I really wanted to like this place because it's in such a central spot in Santana Row and looks like it has a great vibe, but the actual experience was disappointing.
Our waitress took an unusually long time to get to us and kept walking by despite us trying to flag her down multiple times. If the place had been packed, I would've understood, but it was mostly empty for a Sunday night, so the lack of attention didn't make sense.
On top of that, a surprising number of items were unavailable--even drinks--which is hard to excuse on a weekend. You'd expect them to be fully stocked on a Sunday.
The menu situation also made the experience worse. It's one long, endless scroll on their website that combines brunch, weekday, weekend, and drinks. It's clunky, hard to navigate, and not at all helpful when you're trying to quickly show a server what you'd like. To make things more frustrating, the card that gets handed to you at the front with the bathroom map and tiny QR code feels like such a waste of paper. Why not make that card slightly larger and include the menu? The QR code takes up so little space anyway. Either put one on each table (and leave it there for all guests) or actually make that card useful by listing drinks and food options (at least the ones that are actually in stock).
And then there's the furniture. My table was wobbly, and I noticed several others had the same issue. For a place that's all about presentation and vibe, it feels like a basic detail that should have been taken care of.
Overall, for a place that gives off such a nice vibe at first glance, the execution really fell short. I'd recommend skipping this spot until they figure out their service and menu issues.
