Almost like a Tarantino movie. A place made out of a Mexican movie. Heavy ambiance but very intriguing. You feel like you are lost in Mexico 🇲🇽 it’s a gem because you can’t find places like these anywhere in the US. You can tell the food will not disappoint you. Buried on the hills of Oceanside but it’s original.

Never been here and I've lived up the street from them for over 15 years. Just went in to pick up a parrillada and a potato and bean burrito. My boss had the burrito and LOVED IT!--He is a VERY finicky eater. I had the parrillada and it was savory, hot and fantastic! Lady at the counter was very sweet and the food is unmatched. I'll be having the oysters next time. My only advice is that this place needs more light. It's a bit dark in there.

Love the fact that food is fresh & super delicious and the service was amazing...Their were about to close and they didn't mind it that I stayed... very cheerful and cordial...love it and definitely would be on my list of favorite restaurants 😋 👌 😍

Poor service from our waiter and very under seasoned food. There was zero communication with our waiter after our food was given to us. Resteraunt was almost empty so not sure how he was too busy to ask us if we needed anything, which we did. No refills, the wrong food was given to us and we kept getting asked where we were from? I understand making small talk but he wouldn't stop asking which made us uncomfortable because of his off putting tone. I wouldn't recommend this resteraunt if you're expecting actual service.

I went today with my family. We order the 7 mares soup and molcajete and it was delicious and super tasty. They have a really great atmosphere in there!

Stopped by after visiting the beach! Micheladas were on point and food was even better! Owner was very accommodating excellent service!
