The turkey omelette was amazing, including salad and a split & roasted sourdough roll. So much cheesy and vegetable goodness! Plenty of parking and an outdoor patio covered in deep, cushy artificial grass, plus a few trees, made for a pleasant vibe even while located a block below I-80. When I approached the counter to order, the gal was meticulously explaining the menu to a Muslim lady that apparently could not read English. I was hungry, so I had to break in just to ask whether there was any table service to be had. Without any grief, she volunteered to swiftly take my simple order, even asking if that was all, before returning to explain the menu. Who needs waiters, with fantastic service like this? The only downside was receiving my hot meal served on a plastic plate. Extra perk is Tapatio hot sauce in self-service packets (as well as bottles), just like the ketchup. I can't wait to come back to this garden of dreams!

I decided to try this spot because it was recommended by many people. Once you walk in, the workers greet you and are very polite. I was hoping to try their Flor de Calabaza Quesadilla which I hear was made with homemade corn tortillas but unfortunately they did not have which was totally understandable. Decided to try their Veggie Omelette and Quesadilla de Huitlacoche, which was given to us very quickly. Unfortunately the Omelette was very kind of small and lacked flavor, the Quesadilla de huitlacoche was tasty but was made with flour tortilla (which is also good don’t get me wrong) but also small considering the price and was hoping to get the taste of the homemade corn tortilla too. I hate to sound like a Karen but I really wanted to love this place especially since it was highly recommended to me, I want to think it was just this day or maybe these specific items. I will like to come back and try their sandwiches or the flor de calabaza quesadilla. Just wish their portions were a bit bigger for the price. 🥲🥲

I love good bakeries and this one was good. I had Danish Fruits and liked it. It has a huge parking and people there were very attending. Will be back to try their coffee too. I have heard they are a relatively new family business too.

I was so excited to try El Jardin and it did not disappoint! The space is inviting with lots of light, plenty of tables and even an area for kids. I ordered the Begonia Bagel (bacon, egg & cheese) and it was so good! Melty cheese, crispy bacon and a fresh egg on a bagel that tasted like it was made this morning. The latte is also delicious and came with an adorable heart on top. So excited to have El Jardin in the neighborhood.

SO GLAD this place is finally open! We need more sandwiches in this neighborhood. Customer service is friendly, nice, attentive, and answered all my questions. Pastry is super yummy. Wide selection of juices, smoothies, and bottled beverages. Free parking lot. Close to the freeway. Lots of services nearby like coffee shop, smog check, liquor store, gasoline, tattoo shop…. I’m not even gonna tell you to try the babka, ‘cause then they’ll all be sold out when I go. 😢 UPDATE: IDK about you, but this sundried tomato sandwich is good af. Babka is MY LYYYYFFEEE ! ! ! Wow new mom and pop coffee and café!!! Loved it . Good food great coffee. Not for those in a rush . But if you want a nice coffee with great outdoor sitting . Bring your kids they have a whole toy play section..

A really cool spot, especially if you have toddlers. Very family friendly. The staff is friendly and my chipotle sandwich was very good. You should get on Instagram, I think more people will come to you. That's how I found out about the spot. Would love to share your business on there.

The pastry I had was exceptional. Lots of choices for bagels, sandwiches, crepes, smoothies and juices. Some vegan options as well. Cozy inside. Nice quiet place to sit and drink a homemade juice or coffee.

Cute mom and pop coffee shop with plenty of seating spaces. I ordered the Lox bagel thinking I was going to receive onions and tomato's along with the other condiments that were listed but I only received cream cheese capers salmon and hella spring mix. A lot of people came and left before I received my chai tea latte (bummer). I didn't receive it until I was done with half of my bagel. It took about 15 minutes I would come back but probably will ask the cashier rather or not they have the proper condiments for whatever bagel I order. Overall it was a cool experience.. staff were nice and the place was clean.

My experience was hit and miss. The last time I came out here I missed the entrance because it came up too quickly and I didn't want to turn around. Flash forward to me standing in line today and I was behind a guy who was very indecisive with his order. (I echo the sentiment that there are too many items on the menu.) I do appreciate the attempt to court vegetarian staples like avocado toast. From the menu, I ordered an avocado bagel, a biscotti, and a drip coffee. The coffee and biscotti were great. The gentleman who took my order was very nice. I guess he was confused as to why anybody would want to order an avocado toast because he told me there was nothing on it just avocado. My order was delayed and other people got their order before me so I went to see why it was taking so long; only to find out that the order hadn't been placed at all. I did notice that the commanding woman who retook my order may have been stressed because she was gruff with me when I went up to clarify the order a few minutes later. She was apologetic to others about the wait but I didn't get the same consideration. In a nod to small business owners, I would say I would try the place again if I was in the area. I don't recommend going at crunch time or the avocado toast.

This cafe has a lengthy menu, maybe too lengthy. The iced latte I got was very mediocre-nothing bad but nothing good. The babka was decent, it was flaky and the flavors were pretty balanced. The service was pretty quick and the people seemed very nice. The location has a large parking lot and plenty of seating and space inside. There is also a play space for children. Overall a decent cafe.

Very spacious cafe as it is a great place to set up and get some work done for the day. The cafe opens up really early, so it is perfect for early risers. The prices at El Jardin are incredible too. I was able to get a coffee and bagel for about $7. In this economy, that is a win. There is a huge parking lot in the back, and this place is accommodating to families as they have a nice little play area for kids. I look forward to coming back whenever I have work in Richmond !

This new Richmond cafe has a large indoor seating area and plenty of parking. A large selection of bagels and pastries for breakfast, typical coffee and tea options but what sets it's apart are the smoothies, drinks and sandwich options. Proudly serves local catahoula coffee as well. Good neighborly small business option for breakfast or lunch.

Was excited to this spot, but didn't have a great experience. Juice was pretty watered down.| ordered a crepe and it took a while tor me to get it. No one gave me any updates or told me how long it was going to take. I finally rang the bell and lady comes out and hands me a card to tell me to call and order next time. Not what wanted, just needed someone to tell me how long it was going to be.

I am so happy we have a sandwich and smoothie place in the neighborhood. I've already been here twice and I love it. Ambiance: The place is great! Parking outside and plenty of seating inside. I love that they had a kid section so kids can play while you eat, my daughter loved it. Cute neon sign and foliage as well. Food: I got the banana-berries smoothie and the turkey sandwich. The smoothie was tasty and I think they only have one size, so keep that in mind. My sandwich was delicious! I thought I'd only eat half, they are quite generous with the portion, but I ate the other half an hour later. Service was great, they were kind and attentive. I'd say I'll go back but I already have! I'll continue to go back and tell people about it.

This place is really cute! I stopped by to get a coffee but noticed all their juice options and sandwiches. Their menu looks really good with a large variety of drinks and food. Service was great. Would definitely be coming back to try some of their juices and sandwiches. Large space to enjoy your coffee and they have a play area for kids. Lots of available parking as well.

Finally made it to our lovely new neighborhood cafe &... we loved it! Nancy, Oscar & family have done a wonderful job creating a beautiful space with delicious food & (of course) great service. If you're familiar with 3 Hermanas (just up the road a bit) - you already know this lovely family. I ordered a delicious veggie (vegan!) sandwich of cucumbers, tomatoes, hummus, avocado & onions on perfect ciabatta. It was so good, & very filling! I also enjoyed a carrot cake smoothie, & loved that it wasn't too sweet & could have really been a meal on its own. My mother ordered coffee with soy milk & a slice of vegan pumpkin bread. All delicious! I cannot wait to go back & sample more of Nancy's food. They seem to have something for everyone - from healthy options (smoothies, salads, sandwiches & fresh juices) to decadent, flaky pastries. The ambience is welcoming & relaxing. It's the perfect place to visit with friends or sit/work alone. We will be back soon!

The Healthy sandwich and juice/smoothie place you were waiting for in Richmond/el cerrito area!!!! I too waiting anxiously for this place to open , since I work close by. And I was ready to try something new and refreshing . The staff was super friendly. You can feel very welcomed. It is very spacious, so you can even go and do some computer work or homework while enjoying a nice lunch or just an expresso a latte or a snack. I loved my caffe Ole, it was very foamy and had a great taste, I also ordered the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich. And I had to treat my self with a tropical smoothie , it came with mixed greens and mixed fruits, I could really taste a little bit of beet in it mango, watermelon and other delicious flavors. Everything there was so good! I highly recommend this spot I look forward to try the Juices for loss weight . Really healthy variety. I will check back to give another review .

The first thing that disappointed me is when I walked in I waited for like 8 minutes and no was at the front they were just talking in the back and I was in a rush to work. And as soon as I ordered a peanut butter and jelly bagel I repeated it twice to the guy and he ended up giving me a plain cream cheese bagel so I paid extra for something I didn't want.

Love this place! Have now come here three times. Service is prompt and friendly, and the selection of smoothies , sandwiches, pastries, and coffee/beverages is excellent. Plus, they serve Catahoula Coffee, which just adds to my loyalty. The space is open, and they have outdoor seating in the sun. They even have a play area for young children. A true gem of a place. Will be back!

I have no idea where they get the bagels, but I really like them. I get it toasted with some cream cheese, and maybe it's not an authentic East Coast experience, but it's really soft inside and crisp and chewy and delicious. If you order lox, they will give you a lot of lox. Most of their baked goods are good; if it's something you can get heated up, the you should. I also like the coffee because it's not the bitter dark roast that many cafés serve. And as others have noticed, there is plenty of room to meet with people or do a little bit of work.

Jardin is great! Super nice staff, great food options. The best bagels and fantastic bagel selection! Great pastry selection. Love the play area for kids, the kids can enjoy themselves while I enjoy coffee and bagel. Excellent vibes!

Happiest coffee shop in Richmond/El Cerrito. Lots of space to spread out and work inside and outside. Owner is super nice. Babka and tiny burritos are good. The reason I'll come back is the coffee. Literally the best tasting coffee I've had in the East Bay. And I've tried lots of places in the 20+ years I've lived here. It gets a lot more takeout customers than ppl staying so it's a great place to work. I have a large table to myself for as long as I want it. Happy to support them.

New bagel and smoothie store related to tres hermanos across the st. The staff is very friendly they have sanitizer on all tables the parking is easy and they even offer a kids play zone. I think they might be putting in an outside area soon as well. The vibe is laid back as you sip any manner of coffee/espresso drinks they make with catahoula coffee. The sandwiches are very tasty and hot.

Jardin de los Sueños serves Noah's bagels and Catahoula coffee, and there is a case of tasty pastries that includes several variations of croissant, kouign amann, gourmet babka, and morning buns. This is a much needed bagel spot in this up and coming Richmond neighborhood. The awesome food and coffee, plus the charming and quiet interior of this place make up for its weird location -- tucked right at the on-ramp of I-80. A truly legit spot with an incredibly delicious Bacon, Egg, Cheddar sandwich -- best B.E.C. I've had in the area. The tables are spaced out in a way that is great both for remote working and for gathering with friends. So many coffee shops in the Bay Area feel cramped. The spaciousness of this location feels luxurious! Bonus: big onsite parking lot and incredibly friendly service. Great spot for fluent Spanish speakers too!

I hope this part of san pablo continues to flourish into a vibrant downtown. The north and east neighborhood of richmond is such a cool area with a family friendly feel. Carrot cake smoothie!! I stopped by here to grab lunch for my boyfriend. This is such a cute little spot with many delicious looking items with healthy alternatives. I ordered the Chipotle Sandwich and #6 Tropical Juice, all of which didnt take long to make. The woman (who im assuming is the owner) was very kind and greeted us once we arrived and seemlessly took our order. My boyfriend (who was starving) devoured the sandwich in 5 minutes and said it was sooo delicious. Will definitely come back to try one myself soon!

This cafe has increased my level of happiness! I no longer have to get in my car to drive somewhere outside of my neighborhood to get a delicious healthy smoothie. Additionally, I can sit inside the cafe to get some of my work done on days I work remotely.

My egg, cheese, & avocado bagel sandwich was delicious, delicious cappuccino, freshly squeezed orange juice, superb customer service, & vibe !! Absolutely loved it ! Definitely my new breakfast place!! They also have a lunch menu as well. Cute & big space, they even have a children's table/station, content spaces, & plenty of parking. I'm so glad I found this place! I ordered the berry salad and the lox bagel and both were very very yummy, no complaints whatsoever. The staff is friendly and it's a big space with a kid's area as well. I already know this place is gonna be a regular stop for me from now on, and I look forward to trying more things off the extensive menu :)

We dropped in here for the first time today. I had a turkey chipotle sandwich on ciabatta and my pal had a vegetarian sandwich also on ciabatta. The turkey chipotle sandwich was fresh and delicious! It was a good size sandwich so I'll finish it for dinner. My pal liked her sandwich too! Great service, clean restaurant, cheerful decorations. We'll be back soon!

Great vibe, good coffee, delicious bagel, friendly service, reasonable prices. I can't remember what this building used to be but it has a nice big gated parking lot which is nice, not having to park on street. Looking forward to a new place to come work a day or two a week. I don't have kids but it seems very cool to have a spot for them to play. Excited to see if they manage to turn the open area in the back into a patio, would be awesome.

What a great little bakery and cafe. Their sandwiches were to die for. I had the pesto and ham sandwich on a baguette and my husband had a breakfast sandwich and cinnamon roll. I told the owner that it is properly a good thing (for me) that I don't live closer. We will definitely return if we are in the area again.

This place is the perfect addition to the neighborhood! So grateful I can walk over and enjoy a wide variety of foods and drinks. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting and so are the people working there, who I believe are the owners. Super sweet environment and made us feel so welcome and comfortable.

I just stopped by after reading about his new business on NextDoor. The parking was plentiful, the coffee delicious, and the bagel was good. Best of all, there's a lot of seating that would make this a good place for people who want to chat or work or hang out there. Let's support this new small business!

My new favorite breakfast and lunch spot in Richmond! They have Noah's bagels - so happy to finally have good bagels around - great sandwiches, smoothies, and good coffee. Lovely atmosphere with lots of natural light. They even have a little play area for kids!
