yelp
10/10 will def be coming here again! The food was very good and the service was exceptional. Definitely recommend trying a variety of their food but I personally really liked the nachos and burritos! Drinks are good too!

Brenda S.

Yelp
Drinks were good but food didn't taste authentic. Asked for a quesadilla for my 3y/o and they brought out a HUGE quesadilla without even letting us know the size and got stuck paying $14 for my son to only have a few bites. Overprized overall

Yelp
Back in Seattle a year removed from our last stay and we were craving Mexican. Ended up going back to El Grito since it was a short walk from our rental. We got take-out-- chicken enchiladas for the wife, steak fajitas for me, and we split chips and guacamole/salsa. We both requested to substitute extra rice for the beans. It was quite pricey at $50 (small tip included) but our order was packaged nicely. The food continues to be great. The chicken in the enchilada was amazing. And the steak had amazing flavor... although it was a bit tough. Guacamole was bland but the salsa had a nice unique taste. Lastly, the portion sizes were huge. I almost wish that they gave me less and charged less. But I would still definitely eat here again.

Yelp
I typically don't review unless it's good! And if I ever have a problem somewhere, I try to give the restaurant store manager whatever a chance to fix the problem. So I did reach out because I just spent 30 bucks on three tacos, and some rice and beans, plus a five dollar tip on top. For food to go. And my tacos are ice cold. So I called to let them know, and I get a snotty response about how well they're not coming out of the freezer. really? Not acceptable customer service. At all. And I really wasn't out of line. I didn't expect cold tacos. And instead of an apology, I got attitude like I had done something wrong. Needless to say I live a block and a half away and I won't be back. Which is sad because it's so close. Oh well.

Yelp
Food is great! Enchiladas are so good I get them every time. Great atmosphere, too! Definitely recommend this place. There were a couple small things when I was there last (the cup of water they brought's glass wasn't clean on the rim/had stuff stuck on it, I asked for a new cup, and they brought me a new cup promptly, but with no water in it. I ended up using a pitcher I saw set out by their supplies to fill my cup. Not a big deal but was odd.) Staff were nice though and food came out quickly.
