"Las Vegas locals are quick to mention El Menudazo when asked about pozole. The restaurant may specialize in menudo, which looks like pozole but is actually prepared with tripe, but its pozole, which is slow-cooked with pork and available in two sizes, is a hit too." - Krista Diamond

Google
I’ve always liked live music, even if it is just one guy just singing with his speaker. To me the music make the place more alive. We ordered menudo it was good. Needed salt. Added it and was good with a cold beer.

Noemi Villalobos

Google
Small hole in the wall. You can only pay in cash or zelle. Menudo used to taste really good here, but lately, not so much.

THE LAS VEGAS NATIVE SPREADING THE TRUTH

Google
I love their Menudo, I won't go any where else and eat there!!! Hands down they have the best Menudo and customer service...I can be the only black person in the resturant and they treat me with so much respect, THANK YOU....

1 Stop Financial

Google
The girl outside at the salsas is super rude and offended me. I went to order tacos she said she wasn't ready I said that's fine and waited in my car her co-worker told her to take my order and she said she can wait there's kids that haven't eaten in a long time and they wait so can she... I was in disbelief as I was not pushing anyone to get my order.

Liliana Rodriguez

Google
This place has gone down the drain dramatically. Second time that the menudo is "eh okay". However, kid quesadillas were burnt and the pieces of menudo were so big that they were impossible to bite apart. And to top it off the live music was way too loud. Will not return.

Becky C

Google
I had breakfast here and the food is so delicious and it's a reasonable price for the meal. I definitely recommend this to anybody who enjoys mexican food. They also offer free complimentary coffee and they do have flat screen t.v. to watch games(: If you stop by on the weekends, there's live entertainment. ( there also on Ubereats )

JD

Google
Chorizo and pastor tacos were amazing. Great food and service.

Chapo Tha Kid

Google
I ordered two pozoles with granos and one menudo and when I got home 1 menudo 1 pozole hardly any grants and one cup of caldi with one wueso, 2 tiny pieces of lime no oregano and big bag of onio... $65 was not worth it at all!!! Next!

Hector C.

Yelp
We used to eat there almost every weekend but I guess Covid hasn't left this place. The coffee used to be free, now they charge- that's okay nothing is free in this world but THEY ARE CHARGING REFILLS!! My wife enjoyed the hand made tortillas, they no longer make because of Covid , it also affected chips and salsa. The new owner just lost a long time customer.

Mia G.

Yelp
Buen sabor. Auténtico. Donde los locales comen. Recomendado para la cruda. Fuera del centro.

Jess L.

Yelp
Cash Only No prices on Menu Please see menu pic No Chicken taco First of all the menu is lacking in information and the staff does not give an accurate description of what you will receive. I was the only one at the establishment around 12:30 pm. I asked for pricing and sizes before ordering. I was told the chicken wings would come with 6 wings per order ( received 4 per order). The order of Birria does not come with beans or arroz. I was quoted $5.99 per taco. Fries were under done. Birria lacked some spices, mild flavor. I probably would not eat inside the restaurant but might consider coming back to pick up some birria if I NEED to bring something home.

Yelp
Worse service by the lady that was at the salsas outside today. She offended me by saying she wasn't ready to take my order that if kids that have not eaten in a long time so can I. When I wasn't even pushing her to get my order.

Rachael P.

Yelp
Food wasn't worth it! Service wasn't bad but nothing special. Ambiance was ok. I love supporting small businesses but this one was shady DO NOT GO OFF THE PRICES ON YELP OR UBER EATS. They are incorrect and they blame they have new ownership and the prices featured here and other platforms are outdated!! No prices for items on menu which isn't a bad thing however have them reflect same pricing through out all platforms so you don't feel obligated and robbed to pay! 13.99 for medium menudo 10.99 for medium pozole 2.50 for bread 1.99 for tortillas 4.99 for a Mexican coke 9.99 for a modelo michelada plus tax. Honestly prices are not bad, however the principal.

Yelp
Although there is some need for a change in the space, they have a consistent clientele here. The food is priced well and my husband loves the menudo and the complimenting salsas. I come by every one to two weeks for take out. And the staff has been really friendly, in fact they have gone out of their way to find me after I place my to go order and bring it to me. I expect to go back for it and stay out of the way, because of the lay out, but they find me.

Santiago C.

Yelp
If I could give this zero stars I would. We sat down for 10 minutes and no one took our drink menu. A family that sat after us was assisted right away. While sitting at the table we saw a huge roach crawling on the wall close to an old guy who kept singing the last of his lungs out. They didn't offer the poor old guy water he looked like he was thirsty and ready to go to heaven. Never coming to this place again.

J C.

Yelp
NAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH NO WAY JOSE....!!! HORRIBLE..NASTY.. The bathroom was disgusting Dirty floor Food was the worst part Burrito..cold no flavor How can you get that wrong they just put the Luke warm meat and just rolled up en a cold tortilla... Mini taco n hod dogs cars the ones that you roll by hand the do a better job in providing with hot food. The menudo no flavor not hot .. Meat was add it afterwards.. And the tortillas was an up charge Semi burn thick like pancakes Hand made...i don't think so... Save your money and time... And most importantly protect your family The best part of the meal was the Mexican coca cola. Made with real sugar cane..

Javier M.

Yelp
Authentic fire menudo definitely would return again great service and waitress are really nice . Thank you menudazo

Terri G.

Yelp
Upon arrival, I was hopeful because their clientele subsisted mainly of large male Latino groups, therefore it must be good. I had the white menudo, and I think it was better than the red. It was a little bit oily/fatty, but tasty. I was glad I did. It tasted better than the red menudo soup. The red menudo tasted like bland tomato juice. I also had a michelada. It was good. They allegedly had "tortillas hechas a mano." I believe they were hechos de manos de Diana o Superior (IYKYK). The corn tortillas were really tough. All in all, it was a great place to eat, but it made me miss my dad's menudo because he made it wayyy better.

Magdalena M.

Yelp
I use to love this place till today No flavor and tortillas were not hand made as they advertise and a roach crawled on the table my daughter and i stopped eating , payed and left

Ashley A.

Yelp
Fantastic food. Great service and the live music just sets the best vibe. Check this place out!! Authentic posole their micheladas are delicious too

Eduardo L.

Yelp

Carolina Z.

Yelp
Went this am. Noticed the increase price!.. All good.. Understandable. BUT! no hand tortillas, no avocado, and they dont respect the "first come, ‍first serve". Not cool. Huge downgrade from what this spot once was. Very disappointing.

Gerald G.

Yelp
This is great food...if you are looking for a couple beers and delicious menudo after a night of debauchery ...this is your place

Erica M.

Yelp
This place used to be really good a few years ago, now it's horrible. Menudo is not good at all. I tried their tacos and the meat looked and tasted old. Definitely not going back

Abril C.

Yelp
Good is great !! But paying cash only makes it some what hard to pay .. I'm not used to carry cash on me.

Yhus L.

Yelp
First time coming to this local spot when visiting Vegas this weekend, I ordered the pozole and it was delicious! I had heard really good things about that food and they met our expectations... we were seated at a timely manner but where limited to 6 people per table and we were a partY of 9..... shortly after another large group arrived and started giving employees a hard time about allowing them to sit a party of 10 at one table and for some reason they allowed it and accommodated them which was annoying... also this place is located in a very sketchy neighborhood and wouldn't recommend visiting at night time but other than that it was good

Anel O.

Yelp
Asco!!!

Yulissa M.

Yelp
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone during COVID 19, my husband and I came here for menudo and this place has no social distancing. I seen staff members remove the "This table isn't available sign" off the tables just to sit people down and have this place filled and the staff here sucks, they take forever...First time coming here and we are never gonna come back again

Lorena R.

Yelp
We came to eat some good Mexican food. Let me tell you they did not disappoint the best menudo I had in years. Customer Service was amazing. Thank you we loved everything I definitely recommend...

Ana C.

Yelp
First I want to say people please double check when you go up and pay. My fiancee paid with his C.C and we've never had any issues any where with over charger. So I never thought anything of it or asked him for the receipt. Turns out couple days later the receipt was in my passenger seat. I don't know what made me look at it but it was from El Menudazo realized the amt was $77. The waitress Maria Teresa tipped herself $38.26. Our order total was $39 which made it a total of $77. After I had already left her cash tip on the table. Thats consider theft and she has horrible cuatomer service. Menudo i was wasn't really a fan. The birria I do recommend. The rice and beans needed a bit more flavor rice was too plain for me. They definitely lost a costumer due to the waitress not being cautious of what shes doing.

Arlene M.

Yelp
We ordered menudo and Carne asada fries. Apart from a dirty place the food was bland and no flavor. The server got the food wrong and acted like it was our fault. The service was horrible. Will not return.

Daniel G.

Yelp
I have been here a few times with my aunt and its a favorite place to go. First off they offer menudo in the style we grew up with, "norteño" with homony "con grano" and with pigs feet "con pata". Most places look at you funny for asking for it that way. The quantity is good and quality is excelent. The service is always friendly and playful and they always treat my aunt like a queen! That is a winner in my book! They have a salsa that is the hottest i have ever had. If that is your thing, then this is your place!!

Susy N.

Yelp
Sunday morning craving Menudo. This place is known for having the best menudo in town. Even though I did take out the cashier did warn me, I would have to wait about for20 minutes. The place was completely packed. I had to wait in line. Even though I waited for 30 minutes till I got my food I will say it was worth it. The menudo was delicious!! I ordered a large one and I ate it all. I also ordered Asada tacos. Yummy!!! I'm glad i did wait.

Nicole F.

Yelp
Second time being here and only for the menudo, the menudo was delicious, no grease, no fat on the meat, highly recommended. Only thing is they charge a ridiculous high amount for their drinks. Two sprite soda cans for $3.98, seriously? And if you want water they give you a water bottle and charge for that as well.

Alejandra H.

Yelp
1 muy mal servicio y se tardan mucho para todo la comida está ok no muy buena y el lugar no se ve muy limpio no puse 0 estrellas porque no se puede

Ivonne C.

Yelp
Really tried to like this place where else can we eat menudo in Las vegas?!? But anyways, the menudo is not that great. Its watery and you have to try really really hard for it to taste decent. Anyways, my main concern is that on the menu it says that the menudo plate comes with bread or tortilla, we ordered bread and she asked if we wanted it toasted with butter. She brings our food, and a tray and a half of bread, which we only eat half of. In our bill they charge us $8 for that bread! When we asked our server she said that we ordered that bread but in the menu it states that our bowls each came with complementary bread. So, she charged us for bread but still never brought us our "free" bread. We've never been here before and she knew this, and we feel she took advantage of it. First and last time. Will be calling to talk to a manager.

Stefany V.

Yelp
Heads up, the hours listed on Yelp are wrong- they're expanding hours to include weekdays as of January 12! Hallelujah, now you can get your menudo fix any day of the week not just on weekends. However, I believe they'll still be closing at a ridiculously-early time of 4PM, so plan ahead. The menudo and pozole are the highlights of this menu, both available in rojo or blanco broth- I'm only familiar with red, so that's what I had. There seemed to be minimal difference between the two soups, but I did prefer the menudo. Unfortunately, maybe because I came in so late (2PM), both orders we received were mostly hominy, bone, and gristle/fat. BF tossed the pozole, saying it was the greasiest he's ever had, and all of the "meat" it contained were pieces of fat. The broth is good, but $10 for good broth is not what I think of when I venture to this side of town. In addition to the soups, they also offer plates, tacos, and burritos- the beef in verde sauce appears to be another of their specialties. Tortillas and sopes made fresh in house, service is polite and speaks English.

Lilia M.

Yelp
Tried this place out. The menudo was tasted terrible, hardly any hominy and was over priced. It was like a bowl a red water with no flavor. Extremely disappointed.

Nena C.

Yelp
Loved the friendly service, live music, authentic Mexican food and cleanliness of the establishment. I ordered the pozole, the medium size was a bigger bowl full of meat and hominy than what I expected. I was very satisfied with the comfort the Pozole gave me while enjoying the live music. I was greeted by the staff when I arrived and they were very attentive towards me. I will be back on my next trip to Vegas. I also was delighted by the fresh chips and salsa, they were complimentary. The waiter was very helpful and reiterated business hours and when the live music usually plays. Two thumbs up for this local place! I loved it.

Ricardi C.

Yelp
Called 4 times today 5/30/22 all calls were sent voicemails random times need work on customer service

Fern H.

Yelp
Amazing Pozole but the Menudo was undercooked. When I told the waiter, he just apologized and didn't bother to refund us or heat it some more.

Eddie C.

Yelp
All I have to say is.....Menudo, hand made Corn tortillas, and a cold Coke. Nothing better for breakfast on a Sunday morning, or Saturday, or Friday, maybe even Thursday! Guys, and Gals if you want good Me...(squirl!) sorry, Menudo try this place you won't be disappointed. And if you are, call me I'll finish your plate at no charge! Just tell them Eddie sent you!...just kidding they don't even know I exist! Lol!

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
Good food! Sometimes the menudo is a hit or miss on the flavor but it's still delicious lol. And you have to try they're homemade tortillas, bomb!!

Nelson Q.

Yelp
YELP 365 CHALLENGE 2014-(86/365) "The Hangover Cure" We came by Menudazo for our Menudo/Pozole fix recently and found out that they had shut down their white building location and moved back to their original location just a few doors down and have been here for the last three months now. The restaurant is a bit smaller, but the menu here is still the same. We started out with a Quesadilla with Chorizo, Queso, and Nopales(Cactus). This thing was pretty huge and as much as we wanted to finish this, we couldn't because we had no idea it was spicy chorizo and our mouths were ON FIYAH!!! We also shared their two popular dishes, Menudo Rojo, and Pozole Rojo. (Two sizes available, mediano $6.99 and grande $ 9.99)Both dishes were plentiful, hearty, and filling. For both the Menudo and Pozole, they also offer a Blanco and Verde style as well, but I've only had the red broth, but I'll probably return and try the white and green broths on future visits. If Menudo and Pozole is not your thing, they also have tacos, burritos, and combination plates as well. Their hours are Friday-Sunday 7 am-8 pm and located in the Belmont Plaza. If you're feeling a little hungover from a night of partying and are looking for the best cure, or just want some tasty authentic Mexican food El Menudazo has some of the tastiest selections around. Give 'em a try!!! ALOHA!!! Shaka Meter: \uuu/ \uuu/ \uuu/ \uuu/ 4

Reyna H.

Yelp
I bought menudo last weekend and the white menudo was gross (slimy) from now on i would think twice before I go eat there again

Jasmine L.

Yelp

They have a live band to make u be in the Mexican mood ..u tip him and get the best of his vocals

Jaisyn W.

Yelp
My go to, for, in my opinion, the BEST Menudo, and Pozole, in town. Love to support small, family owned, business. I live out in Summerlin, but make the drive to El Menudazo, several times a month! Luis is awesome!

Casey S.

Yelp
Spent a few days on the strip I needed to get the hell away and back to reality and partake in some real authentic Mexican food and we struck gold this place is got great service the staff was very friendly and actually seemed to enjoy being here and serving us and the medulla was top-notch and the tacos are a 10 out of 10

Crystal V.

Yelp
Where to get menudo during the week and in Las Vegas ? Found this place and it was awesome ! The service was great we were greeted as soon as we walked in , defiantly a family friendly place . The menudo was very tasty got lots of options :) definitely will be back for more thank you again !

Veronica C.

Yelp
I wanted to give 0 stars worst service ever everything wrong from attitude to quality save your money go somewhere else my incident too long to explain but owner should be ashamed of this employees.

Monica M.

Yelp
I don't understand the 4 stars !!! The menudo has no taste, both my husband and I ordered the same thing. Salt,Chile, oregano, onions, cilantro Nothing gave it flavor. Completely disappointed.

Fanny V.

Yelp
I wish I could give them Zero stars. Please avoid this place unless you are trying to get a stomachache. We went for Menudo & Birria just to get told they didn't have the Menudo feet they were barely making it and they didn't have birria they were berly buying the supplies for it. Keep in mind they only had 3 food options and those 2 were out of them 3. My husband got the menudo without feet which smelled horrible and tasted even worst I got the pozole again smelled and tasted horrible super stinky and seemed it had been preheated atleast 3-4 times.. service was bad we didnt get helped till 10 minutes later and there was no clients there only another family when we finally got helped we didn't even get asked what we want to drink and they only thing they new what to say was we didn't have any right now.. no Birria, No menudo Feet, No 7 up. No tostadas for the pozole which all of these were in there menu which had been remade due to covid I guess and for them to still not have the items.. we didn't eat the food and ended up paying and leaving everything cause with just the 3-4 spoons that we took made my stomach hurt and diarrhea couple minutes later which was horrible with the 4 hour drive we had ahead and having to go through the dessert. Please avoid horrible food dirty place I had to clean the table myself I should off turned away the moment we got there...

Oscar G.

Yelp
Only place I come for pozole. Staff Is amazing and friendly. Great big bowel and good vibes with music. It will get busy on the weekends but they will make sure your seated and taken care of

Rocio P.

Yelp
This place has potential, and obviously a lot of customers. Unfortunately they are really unorganized, and wait times are ridiculous. I ordered a big plate of red menudo. When our food came out, I was not impressed at all. The flavor was lacking, as an experienced menudo cooker, some tips for the cooks in the back: 1. hominy should be cooked in the broth so it can absorb some flavor 2. The broth needs a whole lot of flavor, throw some more garlic and onions in there! I hope this place can rehabilitate itself and become a menudo hotspot in Las Vegas, we desperately need it!

Sarai H.

Yelp
After a night in Vegas, my husband tried the Pozole and I tried the menudo. The menudo was almost ok it actually didn't have so much flavor it was almost plain That's why i give it 4 stars but the pozole was really good. I recommend going early because we went around 11am and it was already full. They had live music which i liked.

Valerie M.

Yelp
First experience here was horrible, waited forever for my order for the waiter to tell us they ran out of what we ordered. Gave this place a second chance and same outcome from our first experience... Definitely won't be back!!!

Brian O.

Yelp
Finally, true Menudo and Birria here in Vegas. Always enjoy the coffee and pan dulce when you walk in and wait for seating. Not such a big fan of their tacos, but the menudo and birria are on point.

Gaby B.

Yelp
I'll never gonna go again, my experience there was awful. i ordered a menudo, on my opinion it wasn't good. they offered handmade tortillas instead they just gave me regular tortillas, I waited for 30 mins until I get my food and it was obviously not cheap, no one in my family liked the place or food.
