El Grito Taqueria

El Grito is a fantastic spot for delicious food! I had the pastor tacos and the corn, and both were absolutely amazing. The tacos were packed with flavor, and the corn was perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. Highly recommend checking it out!

I recently visited El Grito Mexican restaurant in Seattle, and it was a delightful experience! The ambiance was cozy and warm, perfect for a relaxing meal. I ordered the cactus enchiladas, and my husband had the shrimp tacos—both dishes were excellent with great flavors and generous portions. The service was on point, making the experience even better. Highly recommend this place, and we’ll definitely be visiting again!

We were visiting Seattle on a cold, rainy evening and wanted something close to our hotel. I'm so glad we found El Grito! It was absolutely buzzing on a Wednesday night, and the atmosphere was great. Service was fast and friendly, and the food was good.

Atmosphere was nice but the food wasn’t even close to authentic. Chipotle gives you a better Mexican experience than this place.

I don’t know what I was expecting with takeout tacos but they were great. I had the cod tacos with an order of chips and guacamole. The tortillas of course were on point since they serve the Milpa Masa tortillas. The cod was really tasty and the toppings plentiful. My only complaint is that there were far more chips than guacamole and it seemed a bit expensive, however, it’s South Lake Union so that adds up.

The food was delicious, the cheese quesadillas were the best we have ever had, the servers were nice, the food came fast and had affordable prices. It had a nice atmosphere and lots of seating available. I would recommend eating here

My wife and I tried this place on Taco Tuesday night during Happy Hour (Mon-Fri 4-6PM). The drinks and happy hour are nice. We got the chips and guacamole with both salsas. They were good. We got all 5 of the tacos. Our favorite was the Carnitas followed by the Chicken and Carne Asada followed by the Cactus and Fried Cod. It was definitely worth the try. The food and drink were okay and the atmosphere was enjoyable. They got pretty busy the later it got. We would return for Taco Tuesday.

I actually had a few things from here First, I ordered the quesabirria tacos. However, these was some of the worst food I've ever had in a restaurant. The outside of the tacos were fine, and the broth was pretty bad and flavorless, but this didn't compare to how inedible the beef was inside. It was dry, chewy, astoundingly overcooked, and practically unfit for human consumption. I could tell something was off after taking the first bite. After finishing half of my first taco, and truly giving it a fair shot, I was completely done. These tacos were just non-consumable. I waited around 10-15 minutes for the waitress to walk by and informed her that the beef was quite bad. I essentially never send things back - I don't think I have in over a year - but this was just that bad To her credit, she said she would take it back and asked if I wanted to order something else. I picked the huevos rancheros, adding the chicken tinga, because I didn't really trust them to cook any kind of beef or pork. This dish was significantly better than the previous one. It came out super colorful, with different kinds of green, red, and white sauces washed over the top. The feta cheese was also a nice addition On the inside, this consisted of eggs, along with chicken tinga that I chose as an add-on. The base was these fried tortillas For the most part, this was pretty good. The tortillas were fried pretty well, and the chicken and egg made a pretty good combination together. The sauces also added a good amount of flavor For the price, the huevos rancheros specifically is a pretty good amount of food Overall, the quesabirria tacos gets a 1/10, and the huevos rancheros gets an 8/10, for an overall 6/10
