The 19 Best Bottomless Brunches In Chicago

"If you’ve lived in Chicago for any stretch of time, you’ve probably been to El Mariachi in Lakeview. The large back patio is a popular spot for group get-togethers, specifically the ones that involve day drinking. While the OK Mexican food here isn’t going to win any awards (the menu has standards like breakfast burritos and tequila french toast), nothing costs over $14.99. So, honestly, you really can’t afford to not come here. The Deal: Bottomless mimosas including an entrée for $31.99" - adrian kane, veda kilaru

Came here for the bottomless mimosas and was quite surprised by the excellent service and yummy food! Armando was a great waiter, always checking on our table and on top of refills. Highly recommend and will be coming back:)

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food with some modern flare, this is the place for you. The food is absolutely delicious and comes out to the table well presented and hot! The service was exceptional and the atmosphere is fun and authentic.

We had the BEST experience thanks to our amazing waiter, Armando! From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcome and taken care of. His energy was so warm and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He had great recommendations, was super attentive without being overbearing, and made the whole experience feel special. You can tell he truly cares about his guests and takes pride in his work. Thank you, Armando, for making our day so memorable! We will definitely be back and hope to see you again!

A relative recommended this place to us, it was worth trying out. Food was delicious, service was great, the outside patio is super romantic at night with the lights and music. We both had the Pollo En Salsa with Suiza. Come try it out for yourself!

On Sunday night we celebrated our daughter's graduation with family and friends at El Mariachi. I had been in touch with Tony leading up to the event and he made it easy and effortless. Our table of 13 was seated promptly. Our waiter was attentive and timely. The food was delicious and all came out at the same time. Everyone loved their meals and drinks! But the best surprise of all was the dessert tray they brought out for the table with a celebration from the staff. If you are looking for authentic delicious Mexican this is your place to go!

Stop by to grab a drink here. Great atmosphere, great menu even though I didn’t order a drink. I got a strawberry margarita, and while it want the best one I’ve had, it was a decent drink. Free chips and salsa which is always a plus in my book.

Came for restaurant week and received the bottomless mimosas! The atmosphere was great! As soon as your mimosa was low they immediately come refill your glass! I will definitely be back!

Yelp
David was amazing! He was very helpful in what happy hour included but also very generous! I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Restaurant week works cause otherwise I won't be here for brunch. It's a charming spot with the expose brick painted textured wall tasteful paintings with chips and salsa at the start. The french fries are amazing. You don't almost need to ketchup up for these fries The birria grilled cheese sandwich is juicy if a little bland on the side, but believe it or not? I have no problem with that because there's so much stuff in there like melted cheese, eggs even so you can still taste the meat Horchata reduction French toast is too beautiful to consume the sauce is like bananas foster. I'm good with that and they're also generous with the portions. We also like the mimosa margaritas The Bailey shot at the end with the bits of toasted coconut flakes is excellent. Adds texture to the Baileys, which is already thick. Nice ending.

Yelp
Hard to go wrong with bottomless brunch, and the food was pretty good, but not sure I'd return because of mediocre service. I tried the bottomless mimosa brunch at El Mariachi Tequila bar for the first time recently. We had some trouble finding it at first - there is another El Mariachi close by (also on Broadway so the addresses are very similar), and the website had the address for the OTHER El Mariachi listed! I was able to sit down a couple minutes before our reservation time but the other member of my party was about 15 minutes late due to the confusion with the address. Apparently the bottomless mimosa service has a 2 hr time limit (totally understand that), and we were assured they wouldn't include those ~15 minutes in our dining time. Eventually my friend arrived and we ordered our meals - we got a belgian waffle and breakfast burrito. Both portions were very large and tasted pretty good, but nothing special. The mimosas were good (hard to go wrong!) and our server was always quick to refill them. However, after about an hour and a half our server informed us it was "last call" for drinks. We were pretty much done with our food so wouldn't have stayed much longer anyway, but it was a little frustrating that we weren't able to enjoy the full 2 hours (I imagine it was almost 2 hours from our original reservation time, not from when we were seated and began our meal). Again not a huge deal, but didn't leave the best impression to be so strict (and inconsistent) with the timing. Overall, it was a fine experience but not sure it's high on my list to return to.

Yelp
A fantastic Mexican restaurant with good food and a beautiful outdoor patio in the back that has you feeling like you're on vacation. I've come here many times and always leave feeling stuffed. The staff is attentive and always willing to bring a refill for the chips and salsa. Whether I'm ordering tacos, burritos, their soups - I haven't had a bad meal. If you're feeling adventurous and want something new, then give the Sopes Oaxaqueños a try. They do have a pretty affordable bottomless mimosas brunch if that's more your style too. The front dinning area has windows that open in the summer which is nice, however there have been a few instances of individuals coming to the window to panhandle from the patrons seated at those tables.

Yelp
The food and the margaritas were delicious. Our server, Aurora was fantastic. The mimosas were trash, they are pre mixed and they are served from a pitcher. Disgusting. I should have stuck with the margaritas. Ample metered street parking, parking was quick and easy to find. The restaurant played excellent music.

Yelp
Great food, great drinks, great services for a great price! Went for a birthday brunch and did the bottomless deal. The dishes were all delicious. The service was friendly and quick. The mimosas were also good and they kept refilling them as needed. I've been here a few times before and every time it has been a memorable experience. I would definitely go again for another brunch :)

Yelp
Very nice place! Good spot to have dinner with friends. Standard Mexican fare with good service. Nice for a lowkey gathering without a tons of bells and whistles. LOVE their open windows in the front of house. Margaritas were strong and delicious. Our server was awesome! She was attentive and conversational. Good Mexican place to keep in my back pocket

Yelp
Enjoyed a late dinner with some girlfriends on the patio. We all loved the atmosphere and the food and drinks were fantastic. We also scored an order of free churros by checking in on the yelp app, so be sure to see if the deal is available! The only off thing about the experience was having pictures taken of us at our table and later trying to be sold into buying them. It seems like too nice of a restaurant for that. A bit kitschy/touristy.

Yelp
Went in for a weekend brunch and had a great experience. The brunch itself was a great deal with the entree and bottomless mimosas for $35 total. Most places in the city charge that for just the alcohol. The entree selection was vast, a good portion, and we never saw the bottom of our mimosa glass! One strange thing to note was the photographer who come around to each table to take pictures without explanation. They then print out and try to sell you the pictures for $20 a frame LOL.

Yelp
Terrible service, food was cold and bland. It used to be my favorite restaurant but has gone down hill, it's a shame.

Yelp
Both the service and food are pretty bad. El Mariachi is a restaurant I reluctantly go to with friends who want Mexican and every-time we go it keeps getting worse and worse. This past time it took nearly 2 hours for a simple / uncomplicated order. At one point the manager came by apologizing for the delay but then suggested we purchase more alcohol (we declined)- it seems in poor taste to be milking a check by making guests wait and encouraging spending more money as a solution. When the food finally arrive it was mediocre- stale tortillas, overcooked chicken, flavorless beans and rice. Both me and my partner also had stomachaches a couple hours after eating here. To make matters worse, I left a 10% tip which seemed fair given the slow / poor service and shoddy food but then the waiter came out chasing us demanding we give him more gratuity. Yeah 10% isn't ideal but seemed more than fair for what we went through. The ambiance is very lackluster as well. There are plenty of Mexican places a few blocks away. Avoid El Mariachi at all cost. ‍

Yelp
Well, I got a haircut, and I didn't think my friends would make fun of me for it, but they did.. Luckily at El Mariachi, their house margs and chimichanga lightened the mood.. We were able to change the subject and make fun of someone else at the table instead of me which was nice. I always wondered why they are called "house margs" bc I would call them "restaurant margs" bc we are eating at a restaurant..

Yelp
Met a friend for dinner here over the weekend, and the food was great! They had a lady walking around asking if people would like their pictures taken, which I thought was very intriguing. Great patio atmosphere, but I thought the service was a little slow for how busy it was on the inside and patio. I'd visit again, but maybe try it during happy hour or for a specific event coming up. I recommend trying out the patio!
google avatar

Yelp
Looks welcoming from the outside. When the weather is nice they have the patio windows open. Bartender was nice and helpful even pointed out the half priced appetizers on the menu for me. Appetizers came quickly (noticed many negative reviews talking about speed of service) but would also like to add only a handful of customers were present so can't speak on service during peak hours. Chicken Taquitos had a cute and fun presentation with decent flavor nothing spectacular but not bad either. The Trio de Quesos Fundido was super greasy. Came out with a layer of oil sitting on top. Also ordered with chorizo but had none which i can't imagine how much more greasy it would be with chorizo. And i got charged for the chorizo on the bill. Good thing appetizers were only half off.

Yelp
Food--10/10. Drinks 10/10--service 20/10. This place is decently priced, delicious and incredible service ! Brunch is wonderful, bright, open and airy this is a wonderful place for a Saturday brunch. Highly recommend and seriously the best chips and salsa I've ever had.
google avatar

Yelp
Sopas OAXAQUENOS were so delicious! Dairy Free Gluten Free Vegetarian- I took off the queso fresco. highly recommend!! We got the house margarita - classic and mango. The nachos arrive fully loaded on each chip. Servers and management were super friendly and helpful with my allergens :)

Yelp
After reading some reviews, my boyfriend and I were a little hesitant about coming in, but I'm so happy we did. I'm obsessed!!!! Despite its small size, the restaurant exudes charm and coziness. Our server was an absolute amazing, constantly checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. The chips and salsa were so fresh and yummy! We decided to indulge in a margarita pitcher for $40, and it was well worth it considering its generous size. As for the main course, we both opted for tostadas - I went for the veggie option while he chose chorizo. I've had maybe a million tostadas at this point, and these were my favorite ever. They stole the show with their incredible flavor, perfect texture (not soggy at all!!), and downright deliciousness. While the rice and beans were good, they paled in comparison to the star of the meal. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this spot for amazing food and vibes

Yelp
I'd been hearing that El Mariachi had a great deal on brunch and mimosas, so I decided to go check it out with a couple friends. The staff was super friendly, and the ambiance was awesome. We sat on the outdoor patio, which was impressively nice and well decorated. We all went for the brunch deal, which is ~$32 for bottomless mimosas and an entree. Not a bad deal! The mimosas were great, the staff were walking around filling peoples' glasses with mimosas as we ate. I ordered the egg and chorizo breakfast burrito, while both of my friends got the torta de pollo. The food was alright, it didn't blow me away but definitely did the job. Especially considering the brunch deal, it wasn't bad! Overall, I think the experience was great for the price. The food was decent and the vibe was great. I could definitely see myself going back!

Yelp
One of the great things about Chicago is the abundance of amazing places to eat. There is never a shortage of delicious food all around town and the variations of how so many cuisines are presented. Recently, I dined at El Mariachi Tequila Bar and Grill and well, let me tell you how that all went.... We were warmly greeted and shortly thereafter, seated to a table that provided optimal views of the restaurants beautiful interior. It was warm, cozy and spacious inside with decor that made you feel like you were eating in a quaint villa in Mexico. Next up was the amazing food... here's a rundown of what we enjoyed: Tableside guacamole: Made to order and to your tastes! Fresh avocados are gently crushed with ingredients such as onion, jalapeno, tomato, salt, freshly squeezed lime juice and cilantro. Simply and so delicious with their housemade tortilla chips! Weekly Special Citrus Shrimp: This refreshing appetizer was the creation of their executive chef which consists of rock shrimp, spicy poblano guacamole all set atop a thinly sliced orange segment. Strikingly beautiful yet packed with some heat! Ceviche de Camaron: This shrimp ceviche is not your typical version! Shrimp is marinated in sweet passion fruit and citrus juices and tossed with Peruvian corn, red onion and aji amarillo pepper. The additional crisp tortilla chips made for a perfect way to scoop this in your mouth... Margarita Yucateca: And what would this delicious Mexican dinner be without a proper margarita?! This colorful libation involves hibiscus infused Cabo Wabo tequila, blood orange, triple sec, habanera simple syrup and agave nectar... olé! Carne Asada Costena: A grilled skirt steak is marimated over night and served with specialty sauteed and seasoned cream shrimp (shrimp not shown) and served with cilantro lime rice and black beans. It was wonderful and such a great twist on a surf and turf dish! Salmon a la Veracruzana; An 8oz salmon filet is wrapped in banana leaves and served over a tomato caper Veracruzana salsa, accompanied by cilantro lime rice and caramelized plantains. Pollo Relleno; A breaded chicken roulade stuffed with chorizo, sweet corn, poblano, asafetida cheese... served over creamy tomatillo salsa, really asked garlic cheese potatoes and ancho green beans. This had to be my favorite dish of the night next to the chips and freshly made guacamole! Chipotle Ribeye: A well seasoned boneless ribeye toppde with mushrooms, creamy tomatillo salsa all served with roasted garlic cheese potatoes and ancho green beans. Another unique twist on steak and potatoes. And finally it was time for dessert! We were presented with a beautiful platter of three desserts consisting of cheesecake, chocolate flourless cake and flan. All were made in house and they were fantastic! After an outstanding meal, we stepped outside to their back patio... and wow. It was an awesome space perfect for outdoor dining. During the day, you can take in all the exposed brick, wide open season and beautifully paved patio. By night, you can enjoy the twinkling lights, soft glow of the lanterns and the beautiful and romantic ambiance.

Yelp
Just an awful dining experience in general. Came here today for Sunday brunch with a group of friends, and we were a larger party of 10. We weren't misbehaving by any means but long story short, we received cold food and were at our table for 3 hours. Not by choice, but rather it took a hour-1.5 to take our order and another hour for the food to come out. Without our waitress coming by to check on us. To go back to the beginning, from decor and ambience this restaurant is really nice. Staff were friendly and it seemed like they would be on top of things. As a larger group, we prepped for longer waits and just slower service as the place was full and we were a large group. However, just a rough experience. We got sat and it started off fine. We got some drinks after waiting 30 mins for our order to be taking. We let it slide as our waitress was waiting a lot of tables. However, as more of our party came in, we just didn't get that level of service I expected. No one came by our table or check on us. It took them about a 1.5 hour for us to finally get our food orders in. There were plenty of busboys coming by to fill waters but thought they at least get someone to check on us for food. Given it was busy so we let it slide again Now, where it got disturbing and frustrating was how neglected we felt as a table. No problem one came by to check on us. We waited awhile for our food but there was no like check up on how we were doing, giving us a good update or asking if we wanted drinks. It felt like they just ignored our table. Some of the group members got bottomless margs but tbh they didn't get their money's worth. Most of them only got one or two refills and before we knew it. We got told it was the last refill as 2 hours were up. We sat there for 3 hours in total. Took us about 2-2.5 hours to finally get our food. We thought the food cooking was long but the craziest thing was some people's food at our table was cold. I got avocado toast (knew it would be cold, but it felt like things were spoiled or just left out waiting to get sent out of the kitchen too long). Same went for a few skillet and torta sandwiches. Just awful and since we were a big group we got stuck with a 20% gratuity. I know there are variables when dining. Service can be slow due to more patrons. But it never feels good to set a reservation at 1230p at a place that said they accommodate and treat us right. They had a table for us but service just never came. We got served cold dishes. We didn't get check in's or at least an apology for how long service was taking. It just felt like we were abandoned- at first we just gave them a break cause we thought it's due to the large crowd. But lots of tables came after us and left before we left even before our orders for food were taken. We left a lot of dishes unfinished and one or two of the guys got sick from the cold skillets that were delivered. Big kicker was the table behind us sat after us, got served before us, and they also drank too much and puked on the ground. So that was fun to deal with and sit next to Bad experience but I won't hold it on them. Maybe I'll try again but I think the 2 stars stays. Big groups can be accommodate but truly just awful service and we felt cheated out of our meals. If you come, just drink and leave. Not worth the money spent for food. $20 for cold steak skillets. Better quality at an IHOP by I-90 I'll try this place again. But it won't be anytime soon.

Yelp
Got the steak skillet and it was pretty average in my opinion. Great portion size and price but could've used some more seasoning. This was my first time there so maybe I need to try more items (heard their unlimited mimosa deal is pretty good) but can't report there was anything mind blowing here. Will give them brownie points for having a nice patio!

Yelp
It should be no stars at all. Came off a 12 hour shift from the hospital and wanted to treat my daughter visiting from the Philippines to some good Mexican food, I saw that Mariachi is close from my work so we went there. After we were seated by the host we were a given a basket of complimentary chips while we were looking through the menu and in the 20 minutes we were there, no waiter approached us take any of our orders. One waiter/server were passing by us and chatting with diners beside, back and adjacent to us and none of them stopped to get our orders. We don't know if it was a race thing (we were the only Asians in that section of the restaurant front facing the street ) or if our waiter was just too busy to make time to cater to us. I saw our host and told her we are leaving offered $20 for the complimentary chips, told her the reason and her excuse was " Oh maybe your waiter is at the patio" Hmm... It's the host responsibility to inform the waiter or most of the time there is a waiter assigned for the patio and for the front. I was severely disappointed for everything. Lord have mercy why did i even bother bringing my daughter at this restaurant for her to experience that kind of thing.

Yelp
Way too loud. Have to practically scream to carry on a conversation. After 30 minutes of placing order, we are still waiting.

Yelp
This place always is good for food and drinks! Our waiter David was awesome. The restaurant is beautiful too

Yelp
I am usually not one to post reviews but after the bad service we had Saturday i definetely need to voice my opinion. Had a gathering of people and already issues walking in, the person that helped us i believed named Robert the manager, he wasnt much help at all and wouldnt do much to help the situation either. It was to our understanding that we did have a reservation but they ended sitting us in a different location. Robert was being very dismissive and gave off angry vibes anytime we needed help idk how someone like that can work that way the place needs to re-evaluate their management and get it together. Our server Ivan was such an angel and very attentive to everything we needed and checked on us to make sure we were doing ok, he was such a light of positivity to the whole situation. Out of the whole experience i dont really recommend it but the food and drinks were good so that was a plus even though it took almost one hour to get.

Yelp
My friends decided to surprise me with a birthday dinner here this last week and while my company at the table was everything I could have asked for, the service and experience as a whole left much to be desired. I will start by saying this: I am in the service industry. I work for a big Chicago restaurant and am deeply engrossed in the hospitality industry; an industry and ideology that El Mariachi clearly does not subscribe to. There are so many things I can focus on in this review: Food/drink taking an hour and a half to reach the table, orders not being correct, being asked if we were done when we hadn't even put our food order in yet, but what I really want to focus on is the complete lack of ownership or accountability by leadership or really anyone in the restaurant. Mistakes happen, things go awry, but what makes a difference is how this is handled. Management's complete dismissal of our dissatisfaction and staunch unwillingness to do anything about it told me more about how this place is run than anything else could. If you come here know this: the food is fine (when it's right), the drinks are fine, but do not expect an ounce of care should anything go wrong.

Yelp
Bottomless. Brunch. What an incredible deal. $32 for bottomless mimosas AND and entree. And let me tell you, they refilled your glass quickly. I'm not gonna say the entree was out of this world, but it was really good for being a part of that deal. I got the Buenos Dias Skillet and it was pretty good! You also still get chips and salsa for the table.
google avatar

Laura A.

Yelp
Hospitable server. Excellent chips and salsa. I loved my burrito, very well seasoned. Slightly long wait time after placing your order but with a reservation you are seated quickly despite it being extremely busy. Wish there was more flexibility with ordering different menu items despite specified menu time.
google avatar

Josh B.

Yelp
So I went here because a date recommended and it was... pretty much as expected. It's not bad by any standard it was just mid. We got comp chips and salsa as we sat down. The chips were great, all the salsas were very mild. One was green, one was smokey, and one was standard. It was tasty for the free part. I wanted to order something outside the box so I ordered the Camarones al Mojo de Ajo. The shrimp was SMALL. Like I'm not expecting massive shrimp for $21 but something bigger than the shrimp I would get from the fake Harold's across the street. The flavors were good and it was well seasoned. What I can say is the service was lovely. Our server and the bus staff were just fantastic, attentive, and really nice. All in all if you want Mexican staples I'd recommend the place across the street. I'm sure there are better sit down restaurants for a comparable price in the city. You'll be fine here though if you end up here.
google avatar

Peggy J.

Yelp
The back patio is fantastic, because it's one of the few places you can sit outside that is not on the street, but sadly the service is not great. Chips & salsa came fast, but no napkins or silverware; I had to get my own after waiting more than 10 minutes. It took more than 20 minutes for the server to have time to take our order. They are clearly short staffed. The food is nothing special, it's just ok.

Laura L.

Yelp
Wow!!! Came here because our chosen restaurant was full. And we are so happy it worked out this way! The waitstaff is amazing - Griselda was THE BEST! and every dish we had was above par! The outdoor space is beautiful and the drinks were well made We will absolutely be back!!!!

Yelp
El Mariachi Tequila Bar & Grill is a classic Tex-Mex restaurant located in Wrigley Park, Chicago. Starting with the location, the restaurant is big enough to host get-togethers and family dinners but also works well for couples. It is a low-key and casual vibe where people are found enjoying Mexican food and Margaritas. Like any other Mexican restaurant, they start with free chips and salsa, which were tasty and classic. We decided to skip appetizers since the entrees were pretty filling. For the entrée, I got the Chimichanga w/ veggies and Chipotle sauce which also comes with rice and beans. Chimichanga hits the spot if you are craving Tex-Mex and the chipotle salsa adds a unique twist of flavor to it. For the price and quantity of the entrée, I would totally get the same thing again. Discussing with my friends, they also recommended the fajitas which were very flavorful and came with rice/beans/guac, and sour cream. For dessert, I got the Flan covered with whip cream/strawberries which was amazing as it was just the right amount of sweetness, 10/10. Not a BYOB place; however, the drinks looked delicious. The service at the restaurant is really nice with food coming out at the appropriate time. The waitress was well-informed about the menu and everyone in the restaurant was extremely courteous and helpful. Due to a large seating area, there is usually no need for a reservation for a party of 5 or fewer. They also have a bottomless brunch and happy hour that I would check out next time.

Yelp
It's always fun going to El Mariachi Tequila Bar & Grill, especially during brunch! They have an ultimated mimosa brunch which is affordable and for approximately two hours. The food is absolutely delicious. I have had the chicken fajita burrito and the buenos dias skillet and both are delicious. I additionally love the starters of salsa and chips. The staff have always been very nice and willing to answer any questions I have. I definitely recommend trying El Mariachi!

I had the pleasure of having the bottomless mimosa brunch at this location . Our food was delicious and our server Eleazar was the best. He was very attentive, knowledgeable about the food choices and possessed exceptional customer service skills. We definitely will be back. The staff was all friendly and helpful. I didn't even realize there was an outside patio in the back, It definitely was a vibe. There was only one minor detail that has to be noted we were trying to get the attention of the young lady standing at the podium with the black on and she looked directly in my daughter's face and ignored us. That's not how you treat customers. Either way we definitely enjoyed the establishment.

Yelp
I've been to this place TONS of times and can't believe I haven't reviewed it yet. We went here for New Years Day brunch and got the bottomless mimosas. I am sensitive to citrus (turn very red) and the waitress was nice enough to have the bartender make me a separate pitcher of mimosas with only a splash of OJ (honestly, that's how mimosas should be made anyways, in my opinion) and she poured from that pitcher for me the whole time. I had the chilaquiles and everyone at my table loved their food. I will continue to frequent El Mariachi - great food, great service, local!

Yelp
Well... first and last time coming to this place, thats how I can start this. Was invited to my friends bday dinner and lets say it wasn't the most pleasant experience. Having friends and family that works and owns in the service industry really gives me a clear idea of how bad this establishment cares about their customers, from poor customer service and attentiveness to racism and lack of ownership. As I walked in, I wasn't even greeted or anything, the girl at the reception desk looked at me and looked away. Thankfully my friends were seated nearby so I saw them and seated my self, I mean no biggy right? I though to my self. Also keep on mind we were seated inside, the original reservation was for us to be seated on the patio, but it was changed without prior notice. The waiter doesn't even ask me if I wanted something to drink or told where to see the menu, I was unaware it was thru a QR code. My friend, the host of the party, had to told him to bring me a drink and show me where to see the menu, its okay I thought, busy day, lets not overthink about it. My drink took like 20ish mins to arrive... a simple margarita shouldn't take that long tbh, never the less when its not even made with fresh juice, they taste fake, they are clearly made with a marg mix or just like some mexican restaurants, they have a big batch of margarita mix ready to serve made the night before. I mean either way they took forever for a simple marg. They took our order like 30 mins after that, then took another hour to bring out food, orders were wrong btw. food was okay, wouldn't say it was bad but tacos made with premade, prepackaged tortillas, not even handmade, with rice and beans that are also premade ready for the day ahead, shouldn't take a whole hour to arrive. When my friend told the manager, Roberto, about how unpleasant and bad the whole service was, he pretty much laughed it off and even tried to invalidate his complain by saying "you all look like were having a good time to me", what?... We didn't ask for ur opinion bud, however we decide to spend the time together has nothing to do with how poor your customer service is, thats the least of ur concerns when the facts are there right in front of you, us laughing or whatever about something between us has nothing to do with you taking forever to bring food, drinks and showing no care for your customers, like what do you wanted us to do instead then? look mad, crappy and be rude just like your staff? because even the guy who brought the food was rude for no reason, like if it was our fault the fact that we were missing orders and some of the ones we got were wrong. But wait, this is the funny thing, he stopped me, the only latino in the group, and ask me IN SPANISH how everything was, to what I said not the best, trying to be relatable to me and even inviting me a drink for what reason? diminish my friend's complain or prove some type of stereotype? such a low racist and homophobic move... I was not the person to neither be approached to talk about it, that was to be talked with the person who made the reservation and take accountability for your actions and ur staff but instead u ignored them and laugh about them, pretty offensive. So bottom line is, food is okay, will take forever and they will not give u a heads up, or update you nor show care for you while you wait. Drinks are not good it all and will also take forever. If you have a complain well... be ready to be laughed about it because "you looked like you are having a good time". The only good servers there were Ivan and Jean (or Sean cannot rly remember his name) they were nice, the rest of the people maybe can learn how to be more polite and some customer service skills.

Yelp
I really enjoyed this Mexican restaurant. The workers were so friendly and the food was delicious!! They even sang happy birthday together for a table next to us. We ordered a marg pitcher which was so yummy. We got tacos and finished all of them!! I highly recommend it.

Yelp
This is a solid neighborhood Mexican spot. I got the mole enchiladas both times I've gone (you can mix and match the meats on your 3 enchiladas) and definitely enjoyed it a lot! The salsa is with the chips is surprisingly tasty! Good for groups for sure. I'm pregnant so can't partake in the drink specials but will definitely be back to try their margaritas!

Yelp
We tried this place and the food was just okay--standard Mexican food, nothing to rave about. The service was good, but wasn't personable. The ambiance was a bit outdated and the energy of the place felt low. We were disappointed as this place was recommended by a friend who used to live in Chicago. We didn't have a terrible experience, but it wasn't that great either.

Yelp
Absolutely the worst service I have ever received in my entire life. Despite our server Ivan having a great attitude and attention to detail, there was little to be done to make up for the experience. Despite booking a table on the patio, we were seated inside because "that's what was available", the surprise for our friend's birthday was ruined by the hostess, and the manager on the floor, Roberto, told me that our table "looked like we were doing fine" so he wouldn't able to do anything to help us. Not sure if it's because our table was a combination of black or LGBT guests, but the only way I would recommend this spot is if it were replaced with a different restaurant. Avoid at all costs!

Yelp
My friends and I have been here several times and we love it. Just this past weekend we all had a Bachelor Party in one of the back rooms and the staff and management couldn't have been nicer! We all loved the food and our drinks were great. We were able to celebrate our friends day and they helped make it so special. The management also emailed us asking us to come back in the future which we will! We really appreciated it and had a fantastic time. This place is great for weekend brunches as well! Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
Being from Texas, I'd say I'm a little spoiled when it comes to Mexican food. This place WAS SOOO GOOD!! 10/10 drinks were amazing, definitely recommend the Bloody Maria, if you're from TX add some spice to it. The jalapeño Margarita slapped. My group was so happy with their food. I wish Chicago wasn't so far away!

Yelp
When we walked in the restaurant was extremely busy but everyone was kind and and attentive, especially LUIS. The food was incredible and the atmosphere was 14:/10. Luis continuously refilled our drinks and i would come with anyone i could convince to come.

Yelp
Wow, this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have eaten at. Not only is the food delicious, the menu is quite diverse and not just filled with the standard dishes available at every other Mexican restaurant. And on top of it, the have a rotating menu of ever changing special dishes. Even the bar has stepped up their game and has unusual drinks. We had cucumber-jalapeno margaritas, on the rocks, and in a pitcher. They even had several carefully chosen craft beers on tap (great choices for a Mexican restaurant) that I have never had before. Chips and 2 salsas were clearly homemade. The appetizer we enjoyed, and its a must order if you like plantains, was the Sopes Oaxaquenos. Our entree was the enchiladas poblanos - chicken enchiladas with a fantastic poblano cream sauce, esquite corn and roasted garlic rice were the side dishes. The dining room and bar were also well designed and the service was great. Definitely check this place out.

Yelp
Came here for brunch with friends on a Saturday. We each had an entree and the bottomless mimosas. The food was really tasty, and the pours were generous. Can't wait to take other friends here!

Yelp
We have been walking past this place for 4 days and decided to give it a try. We sat at the bar. Cute looking place. Bartender was pretty cool and gave a solid recommendation ( after I asked for it). All in all it was just OK. Pretty bland. No real bold flavors. Service was fine -just kinda there ‍. It did the job but I am not rushing back to eat there.
