Miami’s 13 Best Inexpensive, Affordable Restaurants | Eater Miami

"Consider El Palacio De Los Jugos the original Miami food hall. Serving a wide variety of Latin American dishes like arroz imperial (rice and chicken casserole), maduros (plantains), pan con bistec (steak sandwich), and a variety of fruit juices, this iconic Miami spot is where the locals come to dine on the cheap with special dishes that remind them of home." - Eater Staff

Miami’s Tourist Trap Restaurants That Are Actually Good | Eater Miami

"Translated from Spanish El Palacio de los Jugos means “the palace of the juices.” It’s a nod to all the on-site drinks from local tropical fruits like mamey, maracuya (passion fruit), and guayaba. But there’s plenty more here, like large portions of Cuban classics like chicharrones (fried pork), sandwiches, rice dishes, and sweets. At the same time, it can be daunting to order, as there are multiple counters with different vendors; diners need to travel from one spot to another, picking and paying for what they’d like before enjoying their budget-friendly meal." - Alona Martinez

Excellent! I am not from Miami and have never had Cuban food. I don’t know any Spanish except uno, dos, tres. In fact I didn’t even understand what I needed to do when I walked in. They made me feel really welcome and the food was absolutely outstanding! Very clean. I would highly recommend. Thank you for having me!

Man, the food here? Absolutely delicious. Seriously, go for the taste alone. But be warned: the tip pressure is unreal. They basically just hand you a to-go box, then act like you owe them a fortune. It's like tipping a drive-thru, but with attitude if you don't fork over extra. Loved the food, hated the vibe.

Manager Lee was amazing, immediately took care of us, he knew my husband didn’t speak Spanish and started speaking perfect English to us, I was so impressed with the great service and friendly atmosphere, everything was clean and organized. Thank Lee for your outstanding service!

EVERYTHING IS BAD ABOUT THIS PLACE I ordered through door dash and I got some nasty food ITS NOT EVEN COOKED ITS PINK INSIDE I can't even eat it I tried calling them and they answer and then hang up on me very disrespectful. And when I call the restaurant they answer and hang up on me very BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND...

They charged me double, and when I claimed my money, they were making me look like I was wrong. Took me 20 minutes to make her understand that 2 chicharrones and a shrimp completa don't cost 84 dollars
