El Mambi Mercado

Been coming to this market for years and never dessapointed. Loaded with Caribbean and Central American products. Produce and meats are always fresh. Lots of items a Domimican would love to have hands on. Friendly and affordable.

It's not fair how wide of a range of latin ingredients can be found under one roof. Whichever sazon, meat, vegetable, fruit, spice, seasoning, can all be found conveniently here. Same amazing service and shopping experience since I was a kid. What a true hidden gem. Ave maria pues!!!

I have been going to EL MAMBI, they have salted pig tail, and butter beans and a lot of Goya's products, no-gas green bananas and other central Americans food. I wish they had salted mackerel. I am going to check to see if they have salted beef. They do have baccalo but not very good quality. I love their sweet potatoes, Ñame root . Thank the Lord that they are still operating in Glendale since this is the last Central American/ Caribbean market left in Glendale CA. ****Someone mentioned below that you should check your receipt before leaving and make certain that they do not overcharge you. I noticed they did that to me before seeing this warning and it was a lot about $15 overcharging me and now I truly believe that they did it on purpose, one of the female cashed me out and I noticed it was too high. She make me feel as if she did not clear the register from the last customer. But now I look back and realize by her response she knew what she did. *** Be careful when the females are cashing you out. It is just a shame to steal from your customers!!

Owner Bryan and employee Victor are great men. The owner went above and beyond to help me out when I needed most. My car broke down and I needed a socket wrench and after asking 10people and getting a no Mr Bryan let me borrow the wrench. What an awesome man God bless you and your business. Thank you soo much 💓

This store has a meat department and a lot of fresh vegetables, it sells a lot of Spanish foods that you can't find at other big box supermarkets. It also sells wine, beer and liquor. The people who work there are all friendly and helpful. Try their turron imported from Spain, you'll love it. 💖

Nice selection of Latin beers from various nations (Mexico, Cuba, Spain, Guatemala, Columbia, etc). Clean and well organized. Friendly, too. They also sell tickets for Lotto draw games. (Not sure if they sell Scratchers)

Everything is very expensive, but it’s a very good first quality. I am treated like a VIP and I enjoy shopping here even for a simple bottle water. This store is my place to go for Dayly. My favorite products, avocado bread, chips, soda, beer, eggs, coffee, and frozen very good quality

You can always fine the products that the Cuban community is custom making specialty meats and produce of top quality rarely found elsewhere.
