"Situated on the banks of the Alardos gorge in a natural and peaceful setting, this authentic restaurant occupies a restored mill with old stone walls. There’s an attractive bar area at the entrance (with a fireplace and a few unusual tables made from the mill’s old grinding stones) and a simple dining room, both of which are decorated in a warm, rustic style. The restaurant serves just one surprise tasting menu, which is contemporary in flavour yet with strong traditional roots, and which focuses on fresh, locally sourced vegetables. The wine list features a choice of natural wines from small wine-producers." - Michelin Inspector

A fake little 'Instagram' venue, more interested in how it looks than the quality of the show. Tiny stage, suited for a trio at best. With a PA that is no better. Short sets so they can get two shows a night, and ridiculous ticket prices. They booked in Eliades Ochoa, a Cuban guitarist and his 6 piece band, crammed them onto the inadequate stage, whilst people were sat at tables, when they should have(and would have, if there was space) been standing and dancing. Smug owner of the the place doesn't get it. Avoid shows there unless it's comedy or something boring.

I will have to survive to the curiosity as I couldn't book a table properly (nor I've seen my money back). There's an online page to book, where I've seen a table for 5 with 5 sits colored in the same way (therefore I guessed they were all available). Trying to book, there's an option to add more with a "+" but it didn't go beyond the number 1 so I imagined I was booking the full table. Being the last table available I've then sent an email to confirm it was all done correctly. They told me I booked only 1 sit and that the table was full. I've explained the processes and they nevertheless refused to refund me. After various emails exchanged they proposed me to book another area of the restaurant for the 5 of us AND ONLY AFTER MY NEW BOOKING refound me; which at that point didn't work considering a day had passed and we already defined another plan. Between the error (caused by their system) and the request of refound only few hours passed, it is not that I tried to cancel something last minute. What a nice way to lose customers.

I want this place to stay open and this is why I write this review. The decor and design are great...the first thing we said when my friends and I went was that it did not feel like Barcelona. You feel like you are transported to a different place and of course the music was great because we purchased tickets to see an artist that we knew. However, the problem starts with the staff and the way things are handled. First, the cocktails were ALL watered down. For a €12 cocktail you expect to feel the alcohol just a little, it was like we'd been served soft drinks. Then, suddenly, half way through the show, which I was starting to get into, someone taps me on the shoulder and asks me if we want more drinks. I say no thanks, not yet. So she immediately says, pay me now. So rather than complain and be distracted from the show, I pay. After the show is over, you can see that they are setting up for what will be a disco dance party. We say we'd like to order another drink now please. Well, you have to go outside and pay another cover charge and come in to the next show. No understanding of flow or hospitality in general. Barcelona needs a nice jazz club like this with great ambiance and a good talent booker but they need to make some tweaks in order to survive. I will probably go back to another show and see if I can update the review. I wish them all the best!

The most beautiful venue to klisten to jazz in the city. Don’t miss it!

Terrific jazz, charming place, unfortunately poor wait staff, who didn’t know anything about the cocktails. Dear managers, kindly train your staff in what they’re serving.

Had a great time tasting local tapas and drinks. Brais was a very knowledgeable and fun guide. So glad we booked this!

Yelp
Best Cabaret and Burlesque show in Barcelona! My boyfriend and I went to El Molino for Valentine's Day and coming from New York I was a little skeptical of the quality. I am so glad that we decided to see the show at El Molino. The theater itself is darling, and all of the seats have a clear view of the stage. We purchased a special that included a bottle of Cave and 2 tickets for 50 euros, and there was enough space at the table for us to order some tapas as well. The acoustics and special effects are incredible, and the performers are top notch. Down to the Maitre'D, everyone in the cast was a pleasure to watch and towards the end of the show there is a special acrobatic act with two dancers who we didn't see below. They were so good that I want to find where else they perform in the city. I'll definitely bring visitors from our of town.
