El Huarache Azteca

Have been here to dine in on 2 separate occasions and each time the food has been very delicious and flavorful. It is very authentic Mexican food and tastes fresh. The dine in area is small and doesn't have many tables but they are quick to accommodate to make sure you are seated. The food may take a little while to make since it seems everything is made fresh. There is also usually a line out the door as many people are picking up their orders but the wait is definitely worth it! The prices are fair for the quality of food they provide. Highly recommend the picaditas and menudo. I will definitely be back to try more of their menu

Very bad service. We wanted to make a day trip out in NJ and were recommended this spot by a local, when we arrived no one greeted us. They took our order, almost just threw our food on the table and never bothered to check on us. The tamales where the only okay thing here. The lady’s who work there are very rude, and honestly I don’t mind paying for food and tipping but they honestly just ruined the vibe for us. Their food is not that great to make up for the horrible service. Definitely take your business elsewhere

Best Passaic tamales! Definitely order ahead on the weekends! Small space and have to make always a line

I love thw huarache azteca tamales. They are so tasty and my favorites are Rajasthan con queso.. 😋 super soft Also the huarache de cecina wow.. #1 Try them you wont regret it.. PSD : Order your tamales early in the morning otherwise you wont make it..

The food was delicious! I was skeptical when going in but when I took the first bite of the food, I loved it! I left the restaurant with no leftovers because it was that good! The decor was really cute, I loved the window art! The sombreros on the wall were a nice touch and the soccer game playing by the bar was entertaining. Our server Veronica was the sweetest! She gave us the spicy sauce since we did not think it was spicy enough. And it was delicious!

Take out not ready. Waitress checked her phone and blamed us for calling the wrong restaurant or not placing it until I proved I’d been charged on my credit card. Had to wait a lot longer and she refused to discount or give us anything free for our trouble (hello? Chips?) Chile Rellenos are awful. As is the hurache. Tamales good. But we are never returning.

I visit Dunedin once a year and I always make sure to stop at this place. The food is authentic and delicious. The people here are very friendly. Already looking forward to my next trip. Sadly, nothing in my area compares to the quality at El Huarache Azteca and I get jealous when I see pics of the food from relatives in the area. 5+ stars.

Great place to eat! The staff is awesome and so is the food. They are way better then mexico deli! I go like three times a week and is great, and they never disappoint me. Unlike mexico deli rest with their nasty attitude.

Huarache is a hole in the wall, nestled in a town filled with endless options of Mexican food it sure does it's job competing. Go during lunch time, for a nice hot coffee and good sencillo huarache. Go there for the food and the communal feeling with friends, don't expect star studded treatment.

I really like this place and it is authentic Mexican food but I was there today and nobody was wearing a face mask while cooking the food and there are like four women working in the kitchen and a guy at the register I felt a little disappointed and I just wanted to leave without my order

The food is delicious and it actually is authentic mexican food. The only downfall is the service. There is no organization or at least not an effective implementation of it. They have limited staff during prime time and everyone is all over the place. It doesn't help that the place is tiny. Wait times are longer that average even if you order for pick up. The food is the only thing that saves this place because it really is great.

the little mexican boy andrick is so nice, i tipped him $20, his service is amazing. the food here is good and the service is speedy. i come here about once a month because i live in NY. much love :-)
