Each summer I go here to sit outside on a hot evening. I love their patio. We enjoyed skinny margaritas and chips and salsa to start. I ordered enchiladas suizas plate. I forgot to take a picture of my plate until I was almost done! It was delicious.

Google
Some of the best Mexican food in Denver. My mom said it was the best Chile relleno she’s had- and she’s pretty particular. Best shredded beef for sure- had the shredded beef taco and smothered bean burrito - and house marg- super cute patio with a fountain that blocks most of the street noise- it’s actually a lot bigger inside than it looks from the outside.

Danny Holstein

Google
Great food, atmosphere and decent service, can't fail choice. Standard Mexican food menu and reasonable prices. We had the tacos and beef enchilada, both high quality and tasty.

Henry Bares

Google
Likely the greatest Mexican restaurant in Denver! The super nachos and chimichangas are amazing. From the first taste of the chips and salsa to the final bite of the carnitas, you will swoon over this spot and always look for an opportunity to visit.

Adrianna Erickson

Google
An oasis! Tucked behind the wall on the patio- with the waterfall flowing, it feels like another world! Food prices are high, however happy hour margs are $6! Edgar gave FANTASTIC service!

Generous portions of decent Mexican food at fair prices. Very quick and friendly service. Great fresh squeezed margarita. They have a very nice secluded patio area.

Google
This is by far the worst “Mexican” food I have ever had. I came here last night.. first off I asked if they could make me a chicken quesadilla, they told me they couldn’t (should’ve been the first red flag). My girlfriend asked if she could get two different kinds of tacos (as they come in a set of 4) and was told she could but it would cost extra (which was fine). I ordered a veggie burrito that came out basically soup (wish I took a photo) and was sooooo milky I sent it back after one bite. The tacos came out with absolutely nothing on them, just meat. She asked for cheese and this is what came back out (see photo). The meat looked like canned dog food and we ended up leaving without eating anything. And not to mention, those “tacos” in the photo cost $26. For two sodas, chips and salsa that tasted like nothing, and for these tacos (also extra for the shredded cheese they tossed on these) cost us $45 last night….I don’t know why they only took one of the meals off the bill when we sent the tacos back twice, without taking a single bite. Do NOT go here, 0/10 recommend.

Google
Mexcellent chicken salad. Everything was fresh, the chicken was moist and had a good seasoning on it. The guacamole was fresh and went well with the rest of the salad. ***first time I've been to a Mexican restaurant and been charged for chips and salsa but they where good.

Yelp
I had driven past this place so many times and wanted to check it out. We finally stopped by for dinner on our way to a Nuggets game. There wasn't parking nearby and had to park blocks away. We were seated right away and the server was quick with drinks and out flew came out very quickly. I am glad because he mentioned the big party next to us was about to order and our food would be delayed if we waited to order. The food looked good and tasted okay. It lacked some spice. It had seasoning but no spice whatsoever. It was bland. I would say the service was awesome but the food lacked enough to bring us back.

Yelp
I love the vibe and the smothered burritos here! The chips and house salsa are excellent and complement your entree! Along with nonstop ice tea and the courtyard patio, this is an excellent Mexican restaurant on Santa Fe.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch on a hot day and found respite on the fabulous patio! The food was very good and the drinks refreshing. The perfect place to relax, dine, and imbibe with friends.

Yelp
The service was pretty decent, but the food is pretty bland and is missing a level of flavor that can be achieved around the corner. I mean flavor, not salt. Anyways, I hope there is a reboot to the menu/dishes, because they should be fire based on what the menu depicts. For reference, I had the fundido and veggie fajitas and both were waaaay too oily. Like I legit had to gulp down water and hope for the best.

Yelp
Very good quality food. Nice menu. Will definitely go back. I had the quesabirria special. It was excellent.

Yelp
Excellent Mexican restaurant in Santa Fe. Pretty cool afternoons can be spent walking in the art district and then go her for a drink or food or both. Their outside patio is absolutely awesome. More to come - need better pictures of food.

Yelp
Probably my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Food is always fantastic, fresh, and just all around delicious. Their mole is great, the chicharrón is thick and crunchy, their chili is spicy, and their rellenos come out crispy. I usually get a combination that includes the rellenos. Margaritas are delicious and strong, add a coronarita to it. Staff and service is attentive, friendly, fast, and just great. Never had anything less than a great meal here, and anyone I've ever taken here has been impressed. Huge patio is awesome in warmer weather. Will continue to come back whenever I can.

Yelp
This was our first visit to El Noa Noa. It was a beautiful afternoon and we were looking for a restaurant with a patio to enjoy the pleasant weather. El Noa Noa was the place to be! The al fresco area is gorgeous, with shady tables and a little water fountain (that wasn't working, unfortunately). The food was just okay, standard Denver Mexican fare that's a little greasy and salty. They have gluten free and vegetarian options, which is much appreciated. Worth a try.
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
I stopped by here today with my family who's visiting from out of town, and overall we had a great time. We were instantly drawn to this place because of the beautiful patio area, and ended up staying because of the tasty guacamole and drinks! Plus their Horchata is top notch- best I've had in awhile!

Yelp
The experience at this Mexican restaurant was decent at best. The dishes, while authentic, lacked the vibrant flavors one might expect. The service was adequate, but not particularly noteworthy. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, yet it didn't quite capture the lively spirit of Mexican culture. Overall, it's an okay option if you're in the area, but it might not live up to the expectations of those seeking a truly memorable Mexican dining experience.

Yelp
Is it just us or has the quality gone down? We used to love coming here. Now the salsa has zero spice, the green chili was bland, no flavor for the enchiladas. My husband had a combo meal and he said the only thing good on there was the beef taco and now they charge for chips and salsa. I think this may be our last visit here
google avatar

Suzanne T.

Yelp
Great patio and the food is amazing! I especially love the queso and fried ice cream!

Yelp
Classic Denver spot. The patio is amazing, the margs are strong, the food is solid, and the service is fast.

Yelp
Never go on a First Friday it's a zoo! They have a limited PREMADE menu. They will tell you it's made to order but we got our food in four minutes so you do the math. Came out cold and cheese wasn't even melted and they blamed that on the windy night? They seem to take no responsibility for anything they do wrong. The patio is disgusting because you're sitting right on Santa Fe. Hair and napkins flew onto our table and onto our queso. I've had better food at Taco Bell in the 90's to be honest. The margaritas mix is thick and viscous. It's horrible. I left out the agave and then put it in bc they were so sour. They Cousy don't know how to make a coin style drink. They blamed me for removing the agave as it messed with the integrity of the drink as if they take their time preparing. And don't use a premade bottled mix. It was in a large glass. A coin style? Go to first Friday find an awesome food truck and get drinks somewhere else. You will thank me.
google avatar

Dayle H.

Yelp
Overpriced for the most barely average, under seasoned food... marg mix was pretty rough so I'd recommend a beer. Ambience was great though and location good but can't recommend otherwise

Wes H.

Yelp
Great classic authentic Mexican food. I go here specifically for the patio which is a beautiful place to sit and enjoy a margarita.

Yelp
The food was very delicious and the service was top notch. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for Mexican food lovers.

Caroline K.

Yelp
The best Mexican restaurant in Denver!! Gorgeous, fairly priced, and delicious food/drinks. Everyone who works here was so helpful and maintained a super positive attitude even during a huge rush. 10/10z
google avatar

Christin S.

Yelp
Friendly and fast service in a lovely neighborhood spot with no frills, exactly what we were looking for on a week night The queso was on the thin side but frankly it still hit the spot. The salsa also had some nice heat and flavor to it. The real highlight here were the margs and the chili fries! They also have great combo plate options for a little bit of everything.

Yelp
They have LOST me as a customer FOREVER ! $16 steak chimichanga. Doesn't come with rice or beans and what the frick ??? Steak ? I guess. Every bite was fatty. Was constantly having to spit in a napkin. It was inedible ! Talked to the waiter and he said it was half eaten so they wouldn't be taking it off my bill. I had my three friends try it, so it may have looked that way, but on a $250 tab for 4; YOU would think the customer is always right. Anyway, I asked the waiter to talk to the manager and he said that she was not there. So, I asked to talk to the owner and I was told he was not there. Then, he brought me a business card with two phone numbers on it. So after another margarita and talking to my friends, I decided to call the number and it was the woman behind the bar. the bartender. I could clearly tell when she answered the phone that she was in the restaurant, so I asked her to come to my table. She also refused to take it off our bill and then walked away shaking her head. It couldn't have been more insulting !! So bye Felicia! This place is DONE. I guarantee if the owner doesn't change management they will be in a world of trouble. Maybe then some professionals in the hospitality world will have this great patio.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner on our way to the Santa Fe first Friday Art walk. Great food and drinks. Reasonably priced with good service. Very casual atmosphere. They prefer cash but accept credit cards too. Yes, I'll be back!

Matthew G.

Yelp
Immaculate food, immaculate vibes outside, immaculate servers. Ordered the steak fajita burrito plate which was insane. One of my new favorite places

Yelp
I absolutely love this place, chilling out on the patio. or for a to go order, The staff is always friendly The ambience is incredible

Larry O.

Yelp
Caveat emptor... just visited for a simple lunch, mole chicken enchilada and breakfast burrito entrees, with coffee and horchata to sip... oh, and the no-longer gratis chips & salsa... comes to a whopping $50 !!! ...after the numerous, petty and frivolous FEES [think; Non-cash Transaction Fee - added BEFORE payment method was known, and apart from the Credit/Debit Fee] ... suggest dining elsewhere. Yelp
Absolutely one of the best Mexican restaurants Colorado has. Amazing patio, amazing service! Try Pescado Diabla or Street Tacos adobada.

Yelp
The food and service used to be amazing. But it has changed in the last couple of years. The atmosphere is still great.

Yelp
El Noa Noa is my favorite Mexican food restaurant on this side of town. It has the most attentive and nice staff and the patio is so comfortable and shaded! There is a large fountain that adds white noise to the atmosphere. The staff will come around with chips and salad. These are NOT free. It's $3 for them so just know before you accept them. Fortunately, the Pitchers of margaritas are $23+ and the savings from buying this makes up for the chips. Another tip: as for light sweet and sour in your margs. I typically order the Flautas which comes with 4 chicken or beef taquitos, guac, sour cream, rice and beans. It's too big of a portion for one sitting but you will try and you will regret it! Take some home and save your stomach! My friend always orders the El Noa Noa Special and loves it! Same tip: take some home! This is a wonderful local restaurant, the people, atmosphere and food will keep you coming back over the years!

Yelp
Gosh, can't say enough good things about El Noa Noa and its staff. We had a wedding luncheon planned for Saturday, June 4, and even though El Noa Noa has been under staffed, they came through with delicious food for our guests and with top notch service from Felícia and David. Fidel, the owner, worked with us to make a shortened menu that satisfied everyone's taste b Thank you for making our day so very special! M/M Vallejos

Deb G.

Yelp
Food and services were great but their prices are over the top compared to other Mexican restaurants.
google avatar

Yelp
Nothing to see here...If you are looking for special keep looking this place isn't it. The enchilada plate I ordered didn't come with sour cream or guacamole. The cheese inside the enchiladas had no stretch and the taste was very bland. I was really hoping for more but well it didn't wow me and the portions although covered in sauce were small.
google avatar

Brena E.

Yelp
We ended up here because we were looking for a place with outside seating for a group of eight around 5 o'clock on a Saturday and they were able to accommodate us. Their patio is amazing! I feel like I could sit out there all day with some margaritas. The service was friendly, but it did seem slow and at least a couple of orders were messed up. I asked for no beans or tomatoes with my meal and I got both of those and then someone else's meal didn't have the beans. I would go back again for the outside experience.
google avatar

Irina R.

Yelp
It was very promising at first as we started with excellent margaritas and chip and salsa at the bar while waiting for our table. Even through the bartender seemed to be pretty overwhelmed and wasn't super friendly but I get it, we all have bad days... We were told that they don't have a drink menu because they are "pretty busy" but wasn't given any suggestions what our choices are so decided to ask for margaritas and thankfully the bartender was able to grant our wish (did seem like she did as a favor). Salsa reminded me of the one at my favorite Mexican place in Brighton so I was super excited for the food. There are two choices for vegetarians: vegetarian burrito and cheese enchiladas, that's it. When we asked our waiter if chicken mole was more sweet or savory, he said it was "both" so he clearly didn't know what he is talking about as it was definitely more on a sweet side. Overall, food was super disappointing. I didn't care about the fact that they had a limited menu on a Friday but it just didn't have any flavor. We were a group of five and everyone said that food did it job but it just didn't have any flavor and was just meh...

Yelp
My dad and family, together, have frequented El Noa Noa since the 1980s! They are a staple for our visits to Denver. As much as we love the restaurant's outdoor seating, dining mood, drinks, and service, yesterday night's experience is both outside the norm for the restaurant and something I hope that they see and can act on quickly. Yesterday, we ordered the Noa Noa special and a chili relleno with chips and salsa, and within a few hours, we both had bad stomachaches. At first, I dismissed my stomachs as a reaction to their properly spicy food, but we woke up with terrible nausea and a low-grade fever. We tested ourselves for COVID-19, because, well, you know, it's early 2021 and that's possible, but we tested negative. The urgent care doctor asked us if we had had dined out recently, and we realized that it very well may have been food poisoning. I hope that the wonderful staff at the restaurant read this review before tonight, and hopefully they can figure out and pull out whatever food got contaminated yesterday. Again, very unusual and the situation has probably already been resolved by the time you read this.

Yelp
Very authentic and delicious! Loved the corn chips and guacamole. Salsa was delicious too. The patio is absolutely perfect for a sunny day. There's a beautiful waterfall along the back wall and it's huge! Can probably fit 120 people out there. We all truly enjoyed our food and had a great service. Will definitely be back.
google avatar

Paul B.

Yelp
I ordered the enchiladas suizas. I was very delicious, but my barbacoa taco was amazing! I am the only reason I didn't give it a five star review was the price of the taco ($5) seemed a little too high for my liking! They also have an amazing patio.
google avatar

Yelp
This restaurant is so clean and the food is to die for!! The owner and hosts are super kind and friendly. I got the chicken chimichanga and ordered rice on the side. Can't wait to try the queso and chips so today going there to eat with my daughter cause tomorrow's my birthday!

Craig A.

Yelp
Do not order deliver from here. It packaged terribly my enchilada literally came spilled on my food.
google avatar

Harlee S.

Yelp
A beautiful space for this restaurant, right near downtown. We were sat right as we walked in as there were lots of tables open! The staff were very nice and on the top of their game. I also loved the quiet, calm atmosphere. A nice spot to have a meal with friends or family without it being abnoxiously loud or overbearing. The food was pretty good and there was plenty of it. You know it was good when you leave happy!

Sally A.

Yelp
I have been coming to this restaurant for years largely for the lovely patio but things have definitely changed. I have been met with rudeness and hostility on several occasions (Read google reviews and and see numerous people writing about this) The food is mediocre at best and quite expensive. There are so many better Mexican restaurants in Denver. Still I feel sad. Today I gave it a final shot but the waitress made me feel unwelcome even before I ordered so I got up and walked out. There is something SERIOUSLY WRONG with the people running/owning this place. I will never return there again. Dining out is for pleasure not to be mistreated. Twisted!
google avatar

Melanie T.

Yelp
This is a nice family owned restaurant. The staff is friendly and attentive. Somehow with our giant table of 20, they managed to bring out food and water in to the correct people. I got the steak fajita and that was delicious. I love hearing the sizzling sound of the the peppers, onions, and steak. If you like shrimp and chicken and steak, you can ask for a combo. Waiting for the food to arrive can take a quite while so if you are in a hurry, I don't suggest coming here. Come to El Noa Noa if you want to eat and enjoy your time.
google avatar

Yvonne H.

Yelp
So we came in, granted on 1st Friday. Asked about the wait, she said 15. Ok left cell number, off to bar. We're wondering about the wait since 25 minutes had gone by now, so I went up and asked how long. After she looked and told me eight are ahead of us, I told her that's a bit longer than 15 . " Are you sure you don't mean fifty/ five zero?" Reply, " oh yeah 50,five oh. LOL, that's a big difference. My guy didn't want to wind up drinking his dinner so we left. No, we won't be back. And it looked kind of promising.
google avatar

Nick B.

Yelp
Love me some El Noa Noa! Large spacious seating areas, and if the weather is nice they have a very large, comfortable, shaded patio to sip margs and eat good food. I always have had tasty margaritas, made well without too much sweet and sour (if ordered right) The food is great, too. Tacos mi Tierra are typically my go to - extremely flavorful and you won't leave hungry. The El Noa Noa special is really quite good as well, and always leaves me with leftovers! The staff had always been great, good attitudes, and attentive even when they get busy.

Tom G.

Yelp
Great ambiance, food very tasty . Service is great. I've only been here twice and can't say anything but good about this place!
google avatar

Mary S.

Yelp
I had dinner here with a friend before attending a gallery show. This is a really large restaurant with a beautiful area for patio dining and a separate bar area. The food here is wonderful! We started with an order of chips and salsa and a side of fresh guacamole. The house margarita with fresh squeezed lime juice instead of mix was perfect. We split an order of 5 street tacos that were really good and only $15. The tomatillo sauce was muy caliente ! The chicken had great flavor. Because of the large size of this restaurant, it would be perfect for large groups. Comfortable and cute decor.
google avatar

Laura O.

Yelp
El Noa Noa was excellent. They're $4 house margarita was fine (tasted like any other margarita mix, but not terrible). My husband had enchiladas, I had a flauta and carne Asada taco. All of which was delicious, especially the pinto beans. Table salsa was pretty spicy but good flavor. The gentleman who sat us was very chipper and made us smile, our server seemed like she didn't want to be working which kind of ruined it from a customer service stand point. Overall I'd consider going back.

Linda P.

Yelp
No vegan green Chile, so it's filled with pork. I do not want pork mixed into a plate of green Chile chicken enchiladas. Tamales in red sauce were just OK. Could have used spice for heat as the red Chile was extremely mild. Salsa was good but the chips were stale and salt less. Margaritas were just OK, this is a hard one to mess up, so I ordered ice tea to finish my meal with. Even the tea had weak flavoring. Won't be returning. Still haven't found that excellent Mexican restaurant here in town. My search continues..........

Bryce L.

Yelp
Always a reliable meal, solid portions for the price, quick and friendly service. The patio can be a vibe with the right weather.
google avatar

Ava W.

Yelp
Server was wonderful! He was very accommodating and patient. He made sure all of us were comfortable and got what we wanted. The food was very good and quickly brought out.(We came around lunch time on a Tuesday so it wasn't too busy) As a vegetarian I appreciated the vegetarian options. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
I'm torn! My teenager says the Santa Fe burger is the best burger he's ever had. My New Mexican native (ex) husband thinks the Chile sauces are trash. We've had the pasole and loved it, but they only make it one day a week. The ambiance is cool but it's expensive. I say try it and find your favorite dish then stick with that. The staff are wonderful!
