El Moro, Mexico City’s Most Iconic Churro Shop, Is Opening in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"Established in Mexico City in 1935, El Moro has grown to 17 locations and is known for its signature white-and-blue design motif and for putting churro-making front and center, allowing guests to peer through large windows to watch workers fry, cut, and dust the fritters with sugar to order. CEO Santiago Iriarte confirmed to Eater that El Moro will open in the current Patra Burgers on Sunset in Echo Park sometime in May 2025, with Patra continuing to operate there until the end of the year and the building undergoing a complete renovation afterward; the brand made its U.S. debut in November 2023 inside Costa Mesa’s Mercado González. Founded by Iriarte’s great uncle Francisco as a cart before opening a shop in Eje Central, El Moro hired designer Nacho Cadenato in 2014 to rebrand for a younger, more modern audience, and Iriarte says he chose Echo Park because of its Latino and Hispanic history as he searches for the chain’s core nostalgic customers while planning further expansion in California and beyond (with Nevada and Texas under consideration)." - Matthew Kang

The Most Exciting LA Restaurant Openings of 2023 | Eater LA

"I’m excited that Northgate’s immersive Mercado González in Costa Mesa brought Mexico City’s Churreria El Moro to our backyard — I might even call El Moro the best in all of Mexico or at least the best I’ve ever tasted, and I’m taking my kids, nieces, and nephews just for these churros." - Eater Staff

Google
It's a great spot for a sweet treat after you get tacos or something else inside the market. They're super freshly made and scorching hot so maybe wait a bit lol. Lots of flavors and options and decent value. The churros are made to order, piping hot and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They're a bunch of seasonal flavors and dipping sauces. It can be a few bucks if you just want a single churro or a little bit more if you want a bunch of mini churros which isn't too bad. I think mine was a tiny bit overcooked but it didn't ruin it. Located inside of the northgate market, you'll have plenty of things to do before or after the long wait lol. On weekends though, you might have to wait a lot longer. Food: 7/10 Service: 6/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Value: 8/10

Google
This churro was definitely enjoyable. It had a nice balance of sweetness and a satisfying texture that made it a great treat overall. It was fresh, warm, and had that classic churro flavor that you expect—enough to make you want more. While it didn’t quite reach that next level of “amazing” or stand out as the best I’ve ever had, it still delivered a solid experience. If you’re craving something sweet and comforting, this churro won’t disappoint. It’s not unforgettable, but it’s definitely worth getting if you’re nearby.

Google
Well, disappointing to say the least. I ordered a chocolate español and it wasn’t thick at all like a chocolate español should be. So I went back and told them my order was wrong if u could please give me what I asked for. But alas, they gave me one of the same. Not to be pedantic but I just came back from CDMX and their Polanco and condesa locations did have actual thick chocolate español. I understand it takes a long time to make, but why advertise and sell something that you’re not preparing correctly. $6 isn’t cheap either. Churros are ok.

Google
If you've been to Mexico City, you know these churros are famous and have several locations. I was excited to learn they are now in the US! Also pleased to find they are located inside a Mexican food heaven. I really enjoyed my churro.

Google
Nice cafe and churros . El Moro Churreria has a patio outdoor seating area. It’s a great place for a coffee and dessert .

Google
Located in a terrific mercado this is a classic treat from a well known mexico city shop. It is better than most churros but I was a bit disappointed that the one I bought was room temperature rather than freshly warm. Still enjoyed it

Alfonso R.

Google
I had a mixed experience at this store. The shop itself was great, with such a wide variety of items that it really reminded me of Mexico. It was fun to browse through everything they had to offer. However, I was let down by the churros. They were just okay, which was disappointing because I had high expectations. They did not cut them evenly. Honestly, Disneyland's churros are much better. It might have been an off day for them since the staff making the churros seemed uninterested and not very welcoming. The one exception was the lady at the cash register, who was friendly and helpful. Her kindness was a bright spot in the visit. I’d go back for the atmosphere and selection of goods, but I’d probably skip the churros next time.

Google
Worth the hype! long lines, probably 30+ minutes from waiting to order, ordering and waiting to pick up! Atmosphere: retro vibes-cute uniforms with bow ties! Food: churro is lite on cinnamon/sugar coating, and fairly balanced on the crispy and chewiness. They’re good, but not as addictive as I thought it might be. I loved the Mexican hot chocolate- Thick and rich! The Mercado is also brilliant and worth exploring before or after your sugar fix.

Yelp
My favorite churros! I was so excited this was opening in Costa Mesa as I've been to the original in Mexico City. It's located inside Northgate Market and if you walk in on the left entrance. There can be a line since it's a popular spot but things move quickly. You can also order ahead online but I always just order in person since I go during off peak hours. I order 4 churros and that's a good amount for myself and another person to enjoy. I've tried the hot chocolate and it's very rich and creamy. I've also had the chocolate dipping sauce which is good and not too sweet but I enjoy the churros by itself. They always come out super fresh and dipped on cinnamon sugar. It's located inside the Northgate Market so it's always fun walking around and checking things out. There are tables inside as well as outside on the patio to eat. The parking lot can be busy if you go during peak hours.

Yelp
Came by today to check out what the hype was about. So good. Got 1 original churro $3 and 1 seasonal churro with orange blossom at $3.50. Both were perfectly baked. I also bought a cajeta dipping sauce at $2. Don't really need it as it just adds more sweetness to the already sweet churros. Either way you eat them; the churros are great. Best when they come right out of the oven!

Yelp
Los MEJORES churros!!! The BEST churros!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Just typing this makes me crave for another. 4 churros and hazelnut chocolate sauce ~$12. It's made to order, I waited a little over five minutes. I ordered this during opening and with a slight reheat during dinner time that same day, it was equally delicious and crispy.
google avatar

Ross M.

Yelp
The churros are light, crispy and fluffy. The French Hot Chocolate was RICH and creamy. The Cafe de Olla was delicious as well. Definitely worth the drive.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in while shopping for groceries. I love the convenience of having this restaurant inside the store. I opted for a cold brew de olla and it was tasty! It was a bit sweeter than I usually would like but the flavor was absolutely on point. I didn't opt for a churro this time but I've gotten them once and it was a delicious bite. 10/10 I recommend!

Yelp
The most authentic Churro shop/ Churreria ever. I'm very happy I don't have to travel to Mexico City for these rite of passages. They make it how it's done in Spain and Mexico, and dare I say better than most places in California. They're crispy, light, airy, and they're served with the right dips. They're made fresh. Fun fact, Churros are actually eaten for breakfast in Spain. Rest assured, don't expect the chewy, stale, hard to bite churros. The ones that have overly sweet, artificial fillings. You won't find those subpar churros here. This authentic Mexico City chain is located inside Northgate Supermercado, you can enter quickly through the left door facing the store, away from the Main Street. When the colder months start hitting, I will definitely be back soon for their amazing hot chocolates. My personal favorite is the Mexican Hot chocolate. 10000/10

Yelp
Omg!!!! these churros are freaking amazing. At least in my opinion I can't believe I missed these last visit. I was at the bakery and went for the pan dulce Mexican bread and I skipped the churros big mistake anyways today I'm back and I had to stop here. Wow these are so delicious made it to order. They also have hot drinks like Champurrado but since it's summertime, I decided to skip it until winter lol. These are so addicting we finished them in one sitting. They come with dipping sauce my son got a vanilla dip. I went for the Nutella dip so good. It will not disappoint. If you're into churros..... look no further.....see you next week. I'm addicted.

Yelp
Located inside a giant Northgate Market, this churro place really has some of the best churros. It's all freshly made with a light and airy dough which is just sooo magical with that light crisp on the outside. We only got the small size since we ate so much food from the stalls inside the market, but even when full, I wished we got more. There's also a whole list of chocolate drinks. We got the champurrado which is a traditional drink of chocolate mixed with masa harina. It was a thick drink packed with cinnamon and other spices. While unique, I think I'll go for a regular chocolate drink next time to really get the cacao flavor. Lines are usually pretty long on the weekends, but it's fast since they only have a few menu items, just different variations. It's inside the market, but there's also a door straight to this place from the parking lot.
google avatar

Mary N.

Yelp
The churros are made fresh right in front of you. The stand has a very cute design and even the little bag they give you your churros in is so cute. They give a good amount of cinnamon sugar dusting on the churro. And on my visit, they gave me the drill when it was still piping hot so I had time to take my selfie. Find a seat and buy into it still warm.
google avatar

Jennifer H.

Yelp
I have only been here 2 times and they were a year apart. They are as good as I remembered. We only ordered churros this time. The first time I came was when it was grand opening so it was a little chaotic. While the parking lot is still chaotic the process of ordering and getting your churros is quicker since they are mostly selling only that they have someone constantly frying them up. I saw that they now have iced chocolate and a spainish version of the thicker hot chocolate. I ate part of my churro on the drive home and toasted the rest the oven the next day. It was still yummy!

Yelp
This is my favorite churros place ever! My friend first introduced me to El Moro Chureia and I am hooked ever since!! You have the options to get a long churros or churros bite along by with dipping sauce. I opted for the long churros and an order of the churros bite. I also picked the hazelnut chocolate dip and condensed milk for dipping sauce! The churros were made fresh to order, so they always come out piping hot. It was so crunchy with the sweet cinnamon sugar, a perfect combo for dessert! I did request for light sugar, so I can pair them with the dipping sauce. El Moro Churreia located inside of Mercado Gonzales Northgate Market, which is super nice and modern. There are tables that use can sit to enjoy your churros if you don't want to bring your churros to-go. It was really cool seeing the workers fried and make your churros on the spot through the glass window!
google avatar

Estela V.

Yelp
I finally tried this churro bar and it didn't disappoint. They are located in the Northgate grocery store. The line was long but, they work quick to get it down. I ordered the Moritos which are bite sized churros in a cup and it can easily be shared with 2 people. For dipping, I ordered the cajeta and guava sauces which I loved! The churros are absolutely delicious and have the perfect texture. My son ordered the churro ice cream sandwich and it was amazing. The ice cream is on another level when it comes to flavor too. I HIGHLY recommend checking them out if you're in the mood for an amazing dessert.
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
I got an iced lechero with oat milk. I thought it would be sweetened but it wasn't and I'm glad it wasn't. It was really good! Perfect amount of milk to coffee. It's located inside Northgate Market, near the bakery. The line can get long sometimes but it's a nice spot.

Yelp
El Moro Churreria may give Don Churros a run for their money. The little churro shop is located within a bustling Mexican marketplace. The line moved quickly, and we ordered 4 churros with caramel, chocolate, and hazelnut dipping sauces. The churros were made fresh and came out in 5-10 minutes. These babies were piping hot and smelled divine! As I took my first bite, my mouth was filled with cinnamon sugar and flakey, crispy churro. So darn good!! The caramel sauce was my favorite, and I could have just eaten that by itself! Overall, amazing churros! I would love to come back the next time I'm in SoCal!
google avatar

Jason W.

Yelp
The trials were literally everything I look for in a great churro. They were crispy, white, fluffy, and perfectly dusted with cinnamon sugar. I also purchased the trio of dipping sauces to get a little taste of them all. The caramel was the greatest accompaniment, and I think probably the best accompaniment to a churro. But I've got to say the guava dipping sauce may have stolen the show. I only purchased one churro because 4 felt like too much, but that was a mistake! I'm telling you, just get the 4 at least and workout the rest at the gym .
google avatar

Ryan S.

Yelp
The churros here are delicious! I'm not an expert on churros, but I really enjoyed how light and fluffy these were when compared to larger churros at Disneyland or the old Costco churros. They tasted great with the chocolate sauce that we ordered, and my wife and I finished them so quickly. The line moves very fast, and you can see them making the churros fresh through the glass window looking into the kitchen. Would definitely come back!
google avatar

Shirley H.

Yelp
Famous churros from Mexico City?? Count me in! This was our second time visiting this spot located inside Northgate market. We decided to order something different and go with the churro bites instead. These were sooo addicting. Since they were smaller bites, they tasted extra crispy and light. Each churro nugget tasted like a bite of cinnamon-sugared heaven. The chocolate hazelnut sauce was a great compliment as well. Definitely will be dreaming about these churros for days to come.
google avatar

Tiffany A.

Yelp
My sweet coworker was kind enough to get me a homemade churro while at northgate market- I swear I was in heaven. The cinnamon sugar is perfectly distributed throughout the churro. The inside is mushy and gooey in the best way- outside is crispy. It really was the best churro I've ever had. I can't wait for my next one.
google avatar

Jay P.

Yelp
BOMB fresh churros, the original location is in Mexico City and they've been open since 1935. I love the neat uniforms and clean kitchen area which you can view as you are in line. The first time I saw a fresh churro spiral being made was on YouTube and I immediately went to Don Churros Gomez after. That place is traditional and a bit more new school, El Moro feels like you are eating history. Watching the giant spiral being taken out of the oil and cut is part of the experience here. If you've never had a fresh churro do yourself a favor and come here, it's much more airy and light when fresh and the taste is stellar. If you leave it for about 10 minutes it'll start to become dense and like the typical pre cooked churro so enjoy it while it's fresh!
google avatar

Kristen V.

Yelp
The Mercado Gonzales is beautifully decorated with colorful murals, and offers Mexican groceries and cuisine. El Moro Churrería has the best churros that I've ever had in my life. It's busy and popular for obvious reasons. The service is quick and friendly, and there's a good amount of seating to enjoy your snack. These churros are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The burst of cinnamon sugar in every bite makes them so delicious. I can't even think of any other churro that can compete with these. If you want something extra sweet then you can order a dipping sauce or a drink with these, but they're truly perfect by themselves.
google avatar

Anh D.

Yelp
I LOVE the moritos - small churros; I feel it's the perfect portion. I also have now tried chocolate and chocolate/hazelnut dipping sauces and I prefer all chocolate. No seasonal dipping sauce right now; the berry flavor is only for ice cream. Plan on waiting 15 minutes to get your delicious churros!
google avatar

Yelp
El Moro Churreria is a Mexican institution founded in Mexico City in 1935. I never knew what a fresh Churro was supposed to taste like until i visited their original location in Mexico City in 2019. I never forgot the taste. This is not your local fair, food cart Churro that has been sitting under a heat lamp for hours before you consume it. This is the real deal. Made fresh daily, all day long. Warm, Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with a dusting of cinnamon & sugar. They also serve different types of hot chocolate and other Churro related menu items. I was so happy when i found out that they had opened a Churreria in Costa Mesa in southern California. It is Located inside the Mercado Gonzales Northgate supermarket which is an attraction on its own worthy of another review. The prices are average. There is lots of parking outside as well as lots of scattered seating throughout the marketplace. It is a fun, warm, welcoming and vibrant environment that is lively and noisy to say the least. Great spot to do your shopping and have some really tasty Churros. I highly recommend El Moro Churreria. It is a must. Even if you are not a Churro lover.
google avatar

Ryna D.

Yelp
Worth the hype! This is indeed the best Mexican churros in SoCal! There will be a line but it does move fast. The pro move here is to have someone wait in line to order while you go shop for any Mexican ingredients you might need from the grocery. I still wish I could get excellent Spanish churros here but absent that, I'll happily have these Mexican churros!
google avatar

jenn l.

Yelp
Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was POPPIN! The wait was about 25-30 min to get to the cashier. We were not greeted and were given sarcasm when we asked about the different sauces offered. The wait was only about 5-10 minutes long and luckily some seating indoors opened up to sit at. No one comes around to clean the tables though so expect to clean them up yourselves (esp. when people leave sticky messes). Overall, great tucked away spot (inside a Northgate Market) and worth it if you need a quick treat! It also is a great snack while grocery shopping! I also will note that I got the gingerbread flavored churro and really liked it. It was subtle in taste but I liked the dough consistency of these churros. I've been to other Northgate markets but this one felt like I was transported to a little farmers market in another country!
google avatar

Dana T.

Yelp
I am usually not a huge dessert fan, especially churros but these were yummy! I love how they're made fresh so they're nice and warm. Perfect if you have a sweet tooth!
google avatar

Danica V.

Yelp
Great spot to get your churro fix. On weekdays hardly any line but weekends wow the line can go out the door but the do their best to get things going. Love the menu here as they have various options for hot chocolate to pair your yummy churros with and don't forget your cajeta to dip them with. Overall the churros were delicious but if I were to compare to don churros in Anaheim. I'd prefer don churros. That's me. :)
google avatar

Tina T.

Yelp
The churro here was so good! Fresh and the perfect texture! They also sell dipping sauce for the churros but I just tried it by itself. Yum! Def would get it again!
google avatar

Winnie L.

Yelp
Amazing churros and hot chocolate! Churros were cooked perfectly through and perfectly dusted with sugar and cinnamon. Hot chocolate was not too sweet which was great to drink!
google avatar

Jordan L.

Yelp
Amazing churros!!! My roommate and I have debilitating sweet tooth's so of course we had to opt for some churros to celebrate her birthday. These churros are so fresh and delicious I could have had 30. The staff are quick and very nice. Loved this place!!
google avatar

Maritza S.

Yelp
What is not to love about a freshly made churro? Only the long line to actually get one The churros are made fresh right in front of you. They are lightly dusted with sugar and cinnamon. You can also get a small churro ice cream sandwich. They use real vanilla bean ice cream.
google avatar

Richard D.

Yelp
When I went to Mexico City, I stopped by el moro quite a few times to get these delicious churros. When I found this place I was ecstatic. It's the same delicious churros although it's a little bit more expensive. There's always a line here however that is a good thing since you will be getting the freshest churros possible. I got a cup of mini churros to share. That cinnamon sugar goodness. You definitely should eat it as soon as possible because churros really don't keep that well I think.

Irene N.

Yelp
They use to have the best hot chocolate and I would drive all they to Costa Mesa just to get that. This time the drink was very diluted and not as thick and rich as it used to be. Was so disappointed.
google avatar

Anna C.

Yelp
The line wasn't too long when we arrived. I got the Moritos and the Mexicano hot chocolate. The churros were crispy and coated with cinnamon sugar, which there was a lot left of in the cup. Would definitely come back if I'm ever craving churros! The mexicano hot chocolate was also really good. It's semi sweet with small chunks of cinnamon inside which I liked the texture of. Compared to the espanol hot chocolate, which was super thick (almost like pudding I feel like) the mexicano hot chocolate was thinner and silkier. The hot chocolate also made a great dip for the churros. The store is located to the left of northgate market's main entrance. There's a bakery shop right across from El Moro, which we visited afterwards!
google avatar

Mandy F.

Yelp
After watching somebody feed Phil on Netflix and he was in Mexico City having these amazing churros. Then I see something pop up on my IG story of this place opening up inside the biggest Northgate in Costa Mesa, Orange county. Once you walk in you see the El moro first and another bakery across. You order your goodies and you get to stand there and look at the magic happens. Looks amazing and super fresh, We ended up ordering the 12 piece with 3 dipping sauce, two types of hot chocolate, mexicano and france. Mexicano seems a little too sweet but the France wasn't too sweet and delicious. We had to eat some of the churro there and it really doesn't need the dipping sauce. It's delicious the way it is. now reheating it, it's still really good. win win! Service was quick and the staff was very friendly.
google avatar

Peggy C.

Yelp
Delicious churros that are piping hot and so, so good! It makes a huge difference that these are freshly made, and it's very cool seeing them go through the process. 4 churros for 2 people is more than enough. The hot chocolate drinks are thick and pretty good, but combined it may be a bit too much sugar for a sitting. They're pretty fast with the orders and there are a few tables nearby and outside. Worth saving space for when you visit Northgate!

Yelp
El Moro Churreria, located in Costa Mesa, in Mercado Gonzales Food court. Its humble beginnings were as a churro cart in Mexico City in 1935. This location is the first location in the United States. A second location will be opening in Echo Park in 2025. Lines can be crazy on weekends (at least they were the last time I came on a weekend), but they are modest on weeknights. Because I come on weeknights, I can usually find seating at this food court easily. This churro shop is a welcome addition to orange county. I got an order of their moritas (mini churros) with a side of condensed milk dipping sauce. What's not to like about freshly fried churros with cinnamon and sugar and your choice of dipping sauce. You get far more here than you would at disneyland and it's a good time. I don't think I'd wait greater than 20 minutes for this (unless I came here specifically for this), but I do think it's worth visiting if there isn't a crazy wait.
google avatar

Karina P.

Yelp
I had these churros in Mexico City years ago; they were incredible so I was overjoyed to hear that one opened in Costa Mesa. The churros were (almost) as good as I remember; they were lightly sweet and fresh out of the fryer, and the chocolate and caramel sauces go so well.
google avatar

Iver N.

Yelp
A good churro is hard to find. This churreria is located inside the Northgate Mercado. They offer an array of hot chocolate, churro dips, and a churro sandwich. They fry to order so the churros are fresh and hot. Service is quick and the spot is busy. You can enjoy the churro while walking around or one of their patio seatings.
google avatar

Cindy N.

Yelp
Located in Northgate Gonzalez Market, this is one of many food stalls available. The churros here are made fresh to order, which I loved! 'Churro': Super light and fluffy on the inside, and crispy on the outside! Churro itself is pretty thin compared to one's I've had before tho. For $2.50/churro, the price is not too bad and good if you want a small treat to satisfy your sweets craving! Went during the weekday afternoon and there was no wait!
google avatar

Lilee N.

Yelp
Made fresh and plenty of options to customize. The hot chocolate options were decadent, highly recommend. Don't be discouraged by the lines. You can also order ahead with QR code on the wall. No real places to sit down at the shop but plenty of seating around the Mercado. Easy to take out and to go too.
google avatar

Yelp
Located inside the new flagship Northgate Market (by the panaderia), El Moro serves hot and crispy churros (chain is originally from CDMX). What's cool about this bakery is that you can watch them make your churros, from dropping the mix into the fryer, to when they coat it in the sugar-cinnamon topping. Churros are $2.50 each and $1 if you want to add a dip (e.g. condensed milk, caramel, etc.), or $9 for a pack of four churros. While the churro is good, I can't say it's the best churro I've had, and I do think it's overhyped. The night we were here, there were quite a few tourists (as well as local foodies), who were crowding around the churro making staff, constantly taking pictures and videos of the staff (which may have been uncomfortable for them). My verdict is that the churros are something you should try at least once, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again.

Yelp
Crispy cinnamon-coated confections can cause constant cravings! This popular CDMX churrería chain opened their first US location at the Mercado González. They are expanding to Echo Park, with plans to set up shop in other states in the future. The plaza parking lot was a zoo on a Saturday afternoon, I had to park by TJ Maxx and walk over. Their stall (puesto) is on the left side of the market near the bakery, the entrance closest to the outdoor patio. I stood in line for about 15 to 20 minutes, which wasn't too bad. You can view the kitchen through the large glass windows. They run a tight ship, constantly frying, cutting, and freshly coating new churro batches as fast as they can make them. Dips (caramel, chocolate, hazelnut chocolate, condensed milk) are $1 each or 3 for $2.50. They also have drinks, ice cream sandwiches, and merchandise. Online ordering is available, which may save you some time: https://northgatemarkets.namer.alohaonlineordering.com/Engage.aspx?#/engage/ordering/menu What can I say that hasn't already been said? These sugary spirals have a satisfying snap to them, each bite was heavenly. Perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, with the optimal amount of oiliness and sweetness. Ordering just one piece was a mistake. If I had stomach space I would've gotten a dozen!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a cute spot just inside the front doors of the newer Northgate store. I came here and got a hot chocolate and it was definitely hot! It was also good, so my tongue burned a bit. But it was worth it. It's hard to find a good hot chocolate and this one had whipped cream on it. It did take t while to come once I ordered, but I figured that was because they were taking their time to make it. My husband ordered some churros, stuffed ones, and thought they were OK. Now, if they had gluten free ones, that would be fantastic! The people there were very friendly. And if in the area, I'd get another scalding hot chocolate. I now know to wait my turn so it can cool off. They lost a star for the heat but also gained my admiration because I didn't know that a hot chocolate could stay that hot for so long!!!

Yelp
Best churro ever. Better than Don Abel and Horchataria in LA area. Use better ingredients and vegan and a lot less oily. Perfect outside/inside texture. Not overly sweet. Choc dipping sauce is bitter sweet, the bitter compliments the sweetness perfectly. Warning: you will want to keep eating more and more, and because it's not overly greasy you prolly could! You can watch the whole process through the window. I think these are more Spain style churros, all the workers have an accent as if they are from Spain.

Yelp
Tried both the morritos and the regular churros -- both were amazing! I personally preferred the regular churros since they were a bit crispier, which I loved. We came on a Monday afternoon and there was no line, which was a nice bonus! We've also been here on a Saturday night before, and while the line was long, it moved pretty quickly. Definitely coming back again!

Yelp
I was really excited to try the churros here. There was a line when we went but it went by fairly quickly. I thought they were okay. Not the best or craziest churros I've ever had. I with they were warmer. It felt like churros that were already cooked and sitting around for awhile. The churros are located inside of Northgate market and there are other restaurants available.

Yelp
I'm not a sweets person. When I went for one churro, I got a second. I wanted a 3rd after that. Disneyland has nothing on these churros. To compare them is blasphemy. They're fresh and warm and not too decadent. Service was speedy and wonderful. It's located in Mercado Gonzalez, so you can get your groceries as well. 5/5 Will return - with friends!

Yelp
There was no line on a weekday afternoon so service was very fast. I had a single churro without any dipping sauce for $3. They also offer hot and iced coffee along with Mexican hot chocolate. Churro was good but not outstanding.
