"As the adjacent Cuban market supplying food to the brewery, El Nuevo Mundo Bakery provides items like loaded carne asada fries and Cubano sandwiches that are served alongside Border X’s beers." - Mona Holmes

Super friendly staff and amazing food that brought back a wave of nostalgia! I honestly got so caught up in the good vibes and great flavors that I spent more than I planned — and I don’t regret it one bit. Totally worth it. Can’t wait to come back!

I’ve been missing Cuban food something bad since moving to LA and this place hits the spot! This place has everything from REAL CUBAN BREAD to Tequeños to Kirby Beans and Maria crackers. While here I ordered beans, maduros, and two cubanos. I saw them cut the pork right off the roasted pig. It was FRESH!!! The lady working here was so nice and it reminded me of Cuban hospitality in Miami when people call you “mi cielo” or “mi tesoro “ iykyk I highly recommend this spot for delicious food and for Cuban Cocina Criolla ingredients!

I ordered the ox tail, two medianoches, beef stew and yucca. To save time, I ordered the items over the phone, but the majority of the order was incorrect. Thankfully, I had the time to make the amendments, but I wish the menu was more available online to avoid future confusion. The food was delicious and quite filling. It fed 4 adults with ease. This is REAL Cuban food, which I can't wait to have again.

I think mostly review stuff I like as I see a lot of five stars in my history - or maybe I just like to eat. In this case there might even be a bit of nostalgia because they had some ingredients I wanted. I was looking for a place to buy some cachucha peppers to make some Cuban beans and ended up here. I found a lot of seasonings and stuff in the market I had been missing - not as prevalent here as Miami, FL, and Union City, NJ. They have a bakery and also serve some Cuban dishes which I found good - rice, black beans, plantains, ropa vieja and other solid comfort foods. Well served and I felt good value for the money.

Old school, real cuban food. I first came here in 1982. Still the best cuban sandwich I have ever had. I will drive 2 hours to get one

This place has lost its luster thru out these years, not as clean as it was with previous owners, food quality is OK seems all the employees are always upset pr with a attitude they do carry authentic cuban products and it's the only cuban grocery store for many miles around

I went on Saturday early, I bough 4 tamales 2 croquetas and 2 parties When I got home ready to eat the tamales were very salty and dry, the chicken parties dry no flavor, and the croquetas tasted like old meat. The price of the food quality doesn't much with the price. I called to complain and the persanswering said she will pass me to the owner and then she said: just bring the receipt and hanged up on me. I've been there before this is the only time the food was bad. I also been in other Cuban restaurants in California and New York this is not the best. I know about good food.

A pretty good Sandwich Cubano accompanied by a Mandarin Jarritos soft drink. The friendliest lady making both the sandwich and pleasant conversation at the same time. All this with Tito Puente, Marc Anthony and Celia Cruz music playing in the background. There are three 2 person tables inside the establishment to enjoy your meal
