You could easily walked past this hidden gem of a hotel, as it’s unassuming from the road. Once inside, the gardens and pool area open up and it is beside a river which was very full and powerful. We were welcomed with a lovely glass of cold crisp white wine, which was a nice touch. The rooms are rustic with views over the beautiful gardens. It’s in a beautiful part of Andalucia, with many great walks on your doorstep. The standout of this hotel is the delicious food and amazing staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

A delightful rural hotel with a fabulous restaurant and a charming setting (particularly loved the rushing waterfalls down the side of the property). Perfect for a country break and very close to wonderful walks. Our only criticism was that unfortunately our room (number 9) was below another and we could hear everything from footsteps to bathroom activities (!) which rather spoiled things!

We have been coming here for nearly 20 years, mostly for meals but several times staying in the hotel. We have always found the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The service and meals are exceptional. We have a house nearby and always long to come and be indulged. Long may it remain to provide this outstanding cuisine and hotel.

I really enjoy my time here. The people are really nice!! The rooms and bathrooms are impeccably clean! That’s something I really like. The Verdejo wine is a solid 10/10, and the restaurant is truly exceptional. The food is simply outstanding. Every dish is bursting with authentic flavors, like real food made with care and tradition. From the appetizers to the desserts, each bite is delicious. The rooms also have an authentic Spanish charm, making them incredibly cute. The air conditioning is also a 10/10. The pool has enough space for everyone to be and there is also grass behind the pool with sun beds, in the shadow.

An outstanding experience! All of the staff were absolutely dedicated to giving good service with a very friendly atmosphere. The grounds are a oasis of tranquility The dining is highly recommended, so no need to go anywhere else for dinner

Another excellent hotel, its a little out of town but close to the railway station. The owner was really helpful, going out of his way to help us get to Montejaque to start our walk when we were unable to get a taxi. The food and service is brilliant. Victor was professional and friendly and provided excellent service at the bar and in the dinning room. We really enjoyed our stay here.

This lovely hotel never disappoints it’s my 4th trip here but last was >15 years ago. Beautiful tranquil location next to a small river blessed with beautiful gardens / flowers etc. Best of all the staff - although the original owners have retired - Ricardo who manages the venue and Inma, Patricia and Victor were as amazing as ever.|We arrived earlier than our 20 or so friends and family. The hotel had helped us plan the small gathering and special evening including a private special Flamenco set by a local group (excellent). Food was great and all ran smoothly- even given many changes. Thank you team Molino. 2nd to none. The feedback we received from our friends and guests was beyond expectation too. I totally recommend this hotel for a quiet or private escape with great food on hand.

What a lovely find in the scenic hills of Andalucia. Hotel Molino del Santo sets the bar high with every detail, the most important of which is guest services, where they outperform and show they truly care about their clientele. From the booking process to local expertise to assistance with logistical details - quite tricky for this US couple setting out on a remote walking holiday - the entire staff did all they could for my husband and me, making our stay here one of the best in Spain! Huge plus: the food is fantastic and the bar/restaurant servers exceptional. We had a great stay and would go out of our way to return. Muchas gracias!
