McDonald’s Workers Protest Sexual Harassment in Front of Chicago HQ | Eater Chicago

"Workers at the tortilla factories have filed multiple complaints with local and state labor authorities after previous protests and an NLRB complaint, alleging unfair sick leave and scheduling practices. They say employees must petition HR to return after a paid sick day and provide a doctor or pharmacist note even for minor illnesses; petitions that are denied result in being sent home without pay. Other workers claim they are routinely scheduled to work seven consecutive days, which they say violates the Illinois One Rest Day in Seven Act." - Aimee Levitt

Easy in and out, a bit of tight parking situation. But if your plan to be early you will be in and out easy. Very nice people to work with and the security guard, she’s amazing. Very thankful to her for helping out drivers with the traffic. Thanks a bunch

If you buy the tortillas here they’ll be as fresh as it gets. I’ve had the experience of bad tortillas from the local stores, I just smell the packaging looking for freshness, they’re free of preservatives. I found this place after stopping by the BMP down the street. It is definitely worth the drive for freshness and price. Especially if you cooking a taquisa or some other meal for a gathering.

The tortillas are great the only problem is that they won’t take new customers. Can somebody help me please.

Great fresh tortillas, small store in a very large tortilla bakery, but surprised today that store is temporarily closed (might be permanently) for renovations.

Their Tortillas are good, but the work standards on this place are not good. Also, a Female friend went to ask for work because they were hiring, they told her no because they were hiring only man. Will be doing a claim to FLSA for discrimination
