Thank you to Mana Pastry for making my husbands dream 49ers birthday cake come to LIFE!!! I brought in a picture of what I was looking for and they recreated it EXACTLY! I got a HUGE 3 tier cake, top tier was vanilla with dulce de leche filling, middle tier was marble with oreo cookies and cream and bottom tier was red velvet with coconut cream cheese filling. Every tier was DELICIOUS! The football on top was big and heavy and began coming down a bit, but that was expected because I left it indoors longer than I wanted to and it got a bit warm. But absolutely no fault of theirs! It was a pretty badass cake and I’m so happy I ended up choosing El Mana. Will gladly do business again!

El Mama Bakery is a true hidden gem! From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out, the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Their customer service is top-tier—warm, attentive, and genuine. They greet you right away and take their time to help with anything you need. I stopped by to pick up a small cake for my son’s surprise party. Although they didn’t have the exact one I was looking for in stock, the staff kindly walked me through all the available options and broke down the different flavors without rushing me. You can really tell they care about their customers. While there, I also picked up a strawberry and cream-stuffed croissant and a carrot cake muffin. The croissant was incredible—fresh, flaky, and filled with just the right amount of sweet cream and strawberries. The muffin was a bit dry, but the cream cheese icing on top was absolutely delicious and made up for it. Whether you're planning a special event or just want to treat yourself, I highly recommend El Mama Bakery. The service is outstanding, and the pastries and cakes are crafted with care—you won’t be disappointed!

El Manna Bakery is hands down one of our favorite bakeries! Conveniently located in Pico Rivera, their pastries are a perfect balance of sweetness, leaning towards the Mexican-inspired side. They have a delightful selection, from quesadillas to amazing fruit tarts and even cake pops for the little ones. What truly sets them apart for us, though, is their birthday cakes. They’re a bit on the expensive side, but absolutely worth it. We’ve gotten our daughter’s birthday cakes here for the past two years. Two years ago, she had a Little Mermaid-themed cake that was a huge hit with everyone. This year, we went with a Hello Kitty theme and tried a new flavor combo of marble and cookies & cream, per the owner’s suggestion, and it was phenomenal! The cake is always moist, perfectly balanced with frosting, and comes with a cute toy on top for the kids. We can’t recommend El Manna Bakery enough for any special occasion. We’re already planning next year’s cake and can’t wait to see what they create for us!

El Mana came recommended by a friend, who was sponsoring our wedding cake. We were able to schedule a cake tasting, which the groom LOVED. All the flavors and frostings were so good it was hard to make a choice. We ended up choosing 3 different pairings for each level of the cake. They also delivered the large cake to the wedding venue and it survived being outside in 90 degree heat until cake cutting time. Wedding guests had RAVE reviews, saying that each flavor was so good and asked for the pastry shop contact info. Thank you!!

First time trying out this place and OMG was that the best decision I’ve made for a last minute party. Went to order my daughter’s birthday cake and it was so delicious. If you’re looking for a nice soft cake with good frosting thats not too sweet, this is the place to go. Not only that their customers service was at its top 🍒! She worked with us to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. But delivered over the top. I went in there asking for something very simple but came out with a bright, fun, delicious cake. I’m super happy with the way my daughter’s cake came out and so was she. Definitely recommend this place. Even their pastries are amazing.

The best all around. We had ordered a birthday cake for my son ahead of time. Not wanting to spend more on the cake toppings we went with a non decorative birthday cake. However, to our surprise when we picked our order it was adorned with a beautiful topping. Amazing! The cake here is not like other pastry shops where it’s overly sweet in order to compensate for the lack of quality. Best patissiers aka pastry chefs around. Not only was it flavorful but the customer service was outstanding. 10/10 Kind, friendly and very helpful staff. I went once again to get another cake as a walk in…Delicious yet again! My family and friends will continue to come here and spread the joy that these amazing people do. Happy customer!

Such a great place .Went yesterday picked up a cake for my mother's birthday. And wow. Great service the lady behind the counter was super friendly and sweet . She told all of the flavors of the cakes . We picked up a few items . A few muffins and a slice of cake other than the one I bought for my mother and man it was delicious. The place was decorated really nice I love it. . So yes I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great tasting cake.

The customer service at this place left us wanting to move forward with buying our next cake. The owner was very patient with us and was able to answer a lot of our questions. We bought single cake slices from her so we can have our own cake tasting, which we did a little inside and I wanted to eat the whole slice. There is plenty of parking and inside the bakery was cool, perfect if you're coming for the summer. Keep in mind of the loud music next door that is dance classes!

Nice place , very busy for a reason . Saw them on social media and even ordered it thru ig. This place is worth the drive and it was great tasting . Lil on the pricey side , but you pay for what u get . I will be back . Good job

1/22/23 My cousin celebrated her birthday today & brother (& sister in law) brought goodies from El Mana Pastries. This review is based solely on the goodies that was brought by my cousin for a birthday celebration. It's a mom & pop place as mentioned & it's Salvadorian. He got a really rich & decadent looking chocolate cake. As I was slicing a piece I could tell it was dense & moist. Surprisingly though, it was actually soft & airy. What made it heavy was the thick chocolate frosting that was way too sweet for our preference (so we just didn't eat that part, but the kids did, of course!). The red velvet cupcakes were delicious, according to sister in law. My hubby ate the fruit tart & I tasted it, the pastry was flaky& the fruits were fresh tasting. Cousin said the prices were fair & would definitely come back to try other items in the menu. When in the area, I'll probably take a quick peek & see what else they're offering.

The lady in the front is very friendly and kind. I have purchased two cakes from this place and I have not been disappointed. I have been absolutely blown away with how beautiful they come out . The inspo pictures I show vs the actual cake , I have got to say they make them way better . Every detail is amazingly done . I will definitely continue to come purchase for future birthdays / events. They also taste soooo good ! The prices are very reasonable for their beautiful work.

Great little hole in the wall place. Small bakery but the place never fails to deliver. The staff are very kind and accommodating. You can tell they are hardworking and put in the work to deliver fresh pastries. Their quesadillas are delicious. Also the crème brûlée. Definitely worth trying. They have many more products but those are my favorite!

We ordered the chocolate flan cake and it was incredible! Everyone at the party said it was the best they ever had. We also had the chocolate and vanilla cupcakes which were out but nothing out of the ordinary. Jesse provided 5 star service! I definitely recommend this little shop for service and the flan cake.

Saw this bakery during the weekend which I had never seen before in my neighborhood today I stopped by to see what kind of pastries they had, went in this little bakery that was decorated very nicely the young man that serviced me was very knowledgeable in the goods that he was selling, bought 12 pastries and didn't know what to expect? after dinner I had a sample of each and everyone of the pastries that was bought today and it was delicious my total came out to $25.05 gave the young man $40.00 and told him to get a tip jar and the rest of the change goes to you.... Love this new bakery in town

So cordial and cooperative! We got to taste so many types of cake layer fillings before buying as we were unsure about the sweetness level. Finally, we bought the birthday cake with raspberry mousse filling! Tasted AH-MAZING! Great ambiance and also has a variety of cake toppers! Recommended 100%

My friend's mom is one of the owners of the pastry shop and their cakes are the best! Staff is very friendly. The shop has some chairs in case you'd like to take a seat when waiting. I recommend El mana if you are in need of a good cake and for the Sunday morning panecito!

Absolutely one of the best bakeries I've been to. The customer service is phenomenal and the desserts are incredible! I got a birthday mini cake for my 2 year old and she absolutely loved it! Cake was fantastic Need to eat at room temperature so the flavors come out. Daughter and mother we're very helpful when I entered the bakery. Napoleon and crème brûlée was delicious as well.

Found this gem today the pastries are very delicious we tried the blueberry & raspberry pastry but the best one we had was the upside down pineapple pastry so good. Customer service was great very welcoming & friendly people.

Oh my goodness it is delicious I got an Oreo cheese cake and is super good you can taste the flavor of the cheesecake and the chocolate with Oreo I also got a quesadilla it's super good as well you can really taste all the flavor in it like the butter it's super soft and fresh and really fluffy and the best part of all is that's it's all hand made. And it true that they say "Bread falling from heaven" (PAN CAÍDO DEL CÍELO ). Serves: The serves was great they tell you if it's hand made they also tell you if it's good or not they are very helpful,very friendly. Ambiance: The connection I felt was like a cute little coffee shop to just like chill very like a place to hang out with your friends. I recommend this place 100%

Best bakery for any occasion. I've gotten my cakes and cookies made here and they always deliver. Their artwork and creativity is phenomenal. Their pastries are also delicious.

So I've bought a couple of cakes here and deserts. First of all the decorations of the cakes are definitely beautiful but I'll give it a 6 out of 10 on the flavor. I've always said you can't have a beautiful cake that tastes super good because of the fondant and icing they have to use for the cakes. I'm giving it a 4 start because one time when I was picking up my cake they made me wait half and hr because it wasn't ready. With my busy schedule I just couldn't have that. Other than that they are all super nice here.

My absolute favorite and nearby cake and pastries place! Family owned, you can feel the unity and customer ser service as soon as you walk through the door. I stopped by for pastries a couple of weeks ago for a family reunion and walked out with my order placed for my sons birthday. My son is graduating as an electrician next month and they came up with this amazing looking and tasting cake. My son loved it! Thank you so much!

I confirmed 2 dozen cupcakes for my sons birthday 1 month in advance and confirmed a 7am pick up. To my surprise they didn't open until 9am. When we returned to pick up the cupcakes. They didn't have my order. And because of this it caused my son's celebration to be delayed and I didn't end up getting what I originally had ordered. Very disappointed and unprofessional.

Decided to stop at this local bakery and I am so happy that I did! They not only sell whole cakes but also pastries and slices of cake. I love this because sometimes you want a slice of cake with out wanting to buy a whole cake. Absolutely delicious!

My first time trying their chocolate cake for my daughter's birthday and we all were happily satisfied with the cake. It was heavenly flavored! The best way I can compliment this cake is comparing it to the movie Matilda when the boy is devouring the chocolate cake and he makes it look so delicious!! Let me start by saying that I don't like Tres Leches Cake, but this cake is Very delicious! I love the combinations of milks and their whipped cream has this unique flavor to it that brings it all together. Will be ordering another cake soon!

Just found the shop a month ago we placed an order for cupcakes for my niece, and I was so happy. The colors that she use were amazing I love that these cupcakes did not come out too sweet. It was hard to put them down since then I've been going, maybe once a week and just buy myself something sweet, our favorites are the berries and cream and flan.

El Mana Pastry Shop makes wonderful desserts and pastries. I have been a customer for years and was so excited when they opened their shop. They made cookies and cake pops for my sister's babyshower and they were a hit!!! So delicious!!! Not too sweet and just wonderful! I also purchased their delicious pastries that they make fresh everyday. My absolute favor is their Choco Flan. Just incredible!

Ordering from El Mana is always a good experience. They never disappoint! Not only can they make any creation aesthetically, but the bread and fillings are also delicious. It is the right amount of moist and soft. The berries and cream cake is to die for! But it is safe to say any cake flavor you choose is a great choice.

Was looking for pineapple upside down cake . They sell individual slices daily and you can order in various sized cakes. Oh yeah, they taste good too, Nice clean little store with friendly helpful help. Good prices too. You don't see that too much today.

They have the best cheesecake and cheese rolls. Got my mom a cake here for her 60th birthday, it was so good, I ended up getting my own birthday cake here too! Highly recommend this place. The cakes.. they can make any design you want come to life!
